As much as I love Luke’s post it seems like it’s yet another deleted scene (lost track of them at this point) which makes me annoyed over so many deleted scenes and character development in his own season.

Yeah it’s the sad truth we got to accept that he never had an equal opportunity in his season to shine. Not with the amount of cut scenes and simplified development. It’s awful and makes me very angry but what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️ at least we know he did more than he could and what an amazing actor he is.

Whatever he does it seems like Luke can not win.

He’s filmed, promoted, expressed gratitude for the support of his season yet, him falling for someone is problematic. I just don’t get it.

Like he’s done nothing wrong. I hope he never does anything problematic as I will be devastated, but at the moment he’s a down to earth guy and long may that continue.

Unfortunately that’s true. He’s been chosen as the scapegoat by a group of miserable people and nothing can change their mind. It’s awful and also pretty sad because why would you spend this much energy hating on an actor? In this world where we have war criminals, r*pists and such ruling countries? An actor is your main hate object?

A weird choice, but okay. I could probably write you a thesis on reasons why he’s hated and what that says about the haters themselves. I do hope they stop yapping one day because this is exhausting.

And well, anyone can make a mistake and that’s why we should never put people on pedestals. But for now, I don’t think Luke has done anything wrong. With no way to predict the future, I’m choosing to stan a man that’s not only talented af but also humble, fun and down-to-earth.

lmao everytime luke does something bridgerton related "apparently it's a redemption arc" or maybe that is just who he is, he literally loves bridgerton and has always shown appreciation for it, his character, and penelope.

And to end that stupid theory from shippers, he did post appreciation posts after pt2 and a couple of stories, so stop lying as usual on this man.

Sometimes I wonder if these people are real, give it a rest.

No fr. Because 'redemption arc' assumes there's something he needs to redeem himself from, and there's nothing. For us, his genuine fans, he has done nothing that requires redemption. We know he loves Colin, the show, Polin as a ship and Pen as a character. He loves his fans too, even though sometimes I think some of them didn't give him reasons for that, behaving as they do.

Plus, yes. He's done some end of s3 promo, he's thanked us in interviews, there has been that post prem post where he literally wrote: "Thanks for being such a big part of this wild journey". That's literally a thank you message, appreciation for us all.

And, at the same time, seeing as he's been receiving shit left and right since June 13th, I can't blame him at all for going radio silence a little bit. Anyone would have done the same to save their sanity. By then, his job was already done. He shot the series, promoted the show and presented it to fans all over the world. There's nothing else an actor needs to do.

But now, as we see him coming back to us little by little, I can't help but be grateful that the haters haven't driven him away completely. He cares. Any idiot can see that. So stop bad mouthing a man, just because he has not met your insane expectations for him.

I'll definitely want to see it! But also worried I won't manage to in the cinema since for like past two years my sensitivity to violence (and I mean like 16 and up rated content) has gone crazy. So then if I want to see something with literally any violence, I have to do that at home so I can exit the room lol It's insane and I hate it, but alas idk how to deal with that when exposure only makes me very squeamish and I wince and flinch and then can't watch at all.

So yeah, I wanna watch but it's hard 🙈 also as anyone who's following me knows the hyperfixations have gone crazy and I got obsessed with something else. For which I do feel sorry sometimes... But also it makes me happy so.
