what i am still stuck on re halifax is that this would be a lot of the canadian guys' first introduction to mack. they've heard about him and played against but they don't really know him yet. and this is a guy who some of the younger canadians will presumably be playing on many team canadas with on the future. it's important that they have a good relationship. and their first impression of him—the first impression mack himself gave them—is that he's attached at the hip to this other dude. mack more or less said to them that if they want to get to know him, they'll have to get to know will at the same time. is that not insane

when you have a very limited window called the offseason to bulk and there’s simply no time for some fitness influencer lean gains calorie deficit bullshit you need to LIFT and you need to LIFT HARD and it doesn’t matter how clean you eat the human body is always going to put on some fat as it puts on muscle and that’s just how bodies work and once the season starts the extra weight is going to melt off anyways but right now your forearms are thick as hell and you show up to halifax with your (also thick as hell) torso stuffed into a dark tee shirt and there’s a new layer of softness over your chest and tummy and the fabric catches over it every time you move. what then!
