A prominent philosopher in ancient Greece, he had garnered a large following because of his unique perspectives. They were encouraged and later seduced by Pestilence, who saw potential in their thoughts, but he was dying of an unknown disease, watching their life slip away. Pestilence came to him with an offer, a way to continue on without dying. Turned into a vampire at 46s years old, he had no idea what he was in for. With a thirst for blood, he took to the world with a new zeal. Deeply intellectual, they have spent centuries at the cutting edge of education. Have developed an addiction to Pestilence’s blood, which gives him cryptic visions. He is currently trying to figure out what the Franchise is and how to transcend his current predicament of vampirism.

Unlike most vampires, Eho doesn’t hold reverence for the time she’s walked this Earth. She prefers to live in the current age and for that hasn’t fallen prey to morose pining for a past she hated. Only her sire and her lover know the path that she’s walked, turning at the age of 29, and why she doesn’t like to talk about it. She’s a big believer in vampire superiority, believing by focusing on the future and anything beyond cooperation that the world will ultimately be a better place. Determined, focused and reverent to her sire, she's the one that keeps the Family together, unafraid of being disciplinary, but she usually leaves that for the other second. Her relationship with Sofia is being kept a secret because of Sinan Kizil, if he knew that they were involved there would be hell to pay.

Opposite to Eho, Sakina is proud of where she’s come from, and is willing and able to brag about what she’s survived to any willing to listen. Born and raised in Jamaica she lived the life of a pirate, and ran across Dimos on a stormy night, changing her at the age of 23. Instead of finding her fate at the end of the hangman’s noose, she found eternal life and she’s been capitalizing on it since. She feels that she is better fit to be the primary to Dimos, and is actively looking to usurp Eho, citing the disrespectful behavior that the older vampire shows.

Once hailed as one of the best painters of her time, Adalgisa wasn’t always known by that name. In fact it wasn’t until 200 years after her transformation at the age of 33 that she came to be true to her inner self. An unfortunate favorite of Dimos’ to sit and talk about philosophy, Adalgisa’s heart is in her art. She owns and operates an art house just outside of Baltimore and often partners with the Franchise Owner there to put on high art shows that attract a wide range of clientele. She detests the schemes of the rest of her family and would prefer to be left to her art in peace.

Lucas Green • 52 Years Old • Member of familia aut mors 5 Points | Suggested face claim is Tom Holland

The youngest member of familia aut mors and turned at the age of 23, and the one with the political dreams, Lucas has always lived a life of privilege. From a long line of politically minded farmers (and further back plantation owners), Lucas hails from Savannah and is proud of the men in his history. He fell in with Dimos at a function shortly after the Revelation, and it was the young man’s spirit that led the old philosopher to give him a chance to chase his dream eternally. Lucas is currently spearheading the vampires in senate movement, campaigning that age limits do not apply if you are undead, and stands on the platforms of his family. There’s no secret that it’s Dimos that writes the scripts to Lucas’ speeches.

As the public face of many vampire movements, they know what it's like to tip toe around publicity and hide their true selves. Bruce definitely trained all the Robins to abandon him if things got bad. He'd give them scenarios like him trapped under something in a fire, hypothermic conditions, he's too injured, and they need to get information to Lucius, and the list goes on. And to date, the only bit of training his kids have continually failed, whether in simulation or practice, is failing to leave him behind.

The problem is Buffy’s taste is absolutely atrocious but she’s right. Like look at this man he’s supposed to be some stealthy vampire guy but he’s tripping when he walks in the door. He can’t fucking stand correctly. He has social anxiety so bad he hates to talk to everybody but his girlfriends. Oh look at this other guy he’s supposed to be evil and monstrous but he’s crying to your mom about his ex and asking for marshmallows in his coco. He has one dream about a girl and that doesn’t make him think he’s just attracted to said girl, he immediately thinks he’s in love and becomes obsessed. He has to dye his hair every so often and he chooses a neon white for some reason. Oh take a look at this girl she’s supposed to be cool girl tough girl who is down and good with everything but she sits alone all the time in one of the worst parts of town. She’ll only ever tell you that she’s five by five and you or anyone else has no idea what that even means. She’ll lie about stuff that didn’t happen to sound cool, all while walking around saying she has no friends. And here’s the kicker - they all mirror each other, have a history of violent murders, look good in leather and somehow all give off pathetic wet rat and babygirl vibes at the exact same time and no one has any idea where the line is. Plus they’re all some kind of gay and in kahoots with each other.

Gravity Falls doodle dump!! Mostly Gideon. He's my favorite if you can't tell immediately, lol. I have zero time for drawing outside comms, but I had some time yesterday, while my mom and I were out and about doing errands. I had some spare printer paper on me to draw on. The first three of dipper and "canon" human bill, I actually drew when I was visiting with my cousins last week. And the last one of gideon flexing is a wip, I'm planning on making that a print. That wip sketch has been on patreon for a month or two actually :'D

But all this GF resurgence stuff has gotten me thinking about how I envision older gideon, again. I love him so much!!!!! I headcanon that he's a vampire, there's a little bit of that in here. Maybe more on that in another post??

I have this notion that vampires retain a twisted aspect of their living loves and desires, but wrenched into the same position as their unending hunger. Jonathan will love Mina, regardless of who or what he is, and that love will remain to consume him when all else is gone.

Vampire Canons | The Outcast

Uvan • 761 Years Old • The Leader of the Outcasts 10 Points | Suggested Face Claim is Michael Fassbender

An old Scottish highlander that once had a coven (turned at 45) but was pushed out of it due to being uncooperative. He now wanders the world looking to take in any vampires that have been pushed out of covens, the outcast vampires that follow Uvan’s leadership are a constant thorn in the side of the vampires within the Covens. With a bar from both familia aut mors and Eclipse’s End, Uvan is very often laughing in their faces, enjoying his life of freedom.

There are a few reasons why we would LOVE to see Uvan on Gracefully Cursed, the first one being who doesn't love a rebel??? Uvan is fighting for a break in vampiric tradition and for this he has put himself at odds with some of the most powerful vampires in the world, let alone the United States! He is one of the oldest vampire canons, and he has potential to interact with all of the covens as well as The Franchise, Human Resistance, and potentially even some of the werewolf factions!!

We would love to see some Original Outcast vampire characters! And for that reason, having Uvan to talk to and ensure that your outcast character isn't completely shunned from society is a bonus!
