Can I be nosy and ask how you got scurvy. In exchange you can take anything you want from my fridge vegetable drawer
oh totally. the fact that i had scurvy remains one of the weirdest twists in this ol life o' mine.
part of this story is funny, the other part not so funny. (TW EDs)
the not so funny part is I got to the point of developing scurvy in an insanely predictable way. I've had a clinical ED all my adult life and a lot of the PSAs warn you about the surface level stuff like "your hair will fall out!" "you'll be tired all the time!" which....yeah. but if you restrict hard enough and long enough youre basically doing a "stranded on a desert island DIY POV" simulation. not to sugar coat it but I was deeply unwell and doing some absolutely Insane things. i was living hot Sir Ernest Shackleton boy summer. except it wasnt hot it was horrible and Shackleton probably wouldve been deeply disappointed and confused by the whole situation.
but as one would naturally imagine if you are tit for tat nutritionally larping as a castaway, you will. Develop Diseases. I remember suddenly noticing that my teeth looked like straight ass and I was getting mouth sores but I wasnt sure why. I developed a fever for weeks that i couldnt shake, the skin on my hands kept chafing off and my fingers would lock up, in general my skin was really bizzare looking with weird scabs and dark spots, and overall i felt utterly awful. Ive been struggling with this for awhile so some of that was my ""normal"" at the time so I didnt really connect the dots until I was reading something about scurvy and went "haha funny sailor disease" only to pause and realise that with my dietary habits, i hadnt eaten fruit or anything containing vitamin C in well over a full calendar year. this caused me to look up the symptoms of scurvy with dawning horror that this mystery onset of symptoms was disturbingly close to scurvy, prompting me to go to the dr and low and behold I basically had la croix flowing through my veins with how terrible my blood levels were.
I was moving out for grad school within the season and i really didnt want to start that with a goddamn captain hook ass disease so for months I had to macrodose on vitamin C like I was a prized guinea pig. seeing those huge tablets still gives me flashbacks.
what gets funny is literally within the week of learning I had scurvy....I also had a major ocular melanoma scare. of which one of the treatments is to surgically remove the eye and/or have eyepatches involved. so for a few months in the summer of 2021 i was hobbling around with scurvy and an eyepatch on this beautiful green world of ours.

i love your prom photos so sad you took them down
was wondering if you could give us your skincare routine and if you could tell us what products have and haven't worked for you?
and your skincare prep for b4 makeup?
a/n: hello! of course i'm willing to do that — I'll link everything as well. it'll be separated into a few different sections: products i use (separated into different sections, and w/ a 'review'), products i tried but didn't like, morning + night routine, make-up skin prep routine. all products from LIKESKIN (check out their website)
SKIN TYPE: dry, acne-prone (I'm prone to pustular acne, cystic acne, and hormonal acne) & MY SKIN CONCERNS: hydration, acne, blemishes, scarring, and hyperpigmentation
THINGS I ALWAYS DO:
Retinol 2-3x a week Vitamin C 2x a week Mask 3x a week Exfoliating toner 2-3x a week
PRODUCTS I USE:
cleansers -
[IUNIK] Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil ;; gets make-up and sunscreen off, gentle and sensitive skin friendly, doesn't break me out.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser - doesn't dry me out, gentle, foams up well, and cleanses my skin properly!
toners -
[ANUA] Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner - hydrating and soothing, helps take down my redness and blemishes
[NEEDLY] Daily Toner Pad - helps with texture and acne
[NUMBUZIN] No.5 Vitamin-Niacinamide - helps with acne scars and any darkness i have, i tend to put these on my cheek area and leave them for awhile
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON ] Green Plum Refreshing Toner: AHA + BHA - this is a light exfoliating toner that overall helps keep my rejuvenated
[DEAR KLAIRS] Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner - extremely hydrating, i use this every day and night so matter what, somewhat viscous
[SOMEBYMI] 30 Day Miracle Toner: AHA + BHA + PHA - exfoliating toner, don't use this if you have sensitive skin, but this helped me get rid of my pustules (acne filled with yellow pus)
serums -
[AXIS-Y] Dark Spot Glow Correcting Serum - mixed feelings on this serum since it helps a lot with my dark spots BUT it works on new scarring + if I use it too often, it triggers my acne.
[SKIN1004] Madagascar Centalla Asiatica Ampoule - incredibly soothing and hydrating, helps keep my acne under control
[The Ordinary] 10% Niacinamide Serum - started using this recently and i love it so much, helps the skin shine, removes texture, reduces acne and pore appearance
[The Ordinary] 0.5 Retinol - helps me extremely with acne; i worked up from 0.1% to 0.2% and now at 0.5%
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Retinal Eye Serum - i just love this one so much, very plumping
moisturisers -
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Dynasty Cream - i love this so, so much; hydrating, lightweight, and doesn't trigger my acne
[IUNIK] Centella Calming Gel - like the axis-y glow correcting serum, over-using this causes me some acne so i tend to use this once or twice a week, and it works wonders!
[COSRX] Centella Blemish Cream - HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT! this is genuinely one of the things that helped me clear my acne to extraordinary levels, especially when i had a huge breakout EVERYWHERE! i also use this as a spot treatment, repurchased this like seven times now
[DEAR, KLAIRS] Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask - using this with vitamin c works wonders and it overall enhances any dark spot removing products! very lightweight, jelly-like texture!
[I'm From] Vitamin Tree Water Gel - i adore this one so much; such a cooling, soothing moisturiser, and it targets almost every skincare concern ever, totally underrated!
sunscreen -
[AXIS-Y] Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen - only sunscreen that didn't make me break out and doesn't have white cast!
masks -
[I'm From] Mugwort Mask - i love this because everytime i have a breakout, it just helps me so much with redness.
[I'm From] Honey Mask - a miracle mask for an acne-prone person! one of my all-time favourite products! gives the skin a gorgeous shine as well! when i run out of this, i also just use manukka honey and oats!
/ so most of the products i use are anti-inflammatory, soothing, and target blemishes/texture/scarring; most people tend to forget that you should try and avoid anti-inflammatory products if you're not acne-prone because it may just end up triggering a breakout! all our skin is different! so here's PRODUCTS THAT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME:
(disclaimer: some of these products were good but i wouldn't repurchase!)
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Relief Sunscreen: Rice + Probiotics - sunscreen - triggered my pustular acne but was incredibly lightweight, super sad it didn't work out for me :(
[HARUHARU WONDER] Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner For Sensitive Skin - toner - i just didn't like this, it didn't do anything for me and caused my skin to itch.
[AXIS-Y] Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack - mask - i used all of this up and came to the conclusion it just didn't do much for me and was also incredibly difficult to wash off.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Serum: Propolis + Niacinamide - serum - now, i genuinely loved this but it only gave me a glow and was very small, ran out too quickly! much better products that do the same job with more product and more cheap!
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Deep Serum: Rice + Arbutin - serum - this triggered my pustular acne so bad that i threw it away almost immediately, nuh-uh!
[MIXSOON] Bean Essence - serum - this isn't bad per se, but i feel like it's a very overhyped product and doesn't do much other than boost hydration, i use it but i wouldn't buy it again
[NUMBUZIN] NO.3 Skin Softening Serum - serum - i have such mixed opinions on this one because it really does help with texture but not if you keep using it? so i'm not sure if i'd repurchase.
[NUMBUZIN] NO.5 Goodbye Blemish Serum - serum - feels heavy, doesn't do shit other than trigger my acne and make my skin itch
[SOMEBYMI] 0.1% Retinol - serum - definitely a great beginner-friendly retinol but far too light for me and my acne-infested skin :(
MORNING ROUTINE:
cleanser (green plum refreshing cleanser from Beauty of Joseon
toner (i'll switch between the ANUA Heartleaf one and the Dr, Klairs Supple one)
serum (i'll tend to use a soothing serum such as the SKIN1004 centella asiatica one or a vitamin C serum)
moisturiser (dynasty cream or vitamin-tree water gel)
sunscreen
NIGHT ROUTINE:
double cleanse (IUNIK cleansing oil + BoJ green plum refreshing cleanser)
mask (either honey or mugwort mask, leave for twenty minutes)
toner pad (leave on for five minutes minimum)
toner (usually an exfoliating toner at night-time or a hydrating toner)
serum (tend to opt for niacinamide + retinol at night)
moisturiser (usually the vitamin e mask OR dynasty cream)
spot treatment (COSRX Blemish Cream)
MAKE-UP SKIN PREP ROUTINE:
(this is what i did on the day of prom as well!)
toner pad (leave these on for ten minutes and rub around face, this helps hydrate the skin; i use the numbuzin ones)
niacinamide (helps tighten pore appearance and just helps in every single way)
soothing serum (centella asiatica to overall help the skin!)
moisturiser!
/ i hope this helps!

Skincare Acids: A Guide to Healthy Skin
In the world of skincare, various acids play a pivotal role in promoting healthier and more radiant skin. These acids are used in products like serums, cleansers, and exfoliants. Let's explore a few of the most popular ones:
1. Hyaluronic Acid (HA):
Known for its powerful hydrating properties, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It helps the skin retain moisture, leaving it plump and supple.
2. Glycolic Acid:
A type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), glycolic acid is excellent for exfoliating the skin. It removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and can improve the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation.
3. Salicylic Acid:
This beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is effective for treating acne and oily skin. It penetrates pores, exfoliates the inside of the follicles, and helps reduce inflammation.
4. Lactic Acid:
Another AHA, lactic acid is gentler than glycolic acid. It provides mild exfoliation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve texture and hydration.
5. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid):
Although not a traditional acid, vitamin C is essential for brightening the skin, reducing hyperpigmentation, and protecting against free radicals. It promotes collagen production.
6. Retinoic Acid (Retin-A):
A derivative of vitamin A, retinoic acid is known for its anti-aging properties. It can improve fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture. It may cause some initial irritation.
7. Azelaic Acid:
Effective for treating rosacea and acne, azelaic acid has anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. It can help reduce redness and hyperpigmentation.
8. Kojic Acid:
Often used in products designed to lighten skin, kojic acid can help fade dark spots and even out skin tone. It's a milder alternative to hydroquinone.
9. Ferulic Acid:
Often combined with vitamin C and vitamin E, ferulic acid has antioxidant properties that enhance the stability and effectiveness of other ingredients.
10. Mandelic Acid:
A gentler AHA, mandelic acid is suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and help with acne.
When incorporating acids into your skincare routine, it's essential to start slowly, use sunscreen daily, and consider your skin type and concerns. Consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional can help you choose the right acids for your specific needs and ensure a safe and effective regimen. Remember that individual reactions may vary, so patch testing is a good practice when trying new products.

Skincare for Every Age: How to Care for Your Skin in Your 20s, 30s, 40s, and Beyond!
Skincare is an essential part of our lives, but your skin needs will depend on age. As you move through different stages of age, adapting your routine helps maintain a glowing, healthy complexion. Here’s a guide to tailoring your skin care routine to suit your skin’s changing demands through your 20s, 30s,40s and beyond.
Skincare in Your 20s: Building Healthy Habits
Your 20s are all about prevention and maintaining your youthful, resilient skin. While your skin is at its peak, establishing good habits now will help you in future.
Cleanse Twice Daily: Gentle cleansing is essential in your 20s to remove makeup, dirt and environmental pollutants. Choose a mild, non-stripping cleanser to keep your skin clean without disrupting its natural oils.
Hydration is Key: while your skin is still young, it benefits from light, water-based hydration. Use toner to hydrate your skin after cleansing to lock moisture.
Prevention with Antioxidants: Start using antioxidant-rich products, such as Vitamin C, to protect your skin from environment stressors and promote a glowing complexion.
Sunscreen: This is the most crucial step to protect your skin from premature aging. Apply sunscreen every day, even when on cloudy days.
Skincare in Your 30s: Repair and Protect
In your 30s, the first sign of aging may start to appear as your skin begins to lose some of its elasticity. Now is the time to focus on maintaining your skin’s appearance while repairing early damage.
Incorporate Retinol: Retinol helps stimulate collagen production and smooth fine lines. Start slow to avoid irritation, using it a few times a week in your nighttime routine.
Strengthen with Antioxidants: Continue to use antioxidants like Vitamin C, which also help reduce dark spots and even skin tone.
Give Attention to Eyes and Lips: The skin around your eyes and lips is thinner and more prone to aging. Add a lightweight eye cream to target fine lines and puffiness.
Boost Hydration with Serum: Skin begins to produce less oil, leading to dryness. Hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid can help to give moisture and prevent dehydration.
Skincare in Your 40s: Prioritize Firmness and Elasticity
In your 40s, collagen and elastin production decreases significantly, leading to sagging skin and deeper wrinkles. Hydration and firming are the main focus in this decade.
Exfoliate Regularly: Exfoliating a few times a week helps to promote cells and keeps your skin smooth. Choose exfoliants like glycolic acid or lactic acid for gentle yet effective treatment.
Continue Using Retinol: Retinol remains a powerful anti-aging skin care ingredient in your 40s. If your skin tolerates it, you can use it more frequently to support collagen production.
Choose Richer Moisturizers: Your skin will benefit from heavier moisturizers that offer long-lasting hydration and support the skin barrier. Look for creams with nourishing ingredients like ceramides.
Use Peptides for Firming: Peptides can help rebuild skin strength by stimulating collagen, which improves firmness and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Skincare in 50s and Beyond: Repair and Nourish
As you pass your 50s, hormonal changes can cause your skin to become thinner, drier, and more fragile. At this stage, your skin should be focused on nourishing and repairing your skin.
Boost Hydration: Moisturizing becomes the most critical aspect of your routine. Choose rich, emollient creams and consider adding oils to seal in moisture.
Barrier Protection: Focus on products that strengthen the skin barrier, as it becomes more prone to moisture loss and irritation. Ingredients like fatty acids and cholesterol are best for restoring the barrier function.
Focus on Gentle Products: As your skin becomes more sensitive, it’s essential to use gentle, soothing products. Avoid harsh scrubs or overly aggressive treatments, as they can cause irritation.
Brightening treatment: Dark spots and hyperpigmentation may become more noticeable due to years of sun exposure. Look for treatments that brighten the complexion and even skin tones, such as niacinamide or licorice root extract.
Conclusion
Skincare needs evolve with age, and adjusting your routine ensures your skin remains healthy skin at every stage of life. In your 20s, focus on establishing good habits and prevention. In your 30s, repair and protect against early signs of aging. Your 40s are about boosting hydration and elasticity, while your 50s and beyond require intense nourishment and gentle care. With consistency and the right approach, you can maintain your skin’s vitality for years to come.
Tips:
20s: Cleanse and prevent damage with antioxidants and sunscreen. 30s: Hydrate deeply and start using retinol. 40s: Focus on firming, hydration, and regular exfoliation. 50s: Repair with nourishing creams and gentle care.
Remember, a Skin Brightening Vitamin C+E Face wash can be your go-to at every stage, offering a gentle cleanse that supports the health and glow of your skin.

hello beloved (although relatively new) moot!! I cannot tell u much about the plant itself but I love all of its uses so I’m gonna list some:
-cleaning: lemons are good for stain removal, and you can toss an unwanted lemon peel into your garbage disposal to make it smell really nice!
-skincare: lemons help fade dark spots and reduce oil, so they’re great for DIY skincare in a pinch!
-they’re also my favorite agua fresca ingredient, a little spritz of lemon juice to cold water is the most refreshing thing ever
-lemon chicken. lemon chicken on the grill. my dad was really good at this.
-don’t even get me STARTED on lemon tea I love that shit
lemons also have a CRAZY amount of vitamin C in them, just one has you covered for more than half of what you need in a day <3

안녕하세요 cutie patooties! Today I’m going to go over my hand care routine, both daily and weekly ^-^ hand care is so important and although you don’t necessarily need to do these things, I love doing it to keep my hands so soft and youthful <3
Let’s give these precious little paws the love and care they deserve with a super kawaii hand care routine! Here’s how to pamper your hands and keep them irresistibly soft and charming every day! 🎀✨
Morning Hand care routine ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡
Exfoliate and cleanse ✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩
Exfoliation is a vital step in your morning routine to keep your hands looking and feeling silky smooth. I usually use my hello kitty scrub cause it’s hydrating too <3
Serum ✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩
Serums can be a game-changer in maintaining youthful and radiant hands. Look for a serum specifically formulated for hands, packed with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or vitamin C to boost hydration and combat signs of aging.
After Cleansing: Once your hands are cleansed and exfoliated, take a small amount of your preferred kawaii hand serum onto your fingertips. Dot the serum onto the back of one hand, then gently massage it into both hands using upward motions, focusing on areas that may show signs of aging or dryness.
Hand Cream ✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩
Using a nourishing hand cream in your morning routine is essential for maintaining soft, hydrated, and youthful-looking hands throughout the day. Look for a hand cream enriched with hydrating ingredients like shea butter, glycerin, or almond oil for maximum moisture.
SPF ✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩
Don’t forget to extend your sunscreen application to your hands! UV rays can cause premature aging, dark spots, and skin damage, making it crucial to apply a dedicated hand-specific SPF.
Hand care tips <3
Regular Hydration: Keep your hands hydrated throughout the day by applying hand cream frequently, especially after washing your hands, to prevent dryness.
Gentle Cleansing: Use mild, moisturizing hand washes or cleansers to cleanse your hands without stripping away natural oils.
Sun Protection: Apply a hand-specific SPF daily to shield your hands from harmful UV rays and prevent premature aging and sun damage.

Step-by-Step Guide to Using Face Serum for Wrinkles
In recent years, the term “facial serum” has become a major part of skincare routines, and for good reason. If you’re looking to elevate your skincare game beyond the basics of cleansing and moisturizing, a facial serum designed for wrinkles could be the secret weapon you need. These potent formulas pack a punch, delivering concentrated ingredients that target specific skin concerns like fine lines, dullness, and uneven texture.
But how exactly do you use a face serum for wrinkles? Let’s dive into the step-by-step process to make sure you’re getting the most out of your serum for that smooth, radiant skin.
What is a Face Serum?
A face serum is a lightweight, fast-absorbing liquid packed with active ingredients like vitamins, antioxidants, and acids. Unlike thicker moisturizers that sit on top of the skin, serums are designed to penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver targeted results. Dr. Tsippora Shainhouse, a board-certified dermatologist, explains: "Serums contain higher concentrations of active ingredients that address specific skin issues like wrinkles, dark spots, and dryness."
So, whether you’re dealing with fine lines or more prominent wrinkles, a face serum can help you achieve a brighter, smoother, and more youthful complexion.
Why Use a Face Serum for Wrinkles?
The beauty of a face serum lies in its ability to address multiple skin concerns with just a few drops. Here’s why incorporating a serum into your skincare routine can help combat wrinkles:
Quick Absorption: Serums are lightweight and absorb quickly, so they get to work fast without leaving your skin feeling greasy or sticky.
Powerful Ingredients: With potent antioxidants, peptides, and vitamins, serums help stimulate collagen production and fight off free radicals that contribute to premature aging.
Hydration and Firmness: Ingredients like hyaluronic acid plump the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while boosting hydration.
Brightening Effects: Many serums contain vitamin C, which can help fade age spots and even out your skin tone.
How to Apply Face Serum for Wrinkles: A Step-by-Step Guide
Ready to maximize the benefits of your serum? Here’s the best way to apply it for glowing, wrinkle free skin.
Step 1: Cleanse Your Face
Start with a clean slate! Before applying any serum, make sure your skin is properly cleansed. This helps to remove dirt, oil, and makeup, ensuring the serum’s active ingredients penetrate deeply into your skin.
How to use: Cleanse your face morning and night using a gentle cleanser. Massage it into your skin in circular motions and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Step 2: Apply a Toner
Don’t skip the toner! Using a toner preps your skin by balancing its pH levels and removing any lingering impurities. This step also helps your serum absorb more effectively.
How to use: Soak a cotton pad with toner and gently sweep it across your face. Pay special attention to areas prone to clogged pores, like your T-zone. Allow it to dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 3: Apply the Serum
Here comes the hero of your skincare routine—the serum. Serums are highly concentrated, so a small amount is all you need to target wrinkles and fine lines.
How to use: Dispense 2-3 drops of serum onto your fingertips. Gently pat (don’t rub) the serum into your skin, focusing on areas that need extra attention, such as your forehead, around the eyes, and your smile lines. You can also apply the serum to your neck and chest for an overall youthful glow. Let the serum absorb completely before moving on to the next step.
Step 4: Let the Serum Absorb
Patience is key here! Since serums are designed to penetrate deeply into the skin, give it a minute or two to fully absorb before applying anything else.
How to use: Avoid layering too much product too quickly. Give your serum a chance to settle into your skin for maximum effectiveness. If it feels sticky, you may have applied too much.
Step 5: Lock it in with Moisturizer
Once your serum has fully absorbed, it’s time to seal in all that goodness with a moisturizer. Moisturizers help hydrate and protect the skin, creating a barrier that locks in the serum’s active ingredients.
How to use: Apply a generous amount of moisturizer to your face and neck. Gently massage it into your skin using upward motions. This final step helps lock in hydration and keeps your skin feeling soft and supple.
Bonus Tip: Don’t Forget Sunscreen!
If you’re applying your serum in the morning, be sure to finish your routine with sunscreen. Sun damage is one of the leading causes of premature aging, and protecting your skin from harmful UV rays is essential for maintaining youthful, wrinkle-free skin.
How to use: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Reapply throughout the day as needed.
Conclusion
Using a face serum for wrinkles is one of the best ways to target signs of aging and achieve smoother, more radiant skin. By following this step-by-step guide, you’ll be well on your way to maximizing the benefits of your serum. With consistent use, you’ll notice an improvement in your skin’s texture, hydration, and overall glow. So go ahead—get glowing!

☆ what to carry in your makeup bag - skincare edition ☆
A good skincare routine should be simple, consistent, and tailored to their specific skin type and concerns. It's essential to prioritize gentle and hydrating products while avoiding harsh ingredients. Here's a basic daily skincare routine to follow:
Morning:
Cleansing - use a mild, gentle cleanser suited for your skin type. Look for one that removes dirt, oil, and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Cerave's cleansers are a great option designed for different types of skins.
Toning - apply an alcohol-free toner to help balance the skin's pH levels and prepare it for the next steps of your routine. Toners can also provide light hydration and soothe the skin. Lush's toners are my favorite.
Vitamin C Serum - apply a Vitamin C serum to help brighten the skin, fade dark spots, and protect it from environmental damage. Allow the serum to absorb fully before moving to the next step.
Eye Cream - gently dab on an eye cream to address any under-eye puffiness or dark circles. Look for an eye cream with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or peptides. Mine is from L'oreal.
Moisturizing - choose a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Moisturizing is crucial for keeping the skin hydrated and maintaining a healthy skin barrier.
Sunscreen - apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days. This protects the skin from harmful UV rays and helps prevent premature aging and sun damage. Isdin's sunscreen is all over Tiktok because of how great it is.
Everning:
Makeup Removal - before starting your evening routine, make sure to remove all makeup thoroughly using a gentle makeup remover or cleansing oil. I love using micellar water from Garnier, but there are so many options out there.
Double Cleansing - follow up with a double cleanse. First, use an oil-based cleanser to remove any remaining sunscreen and makeup. Then, use your regular cleanser to cleanse the skin thoroughly.
Toning - repeat the toning step from your morning routine to prep your skin for the next products.
Serum - if you have specific skin concerns like acne or hyperpigmentation, apply a targeted treatment product, such as benzoyl peroxide or retinol. Use these treatments as directed and be cautious not to overuse them. I love to use The Ordinary products, especially the retinol and niacinamide ones.
Eye Cream - apply your eye cream once again to provide extra moisture and nourishment to the delicate skin around the eyes.
Moisturizer - apply a slightly richer or more nourishing moisturizer in the evening to help your skin recover and replenish overnight.
Weekly Treatments
Exfoliation - exfoliate your skin using a mild exfoliant with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs). Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and promote a smoother complexion
Masking - use a face mask that addresses your skin's specific needs, such as hydrating, purifying, or calming masks.

Home Remedies for Skin Sunspots: Secret Natural Solutions Revealed
Sunspots are flat brown patches that appear on parts of skin exposed to the sun over time. They are sometimes referred to as age spots or solar lentigines.
These are frequent places that many people find unpleasant from a cosmetic standpoint, especially as they become older.
At least there are a lot of DIY treatments that can help sunspots look less noticeable and balance out skin tone.
Home Remedies for Skin Sunspots
Understand Sunspots
Long exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can cause sunspots, a frequent skin problem that is caused by an increase in melanin production in the skin.
The pigment called melanin, which gives our skin its color, can result in the formation of dark spots when it is produced in excess.
Sunspots usually develop on the face, hands, shoulders, and arms areas of the body that are exposed to the sun the most.
Natural Ingredients to Treat Sunspots
Sunspots can be effectively reduced without the use of harsh chemicals by using natural components.
The following are a few of the top natural remedies,
1. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice, which is high in vitamin C, gradually lightens sunspots by acting as a natural bleaching agent.
Lemon juice's citric acid helps exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells and encouraging the development of new, lighter skin.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is well-known for its healing and calming qualities, which may help in improving skin health and lightening sunspots.
Compounds found in aloe vera can help in promoting skin renewal and reduce pigmentation.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
Because of its acetic acid content, apple cider vinegar is a well-liked treatment for skin tone evenness and sunspot removal.
Also having astringent qualities, apple cider vinegar helps to tighten and cleanse the skin.
4. Green Tea Extract
Antioxidants found in green tea extract can diminish sunspots and decrease the synthesis of melanin.
Green tea's anti-inflammatory qualities may also help in soothing and shielding the skin from more harm.
5. Turmeric
Curcumin, the main component of turmeric, has strong anti-inflammatory and skin-lightening effects.
Skin tone can be evened out and sunspots can be less noticeable with the use of turmeric.
6. Vitamin E
Strong antioxidant vitamin E can help heal damaged skin and lessen the visibility of sunspots.
It is a fantastic treatment for sun-damaged skin since it encourages skin regeneration and healing.
