While Barty had expected to stay the night with Evan in the Slytherin dorms, he had not expected waking up a whole hour later than he usually does.

That mistake led to a panic filled morning. He was sure they were going to be late to breakfast with how panicked Evan was, sorting through the mess they had made as an attempt to hide their rendez-vous from his roomates, who probably already knew about them. They took 5-minute showers, and Barty used cosmetic spells so he didn't have to deal with his hair.

They managed to get to the Great Hall in time though. Not a lot of time for them to eat, but enough to at least say hello to friends.

Barty takes his seat at the Ravenclaw table, sitting across from Emmeline. He leans over the table and grabs a piece of bacon before greeting her. "Morning Em."

She places the letter she was reading in front of her and looks up to answer Barty. The greeting dies on her tongue however. "Trying out a new style I see?"

"What?" Barty asks, finishing off the bacon strip in his hand. Emmeline looks down to his shirt before letting a small laugh out. "You should stick to blue next time."

Looking down to his chest, Barty finally sees the object of Emmeline's teasing. He was wearing a Slytherin tie.

Evan's tie.

"Fuck," he mumbles. He yanks the fabric off of his neck and quickly shoves it into his pocket. Hoping not too many people have seen him yet.

Emmeline doesn't stop smirking when she asks Barty, "So. Who is he?"
