at the end of the day it's not that you hate your job - actually, you like working, you like routine, you like feeling like an adult - it's that any time you fuck anything up, you feel like you're fucking dying.

she does everything right. graduates early, matches into the exact field she wanted, is able to enact real change while still furthering her own research. but she's also engaged by the time she's 25. the perfect guy, met at a karaoke bar while they were both dd'ing for their respective friend groups. (and you'd never believe they'd met in a bar, right!? they're so funny that way.) they have a long engagement, but that's not abnormal for their age group. not when they're both so career-oriented. they bought a house together, though babies will have to wait a bit longer. at least until she's out of residency. but she definitely still wants them! and to be married, too! why wouldn't she? she's not a cliche. a cliche would be marrying their highschool sweetheart. she's working on the perfect life :)
