Idina Menzel hasn't received the Frozen 3 script yet | Latest Updates

Frozen 3 seems to still be in its early stages of production with a script still being worked in and hence the cast would not have received a script.

In an interview with Parade’s exclusive cover story (read the brief version here), Idina states:

“I think it's happening, but that's all I know. I haven't read any scripts or anything, but I look forward to reuniting with my entire Frozen family and getting in that creative space and getting to get in the studio and find Elsa’s voice again.”

I'm sure most of you would have assumed this anyway otherwise we would have known when the voice acting is taking place but still an update on where the production currently stands, being early stages.

I assume voice acting will be by the end of this year going into next year? Just me guess here. But it's good to see they're taking their time with the script because the quality of the plot matters.

Elsa, Anna, and Four!! It is actually a miracle I got this one done lol; as you can imagine, life has been pretty hectic! I had a lot of fun doing Anna and Elsa's outfits, and I choose to portray them after the first movie, because (hot take) I didn't like the ending of the second movie 😅 Also, I think their original outfits are more recognizable and more fun to do 😁

I think Four would get along great with Anna and Elsa; not only do they personify teamwork and learning to love people who are different from you, which is very important to Four, but I imagine they would also treat him like a little brother and accept him quickly. Furthermore, Elsa would understand him and give him advice regarding his secret of the true power of the Four Sword. And in regards to Anna, her childlike, energetic personality would probably remind Four a lot of both his Zelda and of the Minish.

Anna is extremely welcoming and her contagious smile would probably cheer up Four, and I imagine that he sees semblances of Elsa and Anna's personality traits in himself (Vio like Elsa and Red like Anna). I also think that they would be understanding regarding all the trials he went through during his adventures, and Four would love having two honorary big sisters!! I hope you all like it!! 🩵🩵🩵

Even if that's true, that's not necessarily a bad thing, at least not this time it shouldn't. I still believe it is worth the wait. Because they're being careful with this and trying to be sure that fans get what they want, given the question board during D23.

Jennifer Lee didn't have much time on her hands back then anyway as she was CCO of WDAS, but now that's she not it means she'll have more time on making the movie than 2. So that's probably what they mean by “more time”. Jennifer Lee was the director of 2 too so she had to obviously check everything and with her limited time there was only so much she could do and focus on finishing the script. But with more time on her hands she can check everything and finish the writing in time.

I don't think it's about quantity but rather quality. We can only say for sure it's worth the wait once we see the movie.

Josh Gad believes Frozen 3 is worth the wait in a recent podcast | Latest Updates | News

In a People's article, it is revealed, when Josh Gad appeared in an episode of The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw podcast on SiriusXM, that Frozen 3, is coming out in 2027 for a reason because it's worth the wait. He obviously keeps tight lipped on the details of the movie due to being sworn to secrecy on, but here's what he is able to tell us:

“There’s a reason the movie is coming out in 2027. And that is because no one wants to rush this. Everyone wants this to not just be a sequel or a money grab. They want this to be absolutely worthy of the story we set out to make in 2013 (in the first Frozen movie). And we want to give audiences something that is worth the years of waiting and years of anticipation. And I know that they are actively working on that. And I know that they have a story that they are very, very, very excited about. And beyond that, I think I’ll have Disney lawyers knocking down my door. But buckle up because I think they have something incredible in store,”.

Reading this makes me really really excited because it builds up the anticipation and suspense of this new story. Some people think they're making another movie because of the money but that's not it - they said it themselves before that they would only make a movie if they have a good story to tell.

I like how they're really learning from the main mistake of Frozen 2 which was rushing things. Back during the making of Frozen 2, Jennifer Lee was CCO Walt Disney Animation Studios as well as director of the movie, and that big role had her really busy and unable to allow her to have her full focus and attention on the story of the sequel and hence rushed it last minute making decisions without thinking them through. That was the main reason Frozen 2 isn't as liked as the first movie. But this time, Jennifer Lee has quit the role of CCO, passing it to someone else, in order to have her full focus on Frozen 3 and 4. That's why I'm positive about the upcoming movies, despite how Frozen 2's situation. The few years long production of the new movies gives them enough time to focus on the details and think thoroughly about each decision they make for the movie.

I don't expect everyone to read this and be 100% positive about it because I understand you'd still want to remain cautious about it and see if it's worth the wait yourselves, and I totally respect that. I too am remaining cautious and keeping my extreme excitement for when we see the trailer and get our first looks on it. But I do hope this gives a little bit of relief to those who are really worried about the movie.

More stuff for my Frozen Sonic au

This au is heavily inspired by Frozen, taking some similar story beats from the movie. Tails is pretty much the role of Anna in the au. When Sonic's powers start to get out of control, he accidentally hits Tails with his ice powers, causing him to have a white streak of fur on his ear.

Not wanting to hurt Tails again, Sonic runs away, but in the process his emotions accidentally set off an eternal winter.

Tails sets off to find Sonic, both to help his older brother and to put an end to the eternal winter.
