Just saw someone refer to the literal footage of the pogrom in Southern Israel as âZionist Propagandaâ so like. Get blocked. Fuckstick.
You antisemitic monsters cannot wail for âevidenceâ of the atrocities committed by Hamas because you refuse to believe it happened despite the seemingly endless accounts (and yet you were willing to accept that Israel bombed a hospital without a second thought) and then refer to the video evidence TAKEN BY FUCKING HAMAS ITSELF as âZionist Propagandaâ.
At this point ANY good faith I had in you fucking antisemitic shitstains is gone. At least the Nazis are up front about the fact they see me as subhuman. You whine and wail about needing more proof and then when we have it, you claim itâs propaganda.
Just call me a kike and leave like I know you want to. Just be honest about the fact that your care for Palestinians only extends to the length that it allows you to celebrate Jewish death.
We will NEVER trust you again. Ever.
#antisemitism#i/p#I am fucking livid#never forget my ass you monsters REVEL in our suffering#i will never forget this glee at Jewish blood and I will NEVER forgive any of you#you all claimed to support me when I was queer and disabled#but the second Iâm a Jew then I deserve to die#controversial opinion but imo leftist antisemites are worse than the Nazis rn#becaus at least the Nazis are OPEN about hating me#leftist ghouls hide that shit so they can use the movement for a marginalized peopleâs freedom#as a shield when they start spewing their antisemitic racism

(Vague post)
Popular analog horror has gone down the antisemetism rabbit hole so I no longer feel bad about using a vaguely similar idea. I think we need a Jewish analog horror ARG in fact
#Nah theyâre not just supporting Palestine if they talk about Israel spreading propaganda and âgetting what they deserveâ#And âfacing consequences by powers less cowardly â#Oh yeah Iâm sure youâre not antisemetic when youâre threatening that more powerful countries will nuke Israel off the planet uh huh mhm#Anyways if anyone wants to join me in creating a completely jewish analog horror arg hit me up itâs our time#mango rambles#personal fruits#jumblr#×׊ר×××ר#Not naming names but the fact is you can probably think of like. Five examples#Cool cool this doesnât make me scared about content in the future at all.#I sound joking and all but Iâm actually legit terrified#No space is safe for me#Not the magical girl fandom. Not the animation fandom. Not music or art. And now not even online horror#I legit have no place left. The only ones accepting me are either run by Jews or VERY small communities that donât care about politics#When we say we are alienated now- think of what I just said#Every group has run me out of it. I canât talk about anything I like without fearing for my online safety.#And people think this is an appropriate price for me to pay despite being a disabled queer mentally ill person. Someone who theyâre suppose#To protect. WHO they still claim to protect. But when you add Jew#Or heaven forbid Israeli#To the mix. Suddenly you donât get inclusivity anymore#WHO CARES if your hopes for the future rest on you creating art because youâre never gonna be able to support your family or get a real job#Shouldâve thought about that before you parents were born in Israel if you wanted to be treated as a human being#Fuck everyone. My hopes for the future are legitimately so gone Iâm always looking forward to dying so these people can be happy.#All I want is for everyone to be happy even at my expense. Sure my family will grieve#But millions of people will cheer for my death. That outweighs it. Itâll bring so much more happiness if I die.#This is my state now#I hope all you fucking Americans are happy. The country is going through a mental health crisis caused by you and youâre laughing#And tearing down posters of our cousins and siblings and friends. about salem from my twitter
here are my thoughts, me and salem have been talking a lot in private about everything that has happened to him over the years, and just how much people act entitled to dehumanize salem as a person over rumors of him being a weird groomer pedophile, which he isn't and never has been, and I would not be defending a pedophile on my platform đ
Salem is NOT faking any of his disabilities (another claim people love to make as if he is a psychotic person just for the fun of it and just to get out of this hot water, which you know is EXTREMELY ableist) and any time any of this would come up in the conversation he would just freak out and have a mental breakdown reliving these horrible fucking memories of being harassed by all his peers and friends. It is debilitating, not just funny haha neurospicy mental illness. But actually required to take medicine to function and struggling with not being delusional. Hearing all these things people said about him on the internet made him believe it and he has ended up in psych ward due to this harassment many times, not to mention countless nights i spent calming him down and keeping him company just so he isn't alone with these thoughts. When people we have never heard of claim he is some kind of machiavellian evil person who orchestrated all this shit just to manipulate people into liking him and somehow tricked his friends into liking him, it really is disheartening and disgusting thing to say about a disabled black queer person in need of support and help from his community. And believe me people tried their best to sever him from any kind of support over the years, doxxing, harassment, trying to shame his friends for helping him you name it he has went through this.
This isn't just a cautionary tale, this is life ruining controversy that the internet put the random irresponsible 19 year old he was through. He is not what people claim him to be, and i am sick and tired of just how people hijack queer ocmmunities against themselves to fight their representation in media and art online. A lot of these rumors spread from lots of right wing spaces through the queer community and people just ate this fascist meal up.
I am glad he is still here and kicking, if it was anybody else put through this shit i am afraid they wouldn't have made it. But salem is strong and awesome and an amazing person, who has survived and is thriving too.
anyways, fuck twitter and everyone who has harassed him

Not proud to be here.
--
Ok, here goes draft like 5 of this fucking post. I spent 4 hours tossing and turning in bed last night thinking about this, and then this morning I found a tumblr post that really helped me understand what I was trying to say.
The post talks about how aromantic "advocates" claim that "aros don't take up resources, so there's no reason not to include them!" And if that's actually what people believe, I think I can finally articulate why it is that I feel so alienated in queer spaces.
It's because aspecs in general aren't "welcomed" by much of the queer community. We're tolerated. We perhaps get the luxury of not being contradicted on our own identities, or not being specifically kicked out of LGBTQ-only spaces, but that's the whole point: what we get out of the queer "community" is people NOT doing things, not actually doing things FOR us. And that, frankly, is not enough. We deserve conversations about us. We deserve to have others consider our feelings, even when making lighthearted jokes. We deserve varied, respectful representation in media. We deserve the active deconstruction of amatonormativity in society. We deserve to have space made for us, rather than at most being told we should "go take up more space!" ourselves.
Of course, the reality is that my being aspec is a personal matter that does not inherently affect anyone else. But the same can be said for literally any queer identity. Your being gay doesn't say anything about me, so of course I shouldn't hurt you for it, but why should I help you either? Because your happiness and comfort are important. The same goes for aspecs.
And most of the time, I don't even need anyone to make space for or expend resources on me; I can live fine in everyday, non-queer-specific places without mentioning my identity at all. But it's the queer community that claims it will make that space for me, doesn't, and then acts defensive and morally pure if I call out the hypocrisy because "we're queer too, you can't erase our identities to advocate for yours!!!!"
Again, this post isn't about specifics. I have queer friends who are incredibly thoughtful and supportive about my identity, just as I have non-queer friends who are. I find more solidarity in aspec-only communities, as well as trans/genderqueer ones, although there are still many exceptions. This post is also not about amatonormative ideology, which is extremely common from queer and non-queer people alike. This post is about the reason I've felt so betrayed by the queer community.
--
On a personal note, I remember being so excited when I started identifying as aromantic (and later asexual). Fitting myself into labels has been a lifelong struggle for me; to this day I still can't confidently say if I'm White or PoC, neurotypical or neurodivergent, abled or disabled, cisgender or not cisgender. I continue to struggle making friends because I don't fall into social cliques. To discover that I officially, certainly, was LGBTQ+ lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. And now I'm just so sad to find that despite that, I'm still stuck in the middle. I didn't get rewarded with a community. I still feel alienated from both queer and non-queer people. I know it was silly to get my hopes up when there's such vast diversity in both groups, but it really was a disappointment. Going to my first Pride parade last year was really the moment where I realized this.

Moon Studios' Thomas Mahler supports a hate movement
As someone who adores the Ori games, this is just awful in so many ways.
"Cancel culture" DOESN'T EXIST. What you're talking about is people demanding certain figures of power and influence to be held accountable for spewing bigoted hate speech or causing a toxic environment.
"Woke culture"? You mean a culture that acknowledges the existence of marginalized communities i.e people of colour, disabled people, queer, gender-non comforming people. Yet to you, that's somehow a terrible thing.
How dare you use a powerful poem dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust-the horrific tragedy of the history of humanity-to complain about your first-world persecution complex! To whine how sad it is that cishet white men like you own-*gasp*-slightly LESS of the world! Oh woah is me! You don't deserve to utter those words. Also, wanting more diversity, representation and equality in video games, game development and games journalism ISN'T THE SAME AS NAZISM! And don't me give that "The Nazis were socialists" bullcrap! THEY WERE FAR-RIGHT FASCISTS! You should know better. You're Austrian for crying out loud!
Having a women and minorities exist in video games and development isn't an "agenda". It's called KNOWING PEOPLE OTHER THEN CISHET WHITE GUYS EXIST. Also, "Hollywood" and "west coast developers" have nothing to do with this. Society is just changing, becoming more inclusive for the better and entertaining of all mediums are reflecting that. And that's great! Unless you have a problem with that.
Your friends were never "ridiculed" because they "didn't conform". Far from that tragic martyr rubbish you claim. They were rightfully reprimanded and fired for being bigoted jerks who didn't respect the humanity of marginalized people....just like you.
If you really believe the existence of minorities are "political", then I have nothing to say but SCREW. YOU.
Overall, there's just no way of putting it: Thomas Mahler is member and supporter of Gamergate.
Despite what they might tell you, Gamergate isn't and never was about "ethics" or "wanting fun apolitical entertainment". It is, has been and always will be a white supremacist hate movement (alongside Comicsgate and The Fandom Menace) dedicated to chasing women, LGBTQ+ people and BIPOC out of gaming and fandom. Its members and ringleaders are and have always been LITERAL NEO-NAZIS. Even when boycotting certain games over the supposed diversity consultants or the inclusion of minorities, they can barely hide their hatred.
Oh, and once again, THESE PEOPLE ARE LITERAL NEO-NAZIS:
(As evidenced by the "Embrace Tradition. Reject Modernity" white supremacist slogan*.)
Remember, if you still want to play his games, that's fine. I don't have the power to stop you. Just be warned that this developer stands with a hate movement.
*Hey, Nazi-turds, Japan and Korea aren't your Aryan utopias nor are their people your precious Aryan supergods!

Welcome! This blog is for those with CDDs (complex dissociative disorders) and other disorders to talk about their experiences, vent, etc! While the blog is focused on DID/OSDD-1/P-DID/UDD, you can talk about other disorders or just chat! Those who are questioning or singlets who are curious about these disorders may ask questions, though I'm not a professional and I encourage everyone to do their own research. Please let me know if you wouldn't like a response, if you're looking for advice, resources, etc
This is my first time running a blog like this, so please let me know if I say something incorrect or unintentionally rude. I have RSD and autism along with other things, so please be nice! You can use they/them for the owner of this account đ I'd prefer you not interact if: - You claim to be/support "non-traumagenic systems". This is impossible according to all current science on the matter. Systems are caused by trauma, and saying otherwise is insulting and ableist - You're a queer exclusionist - You don't support BLM, Free Palestine, etc - You demonize personality disorders/use the term "narc abuse" - You're a radqueer/transID People with personality disorders, psychosis, anti-contact/pro-recovery paraphiles, and proshippers are welcome. Antishippers are allowed as long as they are respectful. I don't care what your stance is on shipcourse, just be nice :) đ When sending in asks, please warn for: selfharm, suicide, homicide, child/animal death (especially if caused by people/manmade objects), incest, & sexual abuse (feel free to warn for other common triggers, or specific ones - the only thing I ask is to not warn for things like disabilities, scars, or food; ty!) đ SIGNOFF LIST

Neural Nets, Walled Gardens, and Positive Vibes Only
the crystal spire at the center of the techno-utopian walled garden
Anyone who knows or even just follows me knows that as much as I love neural nets, I'm far from being a fan of AI as a corporate fad. Despite this, I am willing to use big-name fad-chasing tools...sometimes, particularly on a free basis. My reasons for this are twofold:
Many people don't realize this, but these tools are more expensive for the companies to operate than they earn from increased interest in the technology. Using many of these free tools can, in fact, be the opposite of "support" at this time. Corporate AI is dying, use it to kill it faster!
You can't give a full, educated critique of something's flaws and failings without engaging with it yourself, and I fully intend to rip Dall-E 3, or more accurately the companies behind it, a whole new asshole - so I want it to be a fair, nuanced, and most importantly personally informed new asshole.
Now, much has already been said about the biases inherent to current AI models. This isn't a problem exclusive to closed-source corporate models; any model is only as good as its dataset, and it turns out that people across the whole wide internet are...pretty biased. Most major models right now, trained primarily on the English-language internet, present a very western point of view - treating young conventionally attractive white people as a default at best, and presenting blatantly misinformative stereotypes at worst. While awareness of the issue can turn it into a valuable tool to study those biases and how they intertwine, the marketing and hype around AI combined with the popular idea that computers can't possibly be biased tends to make it so they're likely to perpetuate them instead.
This problem only gets magnified when introduced to my mortal enemy-
If I never see this FUCKING dog again it will be too soon-
Content filters.
Theoretically, content filters exist to prevent some of the worst-faith uses of AI - deepfakes, true plagiarism and forgery, sexual exploitation, and more. In practice, many of them block anything that can be remotely construed as potentially sexual, violent, or even negative in any way. Frequently banned subjects include artistic nudity or even partial nudity, fight scenes, anything even remotely adjacent to horror, and still more.
The problems with this expand fractally.
While the belief that AI is capable of supplanting all other art forms, let alone should do so, is...far less widespread among its users than the more reactionary subset of its critics seem to believe (and in fact arguably less common among AI users than non-users in the first place; see again: you cannot give a full, educated critique of something's failings without engaging with it yourself), it's not nonexistent - and the business majors who have rarely if ever engaged with other forms of art, who make up a good percentage of the executives of these companies, often do fall on that side, or at least claim to in order to make more sales (but let's keep the lid on that can of worms for now).
When this ties to existing online censorship issues, such as a billionaire manchild taking over Twitter to "help humanity" (read: boost US far-right voices and promote and/or redefine hate speech), or arcane algorithms on TikTok determining what to boost and deboost leading to proliferation of neologisms to soften and obfuscate "sensitive" subjects (of which "unalive" is frequently considered emblematic), including such horrible, traumatizing things as...the existence of fat people, disabled people, and queer people (where the censorship is claimed to be for their benefit, no less!), the potential impact is apparent: while the end goal is impossible, in part because AI is not, in fact, capable of supplanting all other forms of art, what we're seeing is yet another part of a continuing, ever more aggressive push for sanitizing what kinds of ideas people can express at all, with the law looking to only make it worse rather than better through bills such as KOSA (which you can sign a petition against here).
And just like the other forms of censorship before and alongside it, AI content filtering targets the most vulnerable in society far more readily than it targets those looking to harm them. The filters have no idea what makes something an expression of a marginalized identity vs. what makes it a derogatory statement against that group, or an attempt at creating superficially safe-for-work fetish art - so, they frequently err on the side of removing anything uncertain. Boys in skirts and dresses are frequently blocked, presumably because they're taken for fetish art. Results of prompts about sadness or loneliness are frequently blocked, presumably because they may promote self harm, somehow. In my (admittedly limited) experiment, attempts at generating dark-skinned characters were blocked more frequently than attempts at generating light-skinned ones, presumably because the filter decided that it was racist to [checks notes] ...acknowledge that a character has a different skin tone than the default white characters it wanted to give me. Facial and limb differences are often either erased from results, or blocked presumably on suspicion of "violent content".
But note that I say "presumably" - the error message doesn't say on what grounds the detected images are "unsafe". Users are left only to speculate on what grounds we're being warned.
But what makes censorship of AI generated work even more alarming, in the context of the executive belief that it can render all other art forms obsolete, is that other forms of censorship only target where a person can say such earth-shaking, controversial things as "I am disabled and I like existing" or "I am happy being queer" or "mental health is important" or "I survived a violent crime" - you can be prevented from posting it on TikTok, but not from saying it to a friend next to you, let alone your therapist. AI content filtering, on the other hand, aims to prevent you from expressing it at all.
This becomes particularly alarming when you recall one of the most valuable use cases for AI generation: enabling disabled people to express themselves more clearly, or in new forms. Most people can find other workarounds in the form of more conventional, manual modes of expression, sure, but no amount of desperation can reverse hand paralysis that prevents a person from holding a pen, nor a traumatic brain injury or mental disability that blocks them from speaking or writing in a way that's easy to understand. And who is one of the most frequently censored groups? Disabled people.
So, my question to Bing and OpenAI is this: in what FUCKING universe is banning me from expressing my very existence "protecting" me?
Bad dog! Stop breaking my shit and get the FUCK out of my way!
Generated as a gift for a friend who was even more frustrated with that FUCKING dog than I was
All images - except the FUCKING dog - generated with Dall-E 3 via Bing Image Creator, under the Code of Ethics of Are We Art Yet?
#ai art#generated art#i want to make a stress toy out of that dog#i want to make a squishy stretchy plush toy#with weighted beans so it makes a satisfying THUNK when you throw it at the fucking wall#you did it you bastards you made a dog problematic

Do you love detective stories but hate cops?
Do you love gay detective stories and hate capitalism?
Like disabled main characters who's disability actually comes up?
Like characters of color but not in the mood for stories on racism?
Tempted by the thought of romance at ages of 30+?
Does the idea of stories so queer you'll hesitate before calling any character a "man" or a "woman" make you think "Ah, yes pronoun shenanigans, just like my discord used to make"
And you into an abundance of strong, diverse female and nonbinary characters?
Do you fight for women's wrongs?
I know rep-only recommendations can be annoying, but I'm trying to grab your attention to promote some Indie media. Luckily, though, this post isn't rep-only!
To read my full reccomendation and review of Three of Hearts, click below. âŚď¸âĽď¸âŁď¸â ď¸
And if you aren't in the mood for a new thing right now, consider reblogging! Maybe even ping a friend who might be into this! You love supporting queer indie creators!
Note: I am not involved with the making of the show or the game space Kings. I just really like this podcast.
The story
â ď¸âŁď¸âĽď¸âŚď¸Three of HeartsâŚď¸âĽď¸âŁď¸â ď¸ centers on two paragovernmental agents in a fantasy, post-war, queernormative 1950s.
Roughly 20 years before the opening, a set of heroes purged magic from the world to turn the tide of the war. But scraps of this thaumaturgic energy still remain. S.U.I.T.S (securing unpredictable injurious thaumaturgic situations) is an agency founded to deal with everything left behind.
When two of the longest standing employees at S.U.I.T.S, Agent Vellum and Agent Felspar, are called onto a new case involving stone crops and a missing person, Felspar isn't surprised (Though Vellum, who's injury had him doing desk work most of his career, is). Things devolve quickly when the Agents realize this case comes from Felspar's home town of Cloven heart, an idyllic magical village that prefers to handle justice on it's own.
Answers yield only more questions, as the Agents realize almost everyone in town has something to hide, and Felspar isn't the only one whose past keeps catching up to him:
How much magic is still around? What's Vellum got sloshing around in there that people think is so juicy? What is Diamond, elven pop star and queer icon, doing in such a small town? Just how big is this case, and how can the Agents balance their legal responsibility, with promises they've made to Cloven Heart?
WHEN. WILL. THEY. JUST. KISS?
(if you're skeptical about central romances, I get it! See notes on aro/aceness and platonic relationships in the rep section for more info)
The combination of magic and newfangled war tech â think telegrams and radios â is somehow just as charming as a rotating cast of characters who will each stake their claim on your heart, but betrayal is imminent and mistrust is rife. The story strikes a wonderful balance between slice of life goodness, and edge-of-your-seat high drama, culminating In a show I highly recommend.
But are they just reskinned cops: my answer has got to be no. While they are technically law enforcement, the main two are entering a commune-like space, where that isn't so welcome. It's a situation they treat with caution and respect. The classic cop-plot of "Should I make myself judge, jury, and executioner because The Bad Guy⢠deserves punishment" just isn't a problem. The justice system isn't perfect, in our world or the show's, and the story acknowledges that. But in a social, cultural way, they don't act like cops. They DO act like detectives. But the rules they choose to break and the ones they choose to follow will hopefully satisfy my fellow cop-haters who crave a good mystery
The format
â ď¸âŁď¸âĽď¸âŚď¸Three of HeartsâŚď¸âĽď¸âŁď¸â ď¸ is an Indie actual play â this is not DnD, hear me out â podcast in the game Space Kings. All the tension of dice rolls, without drawn out combat or clunkiness, it's a breeze of story-forward listening, even if you've never listened to actually play podcasts before!
If you've tried dnd actual plays, and haven't like the flow of them, I would recommend trying this. A few encounters that may feel random (though they're not) get the story kicked off at a fast pace, but it quickly settles into a story with a tight plot, great pacing, and impactful character development.
The use of a playing card deck to see the outcomes of risky actions means that no matter what happens, success or failure, the tension keeps rising. And the hosts do a wonderful job of explaining mechanics in the show, so it never interrupts the listening experience.
Actual-play connessuires who want to primarily see people playing a game might not be satisfied, as bonuses are given liberally, and I would describe the podcast as more story focused than game focused, But the risks are ALWAYS real, sometimes (often) with thrilling, shocking outcomes.
Also concerned AP listeners should know there's some chaos magic involved! I was surprised when it first came up, and doubtful about how it might affect the story, but it ended up weaving into the rest of the plot really well, and I feel neither like it had no affect, nor like it shook up everything the party was building in an unsatisfying way. Personally I would have preferred to go in knowing it was there, but I also don't think it's major enough to belong in the main synopsis. Now you know, though!
The hosts make a real effort to blend stats and story, and I think the pull it off wonderfully without spending too much time on mechanics. If you want to see that though, session 0 and other details are on the Patreon (where you get the same content no matter how much you pay, at a minimum of a dollar a month).
The pod has all the lighthearted fun and banter of a "friends around the table" show, but never once have I had that "oh my god, I'm not a part of your inside joke, shut up and play!" Feeling.
I think it's a delight for AP and non-AP fans alike.
The episodes: roughly 45- 75 minutes long, with a midtro and some post-end music scenes, so listen through the end music, or check that there isn't extra content by seeing how close the play head is when the end music starts. It's not too long and quite pleasant in my opinion! The midtros always come at a nice moment to step back from the story, and are not too long and not irritating. I enjoyed listening to them! At some point, a midtro starts getting reused, and I was slightly disappointed I wasn't hearing new jokes every episode, but it's a small thing. I skip the repetitive ones with my 30 seconds forward button, and while I haven't timed the Intro, that's worked really well for me. I don't have to fiddle with my play head to make sure I don't skip forward too far. Super convient.
Trigger warnings: the show is pretty lighthearted! Listeners sensitive non-graphic mentions of needles, blood, and/or guns might want to skip on this one, but most episodes don't get heavy. The few that do have pre episodes notes that warn you things get dark, how they get dark, and how to skip the darkest bits. Personally, I listened through them and enjoyed those parts a lot! But if that's not your thing, I agree with the warning that they're very skippable, and I think trigger-sensitive listeners will be pleased. As an indie pod, there are no fan made, super specific lists of triggers. However, my DMs are always open if you have particular concerns, and I'll answer to the best of my ability.
I try to emphasize the balance between lightheartedness and drama, but if you mental health is sensitive to grim & dark media, i think this one is pretty safe. Please always exercise caution! But I'd describe 30âĽď¸s as emotionally restful.
Transcripts: transcripts are in the works, but do not currently exist. Three of Hearts is a non-scripted show, so those are also unavailable
The rep
Don't you hate when someone raves about rep and you go in expecting something good and get like. One dog-boy described as having "chocolate colored skin"? Or when people make a "watch for rep" post and then mention like. Gay and maybe trans people and that's it, even when shows DO have disability and POC rep? Yeah that's not me. Here's the spoiler free rundown, race is at the bottom because I get into more detail with it, not because it isn't important:
Edit: For more on some of these topics from a hosts perspective, see the reblogged addition by @/citrusandsalt
MLM characters: Main characters, one confirmed bi the other unknown
Wlw characters: Reoccurring side characters (present or mentioned in every episode I think) Married. Orientation unspecified.
Enby love: LOTS. It's actually hard to really categorize mlm and wlw stuff because almost every character is nonbinary. Anywaysâ it's VERY queer
Women: I...I don't know exactly which characters are women đ. But there are many feminine characters, and they're badass as fuck. Some are compassionate, some are cold, some are chaotic, most are a mix! The two main characters are...masculine...(I say with much hesitation) but you will not feel robbed for your woman-ly content.
Non-traditional family structures: All of the families in the story, pretty much, are non-traditional. Adoption is super common. (You want some wlw who just KEEP adopting kids? You got em) Found family is a MASSIVE force in the story. Also, It's a post-war story.........which is to say almost everyone's parents are dead.
Edit: an MC had poly parents, which may not be obvious but is true!
Polyamory: to my knowledge so far, there are polyam characters, and it is definitely present in the world! But no poly relationships in the forefront. I am about 2/3 through the current episodes, so there may be a present polyamorous relationship later, but also if I confirmed it that would be a spoiler. This may be that "playing it by ear" thing that happens with ttrpgs. I wouldn't listen for the hope of polyamory alone, but I don't tell you it's not there/won't happen.
Trans characters: almost all of them. Might think "oh there are only a few!" And you are wrong. You are so wrong.
Neopronoun users: yup! To my knowledge, minor characters. A handful who use at least he/she/they or they/them and may also use neos in a manner im forgetting
Plurality: no system characters yet, but the creators are friendly, I asked ;)
Platonic relationships: YES. As an aro person who hates so many romance tropes this one gets my stamp of approval. There's no real jealousy drama, exes who communicate and are supportive, and romance doesn't kill friendships. There's a central sibling relationship and non-familial platonic ones that have conflict, drama, resolutions, and a deeply satisfying significance in the story. If you don't like romance at all, this one might not be for you. If you just don't like stories exclusively about romance, I think you'll enjoy this. Genre wise, I'd definitely describe three of hearts as a mystery primarily with a strong romantic subplot, not a romance itself, and that comes through in player and character's additives and priorities.
Aro/ace characters: none confirmed yet to my knowledge. Romance is very central, sex is joked about on occasion but it isn't at the forefront of the story at all. There are many, single characters who are thriving.
Edit: Actually! There is one character who discusses demiromanticism in cannon that I forgot, and another confirmed out of cannon character who is ace. Both are non-main major characters!
Age diversity: the youngest characters in the show are older to middling teens, and the oldest are in their 400s. Okay but the oldest in human terms are roughly 60-70. The most common age range, and the ones the central characters are in, is 30-40. The second most common is that 60-70, then some ~40-50 folks here and there, with people in their 20s being probably the rarest (no named ones off the top of my head?) And there are a small number of teens. This is not a story about youth and youthful beauty. Generally, the older a character becomes the most bad ass/spooky powerful they are, and older characters are very involved in the plot.
Mental illness and neurodivergency: to my knowledge so far no characters are in cannon confirmed to have a specific mental illness or ND, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of a character or the main characters, and just hadn't come up. Listeners with cluster b or "scary" disorders, or with conditions that may cause them to lash out, will find satisfaction with how compassionately the narrative treats werefolk. To say more encounters spoilers. I would also say that depression, while the word isn't used and it is not central to the story, is present as a narrative force, and also treated wisely and with compassion. Still, as is usually for a good story, all of these bitches need therapy.
Disability: LOTS. There's a lot of "different, not broken" themes that disabled listeners are likely to love, but both of the main characters are disabled! One is a cane user, the other experiences migraines. These have a genuine, pressing, mechanical impact on the story. It's COMES UP. It's a real joy. For a magical world, there is no magical healing! Or there is, but it isn't a perfect solution, which in my opinion is just a magical version of real healing, though yours may differ! Also, there is a minor, reoccurring character who's a wheelchair user, and I think he's really fun.
Disfigurement: Excuse me if I am not prepared with the most sensitive way to speak about this, but I'm doing my best! There is a character with no eyes or nose, who is central and lovely. To my knowledge, there are no amputee characters or characters with limb differences (of the wheelchair user I'm not sure if it's specified whether or not he has legs). There is a character of questionable morality who has significant facial and bodily disfigurement. In as few spoilers as possible: this was not injury or genetic related. The disfigurement is treated with a firm compassion, and does not exist as a "this character is evil" signal. It's a long arc, but I imagine people who relate will be satisfied, though I cannot speak for anyone.
Characters of color: many! The main two are Hispanic and Asian. Terms like "dark skinned" are used for characters, but in the fantasy world race doesn't exactly translate, and I wouldn't call it "important" in this story. Read more about race below:
Fantasy racism: sort of! The word "race" is used to mean "humanoid species" and I know some folks don't like that? None of these fantasy races are oppressed, but specific people (Magic versus non-magic people) have conflict about that aspect of their identity, and policing is a related concern. I would place the allegory more in the space of transness and disability/neurodivergency if pressed to choose, but it doesn't feel like it's trying to tell a story about real-world oppression, primarily. I have more complicated thoughts on exactly what I'm trying to communicate here, but they involved some spoilers. DM me for more info!
Hosts/creator identity: out of three hosts, two are white, one is not! They are very queer, and disability is also...a thing! These are real life people, so I'm not going to get into detail, but check out their twitters plugged in the show for more on how they self-identify.
Okay but are they racist: Real talk! As a black person who thinks I keep my ears sharp, I would say no! Not at all! This is one of those situations where I was like "YOU'RE WHITE?" And shocked about it, (if you listened to TSCOSI, same vibe) which is a very good thing in my books. The hosts are open and sensitive, and I have no complaints, however, this is just one perspective! This isn't coincidental, race is an active consideration in how the story is told â just not a central theme.
Edit: One of the hosts, Essay (@/citrusandsalts) discussed more on hosts identities in a reblog! If this concerns you, and you want less of me walking on eggshells about other people's identities, read her addition too!
Edit 2: Jordan, the GM also has commented additions!
Minor but worth mentioning: A minor character has a name with what I believe is the Nahuatl "tl" sound in it, which is not pronounced correctly. It's a really hard sound! I can't really do it! But if that really irritates you this might not be the podcast for you.
People who might be interested in this post, as always let me know if you don't want to be pinged (I rarely ever do this) and it won't happen again: @citrusandsalt @fyeahaudiodrama @boombox-fuckboy

First things first: I am not deactivating. Just. Taking a break.
Mututals: You can get my discord if I don't ask for yours before I leave in a couple days. You can also give me a snap though I may be worse at responding to that.
This is my reasons for leaving so no one thinks I do anything crazy, or if anyone has their own gripe they can take this as a sign to take a mental health break of your own.
.
The Racism on this site remains unchecked, and the agression against black user who call it out should absolutely NOT be that high. You adore recreating the racist systems that got us here in the first place. You think your lense on how we experience opression, even the theories we wrote, are better and clearly so much superior.
Exorsexism is disgustingly rampant. We are a jokes to people. We are fakes to other. We are a convenient argument about people passing. We are "dangerous" to a preciously protected set of binaries that do nothing to help any of us.
Lesbophobia across the site has no reason to be so high on a site with so many Lesbians and yet!! We treat labels like they're more important than lives. People act like a personal interpretation of the idenity is an attack. We go "Being a Lesbian is so complex. It's intricate and special" And then when a butch takes t, or a femmes uses he and maybe even gets top surgery, or someones attraction isnt the simply wlw Lesbianism they're told they're doing it wrong and that it's not fair to try and over complicate being a lesbian.
Transandrophobia and Transmisogyny against me and other trans people on this site is out of control. People are infighting and people are lashing out laterally and comparing it 1:1 to the opression the system holds against all of us.
Intersexism continues to be like, so easy for you guys to commit no matter how many voices speak up about how best to be aware of intersex issues.
You guys adore ableism just as you have for years and years. You're obsessed with degrading people who do mental illness or disability "wrong." You see someone stuggling with illness and you don't wait to tell them your personal opinion on their experience. Adding ocd triggering guilt tripping to post. Refusing to hear out people about adding image ids/alt images and how screen readers work.
The Antisemitism I was seeing well before 10/7 was gross. It only increased as people scrambled not to be associated with "the bad jew." People had mutuals and friends for years that abandoned them at the first chance. They spread lies or twisted truths in order to chose Jewish bloggers off the site. I DO notice that when people make post on antisemitism there is often more Jewish people than goy in the notes acknowledging it. I don't think I've seen one without horrid Antisemitism in it's own notes in months. Multiple people have told me to leave my heritage out of pride in their attempts to keep out Jewish people.
Voices from Palstine are only used when they support certain ideas. You all turned supporting people into a fucking witch hunt against profiles on the Internet. You reblog a post of Palastine joy and then reblog an unsourced tweet about something Palstinians have said isn't true, that slanders Jewish people unprompted. For a long time some of you weren't even sharing the right sources for helping them bc you couldn't fact check before sharing?
-
And then there's fucking STAFF. They couldn't stop themselves from banning trans blogs if you paid them. They couldn't keep harassment campaigns at bay if it killed someone.
They used us to coax queer people here for years by sharing that they support queer identities and even at one point let our porn exist here! And then it was all fucking wiped off the map. Now one mass reporting of an untrue claim can get an minorties blog permanently removed.
They say "We need money!" but when people gave it to them this site got w o r se. They use distractions and try and make stuff around the fun shit we came up with to keep us from fussing.
They mute and remove users who make a loud enough point to sway people. They mute and removes uses that are so quiet no one would notice.
Minorties inboxes are a headache.
.
So I'm out. I'll probably be back at some point because I have things I DO enjoy here.
But for mental health I just gotta catch my breath.
This will be my pinned until I get back I guess im case anyone wonders where I went.
I'll have a queue going of a few last minute things i want on my blog but when it runs out thats it for a while until I return.
Thats all

I am not sure if anybody has said this yet, but since I haven't seen it I thought of sending this so you have more variety of responses.
(To anyone else reading, and in case Ice is sensitive to any of these topics: Mentions of Emotional abuse towards children, homophobia, ableism, and obvious but not less important, racism.)
One of the biggest reasons I don't say anything, not just for anti-racism but other issues; is that I don't think it would change anything; because I tried for years and it didn't work.
I don't know about the rest of your followers, but my parents are the flavour of racist who would say "All Chinese people are ugly" or "Indian people always stink," but refuse to admit their racism because they think racism only means "I hate x racial group."
I tried, multiple times over the years, to talk to them about it. It didn't matter the tone, the fact that it was only that parent and me (ergo they can't claim I am trying to humiliate them,) or what words I would use; they would insist they arenât racists, and I am just trying to make them feel bad.
I am Venezuelan, and in my culture, at least how my parents saw it; anything that would make the environment anything less than pleasant was considered the biggest sin; and chances are, the person making the offence would not be considered the problem, you would.
I have a learning disability, and my mom has been aware of this fact since I was 2. When I started speaking, I had issues pronouncing some words, I had from kids to adults making jokes at my expense. If I cried or complained about it, I was being a cry baby, because they were only jokes and I shouldn't take them so seriously.
Fast forward almost 20 years later. My family has friends over, and I am just vibing in my room after having a little chat with the visits; until at some point I go to get a drink. I walked in and I overheard one of their friends saying how disgusting they think gay people are, and that they shouldn't be allowed to show affection in front of children. I am queer, and my family knows this. They didn't say anything against that person, no one else did; and to this day they continue to talk to her and invite her to the house.
Look, I am not trying to trauma dump here, I am bringing these two examples in particular because by the time I was an adult, I just went away because I didn't have the energy for a fight I wasn't going to win.
The type of people who refuse to accept their own racism, are the type of people that are probably refusing to accept they need to work on other things as well.
And not all of them, but a lot of these people can see their own kid suffering, even to the point of going to the hospital; and still refuse to accept they need to work on things.
And when you have the people who are supposed to love you and support you no matter what, not listening to you as they are hurting you due to their ignorance and their pride; why I would think I can make a random person on the internet listen to me? Why I would believe anyone else would agree with me when all my life I was told I was exaggerating by everyone?
It may not sound like it, but I am not trying to make excuses for myself, I wouldn't be sending this if I didn't think I am part of the problem in regards to not speaking out regarding anti-blackness and other forms of racism.
But since you need more answers, I thought it was important for you to be aware of this: A lot of racist people aren't going to stop being horrible just because is their family; so when you need to unlearn racism, you need to unlearn a lot of other things.
It doesn't excuse me, or anyone else from doing the work; but it makes things a lot more complicated.
Hm.

birthday and pronouns and fascism, oh my
since my birthday means it was time to update my blog bio, @actuallylukedanes made the excellent suggestion that i also post about it.
cuz while i needed to update my age (woo, a round number! maybe it won't take me six months of adjusting to remember how old i am, for once!) and i update my blog title constantly, sometimes more than once a day, lol...i also finally updated my pronouns.
so if you've known me for years or just happened by my little corner of the internet cuz you saw something you like, i don't know about you but i'm heading into my yeah maybe we're all gonna end up dead or imprisoned but i'd rather fight some fascists era as this coming year approaches.
so i'm here to support (and as much as i can, protect) my family and friends and people who need help, and i understand the battening down the hatches of every person who has to be more careful now, who can feel the precarity of their rights and safety more acutely than ever. i'm also worred about my own rights and safety, as a disabled queer mentally ill fat person in the world, whose only income is ssdi and only safety net is (wonderful, yet piecrust-precarious) community.
but i remain the same person who was labeled both 'ornery' and 'little miss contrary' by my grandmother as a child, and i suspect that's why my response to the truly horrific possible futures we could be heading into is Time To Get Louder Then. i don't plan to take ill-advised risks, but i also have no interest in quieting myself down.
therefore! since i have, for life/mental health reasons, ghosted my own blog for so long that i kind of didn't post through a lot of developments, i am here to say that my bio update includes pronoun changes because, well, pronouns (like people) change. though i haven't actually changed so much as figured out more accurate descriptors, over the last little while.
i've said on here for years that my gender is 'person wearing a red shirt at target' and that still feels true, because my identity is less a firm, specific thing than it is a lack of a thing. as somebody afab and socialized that way, some descriptors don't bother me at all, like terms of endearment from people i love. and broad common female pronouns (she, here) feel more clinical, somehow, as if that degenders them a little. whereas ones like 'ma'am' and even 'female' feel *more* gendered.
idk why that is, or why things that feel girly to me grate on my brain in the first place. but in my 20s and 30s, i couldn't explain why i identified as gay or queer yet was deeply uncomfortable with 'lesbian.' now i know, and as much as it feels like further complicating my descriptors (i've already got 5 different disorders! i contain multitudes!) it's a huge relief to have the language.
some of which, also wasn't new. i think i found the term agender a while back, at least a few years ago. i'd never seen a description that fit me before, not quite so well. i identify as lacking gender, wanting to exist outside of the recognition of gender--i understand the different gender labels/norms and respect them for other people, however they identify...but for me, gender feels like a lie.
it's only within the last year sometime that i finally figured out, with the help of resources via my best friend, that being agender fits under the nonbinary umbrella, which can also fit under the umbrella of trans. i've never thought of myself as someone with gender dysphoria, and that gave me this huge feeling of 'identifying as trans would be claiming something i have no right to.'
so i had to think about that a while. i had an epiphany moment (thanks to the barbie movie, of all things) where i had a physical reaction to a thing as if it were an attack directed at me. that was when i realized i may not feel like i have the right, thanks to internalized stuff, to call myself trans--but i feel part of the community whether i say it or not. and even though i don't mind 'she,' anytime my best friend refers to me with 'they' it gives me a little glowy feeling.
so, again, this might not be huge news for all of you. a lot of you have been my friends for years. but it's nice to officially add agender to my 'asexual queer-romantic' breakdown, and mentally expand the umbrella of where i fit, and with who. and it feels like well past time to do it publicly.

"UWU op defends Israel UWU"-
Have I not made it clear enough what I think of the Israeli government? Have I not made it clear enough that what infuriates me the MOST about all of this shit going on is that neither government gives a damn and civilians will CONTINUE to die because Hamas and Netanyahu are cranking that war machine for their own benefit? Have I not made it clear that I think what the Israeli government is doing is fucking horrific, a war crime, murder, a violation of human rights?
Why do I even need to MAKE that clear? Why is it that you can talk about LITERALLY anything else, any other country, and people don't rush to fucking accuse you of personally supporting the government when you discuss the wrongs committed against a people, but the SECOND you're a Jew you have to justify your stance about Israel?
Why is it that I cannot even be angry about the slaughter of MY FUCKING PEOPLE. Innocents. Civilians. Fucking CHILDREN. The slaughter of the Palestinian people. Innocents. Civilians. FUCKING CHILDREN.
Without one of you absolute fucking monsters deciding to slap some shit on an unrelated post about how "uwu op defends an apartheid state just ignore that"? Do you have to make it part of EVERYTHING I do? Do you consider everything I put out there tainted somehow because I don't support your joy, your cheering, your unrestrained GLEE at the murder of Jews? Do I need to publish a fucking thesis on my stance on Israel, Palestine, and their respective governments like a fucking disclaimer any time I want to talk about myself, my oppression, my experience as a Jew, or a disabled person, or a queer person, because you fuckers cannot for five seconds be NORMAL about Jews?
To decide to slap something about Israel and Palestine on a post I made about MY oppression, about how people will oppress you no matter who you actually are- it all depends who they think you are. It's a bit ironic, isn't it? Doesn't QUITE fit, but it's funny that someone would read that post, agree with it, and then think "Ah yes, THIS is the place to put some tags about how OP, a Jew who has been reeling for the last couple of weeks about the violence, who has been checking on their Israeli friends every day to make sure they aren't fucking dead, who is dealing with vicious antisemitism from people who they thought were friends, who watched as the people claiming to be progressive supporters of human rights on this hellsite and others OVERWHELMINGLY reply to the murder of their people with good they deserved it fuck you, is CLEARLY a defender of an apartheid state and that makes them a bad person because something something I don't know what nuance tastes like and I am a bigoted ass."
I am TIRED.
#antisemitism#i/p#seriously I am exhausted#fuck all of you#I can count on my hands how many people have actually been supportive and kind to me#I have LOST count of how many people#both online and IRL#have either been dismissive and cold#or outright HAPPY that Jews died and will continue to die#I have lost count of how many people here I thought were decent human beings#who I had to block because they responded with a resounding GOOD to what hamas did#and now you fucking antisemitic fucks are dragging this shit onto unrelated posts#and that's nothing NEW you've always been like this#but it is especially exhausting now#the fact that this shit is coming from like#other Americans too?#are you fucking KIDDING ME?#You LIVE here and you don't control everything the fucking government does#but oh every Israeli civilian is responsible and they deserve to be killed#just call me a kike and go instead of doing that shit#at least the Nazis are direct about how much they want me dead#although frankly I'm having trouble telling the difference these days#between you leftist fucks and the Nazis

this will probably be a very long and dramatic post but i feel the need to speak right now. iâm not gonna try to claim i donât make my blog political, but i rarely speak to things personally.
i was 15 years old when trump was elected for the first time. i was a sophomore in high school coming off of my first queer relationship and coming to terms with who i was as a person.
i remember being so furious that i was too young to vote. i felt so betrayed by everyone who could and did vote for him. he may not have said it directly, but he may as well have.
people like me were a problem. we need to be solved, and we need to be eliminated.
how could i look some of those people in the eye again, knowing i was just a child and yet they were not only okay with supporting people who wanted me dead, but they wanted it too?
i went to a pretty purple school. we had around 2000 kids, give or take a few hundred. i spent a lot of time in the office, since it was quieter there and i could spend some peaceful time with a smaller group of friends.
the day after trump was elected i remember seeing streams and streams of kids coming in. the nurseâs office was right across the hall. i watched through the huge bulletproof windows as kids of color and visibly queer kids were led in bruised, many of them bleeding, to be patched up before they had to speak to the principal for daring to defend themselves. most of the instigators of these incidents were of one demographic.
and all of them said the same thing.
âtrump is president. this is how things are now.â
i remember the terror. i remember feeling that as long as i was in this country i could never truly be me and know i was safe. i remember the distrust i felt, not knowing who felt what. who disagreed with my mere existence. who felt i was an issue for simply daring to have feelings outside the norm, as if i wanted this. i remember the hurt.
i am a cishet passing, white woman, and i felt, however briefly, genuine fear for my life.
and i am incredibly lucky.
i have the ârightâ skin color. i was raised in the ârightâ faith. unless i told you, or you really analyzed the way i dress and act, thereâs no way to tell iâm queer.
try as i might to understand them, i am so blessed to feel a mere fraction of the terror some of my loved ones are experiencing in this moment.
i remember the hurt and the fear. it is back.
but i remember the strength, too. i remember seeing the way minorities banded together and stood strong in the face of such paralyzing terror and heartache. i was able to hide behind those stronger than me, and some of that safety i had felt before and craved so deeply was back.
i remember when it was finally over. the relief and the joy, although the alternative wasnât great, a weight had been lifted. i had hope again.
we will be there again. we will be there soon.
we will make it through.
check on your people. even the ones who are less visible in their minority status. check on the women you know. queer folks, trans folks. check on the sick and disabled and mentally ill people you know. effectively, if you know anyone who is of a different race, faith, sex, or sexuality than what they try to insist is the norm, check on them.
we are not okay.
but we will be.
they may have won the election, but they will not win over us.
i know so many feel like theyâre completely isolated and alone in their fear and sadness right now, but i promise you you arenât. there are millions of people across the country and across the world feeling the exact heartache you feel in this moment. and we will make it through if we find those people and keep them with us.
hug your friends. check in. keep each other afloat.
and be gentle with yourselves.
iâm going to go cry and then go to bed because itâs now 6:30 in the morning here.
and then tomorrow iâll wake up and face this with all of you.
keep hope, my friends.
lots of love,
ezzy

What is it with the fandom turning every female love interest for Buck or Eddie into a downright monster? (Long post, rant)
Abby? Basically groomed baby Buck, yucky, also she got his number the wrong way.
Shannon? Terrible mother, terrible wife, we need a restraining order.
Ali? What a bitch. She only used Buck and couldn't handle the real him.
Ana? Ableist homophobe, obsessed stalker, restraining order 2.0.
Taylor? Career bitch, will literally kill innocent babies to get on prime time tv.
Marisol? Stalker 2.0 apparently, also in an incest relationship with her brother, obviously.
Natalia? Hell no, way too obsessed with Buck's death experience, that's not healthy, it's basically abuse.
Like, Come on guys. Just say you hate women and be done with it. Buck is not a helpless baby, he is an adult who is capable of having consensual relationships and standing up for himself.
No, him and Abby were probably never gonna last, but I do think that they were good for each other at that point in their lives.
Ali was nothing but kind and supportive and ended up prioritising her own mental well being. Good for her!
Taylor always made it clear that her job mattered to her more than anything. Which Buck of all people should understand and he knew this from the moment he met her. Also he treated her like shit, this isn't Taylor's fault.
Natalia is an end of life doula. Of course she's interested to hear Buck's story and of course he's relieved that he doesn't have to walk on eggshells around her when talking about the lightning. Everyone else he knows was traumatised right with him, what's wrong with getting an outside perspective?
Also the entire fandom sometimes acts as if buddie were thee most perfect parents, but they're not. Eddie missed basically the first 4 entire years of Christopher's childhood.
Shannon may have made her mistakes, but so did Eddie. And when they reconnected, Eddie was the one who made a move on Shannon, not the other way around.
Ana was a very nice and thoughtful person and, don't yell at me, she wasn't entirely wrong about the skateboard incident. Christopher has cp. Most activities can be made accessible for him, but probably not everything. In this particular case Ana was proven wrong, but the point stands.
Marisol seems like a fun and witty person and she was only in a few scenes so far. Yet here we are and people are already talking shit about her.
I don't even know what to say honestly. For a fandom than claims to be so inclusive for having disabled and queer characters, characters of colour, found family dynamics and so on y'all sure are going heavy on the misogyny.

LMFAO ok
1: no feminism is not only for women
homophobia is literally hating men for âacting like womenâ by liking other men
and calling women âevilâ for not liking men
and transphobia is refusing gender norms that have been set by the patriarchy.
unfortunately, terfs feel oppressed by the fact that trans peopleâŚexist, I guess, like it makes their issues less valid. Well, it doesnât. It just gives you more potential allies.
If youâre queer, then feminism is for you.
People of color suffer because of sexism, because unequal pay doubles over for them, because people of color are ignored when kidnapped and trafficked, because, because, because. Not all people of color are women but if itâs wocâs problem, itâs all of pocâs problem too.
Excluding other oppressed people, or even people who *arenât* oppressed is and more helpful to the oppressor. The less people you have, you less power you have. There should be solidarity in all marginalized communities. And people who arenât marginalized should be allowed to help too. To exclude people who arenât marginalized is just plain stupid. Oh yeah, let me REFUSE to allow people to HELP me because they have the ability to be oppressive. Youâd rather let someone stay ignorant or inactive than have them join your fight against oppression? Okay.
Saying that feminism is for everyone is NOT the same as saying all lives matter.
All lives matter was weakly made argument to disregard the fact that black people were (and still are) getting murdered and then ignored and that we should be getting attention.
âFeminism is for everyoneâ means that everyone can and should fight for gender equality, because it IS good for everyone. Seriously, itâs good for men, itâs good for women, itâs good for queer people, itâs good for people of color, and itâs good for disabled people. Itâs good for everyone, so everyone should support and be a feminist.
2) Every woman is included in feminism
if a woman is a bigot in anyway she is inherently oppressive to other women because whatever it is (race, disability, class, queerness,) women have it (the oppression) BAD.
doesnât sound very feminist of you.
3) no man should be able to say what is and isnât a feminist
I have mixed feelings about this statement, but for the most part, if youâre claiming to be progressive in anyway but you wanna be oppressive to someone else, I donât think you can call yourself progressive. You canât cherry pick. If you wanna fight, you have to fight for everyone.
4) thatâs pretty much it, everything else is fine.

i haven't seen anyone else say it so i'll say it. expecting a creator to confirm your headcanons exactly as you want is also very parasocial. i don't think being parasocial is just thinking a creator of a media you like is your friend. it's also expecting them to know your opinions on art they make like they're psychic and expecting your interpretations to be 100% confirmed. and acting like you've been terribly and purposely betrayed when they don't. and dare to take the media in a direction you never wanted.
to me that's no better than the parasocial epidemic of acting like a creator is your friend because you like the media they make. it's on a similar level but in regards to how you view their work and them as a person. it's still expecting special treatment from them that you are not owed. it's still very entitled behavior. it's still expevting them to somehow be telepathic enough to know your every thought on their work which is an toxic and unreasonable demand. chill.
this is also why at this point i support the concept of death to the audience. instead of always going death of the author.with how it's used i'm getting tired of the term death of the author nowadays as it just enables people to do confirmation bias. even when the source material blatantly proves their views on the media wrong. it's pretty much going "i'm always right even when i'm wrong" about media anlaysis. and i shouldn't have to spell out how that's not a healthy or mature way of coping when canon turns out to be the opposite of what you theorized. it's both parasocial and terminally online behavior at its finest. and yes tbh i am lowkey thinking of this surge of communities trying to be the next su critical phenomenon while writing this. y'all aren't exempt from this behavior and are the worst ones about it honestly. and yes btw this includes groups like toh critical, amphibia critical, hazbin hotel critical, helluva boss critical etc. whatever else you're thinking of. and this is coming from someone who legit borderline hates amphibia. and the ableist messages it has about marcy's neurodivergency coded narrative. but i still don't wanna associate with those of y'all who try to go "oh but the su critical mindseet is valid and healthy THIS TIME uwu!" at the next media that comes out.
it borders on digital self harm, how far y'all tend to go with this shit most of the time.
also a lot of your communties like this are full of hypocrites just as bad or worse than the creator of the media you're criticizing. it happened with su critical. and it quickly happened with hazbin hotel critical too. it's almost like it takes more than being obssessively hypercritical of largely new queer media coming out to be a non bigoted and non abusive person. who knew!
and on that note of these communities being full of coddled abusers and bigots, y'all refuse to do anything about it. outside of the mess that was the callout against genderfluidlucifer. but lily orchard has done worse and is doing worse STILL. and you're excusing every shitty thing she does because she was a major influencer in this form of media criticsm subculture. which still proves my point i made that y'all refuse to hold genuinely bad people in these communities acocuntable if they get really popular first. especially when they hit a certain level of popularity arbitrarily like lily did. (and this applied to bismuthspartnerincrime until he left the scene altogether but that's it's own can of worms.) because you think anyone agreeing with your media criticisms in the right pandering way is allowed automatic social and legal immunity. when that's literally not how anything works.
in general these days i do not trust someone who thinks they can do no harm because they parrot the right criticisms against the media i'm referring to. also on a slight side note i still remember how a lot of people in the su critical community claimed wearing glassess wasn't a disability. what was that all about??
like that side note just shows my point of how these communities were full of bigots and abusers but not much was being done about them. and i'm tired of it being allowed to happen and this problem being repeated. because no one wants to learn and repeatedlyputs callouts full of exclus/anti rhetoric on a pedestal for no reason. like we don't have to put these subcultures on a pedestal but it keeps happening. why do we keep letting it happen?? and btw before anyone claims anything this is not an anti leftism post. i am a leftist at heart. i just hate seeing new leftists acting like they have to get themselves roped into these commuities to be real leftists. when there's way more pressing forms of activism to focus more energy on than getting mad about blorbo from your show THIS MUCH.
