it's been a little over a year playing in my curse of strahd campaign, so an updated character portrait was due!! a year later so i'll give a little lore: her name is jeanne du vergier, twilight cleric and little lycanthrope. never let the sane one in your group be 19 years old. barovia native and the last pack follower of the night mother. in a situationship with god and about to have a wonderful dinner party with the devil himself. here's to another year in barovia :3

My character named Loki for Curse of Strahd campaing. He is a paladin who made a deal with the lich Azalin Rex to kill Strahd in order to save his beloved. He is Strahd's bastard by the way. 100% Marty Stu, but I love him, cus he is very fun to play.

I commissioned @emp-roar to draw my Alek! I wanted something inspired by this piece they did of Strahd. For the wolf symbolizing Alek though I wanted something that evoked him breaking the chains of slavery, as well as something that metaphorically represented his trauma and repressed, primal rage. Fans of Berserk will see the inspiration :)

one of my favorite things to talk about when it comes to curse of strahd is literally him and rahadin. There's something so unique about how everyone on this site portrays them, and I love nothing more than to see drawings and discussion posts about them and how each dm views them. That, and how the dynamics of their relationship change with certain factors in regards to their identities. Is strahd a woman, queer/gnc. Is rahadin undead/ a vampire/ an ancient elf? How do their faiths intersect/conflict? What were the circumstances of their meeting pre-Barovia? I've seen them portrayed as dedicated brothers in arms, lovers, doomed friends, weird toxic third thing (which I adore). They're just so-man. I love these complicated old men, and I'd love to see how people portray them in their campaigns.
