I finally finished drawing Silvi's family!!

Meet the Pavlovas- a lovely family of women residing in the city of Luskan on the Sword Coast. (Lore Below <3)

Mama Pavlova (middle) is a single mother with a warm presence and good humor. She fell in love with an elven sailor and the pair had two daughters together. They enjoyed a sweet but short marriage- as he ran out on them to find his freedom on the sea. So mama rolled up her sleeves and set to work to raise her girls on her own- and to make certain that no matter how hard life was, there was still joy to find in it together. She has recently succumb to a chronic condition that limits the amount of work her body will allow, so her daughters have taken up the torch while she spends the day making quilts, scarves, jellies, and jams for Silvi to sell as wares.

Krista Pavlova (left) is the eldest daughter and primary breadwinner of the family. Beautiful and pragmatic with a shrewd intelligence, Krista took it upon herself to do what would be most lucrative for a woman of her social standing- taking clientele at a high end brothel. Her mother was vehemently against the idea but Krista insisted it was a perfectly safe and respectable line of work. She is beloved by her patrons and brings home a comfortable enough sum each week to support her and her family. She loves her little sister Silvi to pieces and takes comfort in knowing that after a truly hard day, her sister will be there to put a smile on her face.

Silvi Pavlova (right) the youngest and silliest of the family, Silvi is a high-spirited, loving girl who delights in the world around her. Due to her mother and sister being responsible for the household, Silvi's upbringing was mostly care-free in comparison. She spent her childhood running around the city, singing, dancing, and occasionally doing chores. But seeing her family struggle to make ends meet, her ambition to give them a comfortable life took hold. She spent time educating herself, practicing trade in the market place, and looking for any avenue of income to do her part. Eventually, she came up with the idea of being a traveling merchant on the road- so that her family would have one less mouth to feed AND she could send them money home. They were very hesitant at first for her to venture out on the road on her own, but seeing her determination knew that supporting her was for the best. Silvi saved up for a mule and cart, and set off on her travels not long after <3 Things were going fairly well for the 4 months on the road- until she awoke in a strange, sunless land surrounded on all sides by mist....

Fun symbolic art for my girl. Veiristasia was ripped from her happy home and thrown into hell. If only she wasn’t in a certain reincarnation cycle, maybe life wouldn’t be so awful. Barovia kinda sucks like that.

Barovia has sucked in general so far. Taking my happy sunshine girl and making her cry on the daily, at least three times a day.

I love the work of Dani Torrent SO MUCH and I did a study of one of their pieces but I made it Strahd and my paladin, Aerimil ☠️ He might have gotten a little bit seduced at dinner. Ooopsieee

I’m not gonna upload the whole thing because it’s obviously not all my work, but I am very chuffed with how the expressions came out, so enjoy this cropped version!
