Colin/Alina would probably be the biggest non-canon pairing, but not really “crack” because they are friends in canon and depending on how I write the actual 1989 Whitbread when we get there, it’s possible the comics writers were teasing it as a possibility. (And people being attracted to the symbolism of shipping a Soviet woman with someone from the West in the period the Cold War was ending.)

I don’t think there would be a lot of shipping-with-other-GG-members going on, as the only one really of comparable age is Alex Hughes and everyone knows the dominant crack ship there would be Alex/AEGIA.

In the meta-setting, people might crossover-ship Colin and Ororo Munroe as the two most famous weather-controlling heroes in comics.
