Do I get to roll a d20?

Because I like the d20

That shape pleases me

I do not wish to roll a random amount of d6s or d8s or any of them other fuckers

I wish to roll the d20 because icosahedrons please me

I will also accept d12 but the other shapes all have less mouthfeel so if that’s what your game’s based on, it is not for me

(really fucking awesome armand character study. the first time i ever found marius compelling due to the fact that he's written from the lens of armand's tangled knot of being. like i think he should be killed with hammers as much as the next guy but he makes for such a fascinating narrative concept)

hey! any angsty aftg fic recs?

okay prefacing this by saying i don't read a ton of like pure angst fics so these recs are mostly angst mixed w/ fluff and all of the finished ones at least have a happy ending, it might not be exactly what your looking for but they are some of my faves so

-Learning to be Human by coritkyo is one of my favorite andreil fics of all time it's a robot/android/cyborg au with a really amazing andreil dynamic it's unfinished (for now) but the mix of angst / healing / fluff is genuinely so good i was crying at 3 am while reading the last chapter idk if it fits what ur looking for but im plugging it anyway bcus i love this fic so bad.

-i know Baltimore Blues by spanglebangle is one of the more kudo'd fics in the fandom but if you haven't read that DO ITTTTT, i am always a slut for andrew baltimore povs. honestly any fic by spanglebangle is worth it even their unfinished fics are so good

-Coffee and Lies by Leocante is just a really good character study of neil though i think this is one of the more subtly angsty ones but it really digs into his pysche which i'm a fan of

-I Hope You Lie To Me by NikNak22 is actually so fucking good and so fucking worth it's post canon and all about andreil settling into their relationship and neil delving into his sexuality which i'm always a huge fan of

-if you're looking for more like heavier angst / aus / long fics Innominate by Major_816 is very good though it is unfinished right now it's probably one of the only very heavy raven esque / adjacent neil fics i have been able to get through

-final longer fic rec is Amor Vincit Omnia by Stjosten which is another au but the andreil build and struggle is just really good in that fic and i enjoyed it immensely

-okay this is my last rec for now I'm gonna make this place your home by earthworms is a what if mary was alive au and i LOVE fics that go into the mary neil dynamic so that's one of my all time faves im truly just a sucker for it

music for our funeral by @itowhotypes - read this a while back but this was phenomenal and the level of detail was absolutely incredible 

when i awake by @wildflowerteas - destroyed me, put me back together again, destroyed me. then rinse and repeat several times.

emergency number by @valleykey - found this maybe two weeks ago? was intrigued, started reading and did not put it down once before i was finished. obsessed. 

and a couple of series for fun: - the symbitoic series by @bnesszai - i love everything ness writes but i read this series way before we were friends and still i'm obsessed with it so it deserves a mention - lost remnants series by kanekei - gorgeous and devastating, but mind the warnings bonus: normally i wouldn’t recommend a wip however navarasam has an entire chapter dedicated to (very successfully) hitting me where it hurts so how could i not. thank u vi @starrynightarchive.

He makes a psychic collect call to Lestat, of all people, and asks if he's sure. Asks Armand if he's sure when he accepts the invitation, when they're packing, when they're on the way to the airport. When they're walking up to arrivals, Armand’s grip crushing Daniel's fingers, Louis smiling at the back of the crowd with his hands in his pockets, casual as anything, like they do this every day. They're all sure and sure and sure, so Daniel lets Louis pull him in with one arm, Armand with the other, and hug them both while a planeful of tired New Yorkers filters out around them into the muggy bayou dark.

(look okay i know this fic is mostly smut and all but it literally made me cry multiple times. it changed my worldview. it made me see colors previously not experienced by the human perception. it's everything to me. if you haven't read it just like. please please do.)

I'm so bad at actually remembering to recommend fics I like, but I was just reminded of "You And Me Were Built for Violence" and I wanted to take a moment and recommend it to folks if they haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet! It's a Fuga Impossivel + 2b2t crossover fic where Tazercraft are washed up on 2b2t shortly after their escape from Alcatraz and are found by none other than FitMC. It's got some great Fit/Pac content and some really good Tazercraft content. 10/10 fic! There's only two chapters so far, but they're both very satisfying and well written.

Does anyone have any movie or TV show recommendations 🥺 we are bored (recovering from surgery+freshly unemployed) and the only enrichment other than our shitty phone that dies in 10 minutes is our TV (our computer gives us headaches real bad for some reason)

I have been shared a shitload of streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu I think, Amazon video, Max, probably more tbh!!) (sadly I don't think we were shared peacock or paramount+ tho) so like anything that is on A Streaming Service is fair game
