Once again, you know who is underutilized in DCxDP crossovers? Battinson. Skrunkly shivering boi. Who we should definitely give children to care for.

Did you know that Jason canonically had a brother named Danny? Well you do now, and it should also be used more.

We all want to give Battinson a robin, so why not give him four for the price of two. He of course gets Dick from the circus- he’s never going to go into public again, this was the first time he’d gone to do something out of his comfort zone for a while and look how that turned out.

And on one of the nights that Dick has to stay home (Alfred insists he must finish his homework if he wants to go out on patrol) Bruce returns to the batmobile to find not one child, but two. Is Danny reincarnated? Just appeared one day? Who knows, but he’s here now and going to protect his little brother.

Bruce might have tears in his eyes when they both hit him in the kneecaps and bolt because even with the armor it still hurts. How he manages to grab both kids he’s not too sure, but he ends up getting them food after they put the tires back. He also doesn’t understand how he’s convinced them into the car but they’ve both conked out and maybe he’s panicking and needs Alfred-

D-Dick why is there another child here? He’s the neighbor, cool cool. W-what do you mean he’s home alone, he’s like, 4?? What do you mean he’s been alone for a week now???

i think a really great aspect of oofuri is how much it gets mihashi's ass for being overly timid and dependent. it would be really easy to write off the way he and abe interact as being abe's fault because he is overbearing, and a lot of people do, but it has some really great moments of going "hey, you cannot hide behind abe or depend on him to make every decision. it's not good for you, or him, or the team."

#oofuri #yeah abe is a little overbearing but it is often because mihashi does not make decisions on his own so abe is just filling in the gaps #because he really and truly cannot make a good guess about what mihashi wants #because mihashi has never said anything about what he wants #but any time mihashi has ever voiced a complaint or suggestion abe takes it into account #he is not dismissive #he just doesn't think to ask because 1. mihashi has never given abe a straight answer to anything 2. abe is not very good at being social!!#autistic teen boy who needs things said simply to him paired up with autistic teen boy who thinks saying things simply will get him killed #abe should ask more but mihashi also needs to say more. abe can't read his mind and he shouldn't have to that's not how relationships work #i get a little irritated at the perception that abe is treating mihashi poorly #what is he meant to do when mihashi doesn't talk to him #i am thinking about the scene where tajima gets mad at mihashi #and tells him 'you can't play baseball with just abe'#because mihashi being incapable of speaking his mind and acting on his own isn't good for the team #and abe will pick up the slack but that isn't how things should be #i did not like the bijou game but i really liked it showcasing the strain it put on abe to make all of the calls #and there is a lot there to be said about how his willingness to do everything but actually pitch for mihashi #stems from how bad catching for haruna was for him #because he felt alone at the catcher's plate the same way mihashi did on the mound #and that. fucking scene of abe begging haruna to pitch. augh. he'll do the rest please just pitch #abe can do everything else as long as mihashi stays on the mound #obsessed with mihashi and abe mutually being so worried that the other person will not be there

*me immediately after going through a terrifying and traumatic experience* haha yeah I guess it was rough but I'm fine now like I'm totally chill. It was kinda funny actually if you think about it

#GUESS WHO GOT A PIERCING INFECTION SO BAD OVERNIGHT SHE HAD TO RUSH TO THE HOSPITAL #AND GET SURGERY TO REMOVE IT BC THE METAL WAS BURROWING ITSELF INSIDE HER LIP #yep that was meee :3 #man. it sounds so silly now. like that probably shouldn't have made me panic nearly as much as it did #but you have to understand at the time it was terrifying #I noticed my lip was a bit swollen earlier in the night but I was like ok it's probably nothing serious #I put some ice on it hoping it would be back to normal after I got some sleep #then I woke up at like 5:30 AM with my lip super swollen and my lip piercing literally burying itself inside my flesh #I tried pushing it back out a bit and blood and pus started coming out so yk I started panicking #so I went upstairs and I asked my mom to drive me to the hospital #luckily we have free healthcare in brazil and the hospital was basically empty(this was on sunday)#but when I got there they told me the doctor wouldn't arrive until 8AM and it was like 6:45 at that point #so I REALLY started panicking 🫠 bc I could feel like the piercing kept burying itself more deeply like #I felt like the skin inside my lip was going to close around it and I was terrified bc I had no idea what to do #and I was scared it might make things worse #but all I could do was sit there and wait and so I started having a panic attack #luckily my mom was there with me the whole time so at least I didn't feel alone #and then I just. waited for it to end. and then tried to keep myself distracted until the doctor got there #I got treated by military doctors! sjdjcjck the army has been giving additional support for hospitals in my city #bc of the floods some health units are currently closed and demand got higher so they needed extra support there #so an army doctor performed my surgery(inside an army tent no less ajfjjfkf maybe not ideal but. functional)#he was so nice?? like probably the calmest most careful doctor I've ever been treated by #I still had a bit of a nervous breakdown again after the surgery but that was bc I'd never been through something like that before #I got anesthesia obvs but I still felt the tug when he cut into my skin to remove the piercing and did my stitches #so my mind started cooking up all these horrible scenarios of how everything could go wrong and I was gonna die #cried on the doctor's table. 👍🏻 awesome #but he and his assistant were super nice about it she even offered me a hug #but anyway in the end I finally calmed down and got some medication #now I'm all stitched up with my little bloated lip eating soup out of a straw 👍🏻 but I'm ALIVE and I'm just glad it's all over fjjvjkf #sleep.txt

#this will likely be the last of my recent twcfm posts #but i did love goemon's (and fujiko's) depictions/relationships #all goemon wants is a friend like him since he feels so alone in the world #but he fell in love with a person who doesn't exist #and he keeps setting himself up for failure by hoping for fujiko to change into the woman he thought she was #only to end up more lonely since before meeting fujiko (the ending of twcfm “resolves” their relationship but it felt wrapped up too soon)#also i'm specifically thinking of the scene where they're on the beach and goemon interprets her actions as having been good and honest for #once only to end up disappointed when she hadn't changed for the better to be more in line with his values #as for fujiko she got closure from her trauma but her relationship with goemon went nowhere #she was too traumatized to understand that goemon was trustworty and genuinely did love her unlike all the other men in her life so far #but it was interesting to see her being comfortable “alone” after she dealt with her trauma as well as her new outlook on life #but i still feel bad for goemon; he deserved better and all he wanted was for someone to want/love him and make him feel he belongs #lupin iii #lupin the third #lupin the 3rd #goemon ishikawa xiii #goemon #fujiko mine #twcfm #the woman called fujiko mine #fujigoe

as much as i would love to give like. a comprehensive response i genuinely dont think i can get my words together just yet without it being a constant unintelligble stream of 'AND ANOTHER THING-' and bc it's become quite torn in the fandom on if the chapter was good or bad i want like. an actual coherent response here. so i will reblog this if/when i can word it but know IM NOT FUCKING HAPPY

#paragraphs and paragraphs about the villains' endings alone. hawks hpsc president. midoriya's ending #the fact hero society is barely changed and the changes that do happen feel very much TELLING the reader it happened #as opposed to actually showing us how society changed on it. this is smthn ik people will argue w me about #bc yes it was a 400+ chapter manga arguably showing us how society changed but like. did it actually show that #like do u honestly think any community would watch televised battles between TEENAGERS and bad guys #and have the majority of them go 'gah! i cant help but sympathise with the bad guy who just suckerpunched child extra no.28!'#so like. why are they all suddenly on board with massive systemic reinvention. where's the rage where's the bitterness #this wasn't a story on showing the villains as redeemable and working towards society sympathising with them #and slowly painfully coming to a conclusion where japan was ready to change as a COLLECTIVE #this was a story of showing a group of redeemable villains (first step CHECK) getting DEFEATED IN BATTLE #THEY ALL FUCKING DIED EXCEPT SPINNER AND PRESUMABLY COMPRESS #WE DONT EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO DABI AT THE END ONLY THAT HE WAS PUT IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION #HE WAS IN WHEN HE WOKE UP FROM HIS COMA AND DABI WAS BORN. 'DABI' AS A PERSONA MEANT NOTHING #we still have an abuser who didn't come to justice. we still have the corrupt government body now being led by the guy they trafficked #and abused and conditioned into the perfect soldier. do u think maybe his opinions are a little biased in regards to that gov. body #maybe. perhaps. slightly. and we still have hero charts!!!!!! every kid in the last chap is still obsessed w becoming a hero!!!!#and dont get me STARTEDDDDDDDDD on midoriya being a teacher. 'i think it's cute he finally gets a life of peace 🥺#this way he can help the next generation directly 🥺' womp to the fucking womp he was supposed to be the world's no.1 hero #he barely sees his friends anymore. 'it's realistic to adulthood!' i dont want realism in my superpowered teen and up manga #put them in the avengers mansion NOW #so as you can see i waffled regardless of saying i specifically wasn't gonna do that and some of these points bother me more than others #with some being personal I Didn't Like It and some being i genuinely truly believe it to be bad writing #but my summary is mha ultimately felt like a story where a group of individuals unlearned (eh) the beliefs of a toxic society #and tried to save the people that society failed and then they themselves DID NOT FUCKING SAVE THEM #(i have a hit on the redemption via death trope on the dark web for ten bajillion pounds)#and while yeah that isn't objectively an evil story to tell i think 1) it was done poorly #and 2) isn't what a lot of people believed the premise to be nor what i think horikoshi himself was trying to write #ask #mha spoilers #mha

"I should've seen the signs" I feel like Stoick was basically reliving the way he lost Valka.

To him, after a lifetime of wanting nothing but to kill a dragon, Hiccup's suddenly and inexplicably changed his mind. To him, Hiccup saying he can't kill them is just like when Valka refused to and tried convincing others as well, then as a result was 'killed' by one herself.

To him, way Hiccup tossed his weapon and shield to the side then approached Hookfang while speaking about how dragons aren't what people think they are probably bares an uncomfortable resemblance to the way Valka put down her weapon and stared a dragon in the eyes and as a result was taken.

To him, attempting to do anything but preemptively defend yourself against a dragon will only end in tragedy, so he has to do anything he can to stop Hiccup before it's too late.

(And just like with Valka, he unintentionally escalated the situation by trying to protect Hiccup but only agitated the dragon, causing it to panic and react, inadvertently putting someone he loves in danger. again)

Stoick of course, wasn't acting rationally, but it makes sense when you think about how traumatizing Valka's 'death' must've been for him (and how much Hiccup reminss him of her); he watched her get taken, presumably killed, and couldn't do anything about it.

#THE PARALLEL GHSSHRBFK THE PARALLELS #'so everything in the ring was a trick? a lie?' he was so elated when he though hiccup was finally taking after him #he convinced himself so hard that This was the real hiccup he's finnaly going to be a proper viking a real member of the tribe #and he was so proud and glad he finally had something he could connect with his son over #but again he'd convinced himself of all that. he completely ignored everything hiccup had to say #in his eagerness to actually be a Family to actually bond with his child #he was so stuck with this fake image of Hiccup the Dragon Slayer he'd convinced himself of to the point #when it all fell through he felt almost betrayed #betrayed and scared #scared he made a horrible irrational and emotionally charged decision of essentially disowning his son #im not saying stoicks a good parent. hes not. but hes trying and alone and taking care of an entire village as well as hiccup #and all the unprocessed trauma and emotional repression #hes not great but hes not bad either. hes trying.#hes trying and its not enough but at least it got better #i love stoick #parents of autistic kids they dont understand moment #httyd #stoick the vast #stoick haddock #hiccup haddock #valka haddock #httyd analysis #maybe?#hiccup horrendous haddock iii #haddock family #moth.txt #also pls dont tell me abt how valka and the 2nd movie wasnt planned yet. ik that but i like expanding on things #and pondering a characters reasoning for certain decisions bc its fun and makes them all the more fascinating #post rewatch 1am thoughts go crazy (sorry if any of this is like redundant or confusing. im tired) if u read the tags ily

Does anyone else feel like Aylinluna was horribly out of character this episode?? I've heard that apparently some things were cut, so that might be the reason but it still felt weird. Like ur telling me Luna, who has literally been so respectful of Aylin's boundaries literally even last episode, is suddenly forcing her to go out of her comfort zone?? Okay, fine, I understand the concept of wanting ur gf to get along with ur friends, but ur telling me Luna wouldn't stand up for Aylin when someone is clearly getting in her face and making her uncomfortable?? That she would call her an ALIEN??!!!
