how to have motivation to workout ♡
you're reading this blog to stop procrastinating whenever you want to workout , or just get back on track in general. you are not alone as many others go through it too , but here I'll give you tips to avoid procrastination.
our plan : :
001 , push through
- in my eyes , procrastination is not a curse that randomly shows up in your life or something that pops up and runs away , it is something you bring up on yourself. let me explain it this way : :
imagine you are Sabrina , you love hanging out with your friends and playing with them. You stretch and study and read books in the morning everyday. One day , your best friend wakes you up early to go somewhere , meaning you forget to do your productive routine that day. Soon , one day of missing out of your productive deeds turns into a destructive habit. Eventually , you miss out on your routine and feel a sudden dread whenever you want to. That is procrastination.
It's okay to play with friends or watch a movie but don't let that get caught up in your life ! your routine should be like a ritual that you practise everyday , no matter the circumstances ! starting to do something once a day can slowly lead up to a repetitive habit whether that is lounging or being productive ! procrastination is just a re - embodiment of your actions.
002 , plan it all out
- don't workout or stretch or practise pilates by waking up and doing it at any time of day , depending on your mood. creating a repetitive habit means you need to do it at the same time of day for a scheduled time period. make sure to plan rest days to prevent burnouts !
003 , rest
- make sure to rest at least once a week to prevent burning out. remember that your muscles need to rest !!
004 , romanticize it
- romanticize moving your body to make it enjoyable ! listen to music , wear comfortable clothes , cute accessories , add candles - anything to make working out fun !
005 , find great workout channels // excercises
- find great workouts that aren't too // not intense enough for you ! find ones that work and are not just popular on tiktok !

I feel like it would be impossible to try to go to yoga with tomura because he just wants to spend the whole time either clinging to you like velcro or checking you out ahdhjfh
yoga is tomura's "me time" (i guess technically "we time" bc it's feat. papa toshi) so i don't think he ever asks you to come with him, and frankly i don't think you ask either, because you know it's something he likes to do on his own.
i do think that there's a great opportunity for him to do some.... private coaching.... with you though.

Muladhara, the root chakra, said to reside partway in the physical body and partway in the Earth.
Crystals: Black Tourmaline, Obsidian, Onyx, Lodestone
Affirmation: "I Am" I am nourished, I am an individual, I am rooted, I am apart of the greater whole
Yoga (Restorative): Supported child's pose, supported corpse pose, and reclining bounded angle pose.
Cleansing Mantra: I am cleansing my physical body with the intention of connecting with my root chakra. I am cleansing (crystal name) with the intention of connecting with my root chakra.
Practice: Spend 5-10 minutes in each yoga pose while meditating on your connection to your root chakra. Utilizing the crystal by placing it on the pelvic bone during each pose where possible. Option to maintain one singular meditation throughout or alternate between each pose.

hi i’m back again lol!!! so my situation this time is that i’m starting a new sports class. it’s like a combination of yoga and pilates and i’m super nervous as in more fitness situations i’m kinda shy and self conscious. i’m going with someone i know so it’s not like i’m gonna be on my own or anything but i’m still stressed about it and i think i’d be less stressed if i didn’t have to worry about what to wear. for this sports class i want to emulate the pink pilates princess vibe but not to the point where i look overdressed and will attract more attention to myself. and i still want to be true and in keeping with my personal style. what should i wear?

That sounds super fun and exciting! Going with a friend always helps take the pressure off in unfamiliar scenarios, and over time you may make friends who feel just like you! Here are some outfit ideas to accommodate to yoga and pilates whilst remaining lowkey and casual.
WSIW: Yoga / pilates class
For these situations, wanting to appear stylish whilst not being over the top is easy as long as you stick to the mindset of Less is more. For gym / sports related activities I feel you can't go wrong with one stand out piece, and the rest of the outfit being practical / built around it. Try opting for a unitard for a ballet-chic effortless look, and pair it with comfortable sports shoes in the same colour, black or white. For this occasion, leg warmers could be perfect with a matching claw clip, and you can throw on a cute hoodie over the top before and after the class to bring up the casual factor.
Alternatively, if you feel like a more modest look is called for-- yet you want to remain cool and comfortable, try a wrap top with some looser fit yoga style pants or joggers. A way to instantly achieve that put-together look is by making the look monochrome. For a pilates princess chic, baby pink is a no brainer. A warmer toned pale pink will be more ballet-core, reminiscent of ballet slipper colour whilst a cooler toned pink will give you that modern barbie exercise doll look. A matching alice band will tie the look together whilst keeping your hair out of your face.
Invest in a co-ord that supports sweat and working out efficiently. For the spring season, I see these sets coming into fashion and being worn in a more casual downtown girl way and I feel wearing them to a class will make you instantly shine as an it girl who is dedicated to her exercise grind.
