Does anyone else feel like Aylinluna was horribly out of character this episode?? I've heard that apparently some things were cut, so that might be the reason but it still felt weird. Like ur telling me Luna, who has literally been so respectful of Aylin's boundaries literally even last episode, is suddenly forcing her to go out of her comfort zone?? Okay, fine, I understand the concept of wanting ur gf to get along with ur friends, but ur telling me Luna wouldn't stand up for Aylin when someone is clearly getting in her face and making her uncomfortable?? That she would call her an ALIEN??!!!

Mega Man ZX Advent Thoughts
Overall, positive
I felt like 90% of the transformations were too situational to be fun to use
The plant, the crab, the dinosaur, the bee, etc
Fittingly, I ended up mostly only using Models ZX and H just like last game, just like I would’ve predicted
HOW is the spinning slash still so powerful???
from watching speedrun sir Zero 1-4, it seems like each game nerfed the OP strat of the last game but not here
I got 0 chips but I at least got 2 life upgrades and a sub tank
Side content is actually easier to find and keep track of in this game admittedly
Really enjoyed seeing the ZX protag
I was sad that fairy leviathan was swapped back to a boy after being one of the very few female characters in the series
I felt even more detached from the elemental system in this game
Did they just
never think to add another element? In six games?
Like, I think they made the plant boss lightning just so he’d be weak to fire.
This game really did feel like a monkey’s paw of me wishing that Model L didn’t stick out like a sore thumb last game
I think having to transform between 20 characters makes it clunkier.
I would’ve much preferred for 4 different transformations to get multiple layers of upgrades so that each had as well-rounded a move set by the end as Zero 3/4
The map was better
Having a map at all on the bottom screen was better
It still drove me INSANE wanting to play as Model H but losing my map every time I did that
Unlocking new models should’ve just unlocked new tabs on the map instead of forcing you to lose the map as certain characters
I absolutely hate the scrapyard and I can’t believe I went back for a life upgrade
The plot, again, was just okay

I think something is lost in localization because it all seemed so ill-defined and nebulous
God, it would’ve been nice if they had just not included that secret ensign cliffhanger, huh?
No music stood out to me this time
It was fun to see recurring features/details from ZX like the chandelier
I struggled with some platforming, I think
Much preferred the fast travel system here compared to ZX
I did play this one with the bottom screen actually visible
I will say that I feel like this map was less Metroidvania than the last one
Hardest boss was the weird green furnace that strangles you with vines, hated that guy
My headcanon is that Wily, Weil, and Albert are all somehow the same person.
I did have several screens in this game that just felt really good to execute cleanly, like more than usual
For some reason, I really hated the UI on the model switching. I was always getting confused about which one was selected and which way I was spinning the wheel. And a grid would’ve worked way better (I know it’s a grid on the touch screen)
Somehow energy crystals were even less useful in this game, easily the least useful currency of any mega man game I’ve played
Honestly, I missed having overdrives
I did use giga crush to start basically every boss fight
Got the final boss first try, although I did have to use a sub tank and I did play on casual mode
What even is a maverick at this point? Do we even see one in either of this games?
For the ZX subseries as a whole, I really like a lot of the gameplay concepts but I feel like the execution is a little lacking and I would’ve loved to see a third game.
For example, I really popped off for the finale of Zero 4 and ended up getting attached to the four guardians, but none of the original characters or moments in ZX(A) are nearly as memorable
I cannot believe that technically Zero (as model Z) ONCE AGAIN stayed behind on a floating base that was sinking
Swords > guns still
I just felt real gross every time I had to do one of the transformation gimmicks, like climbing vines or “docking”. I found myself trying to find ways around having to do them
I felt like it was kind of a waste to not use L/R or two of the face buttons to hotswap forms, since that was a staple of the X series
The cutscenes again looked amazing, it’s so cool to get to see it almost “behind the scenes”
I played with remastered voice acting, which I almost felt like was a mistake. The voice actors seem like they are being deliberately directed to overact so that it comes through when it’s bit crushed, so it sounds extra silly without the compression. May be why I had a hard time taking the plot seriously.
I did appreciate that human form still featured a gun, and that you were less often forced into it
I also appreciated the length tutorial and movelists for each transformation. As a kid I know that would’ve really helped me ease in to it.
I do kind of want to go back and play as Grey, having played as Ashe. I think it’s really cool that there’s an actual gameplay difference.
Side note: this means only 3 mega man’s left! 9, 10, and 11! 9 and 10 should be pretty quick since they’re styled after the original trilogy, but I’m not quite sure what to expect from 11. I’m really looking forward to playing all three games and then having my life back! Despite that sentiment, it really has been an incredible experience getting to see so many years of gaming history back to back. It’s hard to appreciate anyone one of these games without playing the others first, and I’m really glad to be having this experience when I am.

Two questions:
1. What do you feel about CorpsexSykunno ship?
I feel like it's MarkiplierxJacksepticeye all over again, starts out innocent and turns uncomfortable.
(Also I think real people shipping is gross in general)
2. Dream smp makes me so nervous, not necessarily because of any of the members but due to (1) the history of online teams dominated (and lead) by male influencers, (2) minecraft youtube's general history of exploiting fans. I feel like it's going to end badly. You seem to be enjoying it tho, and it's definitely up my alley, should I get into it?
1. Corpse and Sykkuno are not comfortable being shipped! Neither of them are okay with being shipped with ANY of their friends in general, so like, don’t do it, or if u do like. i guess just don’t say anything about it? it’s really not hard to just enjoy their friendship. like it’s an endearing friendship n there’s nothing wrong w liking it. but. nothing more u know. plus both of them have made it clear on several occasions that they’re both straight and my gaydar agrees JFKDKDK like they’re just. Friends. Who care about each other :)
I definitely think it’s not like the markiplier x jacksepticeye situation, because for one u have jack himself telling people not to ship etc etc and also BECAUSE of that u have people actively policing any form of shipping. it’s honestly gotten to the point where it’s annoying but i genuinely don’t think it’s that big a problem, plus the rising popularity of the amigops puts less pressure on one-on-one corpse + sykkuno interactions, since people now wanna see all four of them play games together n not just corpse n sykkuno!
2. I get why Dream SMP would make u nervous. An interesting thing I realized when I started finding out more about people on that server is that there’s marginally more poc on it than I previously thought and also A LOTTTTT more lgbt+ people than i previously thought. Like genuinely why are so many of u so gay. And like that affects the stories being told obviously. Like. I don’t think it’s perfect n I don’t follow EVERY person on the SMP, just like i obviously don’t know everything about every minecraft YouTuber like fkdkdkdk i would say the only people i watch are dream, george, quackity (and even then i haven’t seen most of quackity’s YouTube videos) and like I’ve seen a couple of tommyinnit’s videos Fjdjdjdj and sapnap obviously but he has like 10 videos and i watch Karl’s streams if certain people are on it. yeah i think that’s about it like i do like the feral boys (dream george karl quackity sapnap) and i have seen maybe one or two skeppy videos
Anyway I get ur concerns about online circles dominated by male influencers too. but quite frankly compared to past circles ive seen its genuinely not that bad and also. In terms of holding them accountable, I think mcyttwt makes VERY sure of that (which honestly has devolved into a problem. because privileged haters will dig up stuff on creators that either a. has been addressed properly or b. is just. several years old and i don’t like how minorities are being weaponized. also i cannot stress how little i care that some minecraft YouTuber said the r slur 10 years ago when they literally never do it now. like. i worry so much because so many of these stans who think they’re ‘educating’ are just wearing themselves out n burning themselves out. so many of them are minors too)
but like. the people i am kept up w definitely do take responsibility and accountability. like dream especially gets accused of stuff that’s either fake/not him or something that’s just like out of this world (e.g. accused of queerbaiting. w george. interestingly no one ever accuses george directly of doing this) and no matter what he like addresses it properly and accordingly. like looking at his journey as a creator over the past year he’s grown a LOT and changed so much and matured a lot and i think like. looking at how much he’s blowing up and how much more of a following he’ll gain. I feel much better that it’s him who has this following as compared to. Certain people. And like. It’s upsetting to see how a lot of people have this impression of him that’s objectively false? Due to all the fake stuff that gets spread by haters (most often white for some reason???)? Because genuinely he’s not the creator we need to be so worried about?
Anyway in terms of getting into mcyts in the dream smp. I knew who Dream was because he’s played among us w the amigops a lot n they all like him because he’s just a good natured amicable person. I vaguely knew who george was because of dnf n also people putting his stupid face on my tl all the time. I thought he was pretty n hated that I thought that. I don’t care anymore tho. Like what’s wrong w looking at pretty people. I deserve it. Anyway! I got into their videos through GEORGE first, funnily. I think Minecraft, But I’m Not Colorblind Anymore was the first one I watched and it’s very very good. It’s endearing because it’s George trying out colorblind glasses for the first time n he’s nervous but Dream is there with him to make him feel more comfortable. And also Dream is so happy n emotional (he talks about tearing up at the thought of George being able to see colors properly) and their friendship is just very endearing. The video starts w george taking a colorblind test and we find out he has protan colorblindness (severity: STRONG which makes them crack jokes about how George is SO strong đŸ˜€)
anyway these losers. Decide to test the colorblind glasses on colors in MINECRAFT because of course that’s the whole video and it’s really heartwarming to see George learn how colors look like again n Dream just being excited about it the whole time n then George taking the colorblind test again at the end but with the glasses on... n then u go on to watch more george videos but it’s the ANIMAL CHALLENGES. like George Speedruns Minecraft But His Friend Is (Insert Animal, This Animal Is Always Dream) and like...... yeah so I watched a bunch of George’s videos n I went onto dream’s channel out of curiosity
And i was like. What the fuck. These videos are so WEIRDLY named. What the fuck is Finale, Finale Rematch, Grand Finale???? But dream has adhd too and in hindsight I absolutely would’ve titled the videos in a similarly confusing way. Anyway dreams manhunt videos are...... a work of art. I swear to god like even if u don’t know jackshit about minecraft they are very entertaining and weirdly impressive.
Basically in Minecraft Manhunt: Dream has to beat the game, but his friends are there trying to kill him. If they kill him even ONCE, they win n the video ends. He’s allowed to kill them repeatedly though. Manhunt started with one hunter (George, to one’s surprise), then two hunters (Sapnap and George), three (Sapnap, George, BadBoyHalo), and now four (Sapnap, George, BadBoyHalo, Antfrost). The next stage is possibly 5 hunters but idk who is the fifth yet. Anyway the thing that’s so entertaining about minecraft manhunt is:
1) Dream’s Parkour & PVP skills, which he developed and trained over such a short period of time n got REALLY good, it’s satisfying to watch him do risky maneuvers n succeed, the ways he’ll jump from a high place but clutch w either water, blocks, horses, boats, scaffolding, etc, to escape from the hunters
2) Dream’s TRAPS, like he actually does research for possible plans n traps he could do to counter the hunters, since there’s so many of them and only one of him, and he can’t just fight them in combat exclusively, since he’ll lose eventually if he gets ganged up on. I won’t spoil any of his traps, but they’re very good and also very dramatic. It’s amazing
3) The banter and taunting!! The lies and tricks!! They’re all really close so it’s easy for them to crack jokes during a lull where neither party is engaged in a fight, they’re all on the same VC so they can potentially say stuff to trick each other, or they can hear the other team say stuff that gives them an edge
4) The editing. Like the pacing is incredible, and all the bgm used is SO good at setting the atmosphere n making things more tense n exciting etc. like “dream’s manhunt music” is honestly a meme at this point but he actually unironically uses it and it unironically makes the videos better. Also dream edits all the manhunt videos by himself!! he doesn’t hire editors to do it for him or anything
idk what else to say but yeah I watch most of dream n george’s YouTube videos and they’re in most of each other’s videos and I like their dynamic a lot!! Especially since they still have not met in real life but already know they want to like live together (forever, according to George), and it like reminds me of the friendships I have because most of my close friendships have been made online. And like. They remind me that online friendships aren’t actually inferior. That’s it :) sorry this is so long

Got to be honest the more I think about the whole K@cey situation the stupider she and her clown fans look. She's the Twitch version of Trisha except that Trisha made her platform herself instead of leeching off of other people and clout to gain followers. Also at least Trisha apologises even if she doesn't mean it.
First off her fans only defences are Dream queerbating, Dream cheating and that she said the slurs months ago (which was true until she said slurs in her original stream addressing things).
First off Queerbating is used for fictional characters it's basically where a media piece have a same sex will they won't they couple that never become canon. It's used to "please" bigoted audiences and LGBTQ audiences. Real people can't queerbait. Second off even if Dream was queerbating which he isn't her entire arguement was instantly ruined by forcing him to label himself. (As someone who was unlabeled for a long time it's incredibly damaging to force a potentially confused person to make a choice based on sexuality especially a public figure) I saw people confused about how it can be damaging so I'll add a bit at the bottom to explain :)
Dream cheated being their only defence is stupid not just because only Dream knows whether he actually cheated or not but also because trying to compare someone cheating in a block game to someone offensive and being racist to a bunch of communities and cultures is the dumbest fucking thing ever. I would get bringing it up if it directly affected Kacey but it doesn't. The only people actually affected was Dream, the speedrunning mods and the speedrunning community.
Her fans only way to defend her that isn't deflecting the arguement onto someone else is that it's people bringing up past clips and that she's changed. Only for her to ruin the arguement by saying the b slur as she's discussing why she shouldn't apologise for saying the r slur. Also if it being a clip from 3 months ago means it's stupid to bring up as it's old drama why do they continue to mention Dream's speedrunning drama.
Let's talk a bit about them also calling Dream a trump supporter like Kacey doesn't often wear Trump merch. Like your fav is wearing Trump apparel why are you using trump supporter as an insult to defend her. Also them calling Dream and p3do like she wasn’t the 30 year old who went on two 19 year olds love or hosts
I saw people confused about how it can be harmful so I want to make a hypothetical situation to help explain. Hypothetically if Dream was a closeted gay, Kacey would be straight up outing someone who not only wasn't prepared but also an incredibly public figure. If he was gay but chose to say he was straight it can be super damaging to identity as well as if he wanted to come out in his own terms in the future people would link back saying to the clip if him saying he's straight (I'm not saying sexuality can't change it definitely can). If he came out even if he wasn't sure he would definitely lose a large amount of fans as well as be under more internet harassment than he already was. If he came out then retracted it he'd be accused of queerbating. That's just a few examples and scenarios there's many more. Hope this explains for people who were confused.

I don't know if maybe we're seeing two totally different sides of the fandom, but I know for a fact that Dream doesn't "get away" with anything.
Dream wasn't trying to deny that his fanbase was largely anti-black. He was trying to say that not everyone in his fanbase is anti-black/his entire fanbase is built on being anti-black. (This is coming from a black person). Dream was naive on thinking that there WEREN'T people who were anti-black, in his community, but that's because he largely doesn't dive too deep into his fanbase and only sees the positives of it rather than the negative. Which he tried to remedy by listening to the community and following with the demands to follow black stans, but now he's in a position where some of these stans are being racist and harassing other stans/fans in his community, which Dream has repeatedly said he doesn't endorse, but considering he was repeatedly pushed to follow them, there's a certain context now being shoved in that if he unfollows them, he's a racist. If he continues to do so, he condones them sending harassment and breaking the boundaries that he set up towards his fans.
He also caught a ton of backlash for trying to defend himself when he said the r-word, because even though he explained that thought the r-word meant stupid, people said he can't reclaim it regardless of context and still hold it over his head.
People also call Dream a pedophile and a groomer because of that "16 y/o is legal in the uk joke" and he gets called a manipulative, lying sack of shit for the cheating scandal, while also having the reputation of "siccing" his stans onto people who disagree with him even in the slightest.
Of course he's still widely loved in the fandom, dude has over 22 million fans and most of them still love and support him, but his fandom is also willing to rip and tear into him the minute he "slips up".
"If he was literally anyone else-" well he's Dream. There is no anyone else because according to both his stans and his antis, he's a piece of shit both in an affectionate way, and derogatory way. (Most of the time, it's derogatory).
Sorry, if the rant came off as overly aggressive, but I just came across your post while looking up on a situation on Mcyttwt and saw your dream critical post. I may not love the guy, but I really just don't see the point of saying that he "get away" with anything when I've seen more people cursing his name like it's their dying breath than be supportive and "overlook" his transgressions upon humanity lol
oh trust me, i get you 100% . again most of my post was generally centred on the dsmp fandom itself, because believe me i know the guy gets torn up in any other community. i dont even necessarily hold most of these things against them, like the legal thing and the cheating scandal, i was using them as examples. im sure he has changed from these experiences, but with the mcyttwt community i feel like these things get addressed every once in a while when the criticism and hate from people outside the circle gets too big, but dies down extremely quickly after he makes a tweet about being a dogboy or appearing in the connoreatspants direct. if anything i think the hate dream gets outside the fandom can get a bit too nitpicky, but the problem is people inside his fandom have the direct opposite reaction where they almost never crit him, and the people that do crit him never seem to fully turn against him like other ccs. of course, there is no one like dream and he is a special case but can you imagine what would happen to a different dsmp cc if they said or did at least ONE thing hes done. like, hbomb made a sketchy joke similar to the '16 is legal' joke and used glitches to his advantage to win hole in the wall in mcc similarly to dream using that mod to help get better odds and get a good time on his speedrun (not exact 1:1 comparisons but i think they still work well) but hbomb is the one who now has his reputation damaged in the eyes of lots of mcyttwt users (a lot of them being in dreams own subtwt) while dream gets maybe a slap on the wrist by his fans. again, i know hes a unique case, but i still feel the hypocrisy of dreams fans is unfair when compared to how the same people react to other ccs doing similar things. again, get your point 100% and i am in no way saying dream doesnt get Any Shit Ever, he has a whole kiwifarms thread about him calling him fat and manipulative. im not doubting that he gets no hate, i just find the way his fans in his own subtwt specifically never seem to hold him as accountable as they do people like h, fundy, tommy, techno etc.

I saw someone comment that if nicky and joe actually had a speed-run version of a romance it wouldn't be much better than rey/kylo (ie: nicky's redemption should be a *process* and not a single act; it'd take more than just "i'm switching sides and fighting with you" for joe to truly forgive him... which is ENTIRELY reasonable/understandable) - do you think the comparison is fair? (I mean, Nicky wasn't a space nazi but he WAS an indoctrinated religious radical)
well..... no, for a variety of reasons (allow me to say beforehand that i dont really... hate r*ylo or r*ylo in general but im.. hm, not a fan of the ship or the sequel trilogy)
edit: i am actually going to put this under a cut bc its longer than i thought it was when i wrote it
first of all i think theres something to be said abt the fact that ben (im just gonna call him ben so this post doesnt come up in search) is a space nazi. hes part of a fictional group of people who oppress a different fictional group of people, despite having some inspiration taken from rl. nicky was part of an invasion force that existed in real history, a part of a war that has had far-reaching effects in the real world to this day. as much as nicolo himself is fictional, neither the crusades nor the ideologies that had a part in fueling them are. so it feels a bit crass to compare the two.
(also like.. man, the sith blew up two (three?) planets. thats like several billion people each, how are you supposed to compare almost cartoonish villainy like that to real life?)
secondly ben had like... presumably more power over the situation than nicky did, idk what the situation is for ben’s backstory in canon terms rn, (its been more or less retconned a couple times i believe), but ben was the child of two powerful and privileged people and likely received all the education in the world on why Murder And Fascism Bad.
he was like? supposedly groomed by snoke, but what does that even mean? anakin went to the dark side bc he valued the life of his wife more than the lives of all the jedi. simple as that. he was manipulated but he still willingly assisted in a genocide to achieve his own personal goals, how can you just step back and say ‘ben was manipulated into it its not his fault’ when he no doubt knew better that Blowing Up Planets Bad. but then even on top of that.. .we dont really know nicky’s exact situation prior to the crusades which brings me to the next point,
what we know abt nicky’s mindset in the crusades era:
greg said once that ‘it was a time of religious hatred’ which is. vague.
one of the promo vids said nicky was ‘ a young knight who had left the priesthood behind to follow the crusade ‘ which is.. vague
nicky himself said ‘he was taught to hate’ joe’s ‘people’ which is... vague
the comics shows a dialogue-less couple of panels of joe and nicky killing each other which is..................... vague
we really dont know that much about nicky’s situation other than he was ‘taught to hate’, which is how all hatred works, hatred isnt a biologically ingrained behavior, its always taught. ‘taught to hate’ can mean everything from someone slapping him on the back one day and going ‘hey those muslims suck’ to full ass brainwashing, who tf knows. we can only guess based off historical information, and tog has proven itself to not be historically accurate several times over now. so you really cant compare nicky’s mindset to ben’s bc we dont know what nicky’s mindset was.
but even then theres a difference between ‘i was taught incorrect information and i formerly believed i was doing a good thing and i now am beginning to realize that i am not’ and ‘ive been knowingly evil (literally red lightsaber and all) for literal years but ive just decided to change my mind bc i had a vision of my father (whomst i murdered) asking me to be good again’
(i mean come on, ben was actively resisting his good impulses. ‘forgive me i feel the pull to the light again’. )
lastly i also dont think thats fair to tog bc i wouldnt count r*ylo as a ‘speedrun’. it was set up in tlj, the problem with r*ylo is that it was bounced between two directors who not only had different visions for the franchise, but conflicting visions for the franchise and? seemingly they didnt collaborate at all. so if it feels like ben and rey were ping pong-ing back and forth between being enemies and borderline-lovers, its bc they were created by two men with completely different ideas of what the relationship looked like + they were at the mercy of a company which has pretty singlemindedly dedicated itself to lowest-common-denominator media that offends Nobody and thus tried to pass them off as pseudo-canon so neither the shippers nor the antis would get Mad. tog doesnt have these problems.
i think the idea of joe and nicky blinking once at each other and just immediately falling in love is, while fun and hilarious, a bit silly realistically bc thats generally not how feelings Work (I Dont Believe In Love At First Sight). going on a 24hr murder-bender and immediately going ‘oh wait im actually in love with this person who just brutally murdered me’ isnt comparable to two people who have a couple hours’ worth of content focused around essentially being inside of eachother’s brains and learning why the other Is The Way They Are. r*ylo didnt come out of nowhere, it was lead up to (just really poorly)
realistically, i think joe and nicky would like. at least have to get to know each other a little before they could convincingly fall in love imo, but theres rlly nothing comparable there with ben and rey to me

If Supernatural Can Get Fifteen Seasons, The Silmarillion Can Get Fifteen Seasons: An Overview
I’m going to be going into much more detail in individual season-specific posts, but for the moment, here is the extremely condensed look at what each of these seasons would entail plotwise. I’ve included a cut for length; I hope this translates to mobile well. I’ve followed chronology more or less as closely as I can, adding additional time in places where I thought it made sense or moving events closer together for thematic resonance, and I’ve included Russingon because I’m me and of course I did.
The idea is that this is a 2D animated series rated TV-MA (comparable to R for feature films in the US, or any of HBO’s shows) with fifteen seasons, 26 hourlong episodes each.
Season 1: Valinor, and the unrest between the houses of the Noldor, interwoven with stories about the beginning of the universe/the Great Journey from Cuiviénen/etc. Establishes our core Valinorean cast, and hints at Thingol being a presence later. Main storyline involves Finwëan Family Drama, with bonus Melkor Fucking Shit Up. We meet Maglor's secret wife Aeriel, Curufin's known wife Annamírë + his son Celebrimbor, and become aware of Fingon and Maedhros's love affair. The Sword Incident and Fëanor's banishment to Formenos are featured. The audience knows Melkor is plotting something but doesn't know what. Series finale is the Darkening of Valinor - like, the last thing the audience sees before the series ends is the elves' festival in Tirion and then everything goes dark. Roll credits.
Season 2: Cold open on Maedhros and Maglor and Celegorm finding Finwë's body + realizing the Silmarils are gone. Flashback to Melkor's plans, and we see the Darkening from his perspective. He flees across the ocean and Ungoliant vanishes. Cover the drama between Fingolfin and Fëanor over the crown, Lalwen and Findis and Finarfin rallying around their brother, etc. Maedhros and Fingon marry. Fëanor convinces nearly all of of his loyalists to leave specifically to avenge his personal losses, Fingolfin has a larger amount of people who want to go East to fight Morgoth. Set up a conflict between Fingolfin and Fëanor here - Fingolfin does actually want to defend the elves still living in Arda proper and the soon-to-come Men from Morgoth's influence, while Fëanor is raving about how I Will Not Be Replaced. (This is not strictly canonical, but it is a good contrast of their leadership styles, and it widens the gap between them/adds another reason why Fëanor would perceive Fingolfin as a threat.) Kinslaying at Alqualondë, Finarfin and his people noping out, Fëanor seeming to forgive/make nice with Fingolfin after his people joined in the fight for the ships. He offers to sail East first, with the justification that if there is danger there he'll be the first to encounter it. Maedhros is reluctantly parted from Fingon. Maglor reveals to Amrod that he was married, and his wife died in the battle. They arrive at Losgar, empty out the boats, and make camp for the night. Amrod goes back onboard the ship to sleep. Maedhros wakes up early, finds his father awake, and asks if he can take the boats back West to pick up Fingon et al. Fëanor loses his shit and starts rousing everyone for the shipburning. Maedhros asks him not to, and reveals his marriage, and Fëanor's response is to throw the first torch. Amrod dies, and none of his brothers can get to him. Fingolfin's host sees the flames from across the ocean, and turn towards the north and the Ice. End season.
Season 3: The host moves inland to Mithrim and begins to set up camp. They've met some Sindar by now, and they carry word back to Doriath that FinwĂ«'s son and grandchildren have come back to Arda. Thingol tells LĂșthien, who is just past her majority into adulthood, a part of his life story that she hasn't heard yet: that FinwĂ« was his best friend, and that he'd been on his way to see FinwĂ« when he was sidetracked by Melian. He decides to let FĂ«anor and his host stay in Mithrim in memory of that friendship. Dagor-nin-Giliath happens, FĂ«anor dies at the end of the second episode. Episode 3 deals with Maedhros being hastily crowned, and receiving word from Morgoth that he'll parlay for a Silmaril, and him riding out despite his brothers' suspicions. He's taken captive, end episode. Episode 4 is after a 58-solar-year timeskip, revealing the fate of Fingolfin's host on the Ice. We open on a dream of ElenwĂ« drowning by Turgon; he wakes to reassure himself that Idril is all right and then everyone continues on. The whole episode is taken up by the Ice and the Battle of the Lammoth, ending with Argon's death and the rising of the Sun. Next episode starts with the elves but cuts over to humanity, newly awakened in HildĂłrien - this is a hint of what’s to come. Fingolfin's host challenges Morgoth and goes unanswered, and then return to Mithrim and settle on the opposite side of the lake from the FĂ«anorians, who are doing SUBSTANTIALLY better bc they stole a lot from their fellow Noldor and they also don't treat the land they're living on like Thingol's, vs Fingolfin who refuses to do anything except the bare minimum his people need to survive until they get Permission. Basically the rest of this season is some of the events of Blessed Hands, with Maedhros's rescue and recovery and ensuing family drama. Five solar years pass, and the season ends with him and Fingon riding up to the outskirts of the FĂ«anorian encampment.
Season 4: Season opens with Maedhros being reunited with his brothers and opening formal negotiations for an apology to Fingolfin. Thingol opens formal negotiations with Maedhros and Fingolfin, but neither one reveal to him why they've come to Beleriand/the circumstances surrounding their departure. Fingolfin wants to speak to Thingol personally, and Maedhros defers to him. Permission is granted for the Noldor to settle in the north of Beleriand. A council meeting is held to settle the matter of the High Kingship; Fingolfin is elected and Maedhros votes for him, angering his brothers. He offers to take up residence in the northeastern mountains near Angband, and Fingolfin grants him and his House lordship of that region. The FĂ«anorian host begins to depart, but postpones their journey for the Mereth Aderthad. Beleg, Daeron, Mablung, and a few other Sindarin elves attend the feast. Orodreth meets his future wife. Last half of the season covers 40 years - Turgon and Finrod have their visions, the Noldor begin to construct multiple settlements, and attack Morgoth with renewed strength. Season ends with the triumph of the Dagor Aglareb and the departure of Turgon from Nevrast with his host.
Season 5: Season opens in Doriath, with Galadriel having taken up residence there. Brief summation of the beginning of the Siege of Angband. Angrod pisses off Thingol and causes the Ban on Quenya, and news of this is carried to Himring, Nargothrond, and Gondolin, giving us a sense of their status/construction. Caranthir meets the Dwarves of the Blue Mountains and strikes up a friendship/partnership with them. Fingon visits Himring once it's finished. Gondolin and Nargothrond are completed. Orcs attack Hithlum by coming up the Lammoth but are turned back. Maedhros, Caranthir, Maglor, and Celegorm go to Barad Eithel for the bicentennial of the Mereth Aderthad. Tension here is primarily political/slice-of-life - it's peaceful, even if it's a watchful peace, and it seems like Morgoth is pretty effectively held at bay. The only exception is Aredhel, who grows dissatisfied with Gondolin and finally leaves after a massive fight with Turgon about everything from his family loyalty to his politics to his taste in clothing. Young Glaurung is turned back easily by Fingon and a few other soldiers. Season ends with Finrod getting separated from the sons of FĂ«anor while on a hunt and encountering Men in the woods, changing everything.
Season 6: Speedrun Part Two! This is the Season of Men and Politics, covering 145 years. We see the Edain choose to integrate into Noldorin society, with all the lumps and bumps this causes, and how they respond to the elves around them. BĂ«or, Marach, Haldad, Haleth, Haldar, Malach, Zimrahin, Hador, Adanel, Bereg, Amlach, and Andreth all become important characters. The Green-elves can't stand Men bc they're insufferable vegans, the Sindar are isolationist and suspicious save for a few of their Marchwardens/soldiers, and the Noldor are eager to make new friends. Focus is given to the tensions between the different Edainic groups and philosophies, and how different Houses and clans interact with elves and dwarves. There's not a lot of certainty that the decision to stay was the right one, and different voices have different opinions. All this tension culminates in two things: the council meeting that ends with Bereg leaving Beleriand along with a thousand followers, and the Haladin being trapped behind the Gelion-Ascar Stockade and saved by Caranthir and his forces before going to Brethil. The resolution of this season-long arc is the Edain essentially deciding that if they're going to stay, they'll stay on their own terms, and each House decides what that means. Andreth and Aegnor meet and fall in love. The Athrabeth gets an entire episode. Elvish character drama that isn't about interacting with Men is kept to a minimum except for Aredhel's arc - this is the season where she loses her guards, gets stuck in Nan Elmoth, and encounters Eöl. He's dark and creepy and mysterious and she's at once afraid of him and kind of enamored by his difference from everything she's known, but he quickly turns awful. Huor, Morwen, RĂan, Emeldir, Barahir, and HĂșrin are introduced. Maeglin is born, and grows up, and he and Aredhel escape Nan Elmoth and make a run for Gondolin with Eöl following. The Bragollach and Aredhel's death make up the season finale.
Season 7: Season opens with Fingon's coronation, Maedhros crashing said coronation, baby Gil-galad being sent to Fingon to be his ward and then sent away to CĂrdan on the coast, and the revelation that Sauron has taken Tol Sirion and Dorthonion has fallen. Flashbacks to various parts of the Bragollach: Celegorm, Curufin, and Celebrimbor saving Orodreth from Sauron's forces and fleeing to Nargothrond/Emeldir fleeing over the mountains to Brethil with the BĂ«orian civilians while Barahir and Beren and what's left of the fighters remain/Huor and HĂșrin being taken to Gondolin. Maedhros begins plans for Revenge, Fingon starts leveling austerity measures against the nobility to finance refugee relief, Gondolin mourns Aredhel and doesn't know what to do with Maeglin, and Nargothrond adjusts to having C&C around. Barahir tells Beren about Finrod's oath to always help their family. Sauron tricks Gorlim and slaughters everyone but Beren, who tries and fails to defend Dorthonion and finally flees south and gets lost in the woods of Neldoreth. He meets LĂșthien, falls in love with her, and runs afoul of Thingol, who decides to use him to cause infighting in FinwĂ«'s descendants. Quest for the Silmaril, with all that entails, meanwhile Fingon struggles with High Kingship and Maedhros makes alliances with the Easterlings and the Dwarves of Belegost. Plenty of time is given to Beren and LĂșthien and the Hunt for Carcharoth, with the season finale being their marriage after they return to life.
Season 8: Season opens with Huor and HĂșrin leaving Gondolin and returning home just in time for battle plans to really start ramping up. If everyone's attacking Angband, no one's attacking Doriath, and if Morgoth is defeated, maybe two Silmarils are really all we need, or so we hope. This is an entire season dedicated to loose ends - Thingol's refusal to join the Union, Orodreth assuming lordship of Nargothrond, Gondolin drama, etc. Morwen and HĂșrin marry and have TĂșrin and Urwen. Huor and RĂan court and fall in love and marry, and RĂan gets pregnant. Beren and LĂșthien sneak away from Ossiriand with an infant Dior to visit Beren's family and are present for the wedding. There are little skirmishes, and some suspicions of treachery among the Easterlings that get shut down both by BĂłr's steadfastness and Fingon insisting that everyone's allied here and due complete respect. A plague hits Estolad, with Urwen dying, and HĂșrin trying to convince Morwen to send TĂșrin to Doriath since he's now blood kindred to the King. Morwen refuses, and discovers she's pregnant again as HĂșrin marches off to war. The Nirnaeth is a three-part season finale, with Tuor's birth juxtaposed against Huor's death.
Season 9: The Children of HĂșrin/Fall of Gondolin Extravaganza, Part One. TĂșrin is sent away to Doriath, grows up there, spends time on the marches, falls in love with Beleg and marries him in elvish fashion, and then finally snaps because he can't deal with Menegroth's racist bullshit anymore. Tuor, raised by elves, is finally captured and enslaved. Saeros dies. TĂșrin leaves Doriath to become an outlaw. Tuor survives as a thrall for years. Morwen and Nienor flee to Doriath, Gwindor escapes Angband and makes his way south towards Nargothrond, Beleg is killed by TĂșrin, and Tuor finally escapes thralldom. Tuor arrives at Nevrast and TĂșrin arrives at Nargothrond in the same episode. Ulmo appears to Tuor, and TĂșrin discovers from Gwindor that HĂșrin and his entire line have been cursed by Morgoth. Contrast TĂșrin's desire for action now with Tuor's somewhat careless wandering. Tuor meets VoronwĂ« and they make for Gondolin. Glaurung attacks Nargothrond, and it falls. TĂșrin escapes into the wilderness and crosses paths with his cousin. Nienor loses her memory and is found by the men of Brethil in the same episode that Tuor comes to Gondolin. End season.
Season 10: CoH/TFOG, Part Two. TĂșrin goes home and finds his mother and sister gone and makes a mess of things but manages to escape. Tuor tries to tell Turgon to leave and can't convince him, and decides to remain in Gondolin. Tuor and Idril/TĂșrin and Nienor/Dior and Nimloth meet and fall in love, with this arc culminating in them all marrying in the same episode with the last scene cutting between the three ceremonies. Glaurung returns. TĂșrin kills him, Nienor gets her memory back, they die. ElurĂ©d and ElurĂn born. Wanderings of HĂșrin, including the curse on Gondolin for not letting him in. The Nauglamir comes to Doriath, and with it the first echoes of doom. Season ends with HĂșrin and Morwen reuniting and their deaths.
Season 11: TFOG Part Three. Thingol gets nerfed by dwarves. Mablung dies. Battle of the Thousand Caves, Battle of Sarn Gebir, where Beren takes the Silmaril back from the dwarves and sends it to Doriath again. Melian departs for Valinor. Dior crowned King of Doriath. Elwing born. The FĂ«anorians attack Doriath in the Second Kinslaying but Elwing escapes with the Silmaril and makes it to the Havens of Sirion. Maeglin caught by Morgoth and tortured. Maedhros learns Elwing has the Silmaril but forswears the Oath. The actual Fall of Gondolin is a six-part season finale.
Season 12: Season opens with Maedhros futilely sending letters to Elwing pleading for her to relinquish the Silmaril. She refuses, being in her mid-teens now. Most of this season, the FĂ«anorians are a distant threat; the majority of the story is EĂ€rendil and Elwing falling in love and assuming leadership of the Havens. Gil-galad becomes High King of the Noldor. CĂrdan starts advocating for asking for help from the West. Celebrimbor escaped Nargothrond's fall and is living as a civilian in Sirion. Idril and Tuor sail for Valinor, their fates unknown. Years pass. EĂ€rendil and Elwing marry, and EĂ€rendil resolves to try to go for help once more. An absolutely kickass ship gets built. Elrond and Elros are born. EĂ€rendil sails West. The FĂ«anorians are unable to stave off the Oath any longer and attack the Havens, destroying everything. Elwing, convinced her sons are already murdered and having flashbacks to the disappearance of her brothers, jumps from the cliff with the Silmaril and flies for EĂ€rendil's ship. Elrond and Elros are 'adopted' by Maedhros and Maglor. Season ends with a new star appearing in the sky, and Maedhros and Maglor recognizing it as a Silmaril and wondering what that means.
Season 13: Season opens with Gil-galad and Círdan and what Mannish and Dwarvish refugees they've encountered beginning to consider trying to fight back against Morgoth again, as he's been attacking their last remaining refuges. It's been seven years since Sirion was sacked, and no one's seen Elrond and Elros since their disappearance. A pair of twenty-year-old-by-human-standards twins who look neither elven nor human show up on Gil-galad's doorstep, and Círdan recognizes them as the missing boys. They won't talk about their childhood at all, but they say they're here to help in whatever way they can. Hostilities escalate quickly. Halfway through the season the Vanyar and several reembodied Noldor and Teleri arrive in Beleriand, led by Ingwion and Eönwë and Finarfin. The War of Wrath begins.
Season 14: Just. An entire season of the War of Wrath. It's decades of war there's a lot of shit to do here. The biggest thing is that Elros meets Men for the first time and feels like he's come home, starting at the bottom of their ranks and rising through them meritocracy-style. He meets a woman named Elwen who's essentially a pirate and falls in love with her.
Season 15: The first half of the season is the last bit of the WoW, ending with EĂ€rendil killing Ancalagon and breaking open Thangorodrim. Sauron escapes, Morgoth is cast into the Void. Elrond and Elros make their Choice. CelebrĂan is born, with her naming witnessed by all the reembodied ArafinwĂ«ans. The elves who wish to return to Valinor do so, with some - Gil-galad and Galadriel and Celebrimbor, namely - electing to stay. The Valar reward the Men involved in the war with NĂșmenor, though not all of them choose to go. Those that do elect Elros as their King after the Valar have departed. Loose ends are tied up, the beginnings of Middle-Earth are established, and the series ends on a shot of the setting sun from the point of view of Elros's palace.
More specific examinations of each season are coming. But this is a basic idea of what I’m looking for, this would be my Ultimate Dream Adaptation. I could probably cut it down to eight seasons? Probably. But then I’d lose that precious pacing.

I need a quick shrink opinion because I am having Problems with my current one (I scheduled a second opinion appointment but it’s not till October 12 and my medication questions are too urgent to wait till then)
@slatestarscratchpad and it won’t let me @ @gruntledandhinged for some reason
so I have OCD, for which I take (in principle) fluvoxamine, and also had some kind of an episode (manic? hypomanic?) in May which had aftershocks into June and possibly July; my psychiatrist took me off SSRIs lest I have another one of those episodes. (I wasn’t on fluvoxamine at the time, because Reasons, so SSRI use did not directly contribute to the episode, but she thinks it would heighten my risk or having another one.) I have been on a low dose of risperidone (recently increased from 0.5 mg to 1 mg) in the meantime and nothing else. This was supposed to be a short-term thing but every time we talk about putting me on something else there’s some reason why I shouldn’t do it yet.
In the meantime my OCD has been really bad (currently, as of this writing, R E A L L Y B A D) and I have also been very depressed for the past week. I need to get into therapy but there’s going to be a bit of a wait there (old therapist is no longer available, have to go through the process of switching to someone else) and in the meantime I think I would really benefit from SSRIs but my psychiatrist is just really firm that it’s a terrible idea, even though I’m on risperidone at the same time.
She keeps talking about puttiing me on lithium, with or without SSRIs at the same time (the former being a prequisite for the latter) but the last two times, prior to my appointment yesterday, that I saw her, she said she needed to do more research about it/think about it more. Her verdict yesterday was that my compliance record is too spotty (see above re: the fact that I was not on SSRIs at the time I had the ‘sode, although my psychiatrist thinks that was probably for the best) for her to safely put me on lithium (for...toxicity reasons?) which means I also can’t be on SSRIs. For like two seconds she entertained the notion of switching me to Abilify since messing up the dosage wouldn’t be as dangerous and the side effects are not as bad (for an atypical antipsychotic) as risperidone but then for reasons that are unclear to me she opted to just send me home with a risperidone prescription, but this time telling me to take 1 mg instead of .5. The idea was that when I’m in therapy I’ll be in a better position to comply with treatment med-wise so only then will she consider putting me on lithium?? Or something like that. Being (rightly) gung-ho about therapy is also her way of actually giving a shit about my OCD since she sure as hell isn’t putting me on any meds for it right now (even Abilify would probably have been better. The risperidone does NOTHING for it, at least not at this dose, but I don’t WANT to go on a higher dose.)
The risperidone kind of maybe helps my mood a little in some vague way sometimes, especially if I’m anxious rather than depressed, but I’d rather be on something else--either SSRIs or a better (?) mood stabilizer or both (I am aware the psychiatrist would rather I frame this is “a better mood stabilizer, with or without SSRIs”). The mood stabilizer thing will just have to wait but I actually have a supply of fluvoxamine I could start on (speedrun titration schedule would be starting at 50 mg and doubling every five days until I get to 200 mg, easygoing one would be starting at 50 mg and increasing by another 50 once a week).
I guess what I’m asking is, what are your thoughts on me going on fluvoxamine against my psychiatrist’s wishes while I wait for a second opinion, while continuing to take the risperidone? How does that compare with lithium + SSRIs? And is she right to refuse to put me on lithium right now? Also where does Abilify fit into all this?
Am I wrong to want to throw meds at this problem at all? Do I need to just stick it out till my next therapy appointment? NB: I have one on Tuesday but it’s not a regular ongoing thing since the guy I have it with isn’t really available, so who knows when the next one will be.

Nintendo Direct E3 Takes
Well we’re pretty much done with E3 at this point, and it looks like once again Nintendo is carrying the whole damn thing on their back.
This is obviously a bit biased, because I’m not really into the AAA gaming industry otherwise, and the only other potential announcement I cared about didn’t happen. You had one fucking job, Capcom. One job.
Anyway as I did last time this came around I’m giving some hot takes like every single other person on this godforsaken internet because innovation is dead and react culture is king. Shall we?
Smash DLC Fighter
10 or something idk
Tumblr media
I mean, look. I was hoping for an indie representative. Kazuya isn’t really that. But on the other hand, Tekken rep is something I can still get behind. They’ve already got Street Fighter and Fatal Fury in there, might as well get Tekken. What’s next, Raiden from Mortal Kombat? Hell, might as well get some Rivals of Aether character in there, might as well, don’t even have to change much.
From what little we’ve seen of Kazuya’s kit, it looks like his gimmick is going to be
complicated input combos for special attacks. Hm. Well, it’ll probably be fine. People managed with Ryu, they’ll manage with Kazuya. I do appreciate that they gave this guy his demon form- I guess they had to make him jump somehow, huh?
 Life is Strange
I haven’t played the original Life is Strange, but I did watch a playthrough so I know how it goes. Don’t really know much about Before the Storm or 2, but I don’t think 2 is part of this collection anyway? Look I’m probably not going to buy this, but it’s probably good that it exists. The original was like, actual good rep, I think, so they’re probably not going to fuck this one up. New character is neat looking, good for them.
A Bunch of games, I guess
Guardians of the Galaxy? Damn dude, did I ask?
Worms Rumble said it had 32-person multiplayer, which I was like well hang on how’s that going to work with turn-based Worms combat you’d be waiting for ever. Except it isn’t turn-based. And it looks like ass as a result. F.
Astria Ascending
I’m reading this name and I already forgot what this was. Sorry if you cared about it I suppose.
I know nothing of the Two Point
series, I guess? I keep on seeing Hospital pop up on either Steam or the eShop, and I’ve scrolled past it without thinking twice every single time. Not about to change that.
 Super Monkey Ball
I understand this series was a lot of fun for a lot of people, but it just looks miserable to me. With that said, I have seen some speedruns of these games that look incredible, so on that axis I’m happy this is getting made. Makes doing a marathon-length run of this a fair bit easier.
 Mario Party
Look I haven’t even gotten around to playing my (very fake) Mario Party 3 cart, you think I’m going to buy another 80 dollar game on top of that? Nah.
 Metroid
Tumblr media
Yoooooooooooooo lets fucking gooooooooooooo
Okay so I’ve actually never beaten a Metroid game. Got some ways into Fusion and Super but didn’t complete either of them. But this looks super cool and good and I’m here for it. They mentioned that this was the first new 2D Metroid game in 19 years, which I guess means Fusion was the latest one.

wait how many Metroid games are there even? Like, the original, Super, Fusion, the three Primes, and that one we don’t talk about
is that it? That feels a lot smaller than I thought it was, but I guess it adds up.
Just don’t cock it up, I guess. Metroid and Castlevania’s absence have left indie devs to fight for the Metroidvania name, and it’s about time the big boys got to come back around again.
 More bullshit
Just Dance 2022. Is this one also coming out on the Wii?
Some racing game that looks cheap as fuck, neato. Man I feel bad for the devs working on these absolute shovelware games, like I bet they’re either working hard or being worked to the bone. But this is what the result is. R.I.P.
It’s about 13 years too late for me to be caring about Dragon Ball. Especially since this is just a port. Next.
Mario Golf
I mean we saw this earlier this year. I don’t even know what was actually new in this presentation.
Bowsers outfit is fucking clean though. Once again proving himself the best Mario character.
 Monster Hunter
Fuck off Capcom. Y’all are leaving Mega Man in the fucking dust and he doesn’t deserve it.
I mean I guess ill get into it here, I mostly just wanted something, anything for the Mega Man Battle Network series. It’s their 20th anniversary, and we haven’t gotten shit so far. Literally just a MMBN collection for the switch, that’s all I want. They were even on the Wii U VC, you can just port those again, I don’t care fucking give it to me.
Anyway. Monhun? Ehhh they already showed this at their lacklustre presentation who cares.
 Warioware
Look I haven’t played this series before, it’s probably fun, but I’m not sure how they stretch microgame content out into a fully-priced game.
Also, the multiplayer looks kinda miserable? Like, in case Mario Party was a little too efficient for ruining friendships, now you can yell at one person specifically for fucking the both of you up, and vice versa. Wheeeeee.
 SMT5
Tumblr media
Shoutouts to Squiggy, they’re super hype for this and I’m happy to see it. I personally again haven’t played this series, let alone Persona (though 4 is sitting untouched in my steam library, oops), but it looks pretty aight. I’m sure there’ll be a huge pile of demons to fuck up, or friend up, and some level of story that people will like (I have literally no idea what the plot of the series is), so. Atlus (?) has been at this for a long fucking time, they aren’t goofing this up.
 Danganronpa
Tumblr media
Shirtless Rantaro Shirtless Rantaro  (shamelessly stolen from u/ AnaLissaMelculo on r/danganronpa)
I’m interested to see Talent Development Plan develop into it’s own fully fleshed out game. It was surprisingly good for a tacked-on minigame, and I hope that they’ll fully take advantage of its potential.
It also looks like the 4 games are releasing separately on Switch, but there is a physical collectors edition with all of them, and I mean, I can probably afford that, riiiiight?
R.I.P. Ultra Despair Girls fans, snubbed yet again. Ehhhh fuck it aside from the dialogue that game sucks ass so its fine.
 More stuff
Fatal Frame looks spooky, I guess. I dunno, I was talking to mates through half of this one so I basically missed it.
DOOM Eternal DLC, cool. I still haven’t finished the original.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater should be on the Switch, and now it is. Or, it will be, in a couple weeks. Good.
There’s something on this list of notes called Strange Brigade, and I have literally no idea what that is. Oops again.
Mario+Rabbids 2, now with a Rabbid Goth GF. I’m terrified to go on any fuckin NSFW platforms for the next couple weeks, because I’m sure everyone is drawing incredibly cursed hentai of that thing. Ubisoft sucks ass, fuck Ubisoft, don’t buy this.
 Advance Wars
Tumblr media
This sure isn’t Fire Emblem. Actually when I was explaining to my mates why this was cool, I called it Fire Emblem but with tanks instead of waifus, except I forgot this game still has waifus. I know strategy nerds love this series, so for their sake I’m happy to see it remade. This just looks unbelievably cute.
 Zelda
Tumblr media
Oh look, Hyrule Warriors 2 DLC, Zelda gets the motorbike now, cool who fucking cares we got more BOTW sequel footage
It does kinda bug me that people keep calling this BOTW 2, because there’s no way that’s what it’s going to be called. Zelda has never done numbered sequels. I mean, they’ve also very rarely done sequels at all, but there are a few- Phantom Hourglass is a sequel to Wind Waker iirc.
It is kinda funny that right after I was saying boo who cares to Skyward Sword remake (still mad this is one game and not a collection) that the new game clearly has SS-ass floating islands and such.
I was hoping we’d get to see Zelda do things this game. Apparently not, she’s stuck in a hole now. Or dead. A shame. But Link at least looks kickass, so.
Look, they could not say a single other thing until release and everyone would still buy this game. Breath of the Wild was an incredible enough game that so many things that vaguely resemble it get compared- Genshin Impact comes to mind. This is likely made by the same (or similar) team, in the same world, and it looks fucking incredible. We all know this is going to be a good game. My hot take isn’t going to change that.
And that’s the tea, sis. All the shit that Ninty had in their corner of E3. It’s a pretty solid lineup! It looks like they are bringing their A-game. I was kind of surprised not to see any Pokemon stuff- while it usually gets its own direct these days, BDSP is really coming up soon and they kinda need to win back the crowd on that one.
Oh what am I saying, it’s fucking Nintendo, it’s too big to fail.

Okay I have so many thoughts I'm just gonna do point form
-ILLUMINA MY BELOVED 💜 Top 5 in almost every game, that's my streamer :')
-tubbo popping off in survival games?? 7th highest player and higher than Dream? Hugely underrated
-illumina not top 10 in grid runners or pkt - I've noticed his pkt running isn't always the best because sometimes he'll just stand and wait until the hunters almost on him before he decides which way to go and in my opinion (as someone who has never played before lol so take it with a grain of salt) it's not the best way to run
-apparently I need to watch fruits mcc17 battle box bc it's the one performance that was more cracked than Sapnaps battle box this mcc
-Krinios #1 grid runners player?? Okay pop off Krinios
-illumina #2 buildmart player??? Did not see that coming but okay we'll take it!!
-pete also on the top 10 buildmart players list??? Two pvp/movement players this is fascinating (now that I think about it though illumina is a speedrunner so his placement makes sense, idk about Pete though)
-illumina #1 rsr player???? WHAT
-did not expect captain Sparkles to be top 10 ace race, good for them!!
-dream only 8th in SOT and only twice on the best team performances list?? Did not see that coming, I would've placed him top 5 for sure
-the S-tiers Compared and Final Statistics pages??? LETS GO ILLUMINA
Big day for Illumina enjoyers 💜💜
im gonna respond to each point in point form too!!
- SO TRUE illumina is so good
- yes tubbo is very good!! he’d be much more proclaimed if he were more consistent in some of the other games, he’s also a EXCELLENT rsr player
- DOES HE OMG that’s the same juking attempt thing dream does that gets him killed all the damn time they need to both run the course

- i think u mean
 sky battle
? or survival games? bc battle box wasn’t played in mcc17
- lets go krinios!!
- illumina’s great at build mart, he’s a very fast crafter and he works very efficiently even on his own :)
- yes pete’s always been good at buildmart!! ifl the best S tiers at build mart r pete and illumina, do u remember the one time dream watched pete’s build mart and was like ‘wym this game is about team comms pete barely talked and just did that by being good at the game??’ Also yes pete is a speedrunner :) he does 1.16 speedruns im p sure
- YES OFC HE IS illumina also has the highest RSR score which he set in mcc20 :) 693 i think
- captainsparklez is p cracked at ace race!! part of the reason why mcc15 yellow has the highest team score ever for ace race s2
- dream’s SoT score is deflated bc of instances like mcc17 and the fact that they nerfed SoT coins in mcc21 and 22
unfortunately mcc17 and mcc20 (which dream 1. Died in and 2. Didn’t participate in) had the MOST inflated coins in SoT for the entire season. and compared to many of the players who ‘beat’ dream in SoT averages, they have played WAY less mccs than him. less mccs = less opportunities to fuck up SoT! as it stands, dream is the best at SoT, when you take into account other factors that aren’t just raw coin averages
- ok but how hilarious is it that illumina has zero s2 wins
my poor guy u’ll get it soon
