One of the first things Farrah tells Annleigh is that she’s sorry and she was trying to be better. Annleigh apologizes too. Tears are shed and they talk for hours.

They both go to therapy for obvious reasons, and it helps them both a lot

After Farrah heals and gets discharged from the hospital, she and Chess both go to rehab. While she’s doing that, Annleigh confronts her stepdad about not intervening sooner.

Recovery is not easy, but Annleigh is Farrah’s biggest supporter

While recovering, Farrah realizes that there are some people on the team she owes an apology to, so she sends each of them a long text doing just that. Annleigh helps her figure out the wording to these texts.

One of the reasons Farrah always had her hair in braids before is because her hair is pretty long, and having it in braids was the easiest way to have it out of her face/held back when she was throwing up after drinking too much. But after she gives it up, she doesn’t need to do that anymore, so Annleigh does it in all sorts of different styles. Annleigh realizes that she loves doing people’s hair and decides to become a hair stylist professionally.

They like to watch “sister” movies (Secret of the Wings, Frozen, etc.), and whenever the sisters are on screen, they’re like “HEY LOOK IT’S US”

They proceed to dress up as Tinkerbell (Annleigh) and Periwinkle (Farrah) for Halloween. Clark dresses up as Terrence.

SPEAKING OF CLARK, he and Annleigh get married (ofc) and Farrah is the maid of honor

They both have nightmares (again, for obvious reasons) and when they do, they go into the other one’s room to talk.

Farrah goes to church with Annleigh once in a while. Not because she’s a believer or anything, but she knows that church and religion is something that Annleigh cares about a lot

In return, Annleigh gives Farrah’s favorite music a try. And now they jam out to Olivia Rodrigo together.

Farrah wants to be a songwriter, and Annleigh is the first person that Farrah shows her projects to.

One of the (many many) reasons I love Frozen so much is because of how much it modernises the Disney fairytale without completely throwing it over it's head either.

Like yes, it shits on the idea of love at first sight and how not to blindly give your hand to someone you barely know. But it also shows how there's nothing wrong with quickly clicking with someone and testing the waters of a relationship with them. And to the people who claim Anna getting with Kristoff "goes against the message of the movie", please, tell me you understand the difference between getting engaged and sharing a kiss...

It shows the importance of familial love, which is without a doubt THE main plot point of the (first) movie, without shitting on romance as a whole. Anna is never forced to choose between family and romance, her happy ending is being able to have both (this is also one of the reasons why I hate F2's ending, but this is a post praising F1, I don't have the mental energy to shit on F2 right now).

Also, I swear, if I have to hear one more person say "Anna chose Elsa over Kristoff" in the climax I'm going to scream. Anna chose Elsa's life over her own life by protecting Elsa instead of going to Kristoff for a true love's kiss.

Wheter that kiss would've worked or not is another discussion entirely, point is Anna assumed it would've worked, so she was totally aware she was giving up her chance to live to save Elsa. That is NOT the same as her "choosing Elsa over Kristoff" and looking at this scene like that is so insulting to Anna's sacrifice.

Either way, just give me more media about family AND romance, because too much media focused on family acts like you need to give up/not care about romance in other to achieve happy/healthy family dynamics.

I’m sooo late to the party but for a whole week now I’ve been utterly obsessed with @therentyoupay & @callimara’s incrediblely beautiful “more than you know” Jelsa story. These pieces are unfinished, but I haven’t thought of anything else literally all week. 😭

so I watched this video and whilst it does bring up some valid points I have to heavily disagree with how mirabel was mentioned

she’s only mentioned maybe twice and referred to by Jared’s description of “imperfect weird and quirky” leaving out the obvious “deeply emotional and empathetic” that often follows that in the official description.

whilst she explains a lot about how moana, Anna and rapunzel act mirabel just seemed like a “let’s add her in because it says quirky” what everyone forgets is mirabel as a character is insecure. like extremely insecure to the point she values a candle over her own life. her “adorkableness” is a facade, a front, something she uses to try seem interesting to ppl and to hide her true feelings of inadequacy and failure that she’s had for a decade.

also worth mentioning whilst I agree with some of the heroines not taking dangerous or stressful situations seriously, mirabel definetly does. Even something as minor as the failed proposal dinner you see her not cracking jokes but desperate to explain that it’s not her fault. You see several times she risks her own life not because she was told to “save the miracle” but because she herself chooses to. You also see mirabel push away her own feelings to comfort other people and she takes it seriously!

she’s a smart girl! she’s clumsy because her dads clumsy not because it makes her “cute”. In fact I would also argue whilst for a lot of these characters they are likable to people around them for this reason mirabel is not. The townspeople keep rubbing her biggest insecurity in her face and she’s told to stay out of the way constantly. Like half of this movie was mirabel being scrutinized for just being herself!

I do agree with some points in the video but like if you’re going to have miss madrigal in the thumbnail I would assume she would have been a big talking point like asha and rapunzel were

I often wonder about the quote-unquote logistics of Corvo the Black/Emily the Butcher endings. Emily makes more sense to me, in a way, carving her way through the empire only to come back with blood caked under her fingernails and realising that she did everything her father refused to do 15 years ago. but why did Corvo have a similar choice?

what happens to the statues later? does Emily keep her father trapped in stone? does Corvo look at his daughter, frozen in the moment and considers freeing her? is he at his deathbed when he finally reaches out and cups Emily's cheek, freeing her into a carcass of an empire that he gutted for her, in her name, in the name of her mother?

when I first heard of the endings I thought that if you reach very high chaos, you are locked into this choice - Corvo or Emily tries to free the other and the stone just doesn't budge. they are trapped. the quest is over but the world knows that the bloodshed was extreme and this is the punishment they have to face
