Ok so I had a bit of a complex idea for a raven neil fic and I wanna hear your guy's thoughts.

Basicly the series would be called Birds of a Feather and all of the fics in it would be from lyrics from Billie Elish's birds of a feather.

Sooo over concept is that I wanted a raven neil fic where it pics up where tsc court starts expet both neil and jean get out, and they both stay at Palmetto. It would be an andreil and kevjean fic mainly. So there are 4 fics I was considering to be a part of this little seris.

We should stick together - this is the main fic, the others will either be one shots of short chapters. This is mostly Neil's pov, of at least mostly focused on neil. This is him and jean healing at Palmetto.

I love you till the day that I die - kevin's pov, all kevjean. It's basically just like to explain how kevjean went with nathaniel at the nest.

Don't wanna say goodbye - jean's pov, one shot, this is to tell the story of how kevin leaving the nest happened

I don't know why I'm crying for - this one is def the most different one I thought of. So, if Neil never was an option and Jamie still killed herself, the foxes still need a striker? This would be my oc and her telling of the main events of aftg. I'm thinking maybe first person for this, like diary entries or something so that why it's baiclly just recapping how aftg played out while still being interesting. If ya'll wanna know more about this oc I'll go into detail cuz I've got actually quite a bit ready for her lol.

And words cannot describe how badly I hate Kevin/Thea as a genuine and well intentioned ship because AFTG is all about the subtext, we know via subtext alone the extent of the abuse exectuted by the ravens and the amount of control the is executed over them and the timeline if I understand correctly is as follows:

-Kevin is raised IN THE NEST. at the very least after early childhood

-Thea is drafted to the raven’s HER senior year of college

-this would be (based on the idea that Thea’s on a four year course (god FORBID it’s a five year program then it’s worse)) Kevin’s freshman year of HIGH SCHOOL??????

-making Thea outsider presence in Kevin’s life and a whole adult when Kevin is 14/15 years old when they meet

-apparently didn’t make anything “lowkey” official (i.e dating in secret from the public and the ravens) until Kevin started college but the wording of that implies they were building some type of tension beforehand.

-during highschool for Kevin.

-while Thea was progressing through . College.

-and then, after Kevin turns 18 start (implied by Renee in book one) dating in a very lowkey unacknowledged by the public way . Secret one might say. Like she doesn’t want someone to find out she’s dating a kid

-then. Kevin gets his hand broken. Effectively making the two too separated to have an effective relationship

Which, sure, is small potatoes to the ritual, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse he suffered in evermore but seriously? I’m supposed to root for the grooming because it’s not as bad as the abuse?
