25k | T | Weilan | Case Fic, Undercover Married, Grief
Shen Wei swallows. âAnd this is why you asked me toââ he makes a vague gesture that means go undercover as your husband ââpretend with you.â Zhao Yunlan comes to a stop, eyes on Shen Wei. âThatâs why the cover is a married couple. The reason Iâm asking you is because there are no other options for people to go undercover with.â Shen Wei scoffs to give himself an excuse to look away. âYou certainly know how to flatter someone, Zhao Yunlan.â Or: Four Haixingren disappear for two months after a stay at a romantic mountain retreat. Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan book a weekend there to find out what happened.
it's finally here!!! my beloved fic for the 520 day guardian reverse exchange! this was written for trobadora, who gave me the most delicious set of ideas to fit into a story. it was so fun.
i have no idea how to describe this fic, frankly - this is, hands down, the most complex and most heartwrenching and most incredible thing i've ever written in my entire life.
here is a list of some things in it: a kiss, a mystery, a change of heart. old chinese people, dark energy world-building, lesbians, big-time character parallels, forgery of documents, rainstorms, rowboats, lollipop symbolism, [redacted], bedsharing, grading, the stupidest undercover name ever. zhao yunlan described with so many light metaphors. shen wei being the most shen wei i could make him.
read Day After Day | ćĽĺ¤ä¸ćĽ on ao3 here!

I honestly think that's Makoto, only "you could fix her" instead of "I could fix her" - Kyoko knows better.
You can make the argument that this is the Ryoko/Junko relationship, though. Ish.
"i could fix him" no you cant, he just erased your memories
#musings#princescar#dr1 end rewrite fic#literally the entire premise of oaei is makoto 'you can fix her! I JUST FOUND OUT THAT JOKER AND SUPERMAN SWAPED BODIES?? (it's a very yaoi plot wtf) HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?? HOW DID BRUCE REACT??WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE SUPERMAN AND JOKER HAVE A KIND OF UNCLASSIFIABLE TENSION BETWEEN THE PAST FEW YEARS?? đ (sorry, just wanted to know if you know which comic that happened in, you don't need to answer the rest, XOXO)
Hah. Yeah that is a thing that happened, in General Mills Presents: Justice League (2011) #9. Fortunately we do see how Bruce reacts, because Bruce swaps bodies with Lex Luthor. It's a fun little issue with some interesting tidbits:
Love how Bruce is like "Joker's got ADHD on steroids, my guy. He can handle your powers." But also, seeing as Joker had no issue with controlling Superman's body, he could've easily done more damage-- but he only chooses to do some ultimately harmless pranks.
Actually, there's been more Superjokes crumbs recently, most notably in Action Comics. In a story arc that has a magic spell turn everyone into a Bizarro version of themselves, Joker is obviously... the only truly sane one left, because he got reversed. Clark goes to him for help in order to stay lucid, to be able to fight Bizarro within his own mind. He dies over and over (a cheeky reference to Emperor Joker, methinks), and seemingly Bizarro has won, when Joker pretty much saves the whole planet by talking Clark back into sanity:
Action Comics (2016) #1063
Did I mention this is some of the most nuanced Joker writing I've seen in recent years? :)
It's all very sad, Clark even calls Bizarro Joker a "friend" afterwards.
I do agree there's a kind of tension between Superman and Joker, simply because they're both important people to Bruce. There's similar narrative tension between Joker and Dick, for instance. Or Joker and Selina. All of them play different roles in Bruce's life, but something Dick, Selina and Clark have in common is tethering Bruce to the light; keeping him sane, helping him walk the line between the best and the worst of himself. It's obviously interesting to put them in relation to Joker, who's... well, trying to make Bruce worse, but also representative of Bruce's darkness, a twisted mirror of him. This is why the premise of Injustice: Gods Among Us is so good, too-- it's literally the product of a Superbatjokes triangle. Bruce thinks Clark is so inherently good and infallible in that goodness, that it pisses Joker off and makes him jealous, so he goes out of his way to prove that Superman can be broken. So then Superman kills Joker, who Bruce cared about, even "loved" (to quote what Clark himself accuses him of). And Bruce can't get over it, despite having excused murders from loved ones before, being quite unreasonable in his treatment of Clark and arguably pushing him further into becoming the worst version of himself... when he could've tried to help. (It kinda sends me that Batman/Catwoman also had Selina kill Joker. But only when Bruce was dead because otherwise Bruce would've been mad. Do you see the pattern here, lol.)
Sorry, ended up rambling. But yeah, Clark and Joker have had some interesting interactions for sure!
#...my headcanon is that afterwards Clark went to Bruce's Cave#and asked âcan't the Joker be fixed?? just curious hahaâ#with Bruce going âNO. I need him to keep matching my freak. mind your own damn businessâ#asks#joker#clark kent#superman#batman#bruce wayne#superjokes#batjokes#long post

translation notes:
About ânaresomeâ
As tends to happen when translating Japanese, this is one of those words that donât exist in English. Its literal translation is âthe start of a romance.â So, while weâve chosen to translate it as âget together,â it would be more accurate to give a more extensive explanation. It is a noun that specifically refers to the moment that love begins. So when weâre talking about ânaresomeâ weâre talking about the thing or situation that triggered the romantic relationship or romantic feelings.âSnow
about casting Tominaga Yuya as a guy who gets busy when it rains
I think this is another tokusatsu Easter egg. Tominaga Yuya, who plays Jouji in the âVs. The Start of a Relationshipâ chapter, was also on Avataro Sentai DonBrothers, a Super Sentai series that ran from 2022 to 2023. His character, Sonoi, was the agent of a culture from another plane of existence whose members feed off of the brainwaves of human beings. At first, he and his associates Sonoza and Sononi were enemies of the DonBrothers, but they eventually joined forces with the Sentai. A big reason this happened was that Sonoi had a special connection to the leader of the DonBrothers, Momoi Tarou. Their relationship reads as pretty darned queer to a lot of viewers, myself included.
Momoi Tarou and Sonoi bonding, before they found out they were nemeses
Many JBL fans know Higuchi Kouhei from My Personal Weatherman/Taikan Yoho, in which he played the titular meteorologist, Segasaki. Part of the premise of that series is that at the start of the story, Higuchiâs character only has sex with his partner on sunny days. Jouji, Tominagaâs Zettai BL character, does the opposite: he and his âsex friendâ only do it on rainy days.Â
Basically, the writers of Zettai BL 3 have made Higuchiâs toku boyfriendâs story into a reverse Taikan Yoho situation. What are the odds thatâs just a coincidence?âTowel
Also, he gets his own âZettai BLâ title card moment (and heâs the only one out of the secondary cast who get to have that).âSnow
Thatâs right!
Iâm going to put this in context a little because Iâve given a lot of thought (probably too much) to whoâs been featured in the opening credits of the different Zettai BL seasons. For every season of the show so far, Inukai Atsuhiro has had four other actors perform with him in the opening theme dance number. (All of whom also get a crack at some of those title card moments.) For two seasons, three of the four spots were taken up by Yutaro (Ayato), Shiono Akihisa (Toujou), and Itou Asahi (Kikuchi). The fourth spot was taken up by different actors in the first two seasons. It was the guy who played the attractive dude from the goukon in the first season, and it was Izuka Kenta, who played Kikuchiâs ex Igarashi, in the second.Â
This time around, I had hoped that Sekoguchi Ryo would take the fourth spot, because heâs my blorbo and of course I wanted to see him in a retro dance number (boy was that wish ever granted!). But I hadnât expected Shiono not to appear this time. Maybe there were specific reasons for this, like a scheduling conflict or an injury. Itâs not like Shiono appears less in season 3 than he did in the others, so thatâs not the reason. Itâs hard to say. But in that context, it seems even more significant that they gave a spot to Tominaga Yuya. We donât know the reasons for this. But itâs possible they featured him more heavily in this way because of his tokusatsu backstory and the inside joke it allowed them to make.âTowel
about âpudding relationshipâ and âprince and princessâ
This part was tricky to translate. As you might have noticed by this point, Mob likes to make puns. In Japanese, pudding is written as âpurinâ and it is used to refer to pudding as well as custard. Mob goes on to follow with âprince and princessâ, which in Japanese are pronounced as âpurinsuâ and âpurinsesuâ. In here, thereâs wordplay with these similar sounding words and the image of the ToujouAyato couple.âSnow Â
about âcuteness overloadâ
Japanese is a language that uses a lot of onomatopoeia. Thereâs 4 types, iirc: animal sounds, object sounds (like rain, creaking and the like), things that donât make noise (smiles, stares, silence, etc), verbs turned onomatopoeia (I unfortunately cannot remember this properly but it was something like that). In this case, Mob says âKyun ga tomaranaiâ (which literally means âthe kyun canât be stoppedâ). âKyunâ is an onomatopoeic word to refer to a âmomentary tightening of one's chest caused by powerful feelings,â usually tied to a romantic context but not exclusively. Taking this into account, we thought âcuteness overloadâ might be the closest expression in English.âSnow
Itâs worth noting that Mob is also saying âkyunâ right after the âcuteness overloadâ line. I really thought at first that he was saying âcute,â since it sounds so similar, it would make a lot of sense contextually, and English loan words are so common in Japanese. But no, it was âkyun.â There was no way we could get across the meaning of âkyunâ in one or two syllables of English, so we went with âadorbs,â which is just another word for âcute,â but at least it has a cutesy pronunciation that steps it up a notch.âTowel
about bouhan buzzers (16:06)
The translation note shown onscreen during this scene reads: âa bouhan buzzer is a security gadget carried by Japanese schoolchildren.â We did our best to summarize the meaning of this term briefly, so that it would be readable in the amount of time it was possible for us to keep that caption onscreen. But hereâs a longer explanation for those who might be curious.Â
It took a while for me to understand what these things were. At first I pictured something like a hand buzzerâthe kind that people used to use to prank people. But itâs nothing like that. Theyâre sometimes referred to as âpersonal security alarms.â Theyâre little doodads that you can clip onto a backpack or carry in your pocket, and if you activate them (the most common mechanism for which seems to be pulling some kind of tab or string), they make some form of alarm-type sound. I found a video, below, that shows someone activating two different types of buzzers, showing the sound they make.Â
youtube
These two make the same sort of beeping/chirping noises youâd associate with an alarm protecting a car or the entrance to a buildingânot really a âbuzzingâ sound, or anything that resembles the sound Mr. Cheerleader makes in this scene. But maybe there are other types that are more buzz-like, or sound more like the sound our buddy is imitating.Â
According to some things I read when I looked these up, children often play with their bouhan buzzers, making it somewhat less likely that people will be on alert when they hear them go off. I donât think I could have resisted setting off a gadget like this if Iâd had one as a child. They seem to be available with all sorts of characters on them and in all sorts of colors and shapes, which is cool but might make them seem even more toy-like.Â
From what Iâve seen, these things are most commonly used by children, but adults sometimes use them too. If you look for them for sale online, there are more adult-looking versions available (say, a rose-gold blob instead of something with cute characters on itâthough of course, adults might want those too). One listing I saw advertised that theyâre useful for kids, women, and the elderly.âTowel

Pspspspspsps do you have any HCs for IK babysitting the little guys
okay keep in mind i don't actually know what happened in that kid pop quiz, so this is the literal premise of "these got turned into little primary school boys".
how i imagine this happening: satan + solomon are brewing some dastardly potion and asmo + simeon come in to chat with/ask them about what's going on. lucifer walks in, gets highly suspicious and tries to intervene, solomon accidentally drops something into the cauldron, and then it's hiss, BANG, child
i'll put the boys at around 7 years old both physically and mentally - they retain their usual memories, but they're kind of vague and hand-wavey about what exactly they remember - so they recognise everyone they're meant to but don't know why in particular
the potion going BANG happens at the rad and prof baal is down the hall, so they (attracted by the sound of explosions, their one true love) quickly show up
when they open the door there are five little boys sitting around in various states of shock. solomon turns around and sees this crazy-looking adult in with big glowing goggles and spiky hair, and also has the distinct feeling he's done something wrong, and subsequently starts crying
this sets asmo off, which sets simeon off, which makes satan angry so now he's loudly scolding them for crying for no reason
lucifer just sits there silently, apparently trying to process everything in his now significantly smaller brain
prof baal can only do one thing. leave
and call diavolo
who calls ik because he can't get the boys to stop crying, and when asked for help barbatos just inadvertently made solomon cry more
eventually ik, reeling somewhat, gets them all calmed down and ascertains what happened
unfortunately the two main guys who would be able to figure out a reverse potion are little boys now. so diavolo takes the issue to wiz and ik continues to hang out with the kids
it's. fun?? it's also incredibly jarring
big news! wiz is going to need at least a weekend to analyse the remains of the potion and reverse engineer its effects! the kids are going to have to stay at the castle in the mean time!
so let's get to know them:
lucifer: very serious and earnest - tries to act mature and rein the others in, which is mostly ineffective. likes having his hand held but won't admit it. very particular about keeping himself neat and gets annoyed when he feels he's being talked down to. spends most of his time quietly following ik around.
satan: closer to 6yo and very energetic - runs around exploring things, crawls into whatever spaces he can fit into to. his lucifer-grudge manifests in one of those kiddie rivalries where he has to prove he's the COOLEST one. likes to be read to when he's calm, dislikes it heavily when lucifer is praised in front of him
simeon: just the sweetest little guy... very smiley and bright, seeks approval to an almost worrying degree, kind of clumsy. a little shy around the other boys but super outgoing with the grown-ups (and ik + luke), tries to help out even when he doesn't know what he's doing, and consequently breaks things
solomon: also very energetic, very loudly curious, asks a lot of questions but is moving too fast to actually hear the answers. one of those kids with grabby hands and very little sense of personal space. also keeps having magic accidents because he's not great at controlling his powers in this state
asmo: cheerful but also very blunt and honest with his words. cries quite easily but is also easily consoled; enjoys playing make-believe and dress-up, but very insistent that you do it HIS way. likes being carried around and gets a little crabby if he doesn't get attention for too long
the others are involved in looking after the boys as well but i'm just going to focus on ik for brevity's sake
ik has at least three of the kids surrounding her at all times
at any given moment, at least one of them wants to be carried. another one has something cool to give her. another one wants her to follow them and look at something. lucifer is probably still clinging to her hand the entire time.
the other boys play. lucifer reads a little bit, tries to tell them off, then spends the rest of his time walking around and looking for ik so that she will hold his hand. nevertheless he will look away when asked about this and insist it's nothing
solomon spends a not insignificant amount of time trying to cause as much trouble for barbatos as possible - he's clearly conspiring with some of the little ds as well - and forces ik to go on constant tours around the castle with him so that he can ask her questions at a billion miles per hour
he keeps pointing at things and accidentally making them explode or erupt into flames, or trying to conjure pretty lights and instead summoning bats
he walks into the kitchen with a massive rat in his hands and barbatos almost bodily hurls him out of the window
satan can sprint around the entire castle (including up and down the towers) before he exhausts himself, and he is the bane of lucifer's seven year old life because he will not stop BOTHERING him
satan can theoretically still read at his usual level but he 1. can't sit still long enough do so and 2. now lacks the neural power to comprehend super complex paragraphs, so when he tuckers himself out, he makes ik read him super morbid history books from the castle library
(lucifer is there too, sitting cross-legged and listening solemnly. when satan gets squeamish or spooked he looks at lucifer and reminds himself that he MUST get a better grade in scary stories than him)
(inevitably satan falls asleep and ik will let lucifer pick a book to switch to. when satan wakes up he is inevitably very mad about this)
asmo REFUSES to exert his little legs on the castle steps, so ik has to carry him, never mind the fact that she is also not very well equipped to be taking those stairs
ik plays house with him and pretends to be a little old grandpa, which delights asmo to no end
ik brushes out his hair and he insists on returning the favour, and then tangles a bunch of ornaments in her hair because he thinks it'll look pretty
sometimes he walks into things and cries even if it didn't hurt at all because he likes being fussed over
simeon's just happy to be here!
he tries to help the little ds with chores but mostly just undos their progress (and trips himself down the stairs in the process)
he likes being doted on but doesn't know how to express that, so instead he'll follow ik around, looking at her with these really big hopeful eyes
the boys like to play tag or hide-n-seek in the castle gardens, though the grounds are so extensive that they will inevitably get lost
lucifer has a knack for finding them - he'll silently slip off while ik and barbatos are wondering what to do, and come back with everyone in tow like a border collie herding sheep
when he's finally persuaded into joining their games, satan pushes him into a pond and then immediately tattles on himself because he feels bad
ik gets them to hold hands until they've made up (and barbatos takes a picture that both satan and lucifer will hunt him down for once they're back to normal)
they make fairy cakes together and asmo's decorations are 1. a flower, 2. himself, 3. a cat, 4. himself again, and 5. someone getting their head chopped off????

lil spicy hc's for sdj
literally 18+, any and all blogs that's ageless DNI otherwise you'll be blocked. Any minors DNI.
so with all that out of the way, here's my personal thought process for the dang man. also this is going to be gn for everyone to enjoy. and try to censor myself as much as possible so i don't get clocked by tumblr lol...also added is that i only recently got into this game and that i don't know everything so im sorry if there's a lot of things that aren't really good listed...thank you <333
-of course if you played the extended demo, you know he loves to praise mc, right? Oh man now can you just imagine the power he has??? Mr. Jack will use that for basically anything like to condition mc to go back to him...sort of like pavlov's experiment.
-now, if you uno reverse poor jackie boy...the outcomes is without fail, so good. he'd be all flush and whiney, immediately just do everything he can just to be told he's good. he's not above groveling. just to hear mc call him "good boy" makes him into a puddle of jello.
-now putting into perspective of joseph/jack...one's weakness doesn't go away when they transform. the weakness is the filthiest sloppy toppy mc can give. it doesn't even have to be that good, pretty sure especially jack would just love seeing how excited mc is to give it...he's about to blow no matter what...
-he loves giving head, favorite thing ever to do. sure he can stick it in...but why would he do that when he can give mc the best head they've ever had in their life??? he has to make mc nut (i hate how i have to use that) at least, like 2-3x before he even Considers helping himself. what a gentleman.
-is 100% okay with letting mc top. proper equipment or bought equipment, doesn't matter, he would be so proud of mc. the entire time he's getting absolutely demolished and ravaged by mc, he's still praising them, telling how good they feel, and how good they are to him.
-obviously we've seen how he tops, how he absolutely loves tearing mc apart and putting them back together again...he just adores watching mc's face as they get closer and closer to the edge. the best pleasure for him is to see mc getting the pleasure they deserve
-most def a tease. he always wants to please mc, don't get him wrong. but also he loves how borderline delirious he's made mc, making them work hard and 'earn it'...of course his rewards is so delicious.
-now if mc would flip the table on him...he'd be putty in their hands...and he would be pouting the entire time. being unable to do anything but just sweetly beg for some release off his c*ck...
-if mc says anything about how big he is...it's a wrap. jack is not egotistical in the slightest, but he will no forget what mc said. will be thinking about it Forever
-we all know the premise of the game, he's so possessive it's safe to assume he'd leave Marks all over mc's body. only stops putting it in visible places when mc complains how many times parents scolded them for leaving the apartment like that
Here's a bit softer hc's i think:
-loves when mc and him laugh during s*x...it makes him so elated that even when mc is asleep, he replays the memory in his head over and over again
-he's been locked in that tape for so long...of course he's touch starved. this man Yearns for any form of affection.
-genuinely loves to get to know mc, their favorite music, and pictures, and just everything, it makes him so happy to know everything about mc
-going back to about how he wants so much affection and attention...literally is the epitome of when someone says "i want to crawl into their skin, that's the only way i can be close enough"...yea that's him. cannot stand being without mc's touch for a second.
-loves when mc does small...nothings. like simple things that most people would just skip over. take for granted...not him, not jack. jack would worship everything that mc does.
last one:
-jack/joseph love fat mc. like big belly, smaller belly, whatever. apron belly? muffin top? they eat that shit up daily. chef's kiss thank you for coming to my ted talk

List of Thai BL dramas i've watched with short opinions about them i guess :P
Thai BLs that i finished:
A Boss and a Babe. It's cute for what it is, i loved the gaming friendships and i'm a sucker for forcebook. 7/10 need more unhinged energy from book.
A Tale of Thousand Stars/Our Skyy 2 : Bad Buddy x A Tale Of Thousand stars. this show reminds me a lot of early to mid 2000s lakorns. it's a beautiful by the book love story, i appreciated that a bl got to take a spin on this kind of quiet thai story. 8/10 loved it but still too vanilla for my taste.
Bake Me Please. Guide Kantapon is the cutest man alive and CAKES! that it, that all i have for this show. 6/10 it's a show that exist.
Be My Favorite. damn fluke gawin is so pretty what was this show about again? :P i'm kidding, i actually really liked this show. i watched it when i had zero knowledge about bl industry, i was oblivious about krist's controversy and i find krist acting to be charming and think kawee is very relatable as a cringe fail human myself. 8.5/10 this show made me want to collected weird thingies.
Cherry Magic (Thailand). oh boy this show. it's was everything to me also the only show so far that i've written extensively on this site. here is my personal feeling about this show. 9.5/10 would kill for taynew.
Cooking Crush. what! the fuc$! look look, i just learned that both offgun are older than me. when i first saw the show i thought they were some rookie actors with how young they looks. watching cute bl is gonna be the death of me. anywho this show is supercute don't have a lot of thought about it though. 7.5/10 cutting half a point cause of no samsee x metha.
Cutie Pie/Naughty Babe. what a fuckin legend of a series. all the characters have zero braincells and somehow all the rich pretty boys are engaged to each other and by arranged marriages nonetheless. wtf is this fanfic version of thailand and where can i get hit by a truck and get isekai to it. 7.5/10 still haven't watch Cutie Pie 2 U, i hope it get dumber.
EnchantĂŠ. this show is so dummmb it should've go full camp reverse harem yaoi nonsense but it didn't and ended up being kinda boring. 6.5/10. meh, i'm still a sucker for forcebook.
Last Twilight. UGHHH!! i'm still so mad. this show was going to be THE SHOW for me then ep 11-12 happened i legit mentally check out halfway through ep 12 and i basically blocked the ending from my mind. this show came out at the right place and the right time for me, the first 9 episodes helped me through a very tough time in my life. the story of two people helping each other finding their way out of the dark was very compelling to me. ughh. 5.5/10 (9/10 for ep 1-9) P'Aof why are you like this!!
Laws Of Attraction. yassssssss this show slay(literally :P) the show is a breath of fresh air for me despite how very lakorn of it is. i'm glad that there is a bl that feel this soapy and campy cause like i do love my angsty and innocent school bls but the industry really need show like laws of attraction. jamfilm also were very great in their roles espically film, charn is the most babygirl corrupted cute evil lawyer of all time. 9/10 no note headempty only charn's evil smirks in my mind
La Pluie. now, this is a romance. this show is one of the most romanctic media that i personally have experience. i loved that the show took the cheesy premise of soulmates and work it so well to do both deconstruction and exploration of the trope. i think using rain, thing that isolated people as a narrative tool for love connection is absolutely brilliant. last but not least pat is just the perfect bl love interest, he's an very idealized character but he do feels like an actual person. i want to give a shout out to Pee Peerawich the way he said "ลูŕ¸ŕ¸Ťŕ¸ŕ¸˛ŕ¸§ŕ¸ŕšŕ¸°" in ep 8 sent me, the raspy voice, the eye twich and combo those with a back cuddle, sir! you just commited a mass murders with that move. 9/10 plz i need season two with my baby boy tien.
Love in Translation. the unhingendness of that first meeting is probably my favorite bl meet cute. look if you don't get into a fistfight with the guy you destined to be with then what is the point of life. this show fake date is very well done it's doesn't feel forced like in a lot of other bls and it make the growing attraction feels very genuine and it pay off in one of the best sex scenes in all of bl, yang is such a freak and i loved him for it. 8/10 the last two episodes did got slightly off the rail for me but i still enjoyed the show.
Moonlight Chicken. one of the most beautiful shows i ever watched. when watching this show i can feels, smells and tastes everything it depicted. from the comfort khao man gai to jim's loneliness, from alan's heartbreak to liming and heart's midnight motorcycle ride. this show gave me all the feels and i still can't completely shake it off. 9.9/10 this show is a healing.
My School President. These boys!!!! i can't, i loved these boys so much, all the boys, YES ALL OF THEM! this show is on the opposite spectrum of Moonlight Chicken for me. while MC give me the good heartaches this show give me unbridled joy it's like heartstopper on cracks. i absolutely adored tinn and gun and the show relentless optimism about thier first love. love is awesome no matter the romantic, familial or platonic kind and i think this show hit the marks with all three. 10/10(i'm super bias but fuck it idc i even liked the singing) this show made me started watching thai bl and it always will have a place in my heart.
My Ride. this show is lacking in intimacy but making up by being all heart. could this show be better if they fleshed out and explore more of tawan and his cheating bf's relationship, maybe but i'm happy for what we got. 8/10 mork and tawan were very cutie patootie, i don't remember much about the het and the side couple were just st ok.
Step by Step. man trisanu is exactly the same height at me and i want everyone to know that is the only reason i started this show𤣠. i feels like this show have a lot to say about stuff but i kinda got lost staring at man trisanu while watching. one thing i really loved is the very fem *ŕ¸ŕšŕ¸¸ŕ¸ coworker who got to be a real character not just a jokey sidekick and having a loving relationship with a hottie. 7.5/10 can i get more man trisanu in bl plz.
Triage. asshole doctor stuck in a timeloop for him to find the meaning of life, yes plz give it to me. i loved stories about assholes who need to better themself for love and other junk. tinn and tol are both grumpy bitches and i just loved that the show use the timeloop to soften these nerds. at the end i just want to wrap them in blanket and let's them cuddle each other forever. 8.5/10 the last ep is bit convoluted but i forgave the show for that cute clocktower kiss.
You're My Sky. i started this show for my boy suar and he did not disappointed. the pining and the longing for an older boy who been there for you most you life, chef kiss. this show also very beautiful to look at. 8/10 i'm kinda meh about the side couples, i do think they all got the "good ending" for their stories.
Thai BLs that i didn't finish or gave up and skipped to the ending:
Bad Buddy. Oh boy, am i gonna get murder for this??? sorry but idk why i didn't wholeheartedly love and give this show my undivided attention. i watched this show very weird and out of order, i started with the last ep than just watch other episodes in bit and peice. i think i've seen 70% of this show. plz forgive me this is the first thai bl i tried to get into but can't. maybe i need to give this show another chance and watch it properly. or idk maybe cause the way i watched it, it's ruined for me forever. 6.5/10 i loved the rooftop kiss plz don't kill me.
Dangerous Romance. this show is trash and not the good kind, how this show depicted relationship between a rich asshole and a poor boy feels very gross to me. i fast forward a bunch and gave up after the not just dumb but very cruel breakup. 4/10 it's watchable if you ignore the plot and the chatacters.
Hidden Agenda. wow this is the most nothing show that ever nothing for me. it's a perfected white noise while playing chill video games. i stopped watching after ep 8 cause look like there going to be a dumb break up, i have no desire to revisit this show. 5/10 joongdunk were kinda cutes.
The Miracle of Teddy Bear. this show is too god damn long with too many side plots the one and a half hour per episode killed the momentum for me. i liked the show and do think i want to revisit and finish it one day. 6/10 for now.
Vice Versa. why are they giving jimmysea this show. this show is so boring for me, i gave up in episode 6. 4/10 gmmtv give my babies better shows!!
Thai BLs that i've watched all the sex scenes and have no intention of watching the actual show:
Kinnporsche: heheehehhehehe everyone were so hot, too bad i don't like rich mafia story. mile being a nepobaby also significantly killed the mood for me. 55555/dead bodyguards (idk how many there are but i don't care) the ost are bangers though.
Venus in the Sky and Love in the Air. cringe gay sex for the wins. 69/420.
ok, whoo that was a lot. gonna pin this cause i don't think anyone want to read all that in one sitting. i think i'm gonna make another post for non thai BLs in the near future. thanks for reading my unhinged opinions hope i'm not gonna get moider for it 55555555.
#thai bl#bl drama#bl meta#bl shows#i think i got all of them#but idk maybe i'm missing one or two shows#i shouldn't written and posted this at 5 am after staying awake all night but fuck it#dumb boy rambles

Maggie's spelling mistake
Ok, I've just had a wild thought about this moment, that led many people to theorise that Maggie could be a demon in disguise, given that 1) everything is intentional in this show, so the accent on the "ugrency" detail cannot be meaningless, and 2) demons are repeatedly characterised, of all things, as being bad at spelling.
To be honest, I cannot bring myself to believe the "Maggie is a demon" theory, but I agree that the emphasis on her spelling mistake is weird and it very much looks like a hint.
And now I think I finally have a hypothesis that I like (not because it's plausible but because I find it funny) about what it could be hinting at.
Let me list a couple of premises first:
- we know that when Aziraphale and Crowley "do a miracle together" it ends up "working a little too well"
- we have evidence of animals brought back from death (the dove) and of people brought back from Hell (Mr Brown)
- we have the Nina Sosanya and Maggie Service recasting choice, that I was obviously very happy with but never really understood
So, when in s1 Aziraphale and Crowley meet Mary Hodges, former Sister Mary Loquacious, we see Crowley initiating the hypnosis miracle and Aziraphale "stepping in" and ending it.
He is not just reversing it, he is working within the perimeter of the "miraculous window" opened by Crowley and weaving in an instruction before closing it:
So here's the wild part: what if, upon meeting Crowley after eleven years, Mary Hodges, now successful business owner, was taken back to that fatal night of the Antichrist and her dream of "whatever you like best" got mixed with shreds of memories? What if the satanic order who clearly didn't appreciate her turned into an abusive partner who "never really liked her"? What if the assignment to go fetch some bisquits from the refectory turned into the idea of having a nice little coffeeshop full of sweets and cakes? What if the contact with "His Royal Excellency the American ambassador" caused said coffeeshop to be right in front of a certain bookshop that happens to be an Embassy to Heaven? What if Sister Theresa Garrulous, the only person who that night had showed Mary some validation (although only for a happy miscommunication incident), turned into a neighbour shopkeeper with a strong bond to her mother superior great-grandmother, who keeps coming back to her coffeeshop, over and over, to grab the superfluous child a cup of coffee and have a little friendly chat?
The unknown and unforeseen power of a miracle performed by both Aziraphale and Crowley, although not intentionally and only as a result of a partial overlap of miraculous actions, could have make Mary's dream actually and literally come true. So we are not seeing a funny casting choice, but two actual characters from s1 transformed by the accidental interference of an overflowing miracle and Mary's confused memory-dream cocktail.
But if Maggie was indeed Sister Theresa...
...that would mean that the miracle did not just magically get Mary/Nina a coffeeshop in Soho, it also brought back Theresa/Maggie from Hell. So her "ugrency" spelling mistake could be there not as a sign that she is a demon herself, but as the trace of a sort of demonic contamination, a bad-grammar-contagion either from her time as a satanic nun or from her eleven years in Hell after Hastur killed her.
And if this was the case, wouldn't it be convenient that the only person who can corroborate her family history is none other than Mr Fell, the one unknowingly involved in her comeback, possibly not even knowing himself that there never was any great-grandmother selling records in the corner of his bookshop in the Twenties?
So this:
this could literally be Mary's dream come true, where miss Hodges' entrepreneurial side was fused with scraps of Sister Mary's memories from the night of the Antichrist.
Of course, this could be just Neil Gaiman jokingly referring to Maggies Service's previous role as a satanic nun with demonic acquaintances, but where's the fun in choosing that interpretation when we can run wild with outrageous theories like this?
Also, I like to imagine Mr Brown inexplicably starting to make spelling mistakes all over his impeccable tax returns after his trip to Hell...

Can we hear more about the King in the reverse isekai au?
Sure thing!! :D
Funnily enough Iâve been slowly working on and off on a silly lil comic including the King from Reverse Entry AU recently. So have a messy concept sketch of what heâll look like. Before the mumblings under the cut (design will most likely be tweaked later tbh ASFASD)
To talk about the King I also need to talk a tiny bit about this Siffrinâs background, so here is the briefest of rundowns for them first (which will prob get a more elaborate post some other time):
Siffrinâs parents used to run a storefront (refer to first bullet point section in this post).Â
It was their lifeâs work and they loved that place dearly, since they built it themselves from the ground up.
However, his parentâs passed when he was 19-20, and that storefront ended up falling into his hands.
They were in college at the time, and ended up switching majors to try to get better know-how in running a business.  Â
But at the end of the day, they had to sell it.
[the above premise was heavily inspired by stuff that happens in a webtoon with the initials GH since it is very near and dear to me actually]Â
With that established, onto talking about the King in relation to above!
The King was a family friend to Siffrinâs parents.
The wooden crown is actually a gag gift from one of Siffrinâs parents due to âThe Kingâ being a nickname for him from college, itâs not actually his name ASFASDA.
(Itâs actually too big for his head and sometimes it falls above his eyes actually LMAO)
For a time, he worked underneath the storefront when he was down on his luck, and he is eternally grateful for that.
After he got back up on his feet, he still made sure to visit from time to time, and even helped lead a couple of the crafts sessions the store did.Â
When Siffrinâs parents passed, he was devastated, since they were close, and had known each other basically forever.
And they had done a lot for him when he needed help as well.
But, at the time he was not in the best position to try and help with the storefront from a financial standpoint.
However, he, alongside a couple of others, did try to volunteer around the storefront to help it stay running for a time (it was well-beloved in the community, after all!)
It just wasnât enough.Â
He was one of the few people at the time who was against Siffrinâs decision to sell it off to some random company
(which happened to be the crafts company that Siffrin and the King and literally everyone else now work for now)
Mainly due to knowing what that store meant to Siffrinâs parents / how it helped him when he was at his lowest / overall having lots of good memories tied to it / he didn't want to let one of the last remnants of his friends to be thrown to the windÂ
And to end this off, some miscellaneous tidbits on the King in the present time of this AU:
The King actually joined the company specifically because it was the one to buy out the Siffrin Family Storefront⢠and usurped what they were doing with it
But uhâŚ. heâs like in the IT department?
And has like no real influence on what goes on with whatever acquisitions the company makes
Or what the company does with them LMAO (without it being probably directly illegal)
Best he can do is be a nuisance to those working around it tbh
Like actively slowing down conversations on fully discontinuing the products attached to the storefront to further stretch out its life?
Or being annoying with tech and just? Not being helpful. When people are having system issues that cause delays in work despite being a main contact.
And in general probably being more nosy in places he probably shouldnât be tbh.
Stuff like that!
Thereâs a chance that some of this gets tweaked the slightest bit / elaborated more on later since I am always Indecisive, but those are the vibes!
Thanks for asking :D!!! Also again if anyone has any questions on literally anything from this silly AU feel free to ask!!!!!Â
#reverse entry au#isat modern office au#asks#isat spoilers#<- the literal king#and also tangential relations to discussion of act 3 sorta kinda#better to be safe than sorry!!#fun fact i very briefly entertained giving#giving the king#a limited edition burger king crown as the sentimental item instead#like the halloween one??? that one!!!#and??? he would just wear it to show off that he had it????#ASFASDAS very funny in my mind but doesnt make much sense for this setting#probably better suited for a fast food au tbh#someone PLEASE take that and use it it would be SO FUNNY (at least to me LMAO)#may the king get his limited edition crown and parade it around because he can#um yeah!#tag talk over SAFASFDSAF

THE GLIMM*R ZINE IS AVAILABLE FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD TO BACKERS AND IT'S SO GOOD IT'S SOOOOOOOOO GOOD I think it has a good mix of requited/unrequited, mundane/fantasy, literal/figurative (though dreams inherently skew more figurative than literal) (maybe more... a good balance between a 'concrete' implementation of 'dream' in the sleep sense, and 'abstract' implementation of 'dream' as the wish/goal sense?)
all the artists did a great job, I think every single story was complete and satisfying and competently executed (though obviously some of them hit my biases more than others). I can think of positive and unique things to say about each story. so I will.
Midnight Smack by Anna Chen Campbell: The art style is fun and distinct and very expressive, I loved the role reversal of a fantastical creature being in the position of going What The Fuck. Very solid meet-cute!
Dear Nina by Kristina Luu: The story is told through the perspective character reminiscing of the past, which means a nice intimate first(/second) person narration. I really liked the mood whiplash of wistful longing and seething cynicism, the atmosphere is top-notch.
Good Morning, Rose by Rowan Maccoll: I love the dream vibes in this one--it really captures that experience of going along with different scenes that aren't supposed to cohere, disjointed in a way that works for the story. I love how the... not-really-negative space is used during the true form reveal, very atmospheric.
R.E.M. by Jona Li: It's one of the heavier stories because [spoilers] the narrative centers suicidal ideation/suicide attempt, and I think the artist does a good job with emotional nuance; I also like that there's ambiguity whether the subject of the dream is their real self, or a projection of the dreamer. The contrast between hard/soft textures is super arresting.
Merderous by Gabrielle Kari: The first of three illustrations! Alas, the two-page spread is broken up in pdf format... I can't wait to get my physical copy so I can see it in its fully glory... it's got what's clearly an intricate narrative with no context or explanation, so you get to puzzle out your own interpretation if you want, which I liked.
Eternal Waltz by Adeline Kon: EXTREMELY heated drama between women. It has resentment, it has longing, it has separation and bitter reunions, it has violence, and it has a butch woman who's definitely an arrogant fuckboy. I want fifty more comics just like this.
Derailed! by Kimberly Wang: I'm very unfairly biased towards this comic because I've been following this artist for a while and I Love Their Work. Great composition, great expressions, great energy, just all around great stuff (there's also an interview about Of Thunder And Lightning in this zine!). Anyway, they described this comic as "type A hobonichi girlie meets girl who's perpetually late and has no impulse control, who survives", it's very funny and very charming and I knew I'd love it from the very first preview. and I was right. I want fifty more comics of this duo.
The Visitor by Yuchen H: The second illustration, which is also the cover of the zine. The art looks so soft and edible, really captures a dreamy atmosphere. I want to bury my face in those feathers. The pain (and longing...?) for someone ignorant to the impact of their own actions... solid vibes.
One Last Dream by Laura Rovinsky and Ez Carol: The protagonist is an old woman in hospice care, which really grabbed my interest. Despite the heavy premise, it's super sweet and cute and Filled With Joy, and there were a lot of elements I liked (the main character being active in working with the love interest, the main character's waking life being enhanced by the dream, etc). I would love to see more old women protagonists!
Step By Step by Jess Fleming: I liked the maze setup--the artist did cool stuff like the blueprint-to-completed-gardens page, and the atmosphere's very... I think liminal fits best. Also, the impossible status divide between a groundskeeper and a noblewoman who's in an arranged marriage to end a feud, AND the emotional implications of constructing the maze PLUS having to guide the noblewoman to her betrothed? Very good setup for The Longing
Love Everlasting by Ellen Mei: The third and final illustration. VERY clear narrative and VERY heated drama. I love an unethical scientist and I love how Very Definitely Unhappy the android looks about the situation. Sooo tasty and unhinged, nobody's getting out of this unscathed.
anyway, those are my thoughts, must-read for yuri enthusiasts, if you didn't get the chance to back the kickstarter definitely pick up a copy once it's for sale. I love it.

For the Reverse Unpopular Opinion meme: would love to give you the excuse to talk about voyager. (or if that's too easy, something you like about your least favorite star trek series??)
i love voyager. so so much. i tried to think if i love another star trek series i've seen any less than voyager, but i can't honestly say that i do? i love ds9, tos, discovery, and, yes, even snw. i am in the embarrassing position of admitting that i really just love star trek, in a mostly uncomplicated way.
of the things i love about voyager, the premise is probably the biggest one. i have rambled about this a lot already but: i think it confronts for the first time in star trek the inherent sadness associated with us studying the stars--and therefore the sadness that science-fiction writers mostly imagine their way out of, often as a way to speculate a time when this reality may be less real: the fact that space is big. it is too big. the fastest human beings have ever traveled, with their own bodies along for the ride, still isn't fast enough to get us to the moon in less than three days. light--the speed limit of the universe--needs a full eight minutes to get from the sun to us--a relatively close planet. space is enormous. we measure things that are "close" in light-years. everything is so spread out and that's just from the perspective of being inside a galaxy, which is actually crowded when compared to intergalactic space. everything is so far away and so long away and it feels impossible to think of getting anywhere in a time meaningful to us and our lifespans. which is in its own way heartbreaking.
and while in voyager they are clearly not alone in the way we feel we could be (and in practice are until we get the smallest sign that even non-intelligent life exists off our very own special rock) with all the aliens they meet and the fact that they are on a ship that can go faster than light, they are stranded and they are on their way back home and it will still take them a life-time. that's the reality of the story: that they will spend the rest of their lives trying to get back. and though i know they do get back much quicker than that, where i'm at in the beginning of season 3 that is still the reality of it. and this makes literally everything that happens in the show so fascinating--even if it's a plot or an idea that not only happened in another series but was done technically better in that series. every plot in voyager is colored by the tension between what the star trek ethos is as a whole--exploration and diversity and learning and humanity--all in an optimistic light--and what voyager is about--getting back home. it makes me think of the tension in the actual "voyagers," somewhere now in interstellar space, and the golden record with a map of earth's position etched onto it: spacecraft meant to never be returned but contained on them is a deep, deep hope that in some way they will be. this tension, to me, affects everything on the show.
but that's maybe too big an idea without specific examples from the series--i might ramble about that at another point lol
in the spirit of your question, i will say there is one star trek property that i don't particularly care for on the whole and that's the 2009 movie (and sequels). but i will also say what that movie did right and what i do love about it even if i don't love the movie as a whole is how it portrayed the high-tech poetics of star trek in a much more immediately understandable way than even the 90s shows could for a 21st century audience. the "apple-store" aesthetic is really an argument about how this is the future and it's sleek and stylish and humans have advanced in their engineering and scientific abilities. and among this high-tech argument is uhura front and center: she's very loudly and explicitly a linguist and she fits in this silicon-valley look despite the fact that nowadays things like linguistics are considered "soft sciences" in a general way and treated like that very specifically by the tech-industry now (the attitude being "there's an app for that"). but uhura makes a central discovery in one of her labs at the beginning of the movie which gives her and kirk a leg up on understanding the Movie Threat. the 2009 movie significantly raised her importance as a character, to the point that the "main trio" in those movies is, arguably, more kirk/spock/uhura than it is kirk/spock/mccoy---especially if you're going by the movie posters.
also they gave her this line:
UHURA: And did I not, on multiple occasions, demonstrate an exceptional aural sensitivity, and I quote, "an unparalleled ability to identify sonic anomalies in subspace transmissions tests?"
which is excellent world-building about communications-officers, if you care for that sort of thing. and it provides a starting point for an argument about how listening to a universe (famed quiet due to the lack of material through which sound can travel) is essential to understanding it---an idea that can be further extrapolated via sci-fi regarding things like: listening to gravitational waves if we record them right; or working on the idea that all matter is but a vibration in a quantum field; or, from a more cultural concern, the implication that it is absurd to think you can travel to an alien world and not bring someone with an "exceptional aural sensitivity" who can facilitate an exchange of language and, thereby, meaning.
#star trek#thanks so much for asking!!!#i love rambling on and on about star trek apparently. really enjoyed this exercise y'all#voyager#star trek: aos#uhura

TOUCHSTARVED AND THE MAJOR ARCANA
this is something that I just noticed but please educate me if I got something wrong or the way I formatted things is incorrect. Those will be noted in the future.
So the Major Arcana right?
I think that the Senobium is the Tower card. Not only because the Academia is literally the long tower in Eridia, it's probably because the tower is a disaster card.
"A lightning bolt strikes the tower which sets it ablaze. Flames are bursting in the windows and people are jumping out of the windows as an act of desperation."
"They want to escape the turmoil and destruction within." This probably theory at Vere wanting to escape the Senobium.
"The Tower is a symbol for the ambition that is constructed on faulty premises." There's a theory about Kuras giving knowledge to the Senobium and the Senobium used at some point?..
I could already guess that Leander is The Magician Card. It sort of fits his description and could also predict what kind of person he is.
"This is a rather complicated phrase, but its summarization is that earth reflects heaven, the outer world reflects within, the microcosm reflects the macrocosm, earth reflects God. It can also be interpreted here that the magician symbolizes the ability to act as a go-between between the world above and the contemporary, human world."
"..he takes the potential innate in the fool and molds it into being with the power of desire. He is the connecting force between heaven and earth, for he understands the meaning behind the words "as above so below" - that mind and world are only reflections of one another. Remember that you are powerful, create your inner world, and the outer will follow." AS ABOVE SO BELOW where did we hear that from?
"... reversed Magician is a master of illusion. The magic that he performs is one of deception and trickery. You may be lured in by the showmanship of his arts, but behind that there may be an intention to manipulate for selfish gain. It might mean that there is someone who pretends to have your best interests at hand when the opposite is true." Remember when Leander's magic flower is just an illusion?
But yeah, that's all.

I forget if I ever mentioned The Batman's Clock King to you (Saw your TAS Clock King reblog) but I adore The Batman's version.
Literally just a regular guy with a new born son and a household strapped for cash. His attempt to steal something to keep them afloat leads to a daisy chain reaction that sees a lot of people hurt so the court throws the book at him for what otherwise would have been petty theft.
He's good at fixing clocks due to it being a hobby, so prisoners & guards keep having him do it cos its free. But constantly being surrounded by clocks steadily causes him to suffer sanity erosion as he languishes in all the time he's losing. The ticking becomes to deafening and all consuming all he can think to do is scream.
STOP
& it does, for just a moment.
He has such a close bond with time by the time he gets out he can reverse time by about 5 seconds, but that is as far as he could go. With his wife having had to leave him, his son now basically an adult and not knowing him and no prospects he sets out for revenge.
IE, he plans to basically blow up a huge chunk of Gotham, they stole his life, so he will steal theirs. Fighting Batman is just like, something that has to happen when the caped crusader shows up to stop him stealing the tools he needs to build his mega bomb.
What's fun, even outside all the drama and clock stuff, is that he's otherwise a literally hilarious villain. He doesn't have a suit or a gimmick, he's just a regularly dressed guy in pants, shirt and jacket. He also makes it a point to rewind time so he can deliver effective banter that doesn't make him sound dorky & sometimes steals people's insults.
IE in the opening he steals something and trips, the security guard says "Nice job captain kluts" so he rewinds time and trips the guard on it instead, and returns the favor before bailing.
This also allows for a lot f comedic screw ups like trying to spring a trap by dropping tons of barrels on Batman only to hit the wrong button, "Typical" he sighs.
This minor time rewinds also lets him beat Batman, Robin & Batgirl, simply cos he can keep replaying till he knows exactly what they'll do before they do.
Though a weakness I stole for my Snake Miraculous, is that if he does this enough times others start getting a sense of dejavu, only a little but it an help.
What's extra interesting is that he actually 'wins' in the sense that even that dejavu thing isn't enough for Bruce to think he can be assured victory. So he sends Batgirl to get the guys son, which means his kid is at ground zero of the poison when it goes off and starts killing everyone in Gotham.
Cue him freaking out and resetting time back tot he moment he tried to steal the watch and not doing so. Then smash cut to like 18 years latter and he and his son are clock repair guys and it ends on a happy note.
Dunno, he's just a great villain and fun character; plus the premise feels like it could be its own original movie. Plus I do lie the dejavu weakness, its just subtle enough that it wouldn't help most people, but just enough of an Achilles heel that it means time rewinding doesn't mean auto win.
that's cool actually

I was recently reminded again of how much Diluc has hurt Kaeya and not apologized for it and that pissed me off, so I would like to request something along those lines please.
Like, Kaeya's S/O learned what happened during the ragros's fallout and they are PISSED at Diluc for it? Like, they do acknowledge that Kaeya did a not-good in revealing his origins at literally the worst possible time, but what Diluc did was way worse?! And they so badly want to punch him for it?!?! You don't have to write them punching Diluc, honestly you can take this premise in whatever direction you wish, though I do hope for not so much angst and more reverse-comfort for Kaeya.
I just want to read about someone who loves Kaeya and who is pissed at all he's gone through, especially because he has every right to be angry about it and to want an apology but he never seems to advocate for himself, and that just makes me even sadder for him and even angrier at those who hurt him and I just want to hug him and prevent the world from hurting him again AAAAAH!!!
Sorry, I hope this request is of some interest to you, no pressure if it's not, also sorry if it's too detailed ^^;
When Kaeya told you the truth about himself you did your best to remove yourself from the situation and look at it objectively. He looked so nervous and worried that you couldn't help but pity him, telling him that you're not upset or thinking about leaving him, you just need time to process.
As soon as you're done Kaeya makes some passing comment about being glad he didn't lose you the way he did Diluc. It makes you pause as you ask him to clarify. You hear him immediately covering up for Diluc and telling you that he didn't do anything wrong. Somewhere, you understand that Kaeya's defending him because he still cares for Diluc a lot but you just wish that Diluc responded a little bit better.
You decide to ignore your anger at Dilucin favour for taking care of Kaeya. He looks almost defeated, unsure what you're thinking of saying to him. You sit with Kaeya and tell him that while you can understand why Diluc did what he did, he didn't need to hurt Kaeya. He tries to contest your statement but you simply shake your head, trying to wrap your mind around just how much Kaeya has been through.
The two of you end up spending the rest of the night with each other. You hold Kaeya in your chest, reassuring him that he's done nothing wrong and that he's carrying an impossible burden. He feels his burden lessening at your kind words, reassured that you don't hate him for something he can't help.
He doesn't tell you everything all at once. It's far too much and he tells you as much, wanting you not to feel as though he's purposefully trying to hide something from you. However, he does tell you that he wants to tell you everything and that he's done hiding his past from you. You feel grateful that he's willing to open up to you so much, telling him it's okay for him to take his time and that you're more than willing to wait patiently for him to tell you at his own pace.
You also try to help him talk to Diluc again. You know how much their strained relationship hurts him and you know they both would be much happier if they just communicated about what happened. It takes some time but Kaeya's happy with any progress being made, Diluc's slight aversion leaps ahead of outright hostility Kaeya has resigned himself to.

Total Drama Fic Rec Week Day 6: Favorite Romance
It's time for romance! Many in fact because I'm horrible at chosing specific ones I like! Trust me though, this is my abridged version of favorites.
Most of it is variations of Alenoaheather because I'm going to spread my agenda one way or another. But hey, I put a Zemma fic in there to mix things up!
I'm also still one for dark fics, in this case toxic relationships. I've included them but once more I've separated them in case that doesn't suit your fancy.
Definite Proof by courtney-deserved-better: Zee is finally ready to confess to Emma, but first has to find her. It's part of a Reboot cast High school AU, though reading the other parts aren't necessary. Though I do highly recommend it. Also, the summary contains the phrase 'And Axel has been waiting for someone to let her use them as a human javelin.' What more could you want?
c'mon, c'mon and love me normally by alphaclown @xxalphaclownxx: A Noaheather oneshot where Noah and Heather dance in a masked masquerade. It does a phenomenal job of setting up an atmosphere of teasing and getting caught in the moment with little dialogue needing to be said.
Astronomy in Reverse; It Was Me Who Was Discovered by HenkePenke: An astronomer Noah catches the eye of two minor gods. Alenoaheather that's a god AU, which I don't think there's enough of in the TD fandom.
Meet-Ugly by HenkePenke: Noah goes on a walk with his dog and runs into two new people. Literally. Alenoaheather first meeting fluff featuring Noah's dog being a matchmaker.
Toxic Relationship Fics
The Clearing by cloudyskiies: Noah stumbles into a circle of mushrooms and meets a guy who's off putting, though he can't quite figure out how. Has Alejandro as an old school fae. Think a Meet-Cute gone horribly wrong. It's a great premise and a fascinating read. Contains obsession and possessiveness.
breathe you in my lungs and make you mine by @kijosakka: An Alenoaheather oneshot where Noah's ability to pick apart Alejandro and Heather has them become very interested in him. Obsessively so. It's a riveting exploration of what it would take to lead people to the point of obsession. It's got obsession, possession, and oh so much codependency.
