• i only have names for the twins, andrea (aaron needed a Moment after admitting he wanted to name her that) and annelise (annie for short);

• all of the cubs know he doesn't like being touched;

• kevin got everyone (including the adult foxes, and including david, abby, stephanie and bee) the matching santa hats with cat fox ears;

• dan and matt's first child loves exy and captains his little league team;

• renee and allison adopt a little girl through unconventional ways. allison dresses her up in all sorts of little outfits;

• nicky and erik's kid is the newest addition to the bundle. it took a while for nicky to get over a lot of things from his time being the twins' guardian, and at first they wanted to adopt a baby, but after knowing this child they decided to keep him. he also gets a hat, but wants to show off his minecraft reindeer antlers a little longer;

• king fluffkins, andrew's daughter, is a rescued ragdoll mix runt from a breeder's litter who threw her away. if the breeder is never heard from again, neil doesn't know anything about it. she and her brother sir fat cat mccatterson ruin andrew's goth vibe.

then someone says no it’s that upperclassman and the sudden relief she feels that aaron is safe he’s fine it’s not him and yes someone died but it’s not him

Katelyn seemed nervous at first, but she warmed up quickly and chatted almost nonstop through dinner. She was so enthusiastic about apparently everything in the world that it was a little exhausting listening to her, but Aaron looked so alive in her presence Neil couldn’t hold it against her.

i wanna know how katelyn and aaron got together. i wanna know how katelyn looked past his initial coldness and decided to get to know him. i wanna know how aaron decided she was worth breaking his promise with andrew for. i wanna know how aaron learned to accept her touch after nothing but violence from his mother. i wanna know how katelyn went from a stranger on the cheerleading team to someone aaron seeks comfort from. i wanna know how aaron felt after realizing katelyn couldn’t be chased away even by a murder charge and threats and physical violence from his brother. i wanna know the exact moment they realized they loved each other.

i like how we now have direct insight into how whipped aaron actually is for katelyn. he's just gonna yap about her. he just needs any reason to be like - 'have you heard about my wife? she wants to be a pediatrician and has big aims in life and i want to follow her around like a dog on a leash. and i find no shame in it. i love her and i'll scream it from rooftops.'

and right beside him is his brother. andrew, who refuses to even speak the name of the person he is in love with. who goes out of his way to get them matching armbands so he doesn't have to look at his scars. who loves in quiet, subtle ways. who knows he can't let go of neil, but just can't seem to admit it to himself or anyone else. but isn't it strange that he doesn't have to? neil already knows, and him knowing is all that matters. who won't scream from rooftops, because he doesn't scream at all but he would sit next to neil and prove time and time again that the love between them is real.
