Actually now that I think about it. Tom Riddle absolutely has people he physically cannot touch (most of the human race) and then there’s like. 2 people he will not stop touching (harry, this is about harry)

Voldemort on the other hand, is so far removed from his humanity that the thought of other people’s touch is only tolerated if it’s for his benefit. Followers kneeling at his feet? yes. Hugs? what are you on??? (harry is an exception. harry will always be the exception)

We all know the semi-canonical ‘all the Robins know to hide/duck inside of Batman’s cape, even as adults’ thing.

We also know that Danny ‘is LITERALLY a ghost’ Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.

when people refer to canon story-relevant kingdom hearts games as ‘spinoffs’ it makes me sad not only for the obvious reasons i always say but also bc like man i WISH this series had spinoffs. imagine what they could do if they had permission from nomura to truly go off the rails and ignore the greater canon for a second and just do some fun whimsical plotless thing in an alternate universe. imagine a fishing/boating game on destiny islands. kh fighting game. it is an injustice that we have been deprived of kingdom karts. can anyone hear me

I genuinely love not having a crush like I’m not over here feeling physically sick over some mid guy being dry to me I’m literally chilling

#Spring semester of last year was so bad bc I was unironically into 3 guys at once and they were all #Being dry and cryptic to me #And then before that in 2022 I had my horrid situationship #I had a mini obsession arc in dec 2023 over someone but now there hasn’t been anyone since #And my palette is so cleansed #When a girl is like I miss having a crush I’m like you’re literally a masochist #There was very briefly a girl I thought I had a crush on when I realized I’m bicurious but #I haven’t put effort into talking to her bc the idea of pursuing anyone makes me wanna claw my eyes out #I’m pretty sure I ghosted her by like just not responding to her last messsge actually #Not on purpose but more so bc I realized I was feeling the same anxiety I felt whenever I had a crush so I was like #Yeah I’m dropping this for now #I’m also always the most present for my friends when I don’t have a crush so idk #Like I don’t wanna be consumed by anyone I just wanna chill #The solution to not having normal attraction to people is just to not be attracted to anyone at all #I fr cracked it #I always just crave the butterflies out of it and never an actual relationship anyway #But they’re so not worth it #Which is why I always get bored of guys who’re forthright like oh ok you actually WANT something…. 20.12.23, wednesday

My main hobby is just procrastinating in any way I can. The plan was to make a cup of coffee and then start working. What actually happened is that I watched a 3 part video series (by james hoffmann ofc) on Aeropress coffee and made a few cups with different variables. Still not sure if I found The Recipe for me, but it’s getting better (tho I don’t love the coffee beans I have)

#altho i’m not sure I agree that inverted method is not worth the risks #maybe I just pour my water in too slow (bc I get nervous abt pouring too much) but there’s a fair bit of liquid that manages to get through #before I can place the vacuum on there #so I did it with inverted method #what I took from his recipe was the swirling instead of stirring and letting it rest for 30secs after to get a more even bed of coffee #I did 14g of coffee & 200g of water with a 5min brew -> swirl -> another 30seconds of letting it rest before pressing gentlyy for like 20-3 #seconds #but idk it’s a bit ’’one note’’#which could be the beans #I have medium roast rn and I prefer light roast but the light roast beans have been no where to be found lately idk why #(there aren’t many actual light roast beans and the other ones are waay out of my budget)#(or at least good ones; there’s the one affordable light roast that’s everywhere but I don’t like it that much (but tbf should’ve still #bought that instead of these ones I got))#like this is still way better than what the drip coffee of those beans are #and the achilles heel is that I don’t have a thermometer of any kind so my water temperature is guesswork every time #so tweaking variables is always a bit sketchy bc idk if I just had a better water temperature that time #studyblr #booklr #aesthetic #bookblr #books #study #reading #read #book #coffee #2023 #december 2023

More reluctant king sabo au! I realized recently that this au is an excellent excuse for drawing sabo in pretty outfits that he would be absolutely miserable in :)

#one piece au #sabo #king sabo au #I have a very specific idea of sarie in my head.#in which she is largely a product of her upbringing #entitled but due to being given everything she wanted when she was raised #sheltered and poorly socialized because she was always above those who lived outside the castle #Sarie has the potential to be a good foil to sabo. I think their dynamic would be so interesting #because while I don’t think sabo is interested in love at all #I also don’t think sarie understands what love is outside of the fairytales she is allowed to read #and she must have such a twisted idea of love from growing up in the royal family where I’m sure there must have been fights over heirs #not to mention she must have so many people vying for her attention if whoever marries her is apparently third to the throne #it definitely must have been impressed upon her since she was young that she doesn’t marry for herself #or maybe she realizes this and is waiting for a fairytale knight in shining armor to take her away. idk #I do think that to her sabo is an odd superposition of a prince and a knight #I don’t think she ever really falls in love with him. she’s just so alienated from the concept of love and #someone who actually cares about her as a person that sabo being the first one floors her and convinces her she’s in love

I was feeling particularly horrible about myself today and was totally unable to do anything I’d normally do, but I tried out roblox phighting and it made me feel a little bit better for a while.

I was so unbelievably bad at it bc I suck at all forms of combat games. But the people in my lobby were really nice, and I guess maybe being bad at video games with a bunch of strangers for an afternoon was what I needed.
