can’t help but think of how, if we choose to go by sirius’ characterisation as a private, arrogant teen who only lets a select few into his circle, sirius’ post-azkaban life just have been such an utterly humiliating experience for him.

especially OoTP. when he has all these near strangers in his childhood house, that he hated and loved and ran away from and couldn’t ever escape. if he spent his entire pre-azkaban existence building a cold and aloof persona, not letting people know what his home life had been like, then to have all of these people get a front row seat to it because of kreacher and portrait walburga’s shenanigans must have been near unbearable. to have the entire order, including snape whom he disliked and mistrusted, hear the kinds of names he’s being called.

not only does he have to deal with the retraumatisation of his childhood, but also the fact that he’s flayed open for everyone to see. it’s not only his freedom, innocence, dignity that has been snatched from him but his privacy also. it’s such a cruel thing to experience, on top of everything else.

to have literal children, his godson who he has been kept away from all this while, whom he presumably wants to be able to look up to him, to have him see into the deepest parts of his soul. to have to be so weak in front of him. not only is he subjected to such vileness but he also cannot do anything about it.

sirius has not had a moment of peace in all the time we knew him. it is indignity upon indignity that is heaped onto him. every other character has gotten a moment of respite but him. it fully breaks my heart.

(the jason one is in reference to the fanon headcanon/au that Jason and Damian potentially knew each other and interacted while jason was in the league. I've thought about it before in context of this au, but haven't thought about it enough to feel inspired or motivated to make a post exploring the idea)

(diablito means, as you can guess, 'little devil'. while i'm neutral to latino jason, i think the nickname is cute as fuck and was danny's main nickname from Jason. i don't wanna touch that timeline so im not gonna decide how old they were when Jason was there.)

anyways that was the day that Skulker cemented himself as Danny's no.1 opp, and still remains there to this day even if he and Vlad are both viciously fighting for second. Out of everyone in the the AP rogues gallery, Skulker will be the first to be thrown under the bus in terms of 'o shit here comes phantom fucking RUN'.

My folks took me and my beloved wife out to dinner last night for my birthday.

My mom offered to get my wife and I tickets to go see Wicked which I’m absolutely delighted by. I haven’t seen it since 2008 in London and we got great seats. We also invited my dad along because he actually likes musicals unlike my mom.

I tried to tell my folks I have a book that got printed and my mom talked over me to show the table her earring instead. I subsided in disappointment that my achievement was less important to her than showing off her earring.

Later she texted me apologizing and asking to hear more about it, and that was really nice but my feelings are still a bit hurt. On the whole though between Wicked tickets and the apology I’m calling it a net positive dinner.

bakugou for the character ask game?

Truly the teenage boy, shonen deuteragonist, love interest coded, gay asshole, of all time.

My first impression - Woah I did not understand why people were so into this guy. Like I get it, he's a flawed and loud pretty boy, he gets character development, and probably gay, but seriously him??? His mouth is so fucking foul and he is so up his ass. - I was meh with this character, enjoyed him in fan content, but just did not get why people were sooo into this guy.

My impression now - I cried in "Light Fades To Rain". Twice. - My god his growth...his will, his persistence, and by god his love for Izuku is so ridiculous and powerful I just cannot help but admire the little shithead. - He is also a lot more to me than I expected, with the whole "foul mouth shit", "high expectations bullshit", "violent urges", and "dedicating your whole life and love to someone you love and admire" and that...that makes me feel quite conflicted.

Favorite thing about that character - The thing about Bakugou is that...you just cannot help but wish you had the same kind of persistence, strength, will, and power that he does. I love how all this is initially so shallow and selfish, then grows to wanting to be a better and truer hero. He really learns and changes and is just an unstoppable force of nature, it's genuinely incredible and beautiful to watch.

Least favorite thing - I wished that the overall writing did go harder in making him stop bad-mouthing people and...everything so much. You can tell he did grow to respect and care for people around him more, but by gods he is sooo bad at communicating his feelings right now. (tbf, he is so fucking young and traumatized) - Also, really please stop hitting people. I get a knee-jerk reaction to that kind of physical violence sometimes ngl.

Favorite line/scene - There are so many. I already mentioned his death in "Light Fades to Rain" so I'll mention a different one - Team Bakugou in Class A vs B was so goddamn good, for being a monumental milestone of his character. How much he trusted his teammates and put himself in danger to save others, winning in the end. No injuries, no failures, truly a perfect beautiful victory. How he also pushes Deku to keep getting better afterwards in his usual constipated-ass language too. Man I just love that battle to death.

Favorite interaction that character has with another - (me pulling out scenes that aren't bkdk centered here hahaha) - I fucking LOVED the Bakugou vs Ochako fight. It made me love Ochako so so much as a kid. I really wished we had a follow-up to that battle, and it genuinely changed my life. - I love how it really shows just how focused and rational he is in battle. How he truly respects his opponents, Ochako in this case, and the sports festival really establishes so much about him.

A character that I wish that character would interact with more - Speaking of which...OCHAKO VS BAKUGO 2 COME ONNNN - There is SO MUCH these two need to talk about. How to save people, who they want to save, who saved them, never underestimating each other, how they changed and grew. I just love these two characters to bits, that's why I need them to FIGHT AND TALK SO BADDDD - Additional: Also Toga (see my post on Toga right before this one lmao), Shoto (because I still don't really get their friendship but its hilarious, and I love Shoto)

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character - I legit cannot think of anything here...like for Toga...I am so sorry my brain is blanking T__T - It's hard to be a massive anger-issue filled, victory-focused, die for their lover (twice), amazing chef, all at once, kinda guy...you know?

A headcanon about that character - I am a believer in trans!fem Bakugo in the future. He's so ridiculously angry for some reason, voice always cracking, and just on-edge for some reason. Idk I just think its hilarious and satisfying if he transed his gender in the future and became happier and more comfortable.

An unpopular opinion about that character - Like Toga, he actually isn't possessive. I think he quite well understands and accepts that Izuku is a very loving person that many people are easily drawn to (I mean, he'd be a hypocrite if he didn't understand that). - He is protective instead of possessive. He keeps an eye out for anything and anyone who could possibly actually hurt Izuku, but he doesn't hold him back at all in hanging around with others, and when other people fall for Izuku either. - He is actually quite skinny, and doesn't have the big thick buff guy build. Those go to Izuku and Iida more imo.

Favorite picture - I never really thought of this much??? I love art of him being softer, more solemn, quiet and contemplative even. I guess I'll go pick out some favs right now...

The age-gaps and flaunting is SO perfect. Imagine how scandalous it would be. Going out completely covered in teeth marks and hickeys. Imagine being in public with him like that and just running into anyone you know. He would purposely be awful and embarrassing

He would thrive off embarrassing you in public. I’d imagine he'd be a big fan of PDA, but not the cute hand-holding or arm around your waist. It would be more of the tongue in your ear and teeth on your neck. Constantly clinging to you, nails digging into your sides. He would pretty much just be your shadow, hugging you from behind. You would have to learn to move as one, very rarely do you go out and he’s not attached at the hip. He marks you up pretty well, and thrives off the attention he gets when you wear low-cut shirts. He enjoys showing you off, pretty young thing you are. 

If you run into someone you know, it's not a good time for you. He will do everything in his power to fluster you and gross the other person out. He would be an absolute menace! He would be oddly possessive if the person was someone who he deemed as a threat. If he stepped away, and you started talking to them, he would come up behind you, brush your hair back and begin sucking on your neck. Nibbling at the flesh enough to make you gasp, lines of drool stretching between your skin and his mouth. Your acquaintance should be sufficiently horrified by that. You could just see the disgust in their expressions, the conversation completely stopped now. For finishing touches, Dale would start moaning, his hands coming up to grope at your breasts. They would make some excuse about having to leave and you would never see that acquaintance again.

If it was a family member, I'd imagine it would be more shameful. Kobble is not the type of man to bring home to meet the parents. Like maybe your family member sees you out in public and comes up to greet you. You can tell they keep glancing at Dale strangely, and they seemed to be repulsed by the bites and marks littered on your skin. If it were me, I would want to minimize the contact as best as I could. Dale would pick up on that and make it even worse for you. He would introduce himself as your “lover” just to see the soft pity in their eyes as they look at you. Pulling back your hair so they can get a better look at the impressions, eager to show off the insinuation of what you let him do to you. It riles him up to see you shrink away from his touches, and try to cover what you can with your hand. All the more embarrassing if the relative is prudish, older or asks how you got those imprints. He will make lewd implications of how he made them, and how you sounded during the process. Relishing how your gaze drops to the floor, and your face starts burning crimson.
