(I hope this is okay to send but this feels like an appropriate space to let this out) I was already worried when Arcane became canon and most people (except the small group of actual league lore fans) were mostly happy and I think at the time I could almost forgive people dismissing lore fans concerns by claiming Arcane would be approvement over the current lore, because I do genuinely like Arcane season 1 and I understood where they were coming from. But now that season 2s out and it sucks and the viktor vgu's out and I see every arcane fan praise it despite not actually playing league, I just feel so upset? Like I understood defending Arcane's canonicity and overhauling the main lore when only season 1 was out because at least Arcane was actually pretty good but now, not only does it suck but it also just alters things about canon?? Like great, old viktors just gone now and I feel like everyone I see online is cheering or acting like you're a homophobe if you don't like him. Like sorry, as a bi twink, I still think his VGU sucks and is a massive downgrade and that his skins shouldn't have been changed so heavily (i wish they at least preserved the original look through a skin or something)
Thank you for your work . Looking at your blogs made me feel a lot better and I really appreciate the archiving
Hi, thanks for the ask! And yeah, totally fine to send stuff like this here.
I know exactly what you mean about being worried from the point of Arcane becoming canon, I’ve kind of felt a looming sense of dread about this IP since then and a sort of “...There’s no way they actually go through with it, right?” just because it causes so many logistical issues for a lore that's been built on top of over the years and to change that foundation is.... tricky, to say the least.
I think from the end of arcane 1 there was a possibility of a machine herald overhaul that, yk i wouldn’t be happy with but would be tantamount to the 2011 into 2016 rework where he still maintains the characteristics of being an engineer cyborg and whatnot. And I’d be like “Ok, now I’m in the same boat as the 2011’s, it happens, I’ll cope.”
But this overhaul into something just so completely unrelated, to the point they’re renaming him Herald of the Arcane… it feels bad! It feels really really bad! And like you said, seeing people praise it because they never gave a shit about Viktor and the space he occupies in league sucks major! It’s actively detrimental to the health of the overall lore because it’s going to be SO much work to retcon and many champions are getting caught in the crossfire! All this to try and cashgrab from arcanes!
And ur so right it's honestly so crazy to me the way people are defending the decision. As if it isnt so obviously a half-assed rush job to meet the Arcane deadline. Like. This rework is bad! It is incredibly lazy from the skins to the kit changes! And people are acting like it’s good like no way you consider this a successful rework right. They did fuckall to the kit and made most skins worse. You can ask for better I promise you. But yeah the terrain of the reception to this VGU is wild. Here's hoping we can get some kind of compromise.
And I'm glad the archive has helped. I know I've spent time just mashing the random post until I feel better. Really all I wanted was for this to be a resource for LeagueViktor fans and I'm happy it's doing that.

it disgusts me how gay stans are treating billie online. its no wonder so many bisexual women dont come out, or consider themselves to be “lesbians” (which is bad mind u, but thats a separate convo from this one). it seems to me that the “all bi girls are faking it for male approval” never actually went away, it just gets a new look every decade or so.

I'm talking about the bisexual women who take issue with the febfem label in general. Saying it implies that bisexual women are male centric or imply that their doing it to get lesbian approval
okay. I still have seen almost no bisexual women raising that point. Like I get that people will all have their own individual experiences online, but I haven't seen one single bi woman make this argument. Now, I've seen 'why does it need a label? febfems are just like any other bisexuals' but that is an entirely different focus, and it has a pretty simple answer. I don't really get the point of this.

Hey, don't do this shit:
normal person 1: This character canonically had a crush on both a male character and a female character, she is bisexual, not lesbian.
some gremlin: You are lesbophobic skill issue we just want to be happy imagine being pissed at us existing stay mad d*kehater!!!!
normal person 2: I am confused how this is lesbophobic to not approve of bi erasure in the fandom?
some gremlin: Well, you see, many of us struggled and are still struggling with comphet, just because this character dated or wanted to date a male character in the past doesn't mean that she can't be a lesbian afterwards! Maybe she just hadn't realised earlier! It is not fair to not let people use their own experiences to relate to a character they headcanon as a lesbian!
normal person 2: So, if a female character only ever expressed attraction to women in the canon, and someone who used to think they were a lesbian but turned out they were bi said that this female character is bisexual but just haven't realised it yet because they had such experience and can say so, would you respect their opinion? Or you would block them and accuse them of "lesbian erasure in the fandom"?
some gremlin:
some gremlin:
some gremlin: *delves down several months deep into normal person 1's online history to snatch something either heavily personal or violently torn from the context and no longer relevant to the topic in either case* HEY HEADS UP you're defending a problematic violently bigoted abusive person jsyk
________________
^ If you've lost an argument like this or similar one upon having your double standards exposed, and your reaction is not owning up to your mistake (or at least silently backing away, if you really feel SO ashamed now) but to switch onto irrelevant details about the person who brought up initial sentiment? You are genuinely awful ally for any activism, including the ones for your own demographic. In ideal world, fandomry should be exclusively about being a fan and not about activism, but since it is unavoidable anymore we at least must have bare minimum standards for logic and decency!
Acting like the Some Gremlin character proves that you do not actually care about the topic and your sole interest is to be "right", when debates and arguments exist with the purpose of finding the truth. It can be nice or it can be uncomfortable, it could confirm what you've already known or it could crumble your whole view. This is why the pursuit and the involvement of different people is so important, and this is why it is important that everyone participates in debates with only genuine intentions! If what you seek from debates is "winning" them and not discovering the facts, you need to really step away and reconsider. It is good if this issue only concerns things like headcanons, because what if you will carry this problem into more serious discussions with the stakes?

"gatekeeping" was coined/popularized to refer to transmisogynistic sexual abuse levied against trans women by their doctors to coerce them in exchange for approval and access to transition resources. very apt that you proudly claim to "gatekeep" now in your totally-not-a-crusade-against-transfems-who-step-out-of-line perpetual online breakdown. you don't seem like a safe person for trans women or any other women to be around
obviously medical gatekeeping is wrong. And you are right that this is the original definition within the lgbtq+ community. But if you not only read my blog, as well as look at how most other people within the community use that term, I'm not referring to medical gatekeeping. i'm referring to regular gatekeeping.
Also considering most "bi lesbians" are cisgender or afab nobinary bisexuals and most "trans man lesbians" are...trans men (and their supporters are TERFS but y'all can't have that conversation right now), how am I running a "crusade" against trans women?? Really?
My beloved mutuals and followers (many of which are trans women btw) understand what I mean because they have brains and understand my thought process. You're just looking to start a fight and can't even come off anon to tell me yourself. Pathetic.

Survival Fundraising for Disabled, Queer Siblings - Please Read (and Help)!
My sibling (Hem - a.k.a. rivalconga on Twitter) and I are disabled. Hem has a broken hip in need of a replacement they cannot yet get, POTS, HS, and an essential tremor. These conditions make it impossible for them to work outside of the home, and they have been applying for online WFH for many months. If you have WFH leads on transcription, data entry, or research work, please get in touch with them via the link to their Twitter, or hit me up here on Tumblr.
I just observed (in July) my 10th anniversary of a chronic congestive heart failure diagnosis, and I also am a fairly recently diagnosed T2D working on getting a good treatment regimen, and regularly require infusions of IV iron for lifelong iron-deficiency anemia that doesn't respond to oral iron supplements or dietary iron. I am also in the midst of trying to get an ADHD diagnosis.
I am unable to work, and I applied for SSDI in April, and was given my first denial in July, which happens in about 80% of SSDI cases. I am getting an attorney to appeal, but the process is slow. In the meantime, I'm not able to bring in income.
We do not have family to provide us with assistance, and we have extremely limited resources for help where we live. There are no homeless shelters here, and our state (Missouri) is openly hostile to LGBT+ and unhoused people. Also, most assistance here is tied to evangelical Christian organizations, and I am Jewish.
You can help us by spreading the word on your social media for us. If you can help us financially, even if only $1, please send aid to our payment apps:
Paypal - nivcharayahel
Venmo - heathmarie31 (This is Hem's account.)
CashApp - $heathmarie31
You can find direct links to these and my other social media at my Linktree:
Hem is also a budding artist, and is offering art for $10+ donations. Here's their Twiter thread for more details:
Tumblr media
Here are samples of their art (which are, IMO, way better than okay!):

If you're interested and you can't contact them on Twitter, get in touch with me here!
Until Hem gets work and/or I get my SSDI approved, we need about $1200 monthly to cover rent, groceries/household supplies, and Rx/over-the-counter medical expenses.
We also have an Amazon Wishlist if you'd prefer to help in that way. (Link coming soon--it is badly in need of an overhaul.)
Thank you so much for helping us survive!

I'm deeply sorry for coming off a rude. I was simply angry at the author for being a creep.
I also want to assure You that I didnt create an alternate account but simply logged in from another device.
My first point of clarification is simple and involve both contextual and steteotypical takes regarding lesbians and lesbianism.
Varvara's being established into women only from the get go sets in motion this harmful belief that lesbians can be turned by right guy and his dick. Considering said scene is also rife with indirect mockery of her feelings for Kyouka I personally find that disgusting (both the slap and the smitten eyes).
And I can assure You that the author knew what he was doing, because there were a great amout of comments consisting of subtle and overt jokes regarding lesbian conversion etc.
My second take revolves around Yuuki's latent desires and the way in which they shape this reward. To clarify once again, he knew how Varvara felt about Kyouka and approved of that, yet he indirectly selfishly demanded her to strip and to give him a kiss. Plus also a sexual act implied by the bonus mini chapter. It is indicated that these actions were forced on Varvara by him by him being totally passive and not into them at all.
So I, once again, view these scenes not as something positive but as a form of "wholesome" conversion. Not overtly creepy, but with this underlying messages that lesbians can be turned by a right guy.
And thank You for the linka - I've already contacted both organizations and am now simply waiting.
And this is my question: are You okay with the other same-sex attracted characters in Mato Seihei (Yakumo, Yachiyo and Ema)?
Look I assumed this was an alternate account because it has no posts, no follows, and no likes. Which is profoundly sus, my dude
Not gonna argue on our interpretations of the scene, because I genuinely don't see what you're seeing and if we keep this circular conversation we're getting nowhere
as for everything else
I wasn't aware the author made any fucked up comments and if so then he can go die in a fucking pit
and well if those are comments made by fans then ugh. Yeah no that's what I get for enjoying this manga, I have to share space with fucking creeps and weirdos, and I hate that they feel validated by this bullshit
and on that last point
Yakumo is like genuinely the worst and is shown to be a fucked up pervert
I don't remember when Yachiyo was shown to have any sort of attraction for women, unless you consider her "driven by sisterly love" thing to mean she wants to do a Citrus with her sister
and uh I forgot Ema existed
so yeah no this manga isn't exactly doing wonders on the queer rep, but also like NO SHIT
like seriously if a manga or anime isn't explicitly about queerness then the chances of it having queer rep are microscopic
Which fucking sucks and shouldn't be that way, but honestly did we really expect Chained Soldier of all series to break that trend?
When My Hero Academia is over there killing a trans character a hand full of chapters after she's introduced, and then killing its bi character moments after she has her love reciprocated by another woman
When JJK keeps throwing its female characters into the blender for drama
When One Piece fans would rather start a fight than use Yamato's correct pronouns and recognize him as a man
When the bar is set so low the Devil is playing limbo with it
Yeah it sucks, but let's be honest here, Japan has much MUCH bigger problems with queer people and there's far more pressing shit to deal with
All our times are better spent helping queer people in need than arguing with people online

Hot take I'm seeing quite a few posts confused over why Deadloch isn't trending or much more popular on tumblr because "tumblr is so gay and so feminist". And I am sorry to say this but tumblr isn't the "lesbian website" or the "feminist website". Tumblr loves men just as much as the rest of society does, its user base just loves them in a very online way which makes it look a bit different at times. It has always been this way, starting with shipping every two white dudes in close proximity to each other, over worshipping old male Hollywood actors to downright MRA and anti-feminist talking points in the recent past in "progressive leftist" spaces on here. All done in very uwu political correct tumblr speak of course.
And it's really that simple. Media with two (often times white) guys standing close to each other will always be more popular on here than anything women- or lesbian centric, no matter how many theoretical tumblr approval boxes said media ticks. There is a reason why lesbian shows get canceled left and right. Even if lesbian shows are trending for one or two days there is just no genuine interest from a majority of people (on tumblr and anywhere else). Men overall are rarely interested if it isn't made with the male gaze in mind or focusses on men, straight women aren't interested, even many bi women (don't come at me I am bi) aren't interested because they don't see other women (and often times themselves) as complete and potentially interesting people/characters (how often I've seen women on here saying something along the lines of "my favourite characters are all men but it's just because these characters are so good! Pure coincidence. I would definitely love a female character but I just have never found one I am that obsessed with. Not my fault, they are all written in a bad/boring way").
Doesn't matter how often the word "queer" is thrown around here, all of this has always been the same and it won't change. Which is.. fine? I have never expected it to be something else. A website that isn't specifically designed for lesbians but only attracts lesbians would be magical. But a website thats designed for nerdy people and especially women of that kind will attract.. nerdy people/women. Consisting of the same groups of people that exist in real life, including lots of women attracted to men. I have my little bubble here in which I mainly see lesbian content but the things on my dashboard rarely reflect what's trending or the content of popular posts.
I am not bitter about this because it has never been different (here or anywhere else) but I am surprised that people are still thinking that this website would worship a lesbian-lead and female-centric show when it would be entirely out of character for tumblr as a whole to do so. I mean maybe this is all about the show being australian. Maybe people don't like Australia. I also get that crime shows aren't THAT popular either but I guarantee you, if Dulcie and Eddie were dudes this show would be trending so hard.
Deadloch is a fantastic show. It looks amazing, has fantastic humor, the drama is great, the plot is great, there is a good message behind everything and the show also sprinkles in some of tumblrs top ten greatest political correct catch phrases. The main two characters are played by lesbians, another actress from the main cast is bisexual. One of the main characters is a lesbian and there are several other lesbian characters in the show. The other main character is a woman of color (who SHOULD be same sex attracted but sadly seemingly is not which makes me cry). Almost all important characters are women. Amazingly written by the way. There are plenty of women of color, indigenous women especially, playing important roles. All female characters are complex and nuanced people and their suffering isn't used for shock value or to push forward the plot. The two main female characters are both over 40 years old! What the show doesn't have is the same two decent looking men standing in close proximity to each other. And there really isn't any arguing against my little rant here because the only thing I accept as proving me wrong is a lot of people watching Deadloch or overall more women centric and lesbian centric stuff :) Thank you :)

tw: acephobia
Tumblr media
as an ace lesbian posts this make me sick. blaming aces for the way other people have twisted and purported our terminology is just so ridiculous. seriously i’m sick of us (asexuals and lesbians) being scapegoated for intracommunity issues because it’s convenient. sure, some aces are responsible for promoting this idea, but to blame all of us? like aces aren’t gonna stop being or calling ourselves asexual just because other people have decided the SAM is for them. it’s fucking 2023 i shouldn’t have to sit here and explain why aces and ‘bi lesbians’ are 2 different things with different politics, and i shouldn’t have to defend asexuality from people who see it as nothing more than celibacy. asexual just means not heterosexual. genuinely cannot begin to describe the scope of harm this rhetoric does.
there are a lot of things some (terminally) online ace communities have done & said that i don’t approve of, but it is not symptomatic of our minority as a whole. there’s more to say about this but i won’t clog up your inbox. sorry to rant i’m just frustrated
This person (though they were correct to not support the “bi lesbian” label) is doing just what lesbians always complain about: that we’re often the target of the LGBTQ+ community whenever other queers want to blame something on a group. The Ace community is not to blame for this, we should blame individuals who either use or support this label, not a whole group of people - a minority - about it.
Just because some allo people have started using the SAM to describe their identity it doesn’t mean this has anything to do with ace people. A lot of people don’t understand that the SAM was supposed to be used exclusively by the aro/ace community.
Not to mention this person is acting as if “bi lesbians” all used that label because they also use the split attraction model, but they seem to forget a lot of them use the label because 1) they want to include nb people in their identity 2) they want to include trans men or women in their identity or 3) they want to point out they have a gender preference.
And tbh it’s more common to use that label for one of the reasons I mentioned than because the person uses the SAM.
I hate how this community thinks it’s a wonderful idea simply pointing fingers at each other instead of actually listening to each other and understanding our issues.

oh....... i suggested damme and tomme bc i didn't think you would be approving of bisexuals who use femme and butch since we often get called lesbophobic by radfems/gencrits for claiming terms that have always belonged to us. i consider tomme an alternate identity in online spaces because i also want to avoid harassment, but if i can feel safe being butch then i would much prefer that!
i also apologize for my mis-wording, i didn't mean to say that you "push" doe/stag on bisexuals. i think that since i saw all your related content on this blog and assumed they were the only bi terms you worked with, since there aren't many to choose from.
i still believe bi woc who want terms but are uncomfortable with the antiblackness of d/s and the lesbian association (meaning their sexuality will likely be erased) with f/b deserve something. i thought d/t would do that perfectly but not if they could get in trouble for being terfs or whatever. :/
It's ok! I apologize too I was a little more offended at your wording than I should've been.
I have not heard a good argument against bi women using butch/femme. Historically (and tbh this is still the attitude of many older women) "lesbian" was used to describe behavior I.e. a woman seeking a relationship with a woman, rather than an orientation. It's likely that some butch "lesbians" were in fact febfems. So I think it's ok to use butch as long as you're not het partnered.
That said agree that bisexual women deserve terms of our own (and if damme/tomme works for you, go for it)!

I frequently see people just learning about Aristasia say that they’re lesbians in denial, or even queerphobic, because of the blondes and brunettes technically being different sexes, but I think they’re missing the point completely.
The vast majority of Aristasians, especially during the Miss Martindale heights of the 90s, were bi or lesbians. Aristasians hosted monthly nights at a local lesbian bar, they frequently discussed and approved of gay rights, they had their own cheeky lingo for being a lesbian, they were personally in queer relationships, they published wlw magazines, and I believe several were vocal lgbtq activists and supporters in their mundane lives. They were well aware that in the real world they were queer.
Even within the world of Aristasia they were fine with blonde/blonde and brunette/brunette pairings. They even accepted that girls could have personas of both sexes, or that sometimes the sexes didn’t easily fit at one end of the blonde-brunette spectrum, and discussed the possibility of what it meant to be redheads.
In later years, especially during the Second Life Embassy years when they mostly moved outside of the UK and largely went online, I believe they began to attract more online-only role-players who were drawn to the aesthetics, lifestyle theories, spirituality, or world-building role play, they seemed to readily welcomed girls of any sexuality because it didn’t necessarily matter what they were doing outside of the world of Aristasia, especially since Aristasia largely existed online at this point, and as a world-building exercise, not the horny thirst-posting about ladies stockings of yesteryear.
They also seemed eager to drop the fetish role-play connotations of the 90s as they simply moved on with their game and their own lives changed, so denying anything titillating happening at all became their modus operandi. By the time Chelouranya rolled around, Mary seems to have taken more of a back seat and Sushuri was leading the charge, and the focus shifted completely to spirituality and Japan. Sex and sexuality, and any hint of the real world simply seemed to have no part In Chelouranya.
I feel that their denial of being gay was equal parts allowing room for those girls who weren’t, but also their typical cheekiness. They knew they largely were, they were just making fun of you for not being smart enough to figure it out on your own. Only a bongo would be stupid enough to have to ask something like that.

The hidden misogyny in anti fujoshi discourse
Periodically a overly online person decides to inform the world that they hate women. But since blatant misogyny is frowned on by anyone that isn't a absolute incel. They try to disguise their misogyny as concern for some other issue. That they conveniently ignore also includes women.
One of the current most popular methods of doing this is to shit on women for liking BL. Which misogynist always seem to think is the worse issue facing LGBTQ people today.
Now logically if someone genuinely cared about LGBTQ issues. They should probably be more concerned about the laws trying to ban trans people from existing in public. But misogynists are not known for their unassailable logic.
So todays winner of the caring about things that don't matter award is this person.
Tumblr media
Of course Joshua claims he's not a misogynist, he just doesn't like women. He just wants to burn bl to the ground which only coincidently happens to a be genre of media that is primarily created by women.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One could ask why he doesn't also want to burn hentai to the ground. When it often depicts lesbian, bi and trans women and girls being raped, tortured or even murdered. But that's not his concern he said "queer people". And women are not in his definition of people.
Joshua also wants us to know that he thinks it's racist that people are criticizing him on Black history month. A standard that he does not apply to any other Black people but himself of course.
Tumblr media
But I know what your going to say. Its not fair to call him a misogynist. How do you know he wouldn't get equally mad at media that fetishizes queer women.
I know that he doesn't get mad at fetishization of queer women because he works for Hoyoverse. A company who's whole business model is built on fetishizing and sexualizing queer women. Their previous game had a feature that allows the player to seduce a lesbian by sexually harassing her.
youtube
And that's not all. One of their characters for their comics is the Herrssher of Sexual Desire. A lesbian who's power is raping women.
Tumblr media
So don't tell me this guy cares about "queer rep". He has no issue with taking checks from a company that portrays queer women as rapists. But has the nerve to cry about how a bi girl reading a comic about two gay men having sex in a way that he does not approve is oppressing him.

How to Sell Laptops and Desktop Computers on GeM: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Government Deals
Use the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) to sell your goods directly to the government as a new business. People who sell phones and computers can join GeM and make money. This guide will show you the way and give you tips as you go.
To start, you need to register your business.
This is the first big step. You need to put your business on GeM and tag it properly if you want to sell it. Pick the right kind of business to start: You can run a business as a sole proprietorship, a partnership, a private limited company, or an LLP. This is what you need to remember to bring: You must have a GST registration certificate to follow tax rules. You or your business can receive a PAN card. To get help from MSME, you need a Udyam Registration Certificate. You also need a business bank account to simplify paying people.
Step 2: Join GeM. This will help you do well. It’s simple to become a seller on GeM. Do these things when you get to gem.gov.in: If you want to sell, sign up: You can finish your page with GST, PAN, and Udyam licenses. Customer or OEM: If you make things, become an OEM. To sell HP, Dell, or Lenovo products, you need a Manufacturer Authorization Certificate (MAC).
Step 3: GeM things you need to sell. Get these things ready to build trust and make sure the sale goes well: There should be proof of your GST, PAN, Aadhaar, and Udyam, along with details about your bank account. To view a list of items, click here. If necessary, you can include a manufacturer authorization certificate, specifications, advertisements, and high-quality pictures of the goods. if necessary Seals of approval: Use lists approved by BIS, ISO, and energy-saving groups for better results. These lists will help you follow government rules.
Step 4: Bring your goods to GeM to show what you have to give. It’s crucial how you list something if you want people to buy it. When you’re in your GeM sale screen, do these things: Check out the page with a list of You can choose from groups that have computers, tablets, and other tools.
Tell us more about the thing: Tell them what kind of processor, RAM, storage, and graphics card you’re using and what promise you’re making. Post pictures online: The site should have a lot of excellent shots of your things. Set your prices and make sure you have enough of each thing.
