ahh thank you so much that means a lot!!! and if you love to draw then you’re already doing great honestly, skill comes with time and practice so don’t be too hard on yourself!!

as for advice all i can say is : observe a lot!! real life, other artists, anything that catches your eye. breaking things down into simple shapes helps a ton (especially for more realistic styles) also, don’t be afraid to make “bad” art, it’s all part of learning!! trying new things, experimenting with different styles, and just having fun with it makes a huge difference

and yeah i don’t mind sharing, i’m 23 (thought i put that in my bio but guess not) hope that helps and i’m rooting for you!!!

Hiiii!!!! Your art is absolutely breathtaking and I’m in awe every time!! May I ask what brushes you use? I’m trying to get into digital art but I don’t know where to start

hiii omg thank you so much that means a lot!!! and welcome to digital art!! it can feel overwhelming at first but once you find what works for you it’s super fun

for brushes, i’ll add some screenshots of the ones i use!! but just a heads up, i usually modify them to fit what i need so they might not be exactly how you’d find them on procreate. some like the hairbrush and the watercolor (aquarelle) brush, i downloaded them and the “best pencil” came from a pack i think i bought but i honestly don’t remember from who (sorry)

but honestly, don’t stress too much about having the perfect brushes!! experimenting is the best way to figure out what you like!!

for drawing lily and other plus-sized characters, i try to focus on soft shapes and natural weight distribution, like how fat rests on the body instead of just adding volume to a standard figure. looking at real body types helps a lot, especially for understanding things like how arms, stomach, and thighs carry weight differently (you can find so many references on pinterest but also on tiktok with ootd videos)
