After Good Omens one and two and Dead Boys Detectives now I'm watching Our Flag Means Death. Could someone explain to me why I want to be adopted by a middle-aged gay couple and have brunches on Sunday morning at a vegan place that rescues cats and hosts Ceramic Wednesday for lesbians only?

Might get an impulse tattoo today if there's a walk-in appt available and the flat rate isn't too expensive (the FALL RISK knuck tats I've wanted for ages) (The origins of this tattoo idea are I am always in the hospital and they always give me a FALL RISK wristband because of epilepsy and I thought it would be very funny to get as knuck tats) (They always give me two ALLERGY ALERT wristbands too but alas that doesn't fit as knuck tats)

Rose Petal Jam
100g rose petals
300g (1½ cups) sugar
juice of ½ a lemon
5-6g of agar-agar
Immerse the roses in a basin of cold water and gently detach the petals, taking care to remove any aphids or other small creatures.
Cook the rose petals with the sugar, lemon and 3¼ cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, without boiling. The water will turn pink and the petals will turn grey.
Strain to keep only the pink juice. Let cool.
Measure the juice obtained and add the equivalent of 6g of agar-agar per liter (4¼  cups) obtained.
Bring the mixture to the boil and simmer for 30 seconds.
Pour into jars and let cool.

What do you do when the pricey ‘artisan’ gluten free bread turns out to be disappointing? Let it go a little stale in the bread bin and then make some very good French toast!

Found an aged white flesh peach in the fridge so I paired the toast with gilled peaches, yoghurt (vegan obv.) and a drizzle of maple syrup.

A little brunch before you Thanksgiving dinner/linner later lol. I made pumpkin French toast I use pumpkin puree to replace the eggs into a milk to replace the milk there's also some maple syrup and a little bit of pumpkin pie spice mix. I also made a pumpkin spice latte using soy milk oat whipped cream and instant expresso and Daily Harvest and pumpkin spice latte cubes. There's also some cranberry / lingonberry jam. Strawberry Soup
2 cups vanilla yogurt (dairy free if needed)
½ cup orange juice
2 lbs fresh strawberries, halved (8 cups)
½ cups sugar
fresh mint leaves, optional
In a blender, combine the yogurt, orange juice, strawberries and sugar in batches; cover and process until blended. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with additional yogurt and mint leaves if desired.
