look, today i was. um. inspired, okay? and i haven't tried this new pastel set of watercolours. and the cotton paper also seemed nice. and the general lilac colour pattern was appealing. and-

-i wanted things done and i did them, all right xD

i might be quite a fan of the faces that became more complex with time, but hey, what's a minion without his devil..?

P.S.: i know this one would not be visible in the feeds, but the next page in this one is graphite, water, wine red ink, and a drop of golden paint, all stashed under the cut bc CW BLOOD

weirdest tabletop experience i ever had

be me in 2022

download a bundle of tabletop games at 3 am

find a giant pdf labeled "act one"

it's a game played by only exactly three people on different levels of reality.

you also play alternate universe versions of your characters on different levels in reality

secrets in the book are written in mirror writing

the whole book is an in-universe preserved text by someone in a different universe

i am so into this game.

best thing i've ever read.

i tell all my friends about it the next day.

"sounds cool, what's it called?"

i can find no evidence of this game.

my surprise aside, re: tags added to this post in the reblogs - yup, looks like making clay/plasticine/any other 3D models of a face you normally don't see irl but use for your 2D stuff seems to be a good idea that actually works, and i know artists who also use this trick

(i still wish i were adequately skilled in 3D modelling, but alas! i am only learning; when i get the grip on ZBrush - hooo boy I AM SHARING STUFF!)
