#villains and their villainy challenge for villains day

Note
Hello! I was wondering if it was Okay to ask for some tips on how to write a black horror antagonist respectfully? I’m a horror author and I realized that my horror villains are not very diverse, but I’m afraid of falling into stereotypes.
Things to consider when making a Black Horror Antagonist:
-Who is the protagonist in relation to this Black antagonist? Is it a White kid? A group of people with fairer skin compared to the Black antagonist? If you aim to make diverse stories, you can't just make the antagonists poc and call it a day. Society already use the narrative that Black ppl are out to terrorize White neighborhoods with malicious intent, to justify killing us. Birth of a Nation glorified the Klan so well(cinema-wise) it literally brought back the Klan. We also have this ongoing rise of anti-Haitian crimes(AntiBlackness overall) because some White woman wanted to make a meme of Haitians eating cats
-If they are a magical antagonist, is the magic they used based on Black or Brown cultures that are already demonized enough? The recent rise of anti-haitian propaganda does stem from the stereotype that Haitians practice cannibalism for their "satanic" ritualsm. Which the word, "cannibal" was a slur that refers to islanders apparently. Anyways you can have your magical Black antagonist, but if they start writing in vodun symbols and wear feather headdresses, reconsider that it's just "if it's a vague Black/Brown religion it's automatically scary"
-What is their personality like? Are they cunning and creative and clever? Or are they a simple-minded beast? In The Promised Neverland we see two caretakers(they are antagonists): Isabella and Krone. Isabella is a fair-skinned woman who is presented as intelligent and cunning with her villainy. Whereas Krone's villainy depicts her as a monstrous beast. We already have enough Black antagonists that are essentially the main villain's attack dog, with very little focus on their motivations. If you wanted to write about a monster/beast that has no intelligence you could always write that instead. But if you have a Black human being, well humans can be written in so many different ways, do use that opportunity
-Consider whether or not your Black Horror antagonists are ableist narratives. Ableism is already a problem in horror stories already. But when it comes to Black neurodivergent/disabled people, you have to be extra careful with that. Sonya Massey's disability (and aave) made those cops murder her because at the end of the day, she's a Black woman they didn't bother to hear out, and needed an excuse to shoot her. What you write as a "scary" trait for your Black antagonist, could support ableist narratives that disabilities/neurodivergency are inherently dangerous
-Colorism can be an issue here as well. Even if you do have a Black protagonist, are they someone who is lighter than the villain? Dark=/=Inherently Bad, and Light=/=Inherently Good
-Horror is all about exploring a fear (societal or individual). So this is when you have to ask yourself, what do you fear? What do you think your readers' fears are when they read about this Black villain character? You can't control your readers' perception, sure, but fiction doesn't exist in a vacuum. It can challenge societal expectations or support them. So with all the points I listed down above and whatever points I didn't say, this could all attribute to the "horrors" or the "thing you need to fear" in the story. Do your readers find the Black antagonist scary because they are a well written antagonist with proper motivations? Or are they conditioned to see Black people as scary?
-In terms of how these characters speak or their motivations, that I have to advise getting several Black beta readers(that aren't just your friends) to have review your work. If your character is a disabled Black person, get a disabled Black reader. If they are Jamaican character, get a Jamaican reader. Hell, ask these readers if they even find your Black villain intimidating or compelling.
All in all, if you write about a Black character you really need to write them as you do for your White characters. The problem I think most nonblack writers have with this advice though is that they read that as "write Black characters as White(the default)". That won't work. You always have to consider a Black character's Blackness and how that interacts with the world you created
@/writingwithcolor and @/creatingblackcharacters would probably have more input
TLDR: Make the final girl a darkskinned Black woman

Of Heroism and Heart
Glorfindel x reader
A/N: I've never been one for writing the whole 'modern–day reader falling into Middle Earth stories', I always preferred to read them. So, I'm attempting my hand at this for the first time. It is a bit different from what is typically written. So, here's your Glorfi fic that won the poll.
Warnings: none, tooth-rotting fluff, Glorfindel has learned how to use his charisma.
Words: 1k
Synopsis: Talks of heroism and villainy become the new philosophical method of displaying one's charm.
“There’s a saying about villains and heroes where I’m from,” you began, your voice thoughtful and reflective. “It goes something like this: ‘A hero would sacrifice you to save the world, but a villain would sacrifice the world to save you.’”
Swinging gently in the breeze, swaying side to side in your hammock, your elven Lord sat across from you, engrossed in the exchange of tales and sayings from your world. Each day seemed to bring a new layer of fascination as he delved into the intricacies of human culture and thought. He had never expected your arrival to kindle such curiosity and interest in his heart. Mortals were extraordinary beings, but your presence had illuminated new facets of their nature that he had yet to explore.
His gaze followed the motion of the potted celandines hanging above, his lips pursed in contemplation as your words settled into his mind. “Care to elaborate?” he inquired, his curiosity genuine.
Shouldering a casual shrug, accompanied by a half–formed smirk, you stretched languidly in the hammock, nestling further into its embrace. You playfully placed your small feet beside his torso. “It’s just one of those sayings people come up with, you know? Derived from observations about heroes and villains,” your tone conveyed a sense of ease, as if you were simply relaying common wisdom passed down to you. “Heroes are driven to save the world, which in turn saves their loved ones. However, sometimes, their loved ones end up perishing in the process of saving the world. On the other hand, villains prioritize protecting their loved ones before pursuing their goal, even if that means destroying the world.”
His brow furrowed as he mulled over your explanation, his expression a canvas of deep contemplation. With each piece of your interpretation, it was as if puzzle pieces were clicking into place within his mind, accompanied by mental light bulbs illuminating his understanding. His appearance resembled that of a bemused puppy, and you couldn’t help but toy with the idea of labelling him your “Golden Retriever,” a nickname he strangely seemed to embody.
“What specifically are you conveying here?” Glorfindel’s head tilted to the side, his gaze fixed on you with a tinge of displeasure. “Your words seem to imply that villains are superior to heroes, given their commitment to safeguarding their loved ones. I find myself in disagreement with that declaration.”
Laughter bubbled from your lips in response to his dissatisfaction, prompting you to sit upright and meet his gaze directly. “What it suggests is that when faced with a choice between saving the world or saving their beloved, a hero would typically choose the world, while a villain would opt for their loved one,” you clarified. “Heroes tend to be focused on overarching morality and the greater good, whereas villains are often more concerned with their personal connections. It’s a play on perspectives—what’s considered right or wrong isn’t always straightforward.”
Glorfindel blinked rapidly, his gaze unwavering as he sat upright to face you directly. His unruly golden locks, cascading like sun–kissed tendrils, framed his countenance like an ethereal halo. A soft blush warmed your cheeks despite the intellectual discourse at hand. It was easy to lose yourself in these conversations, and at times, it almost felt like he possessed an uncanny awareness of his own effect on you.
“I beg to differ,” he asserted firmly, a challenge evident in his voice. “I am regarded as a hero by many for my accomplishments, and I would never permit harm to befall either the world or my beloved. I would strive to safeguard both.”
Raising an eyebrow, you leaned in, your foreheads nearly touching as you met his steadfast gaze. “And how, might I ask, do you intend to accomplish such a feat, renowned Lord Balrog Slayer?”
Drawing even closer, his forehead pressed gently against yours, and he whispered with an air of triumph, “I would ensure your safety...for you are my world. Without you, the world would lose its meaning; you are the bane of my essence, my reason for existence, the very breath I inhale. There can be no world without you at my side, just as there can be no you without the world. As a hero, I would save my world, meleth–nîn. I cherish you deeply.”
A lump formed in your throat, a mixture of emotions leaving you momentarily speechless. The rising heat in your cheeks contrasted with the tears that shimmered in the corners of your eyes. The rush of emotions and the depth of his words left you with a heartwarming smile. Glorfindel’s eloquence had the power to move your soul and reshape your worldview. He effortlessly wove his sentiments into words that stirred your heart, offering you a love and life you had previously only encountered in fairytales. The dream of falling in love with Prince Charming had become a vivid reality ever since you had stumbled into Middle–earth and into his arms.
In the stillness that followed, he took advantage of the moment, his fingers gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. He placed soft kisses on your forehead and cheeks before hesitating, his lips hovering near yours. The anticipation hung in the air, drawing out the moment until his lips finally met yours in a fleeting, yet intense, kiss.
Pulling away, his lashes brushed against your skin as his lips traced playful patterns along your cheeks. “You’re quite the romantic, you know?” you giggled.
“If it means being right, then I shall embrace the role of the romantic for you, my beloved,” he murmured, a warmth of affection evident in his smile.
“Just ensure you tie your hair before rushing to save me, I don’t need another hair–pulling accident in this day and age.”

Hi! I’m reading through your master list and I saw that you asked for people to let you know if it was convenient, and it is! My only recommendation would be to add little descriptions under the links to tell us about what the story/oneshot/prompt is about so when scrolling through we know what we’re clicking on. Hope that helps! :]
Hi!
First of all, thank you for reaching out. I finally got my hands on doing this rec.
So, what do we think? I can make this the main masterlist or leave a link to it like a sort of extention (since it's so long). Everyone's opinion is welcomed. Thank you~

-
“Sorry I’m late.” Dabi. He’s picked the damn lock again.
“Oh my god, do you seriously not know how to knock?” Hawks calls back, practically skipping into the living room.
“Don’t wanna stand around outside your door like a creep, thanks,” deadpans the villain. Hawks rolls his eyes.
“You look like more of a creep picking the lock, but sure. Come here.”
He takes Dabi by the hand and leads him toward the couch. His fingers are warm, like usual. God, has Hawks missed that. Between hero work, villainy, and conflicting schedules they’d barely had time to see each other and, man, was it miserable. It takes everything in him not to bowl Dabi over with an absolutely suffocating embrace - it’d probably kill the man.
Dabi raises his eyebrows. “You cleaned?”
Hawks had expected Dabi to notice, but not point it out, so he’s a little caught off guard by the halfway-question. “Oh, yeah,” he says, a fraction sheepishly, “Is it too much?”
“Mm, no, looks good,” Dabi smirks, “Makes a nice change from all the crap you’ve usually got lying around.” Hawks hits him playfully and he laughs, clear and smooth, not at all like the peals brimming with malice he’d usually hear from Dabi.
“Uuugh, I hate you, leave me alone,” he complains. When Dabi’s eyebrows raise again, Hawks pulls a face and adds, “I’m a busy man! I don’t have time to clean!”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. I’m flattered.”
He sits Dabi down on the couch, maybe a little too eagerly, and comes down to straddle the taller man’s lap.
“You’re so pretty,” he whispers, before pressing his lips to Dabi’s with an urgency that only comes from being deprived of seeing one’s lover for far too long. Dabi loosens underneath Hawks and they quickly fall into a long practised pattern, all pretences dropped for this moment of touch-starved tenderness. Nothing exists outside of this room, everything is so warm, and Hawks melts even more when he feels Dabi smile against his lips.
“Seems like someone missed me,” murmurs the villain, voice sleek and low. The response is simply a hand laced through the dyed-black hair at the back of Dabi’s head, taking hold of him and pulling him closer with nothing short of absolute need. In turn, Dabi’s hands find the small of Hawks’ back, and heat begins to pool in his stomach as they slowly threaten to sneak closer to the bases of his wings. And his lips are warm, so warm, and he always seems to know exactly what to do with them to make Hawks collapse like putty in his hands. For a crazed villain who incinerates shit for fun, Dabi’s a fucking good kisser.
…And a tease, apparently! Hawks knows that Dabi knows how badly he wants this, and how long he’s been waiting - yet he still seems to be taking his sweet time. He can feel the villain absently tracing circles into his back, with the same pace as his mouth is working against Hawks’. The little shit. He knows exactly what he’s doing; well, two can play at that game. Hawks takes it as a challenge, takes Dabi’s scarred face between his hands, and takes control. He presses closer, kissing the man with some previously unseen vigour, practically forcing him to match the increased pace. A little wave of triumph passes through Hawks as he hears Dabi’s breath catch in the back of his throat, nearly silent, but they’re close enough that nothing can really go unheard. Feeling like he’s succeeded, Hawks goes to indulge further, perhaps elicit some more reactions like that, when he feels Dabi’s hand leave his back. Before he can register it properly, the hand is upon his chest, pushing with some insistence. Hawks pulls away, panicked.
“Oh, shit, fuck, sorry, was that too much?”
The arm Dabi has outstretched towards Hawks’ chest slackens slightly, as do his facial features. He doesn’t reply, but rather his lips part and his eyes glaze over, forming an expression so laced with vulnerability that Hawks is almost taken aback - though, he can’t dwell on the display for long, as he’s quickly instead watching Dabi bring his other hand, curled tightly into a fist, up to his own face and press it most firmly to the underside of his nose. His chest rises once with an inhale not unlike before, only this time a little louder and deeper, and he ducks forward slightly with two slightly-awkwardly stifled sneezes.
“hhahh-! ..hh’nGXT! kxNTsh! Ugh, fuck.”
“Oh!” Hawks says, a little surprised, “Bless you.” A part of him wants to chide the villain for holding it in like that, but he refrains, knowing full well he himself would stifle exactly the same.
Dabi hums in lieu of a thanks, and Hawks returns his hand to his boyfriend’s face and leans back in.
“Can I go back to kissing you now?” he murmurs.
Dabi rolls his eyes but drapes his arms lazily over Hawks’ shoulders, an invitation, yes, you can go back to kissing me now. Their lips interlock once again, picking up where they left off, with Hawks feeling absolutely on top of the world from the fact that he’s doing the work here, he’s the one kissing Dabi, not the other way around. He’s never been opposed to Dabi taking control, in fact he loves being ravaged by the man, but sue him, sometimes it feels good to be the one doing the ravaging. However, his elation at this seems to be poorly concealed, or perhaps Dabi just wants to knock him down a peg, because Hawks feels teeth closing on his bottom lip. Not so hard that it hurts, but just enough to tease an audible gasp from him as he tenses up on Dabi’s lap. He’s fairly certain he’s never needed someone all over him so badly until this point. Clearly it shows, too, since Dabi insists on being such a menace and playing the long game with him. Well, Hawks decides that’s not going to fly; he presses in closer, almost entirely closing the gap between them and slides his other hand behind Dabi’s head, not-so-subtly tugging him closer and kissing him harder, once more regaining the upper hand. He takes to gently thumbing back and forth against the base of Dabi’s neck, to which the man lets out, involuntarily, a little noise of satisfaction, finally accepting submission. Hawks is almost tempted to bite Dabi back, but maybe that’d be pushing his luck. Besides, this side of Dabi - soft, pliant, accepting - is one he rarely sees, and he’s kind of into it. It’s a good look on the villain.
Before long, however, their rhythm is broken once again. One of the arms laying around Hawks’ neck begins to move, and the hand meets his shoulder. Hawks has a sneaking feeling he knows what’s coming (for the second time), as Dabi’s hand pushes against his shoulder - slowly, though, as if he’s really trying to prolong the inevitable. It really doesn’t seem like he wants to pull away, so Hawks does it for him, gently separates their faces, strangely endeared by Dabi’s reluctance - and it seems he did so at exactly the right moment. Being so close to him, Hawks can easily see the way his face immediately crumples, eyes flickering shut and lips parting with an inhale that sounded as though it had been waiting to be drawn for… a while. In a split second, he’s tugging the sleeve of his hoodie over his hand with some urgency, and Hawks catches the flare of his nostrils right before he pinches his nose, clamping the thick black fabric over the bottom half of his face. There’s hardly six inches between the two of them, so Dabi twists awkwardly to the side with a set of cruelly stifled sneezes.
“hh’GKTtch! ‘KXXSHh! Ugh, god– h-hahH’KGXt’sh!”
They sound harsher this time around, harder to stifle, probably.
“Bless,” says Hawks, “You okay?”
“Mm… yeah, just something really… stings,” Dabi replies. He’s knuckling the side of his nose with some force.
“You’re, uh, not getting sick are you?” Hawks asks, unable to conceal the tinge of nervousness that seeps into his tone. As much as he loves the man, he’s got some long days on patrol coming up soon, and a cold from Dabi would severely compromise him.
Dabi raises an eyebrow. “I’m not that much of an asshole, Kei.”
“Right-! Yeah, no, of course not. Sorry, I didn’t really think there.” Hawks grimaces internally at himself, and Dabi shakes his head.
“Ugh, Jesus, hold on–” He turns away again, breath wavering, “hehh’nGXKt!” A shaky exhale escapes from him as he releases his nose.
“So, what’s got you all worked up, then?” asks Hawks, teasing.
Dabi half-sighs, half-groans, and replies, “Don’t know, but I wish it would fucking stop.” As if for emphasis, the sentence is punctuated with an irritated-sounding sniffle.
“Well, it probably would if you stopped stifling like that,” Hawks says pointedly. That earns him a hazy blue-eyed glare… that doesn’t last long, since Dabi’s squinting again, and his mouth curls up into the beginnings of something akin to a snarl. Hawks smirks as he ducks into the crook of his sweater-clad elbow to muffle yet another sneeze.
“hehH’DSHHh’uh! What the fuck?”
At least he didn’t stifle it.
Hawks hums. “Bless you.” He sends a feather to retrieve a box of tissues, then decides the villain probably also needs some space, so he manoeuvres himself gracelessly off Dabi’s lap to sit beside him on the couch.
“Very elegant,” Dabi remarks.
“Ugh, shut up,” he replies, elbowing Dabi in the ribs. The laugh this elicits almost straight away rises into a staggered gasp, that itself turns into a pair of hastily covered sneezes.
“hhahH’KXXTshuh! hh’huuhh’DZSHHhue!”
“Jeez, bless you.”
Dabi sniffles thickly. “Yeah.”
Hawks’ feather zips back into the room and drops a box of tissues into Dabi’s lap - the thicker, softer ones that the hero always insists on buying despite them being double the price of regular ones.
“Sounds like they’re getting stronger,” Hawks observes, a note of concern in his tone, but then adds, more teasingly, “Not allergic to me, are you?”
Dabi scoffs and tugs a couple of tissues from the box. “I wish,” he says, scrubbing at his nose. “Then I’d actually have an excuse to avoid your annoying ass.”
“Wow, okay, that was so uncalled for. Just say you hate me at that point.”
It’s Dabi’s turn to elbow Hawks back. He probably deserves it.
“Ow, bitch,” he says in mock offence.
“You’re the bitch,” comes the reply, from behind a handful of tissues (which are then promptly screwed up and tossed, flying in a neat arc, straight into the trash on the other side of the room).
“Whatever, bitch. Are you done sneezing yet? This couch isn’t as comfy as your thighs-”
“Ugh, shut up, you are so weird,” Dabi interjects in fond disgust.
“Oh my god, what if you’re allergic to my apartment being clean? Then I never have to clean ever again, hah!”
Dabi gives him a look. “You say that as a joke, but honestly, you migh-might be right…hh.. hehH’KXNTtsh’uh!”
Dabi’s expression falls midway through his sentence, brows drawing together and eyes narrowing as he gives into another sneeze, hastily half-stifled against the back of his hand.
“Seriously,” Hawks deadpans, eyebrows raised. That’s new, he thinks.
“Well, unless you’ve suddenly acquired a pet cat - which I doubt - then yeah, seriously,” says the villain flatly, though with a note of congestion starting to creep into his voice. “Last I checked, your place didn’t reek of fuckin’ –all of spring and then some.”
Hawks suddenly remembers the air freshener he’d used–the only one he had, some floral one found right at the back of a cupboard, unused for entirely too long. He hadn’t had a clue what clean apartments were supposed to smell of, so he’d sort of just… went ham with it. Definitely a mistake.
“Don’t slander my choice in scents,” he teases, “Are you sure it’s… that?”
“Nothing else changed ‘round here, has it?” Dabi pauses to give his nose a brief rub. “I’m here practically every week and I’ve been fine, so, you tell me.”
Hawks will never not poke the bear when he’s got the opportunity, so he says, “So this does mean I never have to clean the place ever again, right?”
Dabi’s mouth falls open as he feigns offence. He says, dramatically, “Wow. That’s all you have to say? When I could literally die right now in front of you? I’m.. hah- I’m-”
Hawks snickers. “Bless you,” he sing-songs prematurely, utterly pleased with himself. It’s almost cute, the attempted glare Dabi gives him through his glazed over expression. Nobody can look menacing in the slightest when they’re trying not to sneeze (and that’s a fact!).
“Sh-shut uhhhp..” replies Dabi, his voice quavering. He lifts a hand slowly, bringing it to hover weakly before his face. His breathing is unsteady and his eyes half-lidded, and the crease between his dark brows deepens.
“Okay, point proven, idiot,” Hawks says with a laugh, “Just sneeze, this is torture even for me.”
The hazy glare returns, and Hawks clocks it.
“Oh!” he laughs, giving Dabi a slightly bewildered smile. “Oh my god, I jinxed it. You deserve that ‘cause you’re mean to me.”
“I hahh-hate you-” Dabi responds breathily. He rubs at the side of his nose with two knuckles, pressing decently harder than is probably necessary. The bridge crinkles in irritation when the rubbing clearly has no effect. “Jesus, it won’t go away.”
“Mm, what a shame.”
There goes a third bleary glare from the villain. “I’d like to remind you wh-whose fault thhihhs.. was in the first place,” he says. Any malice intended to be behind his utterance is immediately negated by his breath catching and wavering through the words. Though, at a point, Hawks begins to feel a little… voyeuristic just watching Dabi struggle. Sure, he’s his boyfriend and all, and yeah, he’s definitely seen worse, but it’s easy to tell Dabi’s getting a little self-conscious about this… spectacle. He’s never been a fan of having things out of his control, especially not displays of vulnerability like this, and Hawks knows this, so why prolong it?
“Well, I guess there’s only one thing for it,” he says, taking matters into his own hands.
“Fuck off- what–” Dabi gets out, as Hawks takes his face between his hands and begins to press kisses softly down the bridge of his nose. Hawks doesn’t let him twist away from it, trying not to laugh to himself about how dumb this probably looks. At least one of them is having fun. He considers pulling away with a “Gonna sneeze yet?”, but refrains - he’d probably end up on fire. He does, however, pause for a moment when he reaches Dabi’s trio of silver nose studs, hovering. There’ve been feathery, wavering breaths coming from his boyfriend consistently but, nothing has come to fruition, so Hawks decides–those piercings have always been sensitive, a fact he’d discovered about Dabi rather early on (and maybe, possibly sometimes used to be a menace). He plants a final, delicate kiss right upon where the three studs lie, and finally lets Dabi pull away.
“Oh, oh, fuck– s-screw you–hh’ehH’IIDTSSHh’uh! ‘kXXTS’SHhue! …Christ, you’re such an ass.” The pair of sneezes that result are harsh to say the very least. And even after all that, he still tries stifling the second– unsurprising, but at that point is it even worth it?
“Sorry! I had to!” Hawks says, really trying to look like he isn’t laughing. It doesn’t work.
“You absolutely did not have to,” corrects Dabi.
“Okaaay, okay, sorry. It was funny though.”
“Yeah, for you, maybe,” Dabi mutters, shaking his head, “Oh, fuck’s sake, hold on–”
“I’ll wait till you’re done to say bless you, this time,” says Hawks with a fond snicker.
“Good plah-an–! hhuh’hHDSHH’SHuh! …Ugh, fuck.”
“Bless,” Hawks replies. He averts his eyes, a little sheepishly. Dabi pulls a face.
He asks, “What the fuck’s with the guilty face?” to which Hawks throws his head back with a groan and slides his hands across his face.
“I just wanted to do something nice,” he says, “You know, clean the place up a bit. Since it’s always kind of a massive mess.”
“Jesus, Kei, I don’t care about that,” says Dabi, breathing a laugh. “It’s you I’m here for, not your fuckin’ apartment. I can kiss you whether or not there’s crap on every surface.”
Hawks isn’t used to Dabi outright saying nice things, so his cheeks flush slightly hearing this. He’s unsure what to say. Thankfully, Dabi speaks again.
“Okay. Where didn’t you spray that shit?”
Hawks scoffs. “I sort of went crazy with it, uh… my bedroom? If that works?”
“Very forward,” Dabi replies, raising his eyebrows. “Almost like you wanted me in there.”
Hawks jabs him in the ribs but still smirks. “Yeah, maybe I did.”

Attempting Villainy
Kinktober Day 2: Substituted Role Reversal
Pairing: Victor x Female Reader
This is another fic I had started early on but just lost steam on and didn't finish until the last day of September. You and Victor have differing opinions and you set about trying to prove yourself right. NSFW so minors do not interact. WC approx 2054.
It was a beautiful day and one of Victor's rare days off from his duties as the Queen's aide and the two of you had just entered the dining room for breakfast. All eyes were on the both of you as Victor sat where you normally would and you stood at the head of the table. He was dressed in a simple pair of slacks a white shirt and deep blue tie while you had borrowed one of his shirts and his jacket wearing them over a split skirt.
“Good morning my cursed boys!”
Your best chipper voice was met with sighs and groans around the table, along with Alfons pinching the bridge of his nose and Jude folding up his paper.
“Soo, what's going on?”
Liam's voice was cheerful but it also had an edge to it.
“Our dear miss robin and I have made a bet of sorts and so we’ve exchanged roles for the next twenty-four hours.”
More groans.
“Are you sure you're up for that sort of challenge, little robin?”
William's voice was calm as he spoke but his smile looked almost evil.
“Of course I am! Now first things first, a magic trick!”
“Nope.”
“I'm out.”
“Jude, Harry!”
“I have to get to the theater.”
“I'd love to watch this unfold but I really do need to be getting to bed.”
The four of them vanished, faster than they ever had before, leaving you alone with Victor and William.
“Too bad little robin…”
“Why, my magic trick worked.”
The two men exchanged a quick glance and William raised an eyebrow.
“Would you care to explain?”
“My trick was to make everyone disappear, though I guess it didn't completely work since you didn't leave.”
William closed his eyes and Victor let out a joyful laugh.
“That was very creative, my love. I'm even more excited for the rest of the day now”
“Thank you, and I promise I won't disappoint you.”
William opened his eyes then and a devilish smile spread across his face as he came to his feet.
“I wish you luck little robin you're certainly going to need it, this is Victor you're dealing with after all.”
Before you could ask William exactly what he meant he was across the room and out the door. So you spent the day doing everything Victor would, you listened to a mission update, ordered supplies, went over the castle ledger. Victor really did a lot in a day but you pushed through it all without any issue, well until you had to hand out a new mission but even then Victor only offered his opinion and gentle reassurance leaving the final decision in your hands.
You were so proud of how you'd done and you were chatting away that night as you walked down the hallway with him not even noticing that your feet had carried you to his room out of habit. It was out of habit too that when Victor opened the door and you entered without hesitation moving towards the large windows without glancing back, had you though you would have seen his impish smile and lustful gaze.
“I'm really amazed that you can manage to get everything done in a day Victor. This isn't even everything you normally do!”
“Years of practice my dear.”
“Even still, and I already knew this but the fact you get Harry and Jude to ever listen to you just makes you even more amazing.”
You rolled your eyes and let out a frustrated sigh while Victor smiled at you while taking a seat on the edge of his bed.
“If only you had seen when I gave them their first missions you'd know how well that actually went.”
“Seriously?”
You moved to stand in front of Victor.
“They’ve always been very spirited boys, I actually found it surprising how well they behaved themselves.”
“Well then, I guess I proved that I've become a villain.”
“I think that's a little hasty of you.”
“Why? I spent all day doing everything you do and-”
“And you did very well but…”
You looked quizzically at Victor as he stood up and took the few steps so he was right in front of you then leaning in to whisper in your ear.
“I said twenty four hours, not the day and seeing as it isn't midnight yet…”
Victor pulled back from you and just as he did Williams words from earlier came back to you and you cursed internally. You knew he could see the realization dawning on you when you heard him chuckle, his voice now husky.
“Of course if you aren't up to it you can always-”
“No! I mean…I agreed to twenty four hours so I won't back down.”
You saw Victor's eyebrow raise slightly even as he was smiling smugly.
“Then show me how villainous you've really become.”
You could feel you were blushing even if you couldn't see it but you were determined even if you hadn't planned on this. You stood there not entirely sure what to do and it was making you anxious. Finally you shook your head and reminded yourself all you needed to do was act like Victor. Could you even pull it off though, you didn't exactly have his skill or confidence. Would he even enjoy it?
“Trying to wait out the clock my love?”
“No.”
Victor was still wearing that smug smile on his face and it annoyed you. You stepped closer to him picking up a lock of his hair and kissing it as he frequently did to you. That smug smile faded almost instantly and once it had you reached up on your toes and captured his lips in a kiss.
You started with brief pecks and built up to longer, hungrier kisses as your hands roamed along his body. You pushed aside the embarrassment and self doubt that kept creeping in and removed his tie before moving your fingers to the buttons on his shirt. You undid the first one and broke your kiss only for your lips to kiss his newly exposed skin. Your lips followed your fingers kissing down Victor's chest as button after button came undone revealing more of him.
Once you were out of buttons you kissed your way back up his stomach and chest to the side of his neck as you slid his shirt off each arm and dropped it to the floor. You stepped back trailing your fingers along the path your lips had just taken until they rested at the top of his pants. You took a deep breath and let it out before looking up at Victor expecting to find an amused smile on his face. Instead he wore a serious and somewhat pained expression, his eyes smoldering with hunger. You stepped towards him again and rested your forehead on his chest as you undid his belt and let his pants fall away to join his shirt.
You lift your forehead off his chest and kissed it once before you placed your palms upon it and began to push him backwards towards the bed. He reached out one hand to cup your cheek as you did so, his eyes locked on yours. When he stopped you gave him a gentle shove down onto the bed only letting him scoot all the way onto it before you pushed him all the way down as you knelt beside him.
You lean over him giving him soft kiss after soft kiss as your hand moved over his cock and around his balls. You nip at his lips as your tongues danced together and his breathing started to become ragged. Once his cock was somewhat hard you pull your lips away from his and let your tongue trail down the side of his neck to the crook where you bit him and suck at his skin making him groan.
A smile was on your face as you kissed your way back down Victor's chest towards his cock. Normally you were the one at his mercy and coming undone, seeing him react similarly made you happy. You reached his cock and lick up the side of it before kissing the tip, your one hand grasping it around the base while you use the other to steady yourself. You lick up his length again and again, making sure not to miss an inch of his skin before taking the tip of it in your mouth and flicking over his slit with your tongue.
The deep breaths and barely audible moans coming from Victor delight you and you start to work your mouth up and down his cock while your hand gently cups his balls. You take more of him into your mouth with each pass and the more of him you take in the more he moans. Your tongue swirls around it as you go up and down and his fingers grab a handful of your hair. Your next time up you remove his cock from your mouth to get a much needed breath and drag your tongue along and around the tip. You close your lips around it again but just the tip as you slowly tease his slit with your tongue and his fingers tighten their grip on your hair. You go back to working your mouth up and down his shaft picking up speed with each pass and you begin to feel your pussy tingle.
As your own arousal grows you suck him even harder and faster and soon you feel his warm cum filling up your mouth and trickling down your throat. He tastes bitter sweet and you shudder briefly as you swallow it down, running your tongue along his cock to clean some of the mess as you pull it from your mouth. Victor's eyes are closed and his breathing begins to even out as you get out of bed and remove your clothes as quickly as you can tossing them to the floor.
Climbing back into the bed you kiss Victor's side before positioning yourself on top of him and guiding him into you in one swift motion. His hands come up to your hips helping to steady you as you find your rhythm. Once you're steady his hands make their way around to your stomach and travel upwards cupping your breasts and you look down at him. His eyes are full of lust and love with a hint of naughtiness and you know your eyes look the same. He smiles at you and you smile back as you move faster and your hands come to rest over his. His fingers caress your breasts gently but you squeeze his hands so that they put more pressure on them. He follows your lead kneading harder and you move your hands so that they're gripping his arms.
“Ahh Victor!”
He twists your nipples hard and you let out a moan. It's becoming harder to think and it's taking all your concentration to keep moving. One of Victor's hands leaves your breasts and travels to your clit, his fingers rubbing it as you rode his cock.
“Fas..faster.”
Victor does as you order his fingers rubbing faster over your clit and you fall over the edge crying out his name. Your walls tighten around his warm cock inside you and your clit pulses as his fingers slow down. Your body does the same and soon you collapse forwards laying on his chest with him still buried deep inside you. He wraps his arms around your back rubbing it lazily and you lay there for some time completely spent. Your just about to sink into sleep when you hear the grandfather clock in the hallway strike midnight. Victor's hands stop moving and you feel a kiss on your shoulder before you're flipped onto your back.
“Very admirable little robin, but when have I ever stopped at having you only once?”
Your eyes go wide and then soften as you laugh and wrap your arms around Victor's back.
“Fine I concede, I've still got a long way to go to match your villainy.”
“Excellent! Then I think I'll claim my prize now.”
Victor leans in to kiss you as he begins thrusting and you wrap your legs around him ready to sink further into pleasure.

15 Day BL Challenge
Day 7: Favorite Villain
I do like me a good villain. But good villains can also be hard to find. There's a lot of one-dimensional villains out there, or they're so horribly abusive & homophobic that you just want them to die.
I much prefer villains with some dimension and complexity, though I can be won over by a villain who's just clearly having a ton of fun.
So who to pick...
I do like Vegas a lot, but I kinda don't see him as a villain? He's an antagonist for sure, and does some dark stuff, but he's clearly a victim in a lot of ways, and gets the secondary romance in the story. Not that that's mutually exclusive from villainy, but it's just not how my brain categorizes him.
I looooved Heng's portrayal of Chalothon; he did so much to add dimension to a fairly thinly-written character, but we didn't get to see Chalothon's change of heart, or the incredible acting Heng would have brought to it, so that makes him slip down overall for me. (Can you just imagine the scene of Chalothon giving his Naga soul to Tharn? We get so few good villain turns in BL. I'm so pained at the deprivation).
I do have a soft spot for Aoey in Lovely Writer, largely due to Bruce's acting. He's a very interesting character in terms of a person who had a chance for his own beautiful real love story, and just made all the wrong choices, time after time. (I mean who in their right mind would say no to Chap?)
Oh who are we kidding, y'all know I am a fanatic for Not Me. I'm going to have to go with my boy Todd.
Sing is such a versatile actor, I don't think he gets nearly enough credit for what a chameleon he is. He's really good at fluffy roles for sure, but when he had to turn on the menace as Todd, he absolutely delivered.
He plays Todd's turn from "helpful friend" to "rich bastard" perfectly and in such a believable way. He's chillingly realistic in his belief that the only way to change the world is to buy it, and make it his.
And of course we can't talk about Todd without talking about his relationship with Black, how fucking thrilled Todd is when he realizes Black is awake from his coma (that Todd is responsible for), and how these two consistently try to kill one another, but can't, because of their deep fucked up love (they bone in between fights, you can never convince me otherwise).
Also, the scenes between Gun & Sing are goddamn acting masterclasses.
If we ever get our Joong Archen serial killer show, Sing needs to be his accomplice.

Reading your thoughts on the new drdt episode, I agree a lot on what you felt negatively about this episode. I've been frustrated for a while because it feels like the time spent on Levi's secret was dragged out, then Hu chimes in with her secret, then Teruko who is probably lying, and they're only just now talking about the murder method. One thing I want to get off my chest though: I think I may be in the minority in that I actually dislike the reveal with Levi's implied ASPD. For me, it just feels very jarring. He still killed 4 people, and while we don't know the entire context it just feels weird to me that this aspect of his character is being so positively received? Maybe I'm being too sensitive or interpreting in bad faith but I feel like Levi having implied ASPD and then having it revealed he killed 4 people is just iffy, especially since he mentioned 2 of those people he just decided to kill a few days after the first.
// I completely understand that, but this is also something I'm willing to go to bat for.
//I dunno if you were around for this, but last year, when it was revealed that Nico was nonbinary and then they tried to kill Ace, there were a LOT of people who were worried that DT was resorting to queerphobic tropes, or they themselves had some very nasty interpretations of them as a character.
//And none of that was true. Nico is not a crazy serial murderer whose villainy is exacerbated by being nonbinary, it was just something that happened and next episode is going to explain why it happened. Nothing about the episodes since have implied that attempted murder had anything to do with what people were worried about, and when it's brought up, it's still treated as a serious problem.
//I also wouldn't say Levi having ASPD was positively received. Everyone else seemed pretty disturbed and put off by both the murders and him admitting he doesn't really understand compassion or empathy. I'm not saying I'm happy about it either.
//But I think it's interesting to have a character like him in all this. This chapter's theme is about the complexities behind what it means to be a good person. Having someone who has done wrong, and who is physiologically incapable of remorse, but still has a desire to do good even if he has no emotional investment in doing so? That's a very different take on the idea that you don't see very often.
//I'm also just relieved that Levi isn't some crazy volatile murder machine like so many thought he was. The most common depictions of people with ASPD tend to paint them as inherently violent or manipulative, when plenty can live totally normal lives and have relationships with others.
//It's jarring, yes, but I believe that's the point. You have David, an obvious manipulator who claims to have good intentions but is willing to sacrifice others' lives to achieve them; and you have Levi, a moral sociopath who wants to help and protect others because it benefits him, but he almost seems apologetic about his inability to care about others.
//I feel the point of this chapter is that being a "good person" is not as simple as we believe, and by revealing someone with ASPD- one of the most maligned and villainized conditions out there- is actually on the up and up? It's a pretty challenging take, because I believe we're meant to consider it all as well.
//Bottom line, there's no easy answers in this situation and that's really the goal. Should we change our opinions about Levi because he's admitted he doesn't experience compassion for others? Or does it matter since he's made it clear he has no reason to harm anyone here?
//I still have my issues with this chapter so far, and I do understand your concerns, but all this why I think it's at least an interesting direction with this chapter's themes.

oc pride challenge 2024 (Day 12): Tropes of an Aro/Ace OC
Morgan Wells + Tropes:
No Love For The “Wicked” (trope subversion)
In lacking both sexual and romantic attraction, Morgan knows there are already those who see her as “broken” or “inhuman.” But with the addition of her “father” being a murderer who confessed to his crime, that increases her odds of being sneered at enormously…so while she’s careful about who she comes out to, she’s also afraid deep down that at least one of them might see the Reverse Flash in her. And perhaps partly because of this fear, she pushes herself to be more heroic, even recklessly at times.
*Disclaimer: Although Morgan Thawne/RF!Morgan does exist in the Morgan AU multiverse, and is in fact aroace, this is merely to align with her “canonical” queer identity and does not contribute to her villainy in any way*
Platonic Super Partners
Ever heard of Platonic Life Partners? Superhero Partners? Supervillain Partners? Well, this trope (invented by me) encompasses them all! Whether as a villainous or heroic duo, Morgan Wells/Thawne and Barry Allen are a force to be reckoned with…and woe betide anyone who dares try to break their bond.
Ace in the Hole
As the name suggests, Morgan, especially as she grows older and hones her powers to a fine point, becomes a hidden advantage to not only Team Flash in the present, but also to herself and Nora West-Allen in the future. It’s Iris who first calls Morgan their “ace in the hole”, and Nora who uses the nickname for Morgan later (not knowing that her mother used it first)

I’m yet again making another Total Drama Controversy Meme! WILL CONTAIN SOME TOTAL DRAMA REBOOT SPOILERS!
Favorite Character: Bowie - He came to win and he SHOULD HAVE! He played a strategic and smart game in season 1 of the reboot, he proved to be a strong player (very Alejandro and Heather reminiscent in terms of sheer strategy). I love how he handled his relationship with Raj as well by putting a pause to it until after the show was over.
Despised Character: Julia - I strongly dislike her as a villain (while yes she was a challenge “beast” her “villainy” wasn’t good at all. The whole finding the idol OFF SCREEN thing still irks me to this day.)
Favorite Season: Total Drama World Tour - It’s probably the most well written and most entertaining season of the series. It also introduced my all time favorite character Alejandro Burromuerto (and amazing Aleheather relationship). I do think it’s got it’s flaws but between the new characters, the SONGS, Aleheather and the love triangle this season had myself and many others tuned in every night)
Despised Season: Pahkitew Island - A very bland and boring season that did nothing for the series. Full of forgettable characters (aside from maybe 2 or 3).
Most Overrated Character: Cody- This isn’t to even call him a “bad” character but especially in world tour he did nothing but get carried (literally and figuratively) by Sierra all season.
Most Underrated Character: Bridgette - I know after her elimination she got to host the aftermath shows with Geoff but she wasn’t even brought back anytime later on (aside from a few speaking lines in TDROTI) and that’s it. She’s a B+ character.
Favorite Couple: Alejandro x Noah x Heather - I recently discovered this OT3 and I have found an amazing fan fiction called Lovers and Fools by @henke-penke ( X <- linked here) I love how Noah was given a role where we actually get to witness his schemer archetype in action all while paring him with the two best players of the show’s history. I love their dynamic together and I cannot wait to read more upcoming chapters. I’m obsessed with this relationship and I hope it becomes more loved.
Despised Couple: Gwuncan- I’ve hated this paring since at least 2009/2010 when action aired and world tour just amplified that dislike. Y’all can read my old rants here (X) (X) (X)
Favorite Song: I’m Gonna Make It - It moves the plot long and is a damn amazing song plus the Aleheather rivalry being showcased even more.
Despised Song: Paris in the Spring time- Completely unnecessary song plus I was never the biggest fan of Sierra.
Favorite Episode: I Triple Dog Dare You- Easily one of the best episodes of the series, from the disgusting dares to Heather getting her deserved karma it was entertaining from start to finish.
Despised Episode: Greeces Pieces - this is the start of that….relationship and the downward spiral of Duncan, Courtney and Gwen but especially Courtney who back in 2011 received so much hate because of this love triangle.

Putting Tony and Grandmaster together really highlights what's unique about Tony's character.
I'm sure I've brought this up in the past, but it's super easy to create a Shadow Archetype of Tony. You can make Shadow Archetypes of Tony without even trying. Most capitalist villains are Shadow Archetypes of Tony. A lot of fascists are Shadow Archetypes of Tony.
This is because Tony is, himself, a Light Archetype of a villainous character. That's his whole thing. The building blocks of his character DNA are basically a How-To guide for writing a villain; The only thing he's missing is villainy. That's the point.
Tony is a self-imposed challenge Stan Lee undertook one day to see if he could get the audience to root for a heroic character who inexplicably embodies all these traits commonly seen in villains. His whole thing is "What if Lex Luthor or Norman Osborn was somehow heroic?"
Tony is not a villain. But he's designed to feel like he should be, which makes it all the more impressive when he's not. That's a hard tightrope to walk, and the MCU hasn't always managed it with grace, but that's the character.
This puts Tony in a unique position in superhero media. It's something that's easy to lose sight of when he's standing next to the likes of Captain America or Spider-Man. Heroic depictions of heroic archetypes; Characters who are fundamentally good down to the building blocks of their narrative DNA.
But when you throw him at someone like Thanos or the Grandmaster or the comic version of Justin Hammer, villainous portrayals wrought from similar villainous cloth from the fabric he's cut from, that's when you start to see it.
What If 2-4 is a great episode for Tony. It really captures the paradox of this character; Something that even Tony struggles with.

I’ve got an influx of new stuff coming because it’s almost May the 4th and I do enjoy a good Star Wars Day merch haul. And because I don’t always lean toward villains, I challenged myself to make some villainous keychains.
Starting off with my Vader lanyard keychain! The Death Star, the imperial cog, and tie fighters feature prominently, but my favorite is the aurebesh text on the lanyard: PEACE - FREEDOM - JUSTICE - SECURITY.
I know Boba Fett is more of an anti-hero now, but he’s done some villainy! The Fett clan sigil as well as the Mandalorian mythosaur skull appear as charms and also along the lanyard.
Thrawn! I really wanted to make something that referenced both Thrawn’s beginnings at the Chiss Ascendency and where he ends up with the Empire—on the Chimera.
And lastly, I had to make a KyloRen keychain. This has the first order seal and tie fighters and star destroyers and…yes that blue light saber charm is for Ben. The Aurebesh along the top reads: BLOW THAT PIECE OF JUNK OUT OF THE SKY.
These are all in the shop. Which is here. 💜

Kirby becomes a Star Warrior / Sir Uther (OC)
Now I’ve seen Uther used from the Arthurian mythos in other Kirby AU merely defining him as Sir Arthur’s father who he inherited the GSA from. Not many are written as straight up bad guys, that is until today Sir Uther is a villain in the KBASW universe and he’s not Arthur’s dad in this one just mentor in the story (but frankly he shouldn’t be anyone’s dad.)
I just had to post this before publishing the story cause everyone’s gonna wonder “who’s he when reading?” So yeah this is the face of Uther, when he’s mentioned in the story.
I definitely wrote him as the guy everyone hates and though he maybe gone, his selfishness and pride were what ultimately what brought down the GSA. After his death Arthur vowed to reverse and rewrite the mistakes of Uther’s cruelty; becoming the new leader of the GSA. Arthur was and still afraid of his old mentor, his influenced is what made Arthur hide MK’s wings all the time. Meta thought Arthur was afraid of his demon side when in reality he was afraid of Uther. Uther does and kicks off many of the downfalls and tragedies of the GSA & MK’s crew. Due to his own prejudices towards Meta which come back to haunt him.
This Uther is highly inspired by Merlin (2008) Uther the show’s but if your want to hear more explanation on the character but basically yeah the Uther in that show hates magic and kills many innocent people because of that so just switch that around with Nightmare and his demons and yeah same principals.
Also his character color scheme is actually based off the Queen of Hearts from Alice & Wonderland. A bit of foreshadowing of his temperament as well as his madness.
And his relationship with Galacta Knight; well let’s just say his ego was knocked down a peg once Galacta was recognized as the strongest warrior in the galaxy by the Ancients. Before Galacta it was Uther and he was the leader of the GSA because of that... with Galacta there he felt his authority was challenged..
He guys I’ve been actually working on this OC for months since I named dropped him in Dec. it’s also my first OC and let me tell you creating an OC is tough, I hope my efforts were worth it and you guys like it.
keep reading the content character explanation below...
Now I’ve seen a lot of people characterize Sir Arthur as a well-meaning person who’s just stuck in their old ways. Sometimes straight-up “good guy” or “leader” who live long enough to see themselves become the villain; similar to the many interpretations depending on which version you see/
Now I don’t mind Uther being interpreted as a good guy or someone in the grey area but I’m just surprised with the lack of villainous Uthers. A constant in Arthurian legend is that Uther has always been a rotten human being. In the original story of Arthur’s conception, Uther wanted to get with the Duke of Cornwall's wife and started a war because of it. (I'm not going to explain any more of the story but yeah you should read the original for the rest of it.) But yeah he straight-kicks up war cause he gets what he wants which ends up being betrayed by his own people.
I wanted to take that type of self-destructive villainy from the original Uther making him as despicable as the original from the story. With a little mix of my own spin on the character with some modern-day villains too.
When designing his character I knew I wanted to have some foreshadowing and symbolism in his design. I really wanted to make him very intimidating along with the level of regality. I ended up thinking about old-school villains from Disney and I came up with Queen of Hearts which fit his character perfectly. And after I just knew I had to give him a scythe as his weapon no questions asked! He’d definitely say “OFF WITH YOUR HEAD”, before slicing up one of his victims.
And I got a bit of inspiration from Avatar’s Ozai too similar temperament as well. that’s how I got the idea to have Uther control fire as well as light. Which emerged the idea for his wings. Couldn’t decide whether I wanted to give him dragon wings or bird wings... But when the concept of Phoenix wings came up I knew I could work more story into them than just the dragon wings.
I also wanted to show the importance of status to him with his armor and cape & mantle; being adored with gold. His mask has two colors red & black very reminiscent of a checkerboard; conveying his two-facedness. Seeing his soldiers as pawns wanting to be in control of everything. I hope I was able to convey that in his design... He cares so much about his position and hates when his authority is questioned in any way; he makes sure everyone knows who’s in charge.
When I call Uther an elitist, I mean that he would give very little care to the soldiers who were not as puffballs and would immediately categorize them as lesser beings. During the war when the GSA & the ancients were defining other galaxies' worth: they would prioritize the more advanced civilization and the lesser solar system was the last to be protected. This eventually formed the Star Systems Alliance (or the S.S.A.) which was controlled by the Ancients, the GSA elites, and the upper crusts of the galaxy so yeah corrupt government everybody.
I got this idea in the Wolfwrath episode with Sword & Blade explaining their backstories as he described that the war had turned the galaxy into a wasteland and that they had to become bandits & thieves to survive.
So yeah that’s basically what Uther’s doing... he would use lesser planets as battlegrounds, and make many of the inhabitants helpless. This is how the volunteer army gets started. The GSA would offer benefits and supplies to those who volunteer to join. However they’d have to live long enough to actually receive these benefits. So yeah he took advantage of lesser planets to get new soldiers and made sure they’d be his battle plan guinea pigs.
This brings Jecra and Garlude into that mix as well... Jerca who had just lost his partner did not have the means to provide for his baby son (Knuckle Joe). He had his parents but they were too old to work. Heard about the GSA’s offer and signed up; his parents weren’t sure and knew their son would be on the front line. But Jecra brought up the point that it’s either that or they all die by starvation. Sadly they agreed and promised to take care of Joe.
As for Garlude she was noble and had people under her care, the war had been pulling resources away from her people. Her husband (a man she married out of obligation but was friends with) went himself to negotiate for resources with the Ancients & from the S.S Alliance but mysteriously disappeared afterward. So to find out the truth of her husband’s disappearance and to provide for her people (as well as her daughter) joins the volunteer army.
Eventually, there were so many who volunteered that they needed someone to supervise and train them. Uther didn’t want to waste training these volunteers and use one of his elite soldiers (they were gonna die quickly anyway). Then there was the Meta newly knighted Star Warrior, who he rejected into joining the Holy Knights. The other higher-up knights and ancients didn’t know what to do with him because they didn’t want MK to represent them and they were all looking to Uther for an answer. It was more of a way to stall until he could think of what to properly what to do with him properly. Which was probably the best thing he could have done for MK.
After 4 months of training, Meta Knight wants to join their ranks and become the sole person in charge of the Volunteer Army. Which lowers his status never being able to join the higher-ups. Uther thinks this is a great way to save face and get rid of MK. To him, Meta was finally accepting his fate of dying on the battlefield, but to Meta Knight, he was freeing himself from all of them.
And with that MK renamed the group Team Halberd... and became the most beloved group of Knights of the GSA. And Uther became pissed he’d give MK and his group the most difficult missions but that made them more famous. Things only started going south for the team after the fall of the Ancients & Yami’s betrayal. Also, Yamikage was not part of Team Halberd he was part of the ninja section of the army which Dragato was in charge of. (And yes I made the MK ship into angst fuel Halberd the ship being named in honor of his original unit). And Uther starts to go mad and plays a big role in Kirby’s birth... hope you guys stay to find out.

MAGOLOR PROPAGANDA: Magolor is a REALLY cool character. I think he's got a pretty great design, and there's a lot of great music associated with him. Go listen to "Settling a Score - Atone for One's Misdeeds" and "C-R-O-W-N-E-D", those are some of the best. Maybe listen to "Interdimensional Traveler" and "I'll Never Forget You (Memorial Arrangement)" too if you like those at all. Looking past design and music, he's a GREAT character. He has more dialogue than any other character, probably more than every character combined across the whole series, and just about every word of it is a joy. The lore drops, the silly puns, the explanations, learning to have friends, everything. It's all so GOOD. As a villain, I really like him. He shows up at the start of Kirby's Return to Dream Land by crashing his Interdimensional Boat Spaceship, the Lor Starcutter, and you spend most of the game gathering parts to help him repair it. He has you fight the dragon, Landia, who shot him down in the first place, but it turns out Landia was stopping him because he was trying to steal the Master Crown, a source of unlimited power that would let him rule the universe. He takes the crown and reveals his grand plan with a pretty great speech (which Kirby does not understand very much...) and leaves to set this into motion. Kirby, with the help of his friends and Landia, fight him. The Crown takes his body, turning him into little more than a shell, but Kirby shatters the Crown off of him. After this, his (playable and very fun!) redemption arc begins. He is trapped between dimensions, and all of his power is lost. He travels and gathers it all by collecting shards of a Gem Apple and with Magic points, along the way making lots of puns, pathetically holding onto villainy by saying things like "thank badness!" and eventually realising he LIKED having friends and remembers that he wants to make people happy (his life goal is to run a theme park). The shards of the Crown take over the (now fully-built) Gem Apple, and it takes form as a giant tree. Gathering all of his magic into a sword, he cuts it in half in a flashy showdown and redeems himself. He spends a while in a parallel world, and eventually returns to Kirby. He builds theme parks to apologise, accomplishing his dream in the process. He's happy now, but he's still quite mischievous! He loves to play pranks and add a bit of extra danger to his attractions. Also, he ties into a few Christian themes which I find quite interesting. The yellow in his design is there because it's the colour of betrayal in Christianity, Magolor Day canonically falls on a Sunday and the first one ever was an Easter, the room he keeps the Apple shards in is literally called the Room of Eden in the Japanese version of the game, and both the temptation of the Master Crown and his connection to apples could be taken as tying into this as well. He is also a JOY to play as in all three games where he is playable. Especially Magolor Epilogue, which is the one where he redeems himself. You upgrade his powers throughout it with lots of fun dialogue about it, and the levels and challenges are all a blast. I've tried my best to explain him, but if anyone reading this is interested: Go read his page on Wikirby! Or, even better, go and play Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe if you have a Nintendo Switch! He is genuinely such a great character and I want as many people as possible to have a good time with him too!
I see! Well, you've heard the propaganda, now take your new knowledge and let it help you vote!

Profiles in Villainy
OverCat
The despotic powerhouse known as OverCat heralds from an alien world called Felina. This is a technologically advanced planet populated with large, humanoid cats. The largest and strongest of his kind, OverCat ruled over Felina with an iron fist. One day the planet’s naturally occurring milk-wells all ran dry and OverCat hatched a plot to travel to earth and steal all of its cows so that he and his planet could have a never-ending supply of milk. He also abducted intrepid reporter Sweat Polly to milk all of the stolen cows.
The mighty Underdog rescued Polly and return the cows to earth. This prompted OverCat to challenge Underdog to a one-on-one fight with the winner getting all of the cows. Underdog accepted and, following a tremendous battle, the hero triumphed. OverCat was banished from Felina and Underdog planted groves of coconut trees that would provide its populace an abundant source of milk.
The villainous OverCat was voiced by actor Allen Swift and first appeared in an episode of Underdog that aired on September 17th, 1966.

Wow. I didn't not expecting that.
So you are belivie after killing. Philip deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deeeeeeeeep dooown regreted it before lost his mind?
Killing Caleb is among his worst memories, as shown in King's Tide.
Philip's villainy and evilness in all honors, he loved Caleb.
Imagine yourself in his younger years. The 1600s were really not a pretty time and especially not if you're born into a puritan community. You are orphaned when you haven't even reached the age of 10. You have no other relatives or friends around. All you have is your brother who is a few years your senior. You've known him since day one. He's always been there. He loved you and showed so. He cared for you and protected you with all he can despite him being so young himself. He got you two through so much already. He makes sure you are fed (whether that means rightfully buying food or stealing it) and alive. He wants you to have as much of a good childhood as is possible with your means. You are two kids with nothing but a dream and some fantasy.
There is good reason to assume Philip looked up to Caleb. He most definitely saw him as a role-model. And no matter his opinion towards what Caleb is doing now, how hurt and betrayed he feels, no matter how much anger he carries towards Caleb, that's still the one person in his life he looked up to. The one person to care. The one person to love. You can't just let that go.
Realizing you have killed the dearest person to you... that doesn't leave you unmarked. Especially not with information we have of Philip such as the previously mentioned worst memory and his attempts at recreating what he's lost: the Grimwalkers.
It's twisted and turned and yes, considering he's a madman, it can't make sense to us but we can definitely say that Philip cared and Philip loved Caleb despite everything and it's not hard to think of why.
Philip is a complex character. He is what Disney so desperately tries to do in their movies these days: the sympathetic villain. Now don't get me wrong, Philip is a villain. Straight up. What he does is bad and the fact he feels no remorse most of the time and holds such power... it makes him scary. Most of us hate him as a person and for good reason. But looking back at what he went through, even if most is self-induced, does make you feel empathy for him. Even if just a little.
There is facettes to him. It's really challenging to get that depth of his character right by even just an ounce in TDAAC.
Having his younger self ask these questions as "how could you?" and reminding him who Caleb was and how Caleb was all he had seemed like the best way to portray that complexity. Little Philip is heartbroken, bitterly crying and directly saying that there's none other's fault than his own. He's questioning just how it could've come this way. How could he, who claimed to love Caleb, have thrust a knife into Caleb's side? He's calling out his own hypocrisy. He can't recognize himself
Older Philip is in denial, searching for answers to his own whys and framing Caleb as the one responsible in most of them. Caleb was corrupted, Caleb betrayed him first and because of that he wanted to save Caleb and it ended up going horribly wrong.
The more his younger self keeps confronting him, the less he wants to listen, silencing the kid he once was. The kid, that could've never hurt Caleb in his own imagination.
And still... even with the little broken boy silenced and gone, he is aware it's his fault more than it is Caleb's. He breaks down in distress, too many voices in his head fighting with each other.

Caretaker watched as her father was taken away in handcuffs, the ever present smile plastered on his face. Her mum was already inside, annoyed with her husband’s antics, choosing instead to answer emails from her coworkers, while her brothers stood next to Caretaker watching their father get hauled off.
“Get back before dinner, Baba!” Two shouted, earning an elbow from One.
Her father laughed boisterously, “You know I will!” This did not go over well with the officers dragging him away, who turned to glare at him even harder. Furious because they all knew it was true.
Baba was untouchable, too good at what he did to leave any identifiable evidence behind. Each time the police tried to pin him for a job, there was nothing. They’d just hold the man for a few hours, or the full 48 hours if he really pissed them off, before releasing him back to his family.
Cat burglary was an art passed down the generations, but her father was the one who truly put the family name in the spotlight. The villain had cultivated a reputation for being able to pull off any heist, no matter how secure the facility was, without ever having to kill anyone. Various other villains and businessmen had tried to hire the man to steal for them, but he was never interested in it for the money, using whatever he collected for charity. He simply did it to keep up a legacy, for the fun, and, most importantly, the challenge.
Caretaker had learned to expect her father to be out for the day if she ever saw the news cover a big heist. He never told her or the twins about his operations, only Mum was ever privy to that information, so she always learned about it after the fact from other sources. It used to bother her as a child– she wanted to be just like him– and then when she started as a hero– it put them at odds– but as Caretaker got older and grew into her role, she found herself being grateful for the secrecy. It meant she didn’t have to jail him herself.
Most other heroes didn’t trust her because of her father; figured the villainy was in her blood, and that meant that her family was evil. It was black and white for them, little room for grey.
As Baba knocked his head on the top of the police cruiser, all Caretaker could think was that they were right. Heisting was in her blood. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t use those skills for good.
She was the best in the department for breaking into supervillain facilities, cracking safes full of confidential information, and sneaking in on illegal deals. And having her mother’s muscular build didn't hurt one bit either. Caretaker was a force to be reckoned with.
Her moral compass may not completely align with those around her, but she knew her right and wrong– learned it all from her father. Nobody seemed to understand that, nobody except Whumpee. Maybe that’s why they butted heads so much at the beginning of their partnership. They seemed like everyone else because they were frustrated with her uncooperativeness, not her family, while Caretaker was uncooperative because she expected them to be like everyone else. A vicious cycle that thankfully didn’t last too long.
Turning from the scene, Caretaker opened the door and motioned for her brothers. “Come on, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, time to head in. You’ve seen this all before.”
“I knowww, but it’s way more fun to watch Baba get dragged away,” Two replied, “and seeing how mad the coppers get is hilarious.”
“And it’s therapeutic,” added One.
“Let’s go. I have to get to work, and I can’t leave until I make sure y’all don’t do something stupid like last time.” It frustrated Caretaker to no end that she had to watch over her college-aged brothers, but after they almost set a cop car on fire, she made sure not to leave them alone with the law.
Both of them looked dejected, even the usually stoic One, as they shuffled inside, turning one last time to watch as their father drove away.
Caretaker waved bye to her dad once more, before heading inside to join the rest of her family.
