#police coming to work in a bit#a man threatened to wait for end of shift and stab my boss and me for not refunding a tent#that he didn't have with him#i gave him the biggest discount i could yesterday cs he's set up in the park#and then he couldn't get it back in the bag so he left it where it was? and demanding a refund?#obvs no so he said he'd wait and stab us for it#and called me a dyke#so now the police are coming round in an hour#ugh#i don't want to speak to them#but boss already reported it and the person on the phone was like 'at work or at home?'#and fuck everything im not having police in my house absolutely not#so.#ugh.#but! i did not get stabbed when i went and got my lunch! so that's good!#and in 2 and a half hours ill be out the city omw to mum's#so that's good.

every time I watch a war related movie and they play the reveille i get spooked i HATE that melody
#im not hurridly putting on my uniform and running out of a tent at 5 in the morning to go run 2 miles#boy scout camp? more like BOOT CAMP#also i was the troop leader so i had to get everyone else out of the tent and make sure they were presentable#and god forbid it took more than 5 minutes#we were six people in one of those old ass orange tents#its a two people tent !!#i do miss being a boy scout tho it was fun whenever it didnt feel like the military#i used to do scout competitions#got me a mational champion trophy in boy scout (lie we did not win#we totally fucked up the first aid test)#won knot tying tho 💪#ok im just talking now so if you're still reading this won't be short#we had to get a person as high up as possible#and all we got was like 4 long ass tree trunks?? like skinny long round tree things (i hate the english language idk)#and rope#and because i was the shortest i had to hold onto the top of one of the trunks#while the others pulled me like 8 meters into the air#scary as fuck considering i was like 5' back then#won tho 💪💪#i really loved being a scout#we were called boy scouts but it was gender neutral#we hated the girl scouts™ tho#all they did was bake cake and make friendship bracelets while we had to shit in the forest#also they were just really mean like wow#nobody knows how to insult like a girl scout#i loved being troop leader#i liked helping people and being a problem solver and having my troop come to me w problems was SO awesome#until this one time when a girl woke me up in the middle of the night crying#*scene set: like 3am in a tent in the forest*#“😢 i dreamt the scout leader stabbed your eyes out with a cheese cutter 😭😭😭😭” HELLO??? WHAT THE FUCK GOODNIGHT

weekend melancholy is starting to kick in >~<
#im gonna go and do my food shop etc to keep myself busy and hopefully my 2nd meds will kick in and we'll be able to handle it together#i think i kind of do this so regularly bc my brain is just processing everything bc i dont rly have time during the week#all cool tho im doing good overall def on the up n i feel way more capable of coping emotionally which is nice. i <3 meds#also.. possibly settling on the idea that i might be agender. very tentatively. lots of experiences n thoughts coming together rn#ive been reacting in unexpected ways to a lot of gendered shit atm which has made me reconsider the way i think abt myself#but very difficult to articulate it to myself let alone anyone else. so ive been sitting with it for now until it precipitates#gender stuff has never rly affected me much or ive never been in a place to explore it which is why i havent thought abt it super hard#but im not the sort of person who needs a lot of internal exploration to figure out my identity like im v self aware tbh#and while im wildly indecisive abt most things in my life for some reason i never have been abt stuff like this. i learned abt lesbianism#like idk 9 years ago-ish and straight away was like yeah that makes sense for me. never looked back since#n similarly ive experienced forms of gender dysphoria before n just immediately dealt with it symptomatically n moved on#its never been smth to agonise abt for me like i know what makes me comfortable in my skin so theres no question abt doing it#and ik im privileged to be able to do that. and also it helps that gender for me is mostly divorced from external perceptions#+ that im v autistic so social pressures dont stick to me very well. i mean yeah i was bullied for it as a kid but i was stubborn asf#so yeah from the moment i realised i was genuinely uncomfortable/upset abt it earlier this week i was like okay. lets try this instead#its given me pretty instant relief from any distress i was feeling so far which is nice. rare respite from one of my torture labyrinths#just testing out internally whether it frames things more clearly n makes me feel more myself/at peace before i choose to stick w the idea#but not gonna do a whole coming out fanfare either way. dont think i wanna change how ppl interact w me + im still a dyke#so i dont consider it relevant to anyone else unless they share a similar understanding of gender to me. or if we're v close#ill prolly broach it w other trans friends eventually bc insert philosophers talking image. but to everyone else its business as usual#happy to play my cis-sona at work. + w new queer ppl i meet ive been introducing myself recently w mirrored pronouns instead of any/all#and i think i prefer that. virtually indistinguishable but theres smth nice abt inviting ppl to recognise me the way they do themselves#like translating + localising a non-gendered language into a gendered one... simplifying decisions abt how to perceive me#and ofc ppl are still gonna perceive me however but idc much unless we're actually friends. the rest is all a performance anyway#doubtful anyone on here ever has reason to refer to me but if u do for some reason... im freeloading off ur pronouns now btw <3#but yeahhh. much 2 think abt. i need to read more alien/ai sci fi.. non-human sentience has been such a comforting concept lately#but yea tldr i woke up one morning this week like damn im prolly agender but i have a full time job to go to rn so idc abt that#.diaries#okkkk my dex is kicking in im no longer on the verge of tears lets go get these groceries wooohoooo

driving up 2 my uni city on friday n moving into my new uni room in my new house...cant wait 2 decorate it i have such a plan i have posters i am so so excited.... : ^ )
#havent seen my room yet in person!! i couldnt make it 2 the viewing and well since our backup plan was 2 live in a seven person#tent on the downs because housing was so hard 2 come by...i did then go to visit the house on another day and though the girls who let#us look around were very very lovely to do so they DID misinform regarding the fact that there was no one else in the house but them#so when my friend tried to have a look in what would be my room she accidentally walked in on a bloke in bed xx ANYWAY ive seen#pictures and videos its going to be so cute its got a slant roof a little loft room...goign 2 have a double bed for thee first time in my#life...ive got so many things to put on the walls...i want to get candles wasnt allowed candles in the old room....might even get#one of those little trolleys those trolley shelved things? for a bookshelf#or plants perhaps...its going to be the best room ever i think personally considering what i had to work with last year i did very well and#this room is far cuter...yay....#(ridi's) bigmouth strikes again

boston2 anniversary is kind of crazy
#kind of was the start of the worst miserable downfall of my entire life#but also was kind of the only surface break in a full year of drowning#so mixed feelings bc i feel like were it not for the post concert crash i feel like my sophomore slump would’ve been much better#but in a way if i hadn’t had mcr or boston2 that year i would have probably died#i was shocked when i saw it had been a year#bc i feel like that felt so far into the school year and my depression last year#and this year it’s only the first week of school!#but emotionally it feels like it’s been 2 or 3 years#like my soul has aged like 5 years since then#i am making no sense bc im high but idk i feel like i need to commemorate it#one of the saddest and most special moments of my life and triggered so much feeling in me#like i was the weirdest worst person in the world for not fitting there or here#it sounds like im ragging on it but i really needed the change in my worldview and my thought about my place in the world and at harvard#it was my lifesaver. it was the best day of my life last year. it was the first and last time I felt beautiful in 2022#my hair is like that again after a year of growing out. I feel like I’ve completed a cycle & a rebirth or something since then#and famous last words was a religious experience to me that I assume is how a born again feels in a Baptist tent#thank you for being there those of you who went you have no idea how much you changed my life
