as soon as you set the phone up, gojo thought you were gonna do a cute couple video with him while he was sitting on the couch. He was smiling, completely oblivious to what you were about to do. You stood in front of the camera and waited for the music to start, turning around before the time hit one on the countdown.

As soon as Gojo heard the music he damn near leaped off the couch and grabbed your phone. “Satoru!” You gasped, turning to him with wide.

“Uhn uhn, baby. I can’t have you throwing your goodies back for everyone else to see!” He holds your phone over his head, making sure you couldn’t reach.

“Satoru, I wasn’t gonna post it!” You laugh, reaching for you phone. “I just wanted to see if I could do it!”

“See if you could throw it in a circle?! Baby—”

“Wait a second, how do you know about this trend?” You questioned, slowing raising your brow.

“Uh…um…Suguru showed me.” He awkwardly cleared his throat.

“You’re a horrible liar.”

“It was one video! Baby I swear!” He dropped to his knees, clinging onto your shirt.

“Get up, you drama queen!”

TOJI

“Toji, I wanna show you this new dance I learned!” You excited propped your phone up, smiling as you set the timer and turned towards him. “Look!”

“I’m watching, mama.” He sighed, resting his head in his palm while standing beside you. That’s when the music started and you began to do the dance, the first few seconds of it completely harmless. It when you started shaking your ass that Toji’s eyes widened and he immediately grabbed your waist and threw you over his shoulder to carry you away.

“Toji! I was showing you the dance!” You laughed.

“That wasn’t no damn dance. Can’t have anyone seeing my girls ass like that.” He finally put you back on your feet, staring at you as you had a full on laughing fit.

“That was so funny! You were so quick to drag me away!” You fanned yourself, still chuckling with tears in your eyes.

“Yeah, yeah, I don’t wanna hear it. Should know that ass is mine.” He grabbed a handful of your ass.

NANAMI

nanami was sitting in his office, typing away on his computer before you barged into his room, nearly giving him a heart attack. Without exchanging words, you propped your phone up and hit record. He closed his laptop and turned in your direction, brows furrowed as he wondered what you were up to.

He heard the music and watched as you began dancing, bending over lower and lower and it finally clicked in his head what you were going to do. He stood from his seat and stood directly in front of the camera, blocking the view of your ass.

“Nice dance, sweetheart but it should only be reserved for me. Don’t you think?” He smirked down at you as you stood back up, smiling at him.

“I wasn’t gonna post it!” You grab your phone, laughing at the moment when he completely blocks the view with his broad back. “I was just showing you!”

“Uh huh, just like all those other dances you were showing me?” He raised a brow. “Nice try.” He pecked your lips, walking back to his desk. “Your ass did look great, by the way.”

“Aweee, Ken!” You giggled.

as a prank you weren’t even going to do the dance, but instead close the bathroom door and blast the song to make geto think you were. You heard the audio on his phone a few times, knowing he’s seen the videos and what better way to prank him than to show him how it feels when youre shaking ass on the internet.

You quietly closed the bathroom and set up your phone against the sink, turning your volume up all the way and pressing the timer. You stood against the wall, a mischievous smile on your face as you waited for the moment he’d bust through the door. Over the music, you heard his footsteps and laughed to yourself when he flung the door open.

“What are you doing?!” He stood there, peaking his head in to see you were recording. “I swear if you’re out here shaking ass…Baby, I will literally crash out again.”

“I was pranking you!” You laugh, pointing at your phone. “That’s what your ass gets! Haha!”

“Baby, I swear you’re gonna be the death of me.” He glares at you, taking in a deep breath.

“How romantic.” You step towards him. “How about I actually do the dance, but…I dance on you, hm?” You question and immediately his eyes widened in excitement.

They’re London based but have done shows outside london like in Scotland (Edinburgh Fringe) and even to Spain. They want to hopefully go to other countries in the future too!!

Ok, so. They do improvised comedy and their shows have two halves (generally with a break in the middle) they play lots of short drama games in the first half and then improvise 20-30 minute (on average) plays in the second half, sometimes with another game at the end.

The plays are so much fun (they’ve got 43 of them up on youtube so far!! (< updated January 2025)) and they’ve also released three full specials (full shows) which you can find on their channel :)

For a few of the older ones (apart from the first one) they were filming on an iphone and just projecting their voices, so the the audio and image quality can be hard to deal with (but all their videos are subtitled by the AMAZING volunteer subtitlers!!!) the older videos are well worth watching, though!!!

They have SO MUCH CONTENT because during covid they did zoom-style improv shows with eachother and you can watch those as a patreon. (To find out what else you get with patreon go to my pinned post :))

They also have SO MANY VIDEOS that are just the regular public ones!!!! They upload short ones of the games and some 5-10min ones of the games too, as well as the long forms (plays)

ASMR | Castlevania - Alucard x Listener SFW Comforting Alucard After A Nightmare

Didn't realise season 2 of Nocturne was releasing so soon and I wasn't sure if I'd get around to watching it, saw one picture of Olrox, and whoops watched the entire season in one evening. This audio was requested before season 2 came out and was scheduled for later but I brought it forwards since hopefully there will be some want for Alucard right now. I got too inot this one and how much I need Vlad and Lisa to have told Adrian that they're still alive that while pretending to cry in this audio I actually started crying oops. It's a shame the Castlevania shows aren't more popular. I always see such a lack of fanworks compared to other shows like Arcane. I know there is more horror and violence in Castlevania than Arcane, but Castlevania and Nocturne are such wonderful shows, well-written, beautifully animated, and nice representation on top of all of that.

A non-spoilery thing that got me with season 2 is how often Mizrak was allowed to cry, not just a little welling of tears in his eyes, this big stereotypically macho masculine man was allowed to just sob over and over, in front of other men, and he was never shamed for it, never embarrassed by doing it. And that shouldn't be so groundbreaking to me in 2024, but sadly I think there still isn't enough of male characters being allowed to show intense emotions that aren't anger. I've also loved in the Castlevania shows how gay/queer relationships are normalised. Striga and Morana, Alucard being bisexual, Olrox and Mizrak... there's never any homophobia thrown at them by other characters. Mizrak might have internalise-homophobia, but his inner conflict seems to more be because Olrox is a vampire not that he's a man. And I don't care whether that's historically accurate, I personally like seeing historical and fantasy settings where they just decide homophobia/transphobia don't exist. I don't think that's erasure, I think it can be an enjoyable fantasy for queer people to enjoy a period drama where queer people can exist in the open with the understanding that this is a fantasy piece and not a historical documentary. I don't know, maybe that's just me who loves historical settings who would love to see and read stories about gay and trans characters being able to be out in the 1800s and what that would look like, what a 1700s binder could have looked like, what 1920s advertisements for shaving razors aimed at trans fems could have looked like, things like that. I don't know, maybe that's just me, I just think it's fun to think about. Sorry that this ramble ended up in an audio description.

Anyway I'm glad I got an Alucard request, I love him very much. And I love his Nocturne design. I've seen some complain about it but they frankly sound like borderline transphobia when they're complaining that he 'looks to feminine'. I think he looks beautiful, and it's definitely giving the same aesthetics as Ayami Kojima's original illustrations and concept for Castlevania where frankly most of the men she draws look more androgynous than typically 'masculine'.

Who is your favorite anti-hero?

I’m not 100% sure you can call him an anti-hero, but Damien is one of my favorite misunderstood characters. He wants so badly to belong, but his power of suggestion leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to doing the right thing. I don’t want to spoil anything, but after reading A Neon Darkness by @laurenshippen I totally understand where Damien is coming from in the Bright Sessions podcast and why he does the things that he does. My heart really goes out to him and I’m so glad Lauren gave us a little more of his story.

If you’re into fiction podcasts and audio dramas at all, I highly recommend giving @thebrightsessions a go. It’s basically like what would happen if the X-Men were in therapy dealing with their trauma instead of saving the world? It’s so good! If you’re not into podcasts, there are three books set in the world: The Infinite Noise (follows Caleb and Adam), A Neon Darkness (follows Damien), and Some Far Away Place (follows Rose). All three books (and the podcast) are incredibly queer and so so SO GOOD! The books are all technically stand-alone and supplemental to the podcast. Except for The Infinite Noise—it’s basically the first season from Caleb and Adam’s perspective. So if you do read it, and you like it, definitely give the podcast a chance.

I find it funny that Sylus, a literal mob boss is more of a green flag than Caleb, lol. Caleb is a red flag disguised as a green flag as someone else put it, but I think it’s a good thing, because hey, Infold flavor blasted the childhood friends to lovers trope. We already have a vanilla version of that with Zayne if you want a… I guess a childhood friends to lovers storyline that doesn’t have too much drama. I have more under the cut because Jesus Christ I did not mean for this to be long, lol.

Caleb and MC’s storyline definitely has drama because I mean… poor MC is upset at Caleb because she like mourned his “death” and then here he is, but, to quote MC loosely, she doesn’t seem to recognize him anymore. She only saw the Colonel, not Caleb. Just like Sylus, it’s gonna take a lot of time for Caleb x MC to get to the “lovers” part of their relationship. It starts with putting together broken pieces.

With Sylus, he needs to gain MC’s trust, and MC is unsure about Sylus as a person outside of his mob boss status in some cards. But in Sylus’s latest 5 star card, MC’s completely trusts him and she’s the one initiating the sex and Sylus is like, “do you want it?”

It’s almost the same with Caleb. For example, in the cyborg arm memoria, Caleb and MC seemed to have mended things together again and even visited Caleb’s grave, and Caleb showed off his unhinged humor referencing that grave meme (you know the one).

For Zayne, MC and Zayne made things clear towards each other since Zayne is… for lack of a better term more stable than Sylus (because he’s crazy, and white haired men are ALWAYS the crazy ones, I swear) and is not overly protective and shady like Caleb. Zayne is a normal man if you ignore his ice Evol. In some cards, I can 100% tell what timeline Zayne x MC’s relationship is at. Same with Xavier and Rafayel.

Since Caleb is recent (because he was literally released on this date), we don’t know the full timeline yet. But even then, in some of the audio dramas, I can tell what’s happening in the past or present. Any mention of grandma without sadness overwhelming MC means it’s the past. Any mention of grandma’s death means it’s the present.

For Sylus, I think by now, some people now know the full timeline. The only thing I want to see is, Sylus’s dragon form in the present timeline in the main story. I so badly want to see Sylus’s dragon form in the main story and I want MC to remember why Sylus did what he did. I REALLY want that for his main story. The original trio (Zayne, Rafayel and Xavier) got the treatment. It’s Sylus’s turn after the Caleb lovin’.

You have to pay close attention to the dialogue and narration. Even though Love and Deepspace should’ve just been a normal dating simulator with a customizable main character mixed with slashing or shooting Wanders instead of a Gacha game, but I digress. I love the lore and story, and I love the main character. Just hate the fact that it’s a greedy Gacha game.

It’s just like how I just watch videos about League of Legends lore, lol.

Today we are gushing about show creator, Writer Director and all round lovely human, Ella Watts. Ella is a multi-award winning queer, disabled writer and director with a degree in early medieval history and literature from the University of Cambridge. Currently, she’s Head of Production at Six to Start (Zombies, Run!, Marvel Move), where she’s directing a number of original audio drama series for Marvel Comics, including X-Men: Age of Orchis, Daredevil: Terminal Degree and Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch: In Dreams. 

Ella co-created the BBC Sounds spin-off podcast Doctor Who: Redacted, which she produced and directed. She also produced and directed the award-winning podcast Eliza: A Robot Story. Ella is a passionate advocate for audio fiction in all its forms, and has represented the medium on a global stage for the last six years. She’s a member of the Inevitable Foundation’s Elevate Collective for Podcasters 2023.

I started listening to X-Men: The Audio Drama by Scyther Audio Dramas, and dang, it's good. But there's one moment I want to point out that I was really impressed by: in their adaptation of Uncanny X-Men #169-170, the first appearance of the Morlocks, there's an exchange that goes a little something like this.

the X-Men are walking through the New York sewers, in search of the kidnapped Angel

Kitty Pryde: "So, Piotr... I'm almost sixteen, you know! How old are you?" Colossus: "I am twenty-two years old." Kitty: "Well, that's not that big of a gap..." Colossus: "You are a child, about the same age as my sister. Not happening."

And all I have to say is thank god, because Kitty/Piotr was a weird Claremont thing that I don't particularly like.

Weirdly, that's not the only age of consent-related conversation in the episode, because it's also got the bit with Caliban kidnapping Kitty and Kitty going "I'm still a child!" Double standard, much?

(Also, shoutout to the audio drama for fixing Amanda Sefton, because Kurt/Amanda is a ship that I actually do like... there's just the fact that Amanda was his foster sister and started going out with him in disguise without telling him that. Making Amanda just some random flight attendant Kurt fell for is much better.)
