Bad opinion but I’m worried Good Omens season 2 is gonna be… bad

tl;dr No one will like at the bottom

Part of what makes Good Omens good is the way smaller lives are intertwined and collide into the biggest event. Eternal inevitably and the inconceivable whims of the Almighty are portrayed with levity, and the very human (or sometimes not) relationships are taken very seriously

The ineffable is affected by the insignificant because it isn’t insignificant at all

With this element of something cosmically large versus cosmically small gone it just feels like a fanfic. Like a kinda typical fluffy one-shot, not even a crack fic stupid enough to be fun

I have no idea the full plot (and still need to finish the final ep of season 1, though I did get it spoiled amongst Other Things ™️,) but yeah, just looking at that one poll alone where a lot of people’s fav side character season 1 was the Delivery Man who was such a small part of it but his brief characterization and his tragic end (“all part of the plan”) is so memorable and clearly a fan fave…

I dunno, I’m sure these new characters will be lovely and well written and engaging but I’m more invested in the whole of Good Omens and how it tackles spirituality and the Big Questions and intimate relationships VS just Aziraphale’s and Crowley’s fascinating and adorable and frustrating relationship 😶

Momagers, Stage Mom's & Mama's Boys: The Dysfunctional Moon Child

Moon influenced people often come from households where they had a very dysfunctional relationship with their parents. Both parents are usually toxic but the Moon person forms a close, overly sympathetic and anxiously attached bond with one parent who they perceive as the victim or martyr in some way. (Dad's abusive or neglectful and mom's the one trying her best, for example).

WHY does this happen?

Moon is said to be the most Yin of the planets. It's passive, feminine and emotional.

She's extremely close to her mom but I still think its fcked up that a literal teenager had to become the breadwinner of a family of 8 and endure all kinds of abuse in a toxic industry and in a country where she knew nobody just to break even.

It's interesting to me how in most of these cases, the fathers were either absent or neglectful. These people grew up under the sole care of their mothers and it created an overly possessive, toxic, codependent bond. All of these people have spoken about how hard their mom's lives were and how they're grateful for everything their mothers did for them. This tendency of the Moon to make its natives be entirely sheltered from Yang or male influence or in some ways find Yang influence repulsive is very telling.

Similar to how Sun influenced people find it difficult to relate to or connect with Yin themes (like being clingy, attached, being nurturing in a traditional way, being openly loving etc) Moon influenced people struggle the most with detachment, letting go, independence etc. The extremes of both these can be unhealthy. It's important to learn how to be balanced and not give in to the tendencies that can harm both us and the people in our lives.

You know I had to do something in honor of at least Uraume lol. There was more to this drawing, but I kind of biffed Sukuna's skin tone. I can't help but imagine his skin being a little big more tan than everyone else's, yet I felt like I made it way too dark. I used alcohol markers as the base and managed to lift some of the saturation, I was still kind of dissatisfied with it, so I just ended up calling it quits.

As of late, I've been devoting my skill and concentration to non-fanart pieces, so I didn't have has strong of an urge to make every aspect about this drawing entirely perfect. I've really been into making art with soft, grainy gradients of color with colored pencils, which takes a lot of time (time I regrettably did not want to put into this drawing lol).

Should I put my other non-JJK art work on here? I feel like it doesn't attract enough attention but I have a lot of things I'd like to share :)

Hi everyone, kind of a long update:

I booked an appointment at the doctors for the lumps in my neck, only to realise after some heavy googling afterwards that my lymph nodes are just swollen, which yes is weird bc I’m not ill, but they are relatively normal for swollen lymph nodes, as in they’re painful (a good sign), and they aren’t absolutely massive. So now I’m afraid I’m gonna look like an absolute knob to the doctor because i didn’t even know you had lymph nodes there 🫠

They have no apparent cause to be swollen though, so on a whim I did a little research to see if my 4n0r3x14 is what’s causing it, and I didn’t find any professional healthcare websites on this, but I did find a comment on an 3D forum of a girl who said she was 4n0r3x1c for just under a year and had permanent swollen lymph nodes in her neck.

Another commenter replied saying that it could essentially just be that her body is treating her as if she’s permanently sick, and so is mass-producing lymphocytes (white blood cells) to try and fight some invisible infection lol (when it’s really an 3D)

So if it’s anything, it’s probably that. But obviously I ain’t telling the doctor that, I’ve contemplated cancelling the appointment, but with my social anxiety I just feel like it would be an even bigger inconvenience to them and also I realllyyyyy hate calls.

Also, another thing I’ll mention here to see if anybody has any possible reason for this: I haven’t had my period yet, when I definitely should have. And I know your periods can stop with an 3D, but this fast? Really? I’ve only been back into it for 2 weeks. I’ve had the other symptoms that a period is coming, mainly my b00b$ (idk if I can say that without getting t3rm3d or smth lol), but yeah they’ve been very tender and heavy, which usually happens before my period, but I’ve just not had one still, and they‘ve been tender like that now for a good week and a half.

I definitely don’t think I’m pregnant, but my boyfriend is going to pick me up a test today just to bring me some ease.

Anyways, back to the actual 3D shit:

I haven’t eaten today yet, I had a C4 energy drink (15) before bc I was exhausted (I haven’t been to sleep all night), and I’m scared of gaining today if I eat my usual amount bc I haven’t been to sleep (idk the logic of that either really, I think my brain is trying to count it as adding onto yesterday’s c4ls lol).

It was supposed to be my fasting day today, but I got scared that the doctor was going to make me get a blood test (which he still might, but not today), and then it would show that I have barely any nutrients in my body. I haven’t eaten anyways, so either way, if he was gonna do one today I’d be fcked. But I’m gonna have a skinny bar or a fibre brownie or smth before I leave, just to hopefully keep me going for a little longer.

I’m also in work today, only on a 4 hour shift, which is both bad and good, bad for my money but good for my wellbeing lmfao.

Gonna take my rest day today since I haven’t slept, and I just know that going the doctors and THEN work straight after will drain the life out of me.

Idk how much I’ll eat today, I’m not feeling like eating much, but I will update you guys later on obviously with my daily rundown.

Im very scared, but I will be fine, everything will be done with soon, and I can relax and then just pure bash Minecraft when I come in lol.

About the Purple Crown: Ive been seeing a lot of interpretations of Goat's Crown going around and honestly Id like to put in my cents: I dont think the Crown being purple changes who the owner was, because the eye shape is still the same as Lamb's Which brings me to think that, just like how in COTL everything seems to be colored after warmer/reddish colors, everything in Goat's universe must be following cooler/purpleish palettes What does that mean to me? That ALL the other Crowns are of different colors as well, maybe a colder one compared to their original ones

Im still thinking about what each of them would be here but so far I like to think that Yellow -> Ocean green?? Green -> Blue Blue -> dark pink? Purple -> Cyan/White

I think the Crown shapes would still be the same + what each Bishop's domain would be as well

About Aym and Baal: They were never offered to Narinder. Shamura didnt have that compassion. They were so mad at their brother that they couldnt bring themselves to consider his feelings for being banished. Neither did any of the other siblings, for they wouldve been too busy fighting off Old Gods and hunting for empowerment

So where are Aym and Baal? Theyre alive! With Forneus! And both of them are lil jerks as much as their mother Taught to steal, lie and fight, all in order to survive no matter what. IPKKND LIVE BLOG - Season 1 [Epi - 2]

Cooooommmmmmmeeee ooooooonnnnnnnn, letz start the second epiiiiiiiiii.

So we are starting right from where we had left them off. ANDDDDD BAAAAMMMM! Khushi jolts out of her (or rather their?) trance and realizes where her hand is, snatches it back. Pulling out Arnav from his trance as well.

I want you to focus on their expressions in the scene. Look closely, when she snatches her hand away from his collar. His gaze, instantly falls down to her hand and there's a moment where he steels himself and maybe even thinks that 'How dare she!'.

It's as if Arnav realizes that he needs to be angry and THEN all hell breaks lose, as he throws her out of his hands. He orders the head of his PR team to control the photos and videos of this 'scandal'. Khushi is locked in a room for interrogation.

Back in Gomti Sadan, the neighborhood aunties are gossiping about Khushi's absence. Buaji asks about the papers' whereabouts to Payal. But, Payal, already very nervous and tongue-tied, reduces to tears. I am surprised why did Buaji not see the change in her demeanor and most importantly her spilled tears. But, that's also not much surprising coz Buaji can hardly ever read Payal or Khushi's distress over anything that they seem to be facing alone, in the entire show. This scene also indicates that Payal has never been the rule-breaker kid, she's always been kind of a 'yes-man' to her parents.

Ohh! Did you notice how Khushi's voice sounds so off? Do you know why? Turns out Sanaya was sick with cold while shooting this sequence. She mentioned this in that interview with Mrs. Gul Khan, which was released right after IPK ended a few months ago.

Arnav instructs the team to interrogate Khushi and check whether a rival company (Re-Fashion? RI-Fashion? REE-Fashion? whatever, lol.) send her there to ruin his fashion show in exchange of some petty amount of money.

Payal's belief, of her Abhishek ji standing up to his family's demand of the dowry, breaks. She realizes that he is present there, knows everything going on but still refuses to speak up. She is heart-broken.

Was it only me or you also thought that the way Sanaya pronounced 'profession' is kind of-idk-intriguing?-sexy?-hot?-pata nahi choro (ok, leave it.)

Garima tries to associate the papers' absence to Khushi's absence. Payal has been caught like a deer caught in headlights.

Arnav comes to meet or rather to interrogate his wife 'that' girl, for 'answers'. Khushi requests him to let her go as she explains him that she landed there by mistake.

He is so adamant in throwing all the unfortunately familiar 'accusatory' questions. What was that 'Wipro-Fashion'? 'PRO-Fashion'? Whatever. See, many of you would disagree, here, but I think he is legit right in doubting her intentions, given the type of people he would have dealt with till now in this profession. Although, WE know, from Khushi's POV, that she is right, BUT that's the thing, he doesn't.

"Then let it (the marriage) break. Problems like these are nothing for girls like you. If one leaves, then trap another." ("Toh tut jaane do shaadi. Tum jaisi ladkiyon ka kya hai. Ek jayega, dusra phasaa lena.") And the BG score changes to something close to tandav beats. Maybe, just maybe he realized that he has struck a chord or crossed a line or fcked up real bad. It can be any of the three.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! The dreaded moment is here. Khushi retaliates but she does not realize the volcano in front of her, ready to burst out with hot, molten lava. She attempts to side step him but he grabs her by the arm and yanks at the dori of her blouse. Pearls scatter around, everywhere on the floor. Khushi is horror struck, devastated, horrified and all the girls watching this for the first time already knew what that meant. And hated Arnav for doing that to her for a long, long time.

See the irony, here. In the previous episode, we saw them together in that beautiful frame. No-one had any doubt of them being the alpha couple of the show. BUT. BUT. BUT.

After this scene, audience must have doubted, some might even have gone to the extent to declare Arnav as the villain. And later considered Shyam as the hero, coz of the way, he was introduced (we will come to that in that episode).

Hmm. I am thinking. Why did he let her go? Like? So....easily? After she pulled the ribbon from her hair and covered her exposed back, or rather her modesty. Arnav has frozen. At his spot. He isn't even moving a finger. (I will have to process this scene and then will let you know in a separate post.)

With this, the scene blurs and along with Khushi, we reach Gomti Sadan, where everything is eerily silent. Wait. Did we reach so early? Didn't Khushi take the whole day to reach SM? Then how come- ohh Guilty Arnav might have arranged a car for her to reach her home safely-Lol. Who am I kidding with? This is ASR, we are talking about. Let's stop with the wishful thinking.

Gomti Sadan. Gossips. Malign in their social image. A broken marriage. All of these are termed as a "Kali' (black ink) by Buaji. And who's at fault? Khushi. She talks of pulling off her braid and handing it to her. Basically, beat her ass off.

Buaji, I think, was never able to accept Khushi as her own child. She was always the only one to differentiate between the two. She was only the one who instigated Garima and Shashi against her. Although, Shashi had wholeheartedly accepted her as his daughter but Garima, often used to get manipulated into believing the worst, in Khushi.

Even now both Buaji and Garima are convinced that Khushi was, somehow, jealous of her sister's fate (that she was getting married) and so to malign it, she decided to sabotage the wedding by taking away the papers and fleeing out of everyone's sight until the wedding is called off.

Lol. Junior Engineer. And Buaji thinks, that's self-explanatory for them, having a right to ask for a dowry. Khushi explains herself. But, she is admonished by her (B-ji), for acting like a 'Dadi Amma', means trying to act above her age, by interfering in elders' matters.

Still, for the Guptas', specifically for Mrs. Garima Gupta, a broken marriage is worse than Payal getting married into a money-hungry family. Do you see it here? Getting MARRIED is of more importance than getting married into THE RIGHT FAMILY.

And as if all this admonishing and insulting is not enough, so, she kind of disowns her daughter. "Mat kaho hume Amma".

Khushi, who already had abandonment issues, guilt of being a burden to 'this' family, is now shell shocked. Someone please save this poor kid.

Buaji does it again! Hip, hip hurray guys! She again pulls up the orphan card and a non-refundable debt (of getting adopted by her brother and sister in law) card! What an awesome timing Buaji! Shut up Buaji. What? Shashi said this. Not me. I have manners, ok.

"Arre tujhse saga humara koi nahi hai." Payal's words calms Khushi to some extent. But, they are still not enough as we see that Khushi cannot sleep, and keeps tossing and turning, recalling her amma's harsh words.

She wakes up and opens their shop's door. Khushi is shown handling an LPG gas cylinder, an oil cannister and lighting a match stick, giving us the impression of her attempting to give up her life.

Precap starts. *quickly pauses it* I don't watch precaps. Spoilers. Don't like them. Bye. Such a stressful episode to watch.

I have been asked before, the reality is that no, I don’t read ff much - every now and then I do read some stories, but almost never Harry/V or tomione. That’s partly because I am soooooo picky now about what I want to read, which is, of course, why I started writing this very specific and utterly fcked up ff in the first place - but also because writing several long fics at once leaves little time for reading stuff. There’s also this annoying thing that happens when i read the ships I write where i just can’t focus on the story because I keep being reminded about what’s going on in my own fic currently and I feel guilty and like I should get back to that.

all that being said - there are SO many amazing harrymort stories out there that I know deserve recognition and I will probably read and review one day. As for tomione… idk, I haven’t even really tried to get into that outside of my own story because so many of the people who ship it are so… Mean??? Like to me, to their fellow shippers, to just?? Everyone??? Not talking about you ofc anon, just something I’ve noticed and don’t love. Maybe it’s fandom in general lately but seems like a lot of readers are becoming craaaaaaazy entitled. First of all, I would like to say that this man gives heavy earth energy for some reason that I didn’t expect😭. He’s very duty-and-goal-oriented, and you can rely on him to complete his job. Even his short phrase — “Jester, I have completed the task you gave me.” gives very Capricorn vibes. Also, agreeing to the negotiation for killing off his segments for a Gnosis... a pretty frosty Capricorn move — Capricorns will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, and their methods may be shocking to people because of how cold and sharp their decisions can be. And the experiments he makes??💀💀 This man doesn’t feel anything, and it’s also his Venus to blame. But we will get there. Also, the way he hates his time being wasted and he clearly voices this out is another trait of Cappies. However, this doesn’t mean they won’t invest in something that should bring harvest in the future.

It was difficult to pick between Aquarius or Leo rising, but you guys see my verdict lol. Yes, he may come off as disturbingly weird and innovative, but the way he holds himself commands awe and respect — his tone, speech, body motions. Wherever he goes, he takes up the space. Remember his behavior and body language in Sumeru in the scene where he manipulated the citizens — he’s very prideful. He is confident in his abilities and this feeling oozes out of him.

All of the fcked up weirdness, innovativeness, being open to possibilities... I believe it comes from his Aquarius Venus. He enjoys and thrives to learn and experiment on something new. His methods were unacceptable and out of the norm, for which he got expelled from Akademiya and thrown out of Sumeru and he’s still salty abt it lmao. He’s also very detached, which combines with his Capricorn. ‘Emotional intimacy’ is not in his vocabulary — don’t even bother, he will call it ‘silly’, and this being the lightest word I used.

NOW. His Mercury in Cancer... it’s DARK. OKAY?? And I’m sure it’s at a very high degree. I was originally thinking to put Cancer Mars cuz it also fits him, and this placement is completely FCKED UP (many many serial killers have this exact placement and that’s something I found out myself). All of his experiments??? The Underground Arena??? All of the plots and manipulation of literally everyone and everything??? Literally the whole plot revolves around the aftermath of his actions that always affect everyone in Teyvat. And guess what? He is not going to stop nowhere soon. That was one of the most tumblr/mutual dreams I've prolly ever had 🤣 (Today at 7am)

I'm not sure, if I remember how it started, but somehow, I was omw to visit Wolv at his home. It was raining and there was a crossroad that made it super hard for me to orientate, which direction I need to go. But eventually, I found the house. Wolvs room had like a big window/door that lead right into the backyard, that I entered to get into his room without his relatives noticing something. At first we both were rather silent cuz- yea the awkwardness when you meet someone for the first time? But I also didn't know what to expect- in a way like, would I meet him while he's rather moody or chill lol. But we got more and more chill as we just sneaked on all fours through his house and played with dogtoys? 😭🤣 ahem anyway.

We decided that the night was nice enough, to make a run outside, but before we actually did so, Wolv pulled out two tissues so that we could clean our glasses so that our vision isn't even more limited in our fcked up bodies lmfao. He had a quick discussion with one of his relatives, why he would leave the house still this late at night, but got away quick cuz... I mean... What do they wanna do with him? Lock him up? lol

So we basically ran with a mix of doing quads or just- on two legs but with a pretty hunched over back (and we were fast like this too lol) and went back to the crossroad, where I, but also Wolv had some orientation issues, as he told me when we arrived. (Not how to get there from his house but how to get into town) There was also a big bridge over one of the roads where we chilled beneath for a while until 6 other otherkin/therians showed up (three were still much younger than we were and we didn't really know them? And then the other 3 were also adults where one of them was *drumroll* Luka 🤣) So yea... We all talked only a little but mainly were shifted and just discovering that area. Later Luka and I also got a little more relaxed and we started to chat a little, if I will show up more often there now, as I seem to be pretty chill. Amd I was like "sure why not?". At first I was pretty unsure of what to expect. Cuz I was so used of people around me being weirded out, when I show more of my wolfside, but we were all the same in that group no one felt judged and we just were ourselves as much as possible. The reason why we all met up under the bridge had two reasons, first of all, the echoes under it were insanely cool for group howls, secondly, if you went up instead of beneath it, you had a sick view and also- howls lol

Anyway.. That was definitely one of the most otherkin kinda dreams I've ever had and I could imagine, that it happened because of the voice reveal of Luka yesterday? That my brain was like "ooh new data of a mutual just dropped, lemme just work with that" 😂 I mean, I also never heard Wolv talk before, so for this one I had to use my imagination lmao

I was dealing with a job where I was subjected to constant belittling, microagressions, mismanagement of the schedule, ableism resulting in having to do my job in a way that injured me and caused me excruciating pain, insults, retaliation, threats, and dismissal of hazardous work conditions contributing to serious, textbook heat stroke which they then told me I had to just “deal with”; my choices were to go home and try to recover by myself or go back to work and probably have to go to urgent care and be stuck with a huge medical bill. They had not taken any other precautions to protect their employees; we were required to work outdoors when with very little effort, the stations we were posted at could have been moved to inside areas. I couldn’t go the next week to work either because it was going to be even hotter, and I’d already had my first write-up and knew that I would be fired anyway, so I decided to cut my losses and put my health first, and I walked off. It was a temporary job too, but of course they had drastically overstated how much it paid, and had also given us no transparency about the large amount taken out of our paychecks. I could go on about the specifics but let me just say i was absolutely floored that a company that mismanaged, who treated their employees openly with contempt, with so many workplace violations, could function *at all* 

I was treated with more day-to-day respect by management during my covid job when they wanted us to keep working before a vaccine or masks which literally put our lives in danger. 

Anyway. I have enough money saved up for internet, household goods, and xeno’s food and medicine as long as I eat as little as possible for this month. After I pay my rent on August first i will be dollars away from bankruptcy so yeah. Trash pile Year 2022 has turned into trash pile 2023 for me sadly.

i wouldn't mind alicia and lloyd marrying each other if only their relationship got developed well... cause 300+ chapters and there's no relationship development between at all... in fact lloyd kept on pressing that he doesn't want to get married to a noble, doesn't want to be a king, just wants to be a bum and all, and live at the frontera fiefdom... and poof feels like he isn't allowed to get his wish... and doesn't alicia wants to have lloyd work and work for the prosperity of the kingdom, which lloyd also doesn't want... it feels like they just slap alicia and lloyd together so they can write a sequel and continue the bum lazy husband x hardworking wife trope...

also it bugs me of the implications, lloyd gets married into the magentano, so lloyd probably stays at the capital, then what about the frontera fiefdom who is the successor there, it's not julian since he stays at the capital too and also works for the royalty... (i'm guessing since i haven't read far from the official translations)

and what about javier when did he and siluria develop? siluria is supposed to be the head of namaran, which lloyd vouched for, she can't marry javier and go to the frontera fiefdom, and what about javier if he marries her, shouldn't he be staying at namaran too?

basically if the ending of the novel is when javier went to find suho (basing on the spoilers) then i would be fine something open ended and shows the main relationship of tged which is lloyd/suho and javier... or maybe show that he reunties with the frontera family too after javier picked him up... too be honest if alicia and lloyd's relationship was written/introduced in the sequel novel instead of rushed haphazardly in the tged novel then i think that would have been the best way

It would be nice. It would be better if they started their relationship by starting to truly build trust with each other unlike how Alicia fully trusts Lloyd because the world tells her to. And the bottom line is that he couldn't write a romance that made sense enough for me to accept it considering that it was mostly about Javier and Lloyd's relationship. Not even talking about the sequel...

Yeah I completely agree with you :D I love Alicia/Lloyd they have interesting chemistry and potential (no mention to the webcomic it's completely fcked up.) But it would have been better if he had let us just imagine what their relationship would be like when he couldn't write it well.

Okay, so I finally watched Across The Spiderverse and I have at least 2 hot takes that will get me hated and cancelled, probably lol.

The first one is that I really disliked the animation for this movie. Idk, about everyone else, but I felt the animation was too fast paced, colorful, weird and confusing. It was pretty eye straining which I did not like at all. That and coupled with the characters talking really rapidly, it didn't mix well with the animation at all, if you ask me. Anyone else feel the eyestrain was real for this film?

Anyways, for this film I was most excited about Miguel O'Hara because half Mexican! I was hoping for, but from the trailers, honestly not holding my breath for some good representation. Because of this I'm weary of the film and where the sequel will head.

Like it's really great to see more Mexican characters, but I feel that this itself is the problem. It seems like Miguel is written in a way to be a morally grey character and in a way that he will be seen as a villain by the majority of the viewers. Now, I haven't really looked at the fandom because of spoilers, but from the little I I've seen, it's either you hate him because of his behavior and views or you you love him because he's hot. At least, these seem to be the two extremes. Now, as an indigenous Mexican myself, I hate how Mexican characters are portrayed stereotypically in films and/or are only shoved into grey areas/antagonistic roles. It's very tiring to see. Atsv has great Afro Latino representation, sure, but with Miguel it feels really iffy to me. Idk. Miguel just seems to have this negative air to him and not just because of the loss and pain he's lived through and experiences that has led him to behave the way he does and see the world as he sees it. I just don't want more Mexican characters who are 'mean,' or seen as villains, or just portrayed as being wrong, you know.

This is why I'm very weary of the sequel and not holding my breath either like I said.

Looking at how Gwen's father renounced from the police force, I imagine this means it's likely he won't die because he's no longer Captain. So, it seems that this is foreshadowing and indication that in the next movie, Miles will prove Miguel wrong that things aren't set in stone - and his dad will not die and he will save him. I feel like this is pretty tropey and I honestly hope this isn't the case. Don't get me wrong. I do love the messages and themes of saying fck you to fate and making your own destiny and changing things for the better and forging your own destiny, BUT for this franchise; I actually want to see the morally grey character who is seen as a villain and wrong by the viewers and who is cold because of his experiences to actually be right about things no matter how fcked up and tragic it is. Like give me THIS plot twist for once. Let Miguel be right. Lol. Though, I doubt this will happen and will be too dark.

Also, don't get me wrong (again) there's nothing wrong with morally grey characters and this does bring a lot of great complexity to them (which a lot of people don't understand or still dislike and hate them either way which isn't bad per say, people are entitled to their opinions) but again, shoving Mexican characters into morally grey areas [sacrificing one life for the many - and really all the cruel things Miguel said to Miles despite his anger stemming from his experiences and wanting to save the multiverse from collapsing and what not], shoving Mexican characters into villain/antagonistic roles (looking at Black Panther's Namor), is again, tiring to see so many times happens (e.g. especially with the stereotypical drug dealer/criminal roles that just happen again and again). Idk if this makes sense? I really hope it does because this topic of the portrayal of Mexican characters is really important to me.

And honestly me and other Mexicans shouldn't have to settle for any fictional Mexican characters we can get.

I'm not saying the writers are bad people or with malicious intent or anything, but again Miguel's characterization just comes across as iffy to me especially since he serves as representation to me, to Mexicans.
