i need daniel to be overcompensating for his insecurities so bad. 100 times more cocky and rude and aggressive and insensitive than he was as a human, falling back into old dangerous habits and vices, not just because now he has new energy and power and wealth to flaunt but because it's ALL he has, and he needs to cling onto it. play it up and revel in it so no one sees that underneath, he feels like a botched fledgling in the body of a sick, faded old man who maybe has no real idea why he was even made. that armand might think he failed in making him. that his maker didn't even really want him.

#i think vampirism isnt inherently torturous to him in any sort of moral way #but more in an inner self worth/image way #louis felt he was failing because he rejected/didn't enjoy human blood and death #i can see daniel being fine with killing but being insecure about the way he turned out/the way he is now #and his complicated connection with armand and what it all means for him. why he cares what he thinks or feels when he doesnt want to #but he does. and he has all these questions he needs him to answer #this sort of thing would be a way to connect him to louis further and also lestat now #louis who felt like a “botched vampire” for a long time and lestat who was immediately abandoned by his maker #and how lestat coped with what had been done to him by trying to fully embrace what he'd been turned into #anyway the bottom line is i think he should suffer and struggle with vampirism just as much as everyone else has in his own way #but he still has to be a massive insufferable asshole about it. and maybe get smacked around a bit because of it #iwtv #daniel molloy

A considerable amount of makeup was used to cover Deeva's freckles and face marks, and Cater also had to use magic to make her clothes his size. They did this as a joke, but they sure were committed to it! 💪

the lucanis romance pacing is kind of objectively terrible, no idea what the writing thought process was, but it’s so funny in-world that it basically circles around to a win for me

#veilguard spoilers #further spoilers for it ahead:#so you almost kiss and then he walks away. which does not lock in the romance #then he makes a dessert—for the whole party to be clear—that is meant to go with rook’s favourite drink they mentioned earlier in the game #and if you respond to this positively. you are now locked into an exclusive romance #you do NOT get that kiss. you do NOT talk about the relationship. you don’t even talk about IF you’re in a relationship #and then there is a massive yawning void of content through a huge part of the game #including his personal quest which has to my memory basically no acknowledgement of the romance at all #it’s kind of hysterical #the party is for sure talking like we’re in a relationship #i think maybe THEY had to experience the dessert thing—again it was for the whole party though at least the conversation wasnt in front of #them thank god—and THEY made assumptions?? which is why we’re exclusive. bc everyone else thinks we’re dating. Ectoplasm and Jason Todd

Danny is wandering around Gotham (visiting, chasing a ghost, running from GIW, attending college, etc) and stumbles across Jason.

Jason who is flaring his ecto-signature like a madman (is he trying to get into trouble?).

Danny drags the guy into a nearby alley to give the guy some kind of crash-course on how not to do that.

Jason isn't sure why this guy grabbed him and dragged him into an alley, but if it's a fight he wants, Jason would be able to fight more freely in an alley, so he doesn't struggle. (Does he know that Jason is Red Hood? Does he think that Jason is a random civilian? Is it just him, or does this guy have really cold hands?)

Jason isn't sure why this guy is now trying to... ask him to meditate? The fuck is going on? But if it's not a fight, then... maybe it's fine to just listen to the weirdo? Taking a few deep breaths isn't going to hurt him.

Danny is very proud of himself for guiding the ecto-flaring guy through how to not flare his ecto-signature. He's such a good teacher.

And then Jason collapses.

Turns out, Jason has been using his anger to create a feedback-loop that artificially raises his ectoplasm-levels.

Ghosts need ectoplasm to live, but they'll also produce ectoplasm when feeling strong emotions. For most ghosts, this a bit like saying "everyone needs a good cry every now and then". For Jason, he's been basically aiming a gun at his own face for the adrenaline-rush. Constantly.

So, Danny is now holding onto a barely-conscious person who desperately needs more ectoplasm. As in, this is a medical emergency, and every second probably counts.

Danny, being that he wasn't planning on needing to carry around some kind of ectoplasm-container at all times (who the fuck does that? His parents, that's who), is now desperately trying to problem-solve this.

Danny realizes that, actually, even in his human form? Danny has a lot of ectoplasm in his body. Enough that he could probably save this guy by... feeding him his blood.

Cue intimately sexy reverse-vampire scene.

And oh boy, if Danny's blood doesn't taste fantastic to Jason's ecto-starved self.

#jason will probably have a LOT of questions. bcs what the fuck. what is ectoplasm? why does he need it?#why does this random guy have enough of it IN HIS BLOOD that he can work as a fucking vitamin-drink?#but yes. this idea is that the Pit Rage? ain't a separate thing. it's jason's anger. it comes from him and his trauma.#it just also happens to be what's allowing him to keep being alive. bcs without the rage his core just withers and dies #(unless it's hibernating in his sleep. obvs) but with him no longer starving? suddenly he CAN calm down. he can risk it.#he might not WANT to calm down. and a trigger would still absolutely be a trigger. but he has the option now.#AND ALSO sexy-vampire danny. except he's not ''suave'' or whatever. he's a fucking raccoon.#he's like the equivalent of a ''russian sex-machine'' with lots of blood-splatter and a feral look in his eyes.#everyone else: ''why the FUCK would you have sex with THAT?'' jason: ''i've never been more turned on in my LIFE''#dc comics #laughing #danny phantom #batman #stories #my writing #magical theory
