Who is perimedes?

Perimedes is a member of Odysseus' crew! Although not having a large role in the Odyssey, he used to have a much larger role in Epic then he currently does! He is in several of the cut songs Jorge has shared recently! In those songs we learn that Perimedes claims to not love anyone which is his strength (he is calling out Odysseus for his weakness about struggling to toss the baby from the wall), and that he was depressed, only being able to smile and relax when under the influence of the lotus fruit.

Although there are lots of cut parts with him in it, he still is in Epic! (just not mentioned outloud by name). He can be heard in the Ocean saga during the songs Storm (in which he has a lines he says with Elpenor), Keep Your Friends Close (He is the one to say 'Captain whats happening', 'Open the bag', in addition to a couple lines with Elpenor), and he is also the main voice in Mutiny singing the lines about 'how are we supposed to trust you now' (Its also heavily implied if not confirmed he is the one to stab Odysseus in Mutiny too)

He is one of the only two background crew members to get a name! Likely due to the fact he was going to be a larger character then he ended up being (the other is Elpenor). I dont count Eurylochus and Polities in this because they both get their moment to shine and sing a little solo :)

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #sora #rage form #arendelle #formchange #my gif #rage form is so intriguing #sora still behaves in a wild animalistic fashion similar to his anti form but it's different #anti form felt as if he relinquished all self control and acted strictly on instinct just like a heartless #he used to run around hunched over on all fours and fight tooth and claw with reckless abandon #but here you can at least see SOME semblance of who he is. he's able to wield his keyblade while in this form which is pretty major #he still fights in an absolutely chaotic and primal manner but it feels evolved #the big difference is you call upon rage form at will. he channels his rage and darkness in a desperate last resort to stay alive #which is very significant but he still loses some control like the ability to use of magic; items; shotlocks; etc #it's cool to see darkness used in this way but i really want sora to able to explore themes of darkness within himself in future games #i want these to be more than cool forms with fun gameplay. i want them to have implications that something dark is brewing and needs to be-#brought to the surface and tackled head on because we've never seen anyone capable of cloaking themselves in darkness in such a way #take riku's dark form for example. he's in control and he's very much still himself. it's entirely different #on another note i'm now thinking about how hp is fully restored when activating rage form but you have the choice to give it up again-#when using risk charge. it'll increase attack damage but you're still walking a dangerous line in the pursuit of power

Shockingly underrated thing about Leo is that he’s legitimately charming when he wants to be?

He’s the Faceman! He’s persuasive! That’s not just some random title he gave himself with no backing to it. People will listen to him. Even if they think he’s being annoying or if they’re upset at him, people listen to him anyway! There’s a reason his bros push him out front to talk to people, and when this happens, that talking nearly always works.

Moreover, Leo knows people. He looks at them and takes into account how they act and what they’re like as he makes his way through the conversations. It’s easy to forget this aspect of Leo’s character because he only brings it out when he really needs (read: wants) to, but it really is a notable part of him that always love to see.

And I say charm in particular because he has a knack for not only getting people to pay attention, but for getting people to stay and listen to what he has to say.

Batman never argues for the sake of compassion or rehabilitation in UTRH. Batman was especially callous, punitive, and lacking compassion throughout that early 00s era. He was not championing compassion, rehabilitation, redemption, justice system reform, or (HA!) abolitionism in UTRH—he did not have faith in those things for *the kind of people* whom Red Hood murdered, and he did not have faith in those things for Jason himself.

Every single person that Jason hurt is someone that Batman would hurt. Every single person that Jason murdered is someone that Batman would've unhesitatingly thrown away to rot in prison (a prison system explicitly shown and stated to be outrageously inhumane even by the horrifying standards of the USA).

If the person was lucky, then prison would reform him sufficiently that he could be employed through Wayne Enterprises (Gotham City's biggest employer, seemingly a monopoly on legal employment options for the formerly incarcerated) once he got out after... however long he'd been sentenced. Non-violent felonies can earn years, decades of prison time. Or if he was unlucky he'd be killed by one of the regular prison-breaks staged by Batman's rogues (including Red Hood that one time when a Batman kept him in prison, but more consistently by other repeat rogues).

Red Hood's argument is ''blah blah my crime is not like the other crime‚ my new cycle of violence is totally better than the current 20-year-old cycle of violence.'' Batman's argument is not "we can't throw criminals away‚ they're people just like us :("‚ but instead more like ''ew Jason has succumbed to his inherent criminal nature‚ sucks how he needs to be thrown away with the rest of the susperstitious and cowardly lot.''

ok so nobody asked, but in the absence of some good pictures of pride tape warmups from the sens pride game this weekend, I've been looking into the few pictures that are available and stumbled onto this unidentified player who made the absolute insane decision to use pride tape on their socks??

and i decided i need to know who it is.

the easiest way to start narrowing down the player's identity are the skates. they seem to be Bauer Vapor HyperLite Skates, which 8 sens players use, according to GearGeek.com

we can easily rule out josh since he's been on ir for months, but for everyone else remaining, we need to look at the tape job on the socks and the glimpse of stick

brannstrom, kastelic, tkachuk, stützle and batherson are out because they don't use a candy cane-type of tape

which leaves us with julien gauthier and claude giroux. from there, i zoomed in extremely closely on many, many pictures of their sticks t try to match them to the sliver of stick we see in that first picture and

it's claude giroux. 35 year old, flyers captain of 10 years claude giroux wrapped his shins in a single circumference's worth of pride tape for. pizzaz? support? leadership?

in conclusion, hire me as a sports journalist no one is asking the hard hitting questions like me
