Karui is a beige-furred, anthropomorphic kangaroo with gold eyes, a small brown nose, and a white-furred muzzle with black painted stripes under her eyes. She has triangular ears with creamy beige-colored canals on top of her head and brown markings at the tips of it, one short eyelash on each side of her eyes, and a long tail. She has back-length hair that resemble Knuckles' quills done up in a high ponytail with a tribal green scarf tied with yellow details and a few large bangs on her forehead.

For attire, Karui wears a distressed gray crop top stitched which revealed her midriff, a sash that wraps around her skirt made out of shredded Pandanas and layered Tapa. She also wears dark brown sports tape on arms and legs. Up that all she wears a green poncho with yellow details just like her scarf tied.

::Personality::

Karui is a tomboyish, tough-as-nails warrior. Initially, she was a bit of a loner and somewhat defensive with strangers; being quite combative, outspoken, stubborn, and impulsive.

However, she eventually warmed up to the concept of friendship and became more sociable and positive as a result of her new relationships. Showing that through her tough exterior lies a heart of gold, and underneath it all, she's a girl who would do anything for her family and friends.

::Powers and abilities::

Geokinesis/Terrakinesis: Karui has the exceptionally strong elemental ability to create, control and manipulate the earth and other earthly substances and materials; such as sand, stone, rock, dirt and mud. She can hurl and lift boulders, generate earthquakes, mudslides, avalanches, fissures, project spikes of stone from the ground and tunnel through the earth.

Karui often transports herself and others by riding on a large slab of earth. She can change earthen matter from one state to another (such as shifting mud into solid stone). When using her powers, her hands will emit a yellow aura. She generally uses the motions of her hands to navigate her powers, though she can move earth through sheer concentration alone.

Bōjutsu: Karui was trained by her uncle, Mohatu, in the use of the bō, in which she twirls, swings and stabs like a spear. Her Hardwood Bo fight style is more on defense than offense, she makes use of her bō's versatile nature to block as well as counterattack. Despite this, she also able to deliver powerful strikes.

::Weaknesses::

Suffering from mild hemophobia, Karui get uncomfortable when faced with blood. If the amount of blood is large, she may even faint.

She also suffers from Pagophobia, an extreme fear of ice, which is perhaps her greatest weakness after having a near-death experience with it.

Her behavior also proved to be a problem most of the time, causing her to make irrational decisions.

::Backstory::

Before being dominated by the Eggman empire, Karui had been born in Mystic Jungle, to the northern kangaroo tribe. There were legends about their species that said that many centuries ago, kangaroos were blessed with the physical presence of mother nature on earth; a deity of light who traveled across the globe and watched over the many different environments she would encounter.

Along with its inhabitants, she kept all of nature in balance and the natural cycle of life under her protection at all times. After traveling the world, she'd sleep inside a giant tree for a full thousand years, where she regains her power to spread energy across the planet and in turn, would regenerate that energy and release it to spread new plant life in the surrounding area while she was unconscious.

Inside this tree, this deity would transform into a small, vibrant green stone while in her sleep period. After a thousand years had passed, she would return to her original form and remain awake for seven days before settling on another planet and sleeping again. She would do this process with all the planets she had passed before aswell.

It was then that one day the kangaroo clan found this giant tree and decided to build their civilization around it, treating it as their guardian and deity for a long time. But there were others who tried to invade and take over the deity stone that rested inside the tree and the clan always got involved in wars and conflicts to prevent the power of mother nature from falling into the wrong hands, and this lasted for generations.

It was then that half of the clan got tired of all this and of so many conflicts over a ''plant'', but the other half of the clan disagreed with this thought and wanted to continue protecting the tree, which caused a great conflict between its members, and the kangaroos who disagreed with this way of life separated from the northern tribe, creating the southern tribe.

Years after this incident, when Karui was 7 years old, she had gone on a hunting trip with her uncle, Mohatu for three days, without imagining what would happen. When they returned, they found their village completely destroyed and the tree in pieces with several robot wreckages lying around, with no survivors in sight. Mohatu searched the rubble for any sign of survivors or the stone, but found nothing until Karui called him towards her home. There her parents were dead, but inside her mother's pouch glowed a green light that they immediately recognized as the nature's stone. Mohatu deduced that his sister, Kya, had found the stone amidst the chaos that had occurred and hid it in her pouch, a place no one would think to look. After that, Mohatu decided to leave with Karui, along with the stone to the southern tribe, hoping that their former companions would have mercy and let them live with them.

::Relationships::

Mohatu (her uncle): Karui's relationship with her uncle, Mohatu, is the cornerstone of her life, shaped by both tragedy and unwavering support. After Eggman's ruthless attack on their village, which left their entire tribe decimated, Mohatu became Karui's guardian, mentor, and sole family. The destruction of their home and the loss of their loved ones created a deep bond between them, one forged in the fires of adversity and strengthened by their shared determination to survive.

Mohatu, a seasoned warrior and master of Bōjutsu, dedicated himself to raising Karui with the skills and resilience needed to navigate their harsh world. He trained her in the art of combat, teaching her how to wield the bō staff with precision and agility. Through grueling training sessions, he instilled in her the values of discipline, strength, and perseverance. Yet, beyond the rigorous training, Mohatu provided Karui with a sense of stability and love, offering wisdom and comfort whenever she struggled with the weight of their past.

Karui, in turn, held immense respect and admiration for her uncle. His unwavering strength and commitment to her well-being became a source of inspiration. Despite his stoic exterior, Mohatu's deep care for Karui was evident in every lesson and every word of encouragement. She cherished the stories he shared about their tribe, learning about their rich history and traditions, which fueled her desire to honor their legacy.

Their bond was not without its challenges. Karui's impulsive nature and desire to prove herself often led to clashes with Mohatu's more measured approach. However, these moments of tension were always tempered by their deep mutual understanding and love. I have read a very unique theories that the actual child of Satine and Obi is Bo-Katan and not Korkie! That is why Obi didn’t know a thing about a “sister” and the fact that Bo is way younger than Satine.

Hi, piccola! Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, I fear I will make you regret it because I can offer no encouragement or enjoyment of this theory. In fact, I think it's a load of poodoo.

Ironically, you may have originally heard of the theory from me. I made a post that did some good numbers on Twitter and tumblr, but it was meant sarcastically, and I'll explain why.

The only reason it exists is that Jon Favreau decided The Mandalorian would be set all the way in 9/10 ABY. Season 1 premiered and then Katee Sackhoff gave Dave Filoni the idea to include her as live-action Bo-Katan in Season 2. Katee (starting in her early 30s) voiced Bo-Katan in TCW. When she first appeared, the story was in the year 20 BBY. That means there are 30 years in between her first appearance in The Clone Wars and her first appearance in The Mandalorian.

I understand why you said, "Bo is way younger than Satine." Katee actually said the same thing. She's the one who estimated that Bo is about "47 to 51" (like I wrote in that Twitter post). But that's not how Bo-Katan was designed. Dave Filoni designed Bo and Satine to be twins or very close to twins. In 2013, Filoni made several comments about how in his mind, something formative happened in Bo and Satine's backstories when they were both six years old.

So if they're twins, how old are the Kryze sisters?

Obi-Wan Kenobi is 38 years old at the end of The Clone Wars. Satine is close to his age because we know that they fell in love while they were on the run for a year. Thus Bo must also be in her mid-late 30s in TCW. And that's how it was *always* presented ... until The Mandalorian (In Rebels they added prominent forehead wrinkles to her design in the assumption that she was in her 50s, and that's only set in 1 BBY).

Plus, it also makes zero sense because if Satine is in her late 30s and Bo-Katan is 20 years younger (to make the Bo-Katan Kenobi theory possible), then this line is pretty dumb.

"There was a time when we weren't enemies. Remember when I was 30 and you were 10?"

Silly.

There are other reasons why the Young Bo theory falls apart, like the fact that Satine's father is killed before she meets Obi-Wan, but in The Mandalorian, Bo-Katan recalls that her father was with her when she swore the Creed. So she can't actually be that much younger than Satine. There is simply no way that she is not at least 60 years old in The Mandalorian, and given that I subscribe to the Kryze Twins assumption, I lean more toward her being about 68 or so.

All that is to say that I definitely don't subscribe to either the Young Bo theory or the Bo-Katan Kenobi theory and truly wish that there were no basis for either one, even if that means wishing Katee (who's awesome) never showed up as Bo (who's awesome) in The Mandalorian.

And it really makes me sad that in the name of justifying having Katee play her character 30 years into the future (and erasing all mention of Satine), they have now implicitly deprived Satine of having her sister in her life in all her years growing up. Satine is a character who already has so few canon relationships, and they removed her only living family member from her generation. It just makes me sad on Satine's behalf and Bo-Katan's behalf as well.

🦋 ¡Witam skarby! 🦋

Jakby ja się wam mogę pochwalić. Zjadłam mniej niż wczoraj, a w dodatku byłam na rowerze 🥳. Kocham jeździć na rowerze. Na prawdę kocham. Od dziecka to uwielbiam i to pozostaje niezmienne. Nawet nie wiedziałam, że to tyle kcal spala. Ale skoro już wiem i mierzy mi to opaska to jest bailando. W zeszłym roku praktycznie codziennie jeździłam na rowerze po ok. 15km i nie chudłam, pewnie dlatego, że jadłam jak świnia. W każdym razie nie mogłam się doczekać aż w końcu wsiądę na rower po zimie. Znowu będę mega często jeździć jak będę miała wolne. Miałam dzisiaj nie jechać, ale pojechałam bo przyjaciółki chciały. A jutro rano też do nich jadę. A później przyjedzie do mnie BESTIE 😍. Mega się cieszę bo dawno się nie widziałyśmy.

Dokańczając o tym co dzisiaj robiłam, to jak zwykle sprzątałam cały dom. I jeszcze wieczorem byłam w kościele (nie chciało mi się strasznie) bo mama stwierdziła, że wszyscy idziemy. I w ogóle mam fasta od 14. I tu wleci 20h bo dłużej nie dam rady (jestem pilnowanw i te sprawy).

Ja oglądałem to za dzieciaka i byłem targetem dla tych wstawek typu Wes i dzieci. I to chyba wtedy działało. Idiotyzm takiej nieletniej postaci na mostku i inne konsekwencje fabularne z nepotyzmu to załapałem wtórnie znacząco później. I sam się z tego dziś śmieję, ale był też i taki moment, że załapałem, że wszyscy fani Treka nie cierpią synka doktorki a ja nie kumam dlaczego. 🙂

Ledsbourne: „Szkoda, że nie było cameo Wesleya w trzecim sezonie PIC. Problem z dziecięcymi aktorami jest taki, że nie wiadomo, na co wyrosną. Wesley był tragiczny jako nastolatek (ale teraz hWil hWheaton jest spoko)”.

Zawsze jeszcze mogą zrobić czwarty sezon PIC i Wesley będzie nieślubnym dzieckiem JLP. 🙂

Pora na powrót 🦋

Żal zawiodłam ane i zdecydowałam się zadbać o zdrowie, ale minął rok i znowu tu jestem. Czy ktoś z motylków bierze leki antykoncepcyjne lub/i ma PCOS? Nie mogę przestać brać tych tabsow bo kurwa mam jebane 19 lat a trądzik jak zaśmiecony nastolatek wpierdalajacy ciągle fast foody i słodycze. Ale odkąd je biorę mój apetyt ⬆️ i moja waga⬆️.

Z tego kurwa wszystkiego dobilam 68. Kurwa 68 jebanych kg. Najgorszy okres mojego jebanego życia, nigdy nie spodziewałam się że będę wazyc prawie 7dych. Kurwa żenada w chuj. Ale teraz mam zdwojoną motywację i nie poddam się aż do osiągnięcia sukcesu. Lol wyprowadziłam się, więc teraz to już nikt mnie nie może pilnować.

Podolskie korzenie panienek: część 1 rozprawy

Musimy porozmawiać o przeszłości Basi Jeziorkowskiej i Krzysi Drohojowskiej z Pana Wołodyjowskiego (czytaj: nie musimy, ale mnie się za bardzo nudzi w życiu żebym mogła zostawić w spokoju ten temat). 

Zastanawialiście się nad losami Basi i Krzysi przed rokiem 1668? Jasne, że nie, tak samo zresztą jak ich autor. O rodzinach dziewczyn dowiadujemy się z materiału źródłowego tyle, że nie żyją. Najwyraźniej co do ostatniego członka, ponieważ opiekę nad dwiema pannami na wydaniu sprawuje para zupełnie niespokrewnionych (czyżby…?) z nimi ludzi. Ale po kolei.

Basia i Krzysia na początku fabuły książki mają po około 18 lat, są gotowe do zamążpójścia, o rękę Basi starali się już nawet trzej kandydaci (a przynajmniej o tylu wiemy). Jeżeli założymy, że dziewczyny są rówieśniczkami, to urodzić by się mogły w 1649 lub 1650 roku. Aby ułatwić sobie dalsze kalkulacje przyjmę, że obie są z 1650 roku, bo to bardziej okrągła data. A zatem panny przyszły na świat w połowie XVII wieku. 

Dalej dowiadujemy się, iż pochodzą z Rusi. Ruś to mało konkretne słowo opisujące spory obszar, jednak z pomocą przychodzi pewne określenie, które pada kilka razy w początkowych rozdziałach powieści: latyczowskie (czy też latyczowskiem). Pada ono m.in. z ust samego pana Zagłoby:

“Dla Boga! Chyba same amazonki w Latyczowskiem mieszkają”. Narrator określa również tym mianem postać stolnikowej: “Zagłoba z rozpromienionym obliczem przysiadł się znów do pani stolnikowej latyczowskiej.”

Czymże jest owo latyczowskie? Pewności nie mam, gdyż swoje śledztwo oparłam na źródłach internetowych. Jednak jeśli pójdziemy najpewniejszym i najbardziej oczywistym tropem, natrafimy na Latyczów – małe miasteczko, obecnie na terenie Ukrainy, mieszczące się w obwodzie chmielnickim, które od XV wieku było ważnym dla Rzeczpospolitej miejscem. Jak podaje Wikipedia: “[Latyczów] był miejscem, drugim w województwie po Kamieńcu Podolskim, w którym odbywały się szlacheckie sądy grodzkie i sądy ziemskie.”. Położone było w granicach naszego kraju w województwie podolskim. Na tym etapie można spokojnie założyć, że właśnie o to miejsce chodzi Sienkiewiczowi. Dziewczyny pochodziły zatem z Podola. 

Podole w XVII wieku było obszarem, przez który przetaczały się i ścierały najróżniejsze wojska. W kontekście Latyczowa za czasów młodości dziewczyn, zacząć należy od powstania Chmielnickiego, które wybuchło w 1648 roku, czyli przed ich domniemanymi narodzinami. Później nałożyło się na siebie kilka konfliktów zbrojnych, m.in. wojna z Rosją (początek: 1654 r.), potop szwedzki (początek: 1657 r.) czy walki z Jerzym II Rakoczym. W 1657 roku na terenie Podola miała miejsce bitwa pod Czarnym Ostrowem. Zapytacie “a co to ma wspólnego z tematem?”. Cóż, Czarny Ostrów jest oddalony od Latyczowa o 75 km, co nie jest bardzo małą, ale również nie bardzo dużą odległością. Bardzo możliwe, że pan Jeziorkowski, pan Drohojowski, a nawet stolnik Makowiecki walczyli w tej bitwie (zwłaszcza, iż ojciec Basi był, jak to ujęła stolnikowa “komisarzem do rozgraniczenia Podola, któren był potem, jeśli się nie mylę, i miecznikiem podolskim.��). W zależności od naszej fantazji i widzimisię pan Jeziorkowski mógł nawet w owej bitwie zginąć, gdyż jego córka była już wtedy na świecie, ba, miała nawet 7 lat. Ale do wątku umierających ojców jeszcze wrócimy. 

Po wszystkich tych ekscesach wojskowych Latyczów był w ruinie. Jak podaje Wikipedia:

“Wg opisu z lustracji z 1658 roku „Starostwo z miastem teraz całe spustoszone i zdezelowane, a dlatego, że na samym szlaku zostawa, którym gościńcem każden nieprzyjaciel chodzi.“

Ponadto miasto położone było na tzw. czarnym szlaku – był to jeden z trzech głównych szlaków, którymi Tatarzy najeżdżali polskie ziemie. Z tego powodu miasto było wielokrotnie przez nich palone. aaaa moja mama kupiła mi dzisiaj gorące kubki knorr! zupełnie o nich zapomniałam, moja ulubiona pomidorowa ma 68 kcal😩 więc mam dziś 142 kcal bo jako że te zupki wgl nie mają wartości odżywczych to dodaje do nich sera pleśniowego (jak zupka jest jeszcze gorąca żeby się rozpuścił) i wtedy mam więcej białka i jestem dłużej syta😻

Dzień 68

Przeskok jeśli chodzi o dni i przyznaje że wszystko zepsułam... Miałam serie napadów i to potężnych... Nie chce stawać na wagę nie chce wiedzieć ile ważę bo psychicznie i fizycznie czuję się fatalnie. Zastanawiam się co się stało że te napady z tak wielką mocą wróciły. Dawno nie miałam takich stanów depresyjnych i jeśli chodzi o jedzenie. Na dodatek rozłożyła mnie choroba i myślałam że apetyt będzie mniejszy a jest duży.

Plan na chwilę obecną mam taki by jeść swoje zapotrzebowanie czyli 1800kcal i poczekać aż się ustabilizuje zdrowie a od kwietnia wrócić do odchudzania i potraktować ten miesiąc jako ostatnią szansę na bycie choć trochę chudszą w te wakacje.
