I think it's crazy how Trans misogyny is not exclusive to trans women, this is not a post downplaying how we are the biggest victims of this by a vast overwhelming majority, it's a post talking about how people of color are often masculanized and their features are often seen as less feminine and how that REALLY affects everybody. I'm speaking as a white trans woman, repeating what my black Trans boyfriend has told me about his experience. Back in the day when he still identified as a woman he, has been targeted and harassed by people who hate Trans women; calling him a "dumb ugly tranny", refusing to recognize him as a woman, which obviously at the time really fucking sucked. He is AFAB and my point here is this. Trans women like me, white trans women will never have to deal with having my racial features hypermasculanized, but a black Trans girl? She is the biggest victim in all of this, and it is heart breaking and something I never see talked about on this website. The level of oppression, "gender denial" Trans black women face is scary and it is something always overlooked and dismissed. Trans black women are virtually invisible in our society, art and face the worst oppression. Black lives are beautiful. And worth caring for and protecting, and talking about like any other life. I obviously can never understand or face the same kind of oppression, but you know what I can do. I can say that I love you and care about you and I want you to live and go out there and be yourself. Without you we would not be where we are today, and our queer rights in large part are brought to us by the black women who fought for us. I can support black people and listen to black people and try to understand the biases I picked up over the years of being raised in white supremacist society. Please if you are black it is so important that you exist and it is so important that you create. Put yourself out there, make things, make yourself visible, even if people pretend you don't exist. Please make it all about you.

I think it's ok that Trans women talking about transmisoginy make people uncomfortable, it never should be comfortable to be told that you are hurting people, that you are the problem, that you are wrong. It sucks, it really does and they're doing very important thing in the community and I appreciate it and thank them for it. Unpacking biases and thinking of ways transmisoginy as a whole affects the whole communities and what role TME people play in furthering it and continuing it is something I am unsure i could do myself. I know the post is coming off as angry and emotional, because it is. Because I felt angry at someone for taking this important conversation, and just letting their transphobia against Trans men get in the way of discussing the real issues.
If I hear one more person advocating against transfem transmasc solidarity I might actually just start unleashing the 7 plagues on this world

Hell, it made me reconsider MY OWN biases and made me realize internalized transmisoginy, some people were rightfully upset at me, over admittedly minor things. This is about somebody, I will not be naming names because honestly, there's enough callouts about Trans women on the internet, and enough people harass other people. I'm not going to paint a target on another Trans woman. This doesn't reflect on the community as a whole, this isn't "Trans women suck" because they do not. And they are rightfully upset about how we are treated within the queer community. Just don't be a fucking asshole about it damn.

Of course it's good and important to discuss transphobia and transmisoginy, not really having any problem with people confronting Trans masc people and other TME people over that, that's good and important and I agree that a lot of people who aren't Trans women do struggle to understand and comprehend the Trans woman experience and do microaggressions as well as plain aggressions and attacks towards us, that's all true, we get demonized to hell and back. The issue I have is that some people say outrageous things, that simply make me feel uncomfortable and like I'm being pitted against transmasc people. Who treat it like us vs them, it's not us vs them we are all faggots at the end of the day. We are on the same team!!!!

Respecting other queers who aren't like you and whose experience don't overlap is non negotiable, if you generalize whole group of people as "bringing nothing into the community" and as a bunch of evil doers who are simply out to get every transfem out there based on a bad personal experience with them, you are stupid. I'm sorry, but you are just a plain idiot prone to biases, and you fail to recognize it.
Bonus idiot points if you shame a bunch of transfems as group traitors because they're attracted to TME people, very radical and progressive, shaming people for their sexuality and who they're attracted to. Inventing new slurs like "oviophile" towards people attracted to TME people, in what world is this acceptable

Help a struggling trans couple make rent
Hey everyone there is no plainer way to put it, we need to make $1100 to make rent. I've been battling being sick for a week which lost me a ton of time at work and on top of everything hours are starting to dwindle as it is. I worked overtime for a month straight to try and get ahead but it barely kept us afloat for October. I hate to beg with everything going on but we simply cannot make rent+bills+owed back taxes without help. My minimum goal is $1100 to pay just the rent but ideally I hope to make $2500 to cover rent, bills and pay into those taxes. Anything helps, I take donations via kofi or Venmo and Im super grateful for any donation big or small. Please help us make it through the month
$0/$1100
Venmo is LKarnstein

hello please consider helping out.
Have you ever felt the pain of loss? Have you lost someone close to you, someone dear to your heart? Have you lost a family member? I hope you haven鈥檛, but for my family and me, it鈥檚 our daily reality. Every single day, without exaggeration, we lose someone we love.
Last week, I lost my uncle, my mother鈥檚 brother. He was walking down the street, just like anyone else, when he was struck by a missile from a drone. And today, we lost more loved ones鈥攎y uncle and his son. They were sitting together in a home that had already been destroyed by the Zionist war machine. Not only was the house obliterated, but its residents were killed as well.
I don鈥檛 think this genocide will stop here. Even at this moment, more people continue to die. The number of martyrs has exceeded 50,000, not including those still trapped beneath the rubble. We might be the next names added to the list of the dead.
Please, I beg you, save what鈥檚 left of us. Don鈥檛 just scroll past this post. Share it, and if you can, donate. Every donation you make can save an entire family from death.

It's funny coming from me, I do not like having sex with people I'm not really close with, and I hate bars and other places that are crowded and have lots of people, smells, sounds, textures, temperatures I'm unfamiliar with. The prospect of dating people or hooking up with people while not really scary, it is so deeply unappealing to me personally. It's just that it seems so silly to me that people are supposedly bad people for having fun meeting other people and having a healthy sex life, that somehow being a slut is a bad thing, it's silly and stupid and hurts so many people. Stressing people out over being themselves and having many consensual sexual relationships, like how is this a bad thing.
I love you sluts and whores and other people who are happy to have a lot of sex with many people. I'm sorry the world treats you like this and I want to send you 1000 kisses for being so brave and loving yourself and others so much.

I want sex to be free and not something so stigmatized and vilified and for people to be ashamed.

I might have hated my old job that destroyed my body, but working with mostly older women from all sorts of backgrounds was very awesome, and I do miss that a lot. I don't remember a space that has accepted me as a woman better than my working class coworker immigrant moms, if anybody tells you Muslims suck about LGBT, they are lying to you almost all my Muslim coworkers immediately recognized me as a woman upon telling them and they defended the shit out of me when someone misgendered me. They refused to call me by my dead name and they were the kindest people I have ever met. Not to mention all the Muslims in my life who are queer, they exist and they are proud of themselves.
God I love women who are older than me, we can talk about furries and video games and experience of being transgender, no i do not think you are silly for being 40 with interests and questions about things I take for granted and thank you for letting me know the kinda wisdoms 20 extra years of life provided to you
