While I am trying to comprehend the Horse Race Tests OVA here are some Wimpy Kid musical designs I've done

Love when races are really long to convey that the horses are stalling because nobody wants to win. It's like Cyan VS White.

Bullet'n and Door Knob saw what happened to Lightning and Skybox when they won and said "man the floor sure is floory today."

Ok so updating this after the Friday races because god was I wrong.

Saturday 1: I think this will play out fairly similar to the previous two races, with Bullet and Door Knob fusing and Bin and Truck Stop fusing. I don't think much will be different from the previous two, but I could be wrong.

Saturday 2: This one will probably be different, as again, the only characters we know are Cyan (who I still think could be capable of electrocuting the other racers) and a presumably greenified AMF. I still believe the one under the cloak is either Knifemare or Realism, although I am leaning a lot more towards Realism with the way it's going. But I don't think Cyan is going to fuse with Realism or AMF, I think she's going to fuse with the egg, or something similar, which I assume will be the question mark in this race. This may sound insane, but look at this sprite from the screen where Skybox Trikes Thrice was being made

It looks like a round version of Cyan, most likely her fused with some kind of round object. I do not know what this means for her.

Sunday 1: I feel like this race is likely going to be all of the non-nightmare fusions. If we go back to the sprite screen, we'll see this sprite, which seems to be a fusion of Comely and Res, along with what seems to be her name, "Day Time", in the sidebar which lists the names of the horses.

Why would this, or STT's sprite for that matter, need to exist if they weren't being used for anything? Also, I believe it's only the non-nightmares that are in this because the sprite for Abomination Nation doesn't appear on the sprite screen, although neither does AMF's, so maybe it's just that not all the important sprites are on the screen. Part of me feels like like these races are setting up the disappearance of the nightmares with them being green and fusing and all which would be sad because Garbage Bin is one of my favourite horses and I'd miss her a lot. Still love Horse Race Tests though.

Sunday 2: I still don't think I know all that much about this one, in fact, maybe even less now considering that the only question mark we've had so far is an egg, so Merry could be racing anyone. I feel like Green is likely though, with how things have been going. I really want to know where the whole fusion thing is leading though.

While we still have time, I'm going to theorise on what the events of each race will be

Friday 1: I imagine Comely and Res will be fighting Midwest and Biomorph, trying not to let whatever happened to Cyan happen to them. Whoever wins will go to the next race and depending on who wins, Comely and Res may become nightmares later.

Friday 2: I imagine this is either Skybox and potentially Comely or Res fighting against Plasticine and potentially Midwest or Biomorph to save Lightning, or fighting off Plasticine and an already corrupted Lightning. Either feels possible. Also I have to mention that in these races, I think the nightmares will actually be able to use whatever abilities they have (if they can), like for example Cyan can electrocute the other horses and Plasticine can duplicate herself. Similar to the previous race, Lightning's fate depends on this one.

Saturday 1: This is probably going to be Door Knob and Garbage Bin fighting Truck Stop Highway and a corrupted Bullet. Again, the winner from this race will go on to the next one.

Saturday 2: AMF VS Cyan, with the ghost helping the corrupted Cyan if it's Knifemare, and either trying to save her from herself or joining her if it's Realism. I honestly hope Bin makes it into this one, because the narrative potential of Cyan's redeemed inner demons seeing her like this is INSANE. I also think Realism being under that cloak would also make sense narratively, because AMF was originally created as a manifestation of Cyan's distrust of Realism, so imagine him telling Cyan to listen to her as she's trying to save her. IDK I think it's interesting that these manifestations of Cyan's insecurities have now become their own people.

Sunday 1: You can't get much from question marks, but I assume the victors from the first two days will be there. I don't know who the other two are but Green and Realism/Knifemare are not out of the question.

Sunday 2: Again, I can't get much from what we currently have, but something tells me we're finally going to figure out what happens when a racehorse trancends. I imagine this race will also take place on a green/orange course similar to the ones from season 2. Honestly I could see all the races here taking place on courses similar to season 1's nightmare world courses.

The kind of tension that would occur on the Skittles Squad with Lightning and Res together and Merry missing would be hard to deal with so yeah I honestly can't blame Cyan for going and joining the Green Team.

Disappointed that nobody has called Comely the Pink Lady yet. Like it's right there.

One thing I find interesting about this new announcement is the choice to portray the characters as silhouettes.

I find this interesting because if all the horses looked the same as when we last saw them, it would be very easy to just show them. We already know who all of them are (unless they just bring out red, blue or green Door Knob for some reason), so why would making them silhouettes make any difference unless there's something that's different? Considering the Skittles Squad was seemingly kidnapped by Midwest in e2m4t4, and we've already seen what happened to Cyan, I think it's possible that a similar thing happened to Comely, Res, Lightning and Bullet, with them becoming nightmares and potentially gaining abilities similar to Cyan and the other cloaked nightmares. I feel like three out of four of them being in the races on Friday helps this theory, because they'd probably want it to be established early to get a reaction similar to what happened when Cyan, Realism and Merry became nightmares in the tournament. And Bullet's race is with a member of the Green Team and two of the Ones Who Knock, so I could see that race sort of being Truck Stop Highway and Bullet'n Board VS Garbage Bin and Door Knob.
