need an uncut version of tua season 4 thats actually the full 10 episode length it most likely was before all those important scenes got deleted so bad. like im assuming it will still be just as horrific of a season because lila and five happen either way but at least if they released an uncut edition it would actually make some level of SENSE. like who thought it was a good idea to cut out the start and end of klaus's character arc this season but keep the middle?????

Yes I am desperately clinging to the rat grinders being normal jackass teens and the dead god being an unnamed goddess/nightmare king situation more than an evil world destroying force, but what if WHAT IF part of the reason they’re trying to bring the god back is because of the trick it pulled with the anti-revive spell on Lucy’s ribs. Which must also be what stopped her from going to the afterlife of her Goddess. What IF the only way to break the anti-revive spell is to make the dead god’s name knowable to mortals again, which can only happen if the god is brought back. The god possessed Lucy, it didn’t work, so it possessed her friends to kill her and trap her ghost in purgatory with a curse, a curse that can only be broken if the god is brought back. Because the Ratgrinders ARE actually friends and DO want Lucy back, the god knew this would force their hand and make them bring it back. Arthur Augfort clearly has NO problem straight up murdering innocent good people and trapping them in hell for the sake of bringing students back (Gorgug), so The Ratgrinders are fully justified in believing they won’t get kicked out of school and still get good grades and escape jail even with the murders for Lucy if whatever god their reviving doesn’t destroy the world. And obviously this god being ‘brought back’ is tied to Cassandra being brought back, so of COURSE Kristen and The Bad Kids would be on their radar.

Just started the 5th ep of tua s4 and idk if this is controversial for some but I just came to here to say i do NOT support five x lila!!!! can writers please stop going "well, if 2 people spend an extended amount of time with just each other, OF COURSE they'll fall in love"!!!! lila is still married and also an adult!!! five is aroace and in a minor's body (or close to, idk his exact age atp)!!!

What bothers me about the Luther thing is that it doesn't even make sense for him to get back the monkey body after he took the marigold? Because it wasn't a consequence of his powers ??? It happened years later ?!?? But they still gave him that body back and made it a joke ?

He hated his body deeply. He was terrified of people finding out what happened to him.. and now he just walks around in his stripper underwear and goes "oops" when people see him and make comments? It would be great if it was an actual character development moment but it was not? It was just a way to make cheap joke abt how hairy he was ??

You have no idea how much i wish Hilbert could have lived to see that Cutter was going to use the decima virus to literally wipe out the entire world if the aliens didnt cooperate.

Like. I feel like his confidence in his work is already shaken after how bad this mission has gone, with Lovelace coming back and the si-5 showing up and knowing that Cutter was finally on the edge of his rope wrt Hilbert’s work. But if anything were to make him crack after decades of work, it would have to be that. Probably the mix of that with the knowledge that Eiffel was only getting better post-cryo bc of the Lovelace blood transfusion. Not even decima.

Just. I want to see him finally realize just how much of a lost cause the decima project is. I want to see him make it to earth and have to live with himself with decades of his life wasted and dozens of people hes hurt on his conscious. I want to see what happens when a guy like that does everything he has done and then has to keep living with it.

I think a post-canon Hilbert and Eiffel dynamic would be really fascinating. Eiffel having someone to share starting at ground zero with, even if Hilbert is more aware of his own situation than Eiffel. And Eiffel being one of the few people in canon who i think has outwardly expressed that he thinks Hilbert is changing (or wants him to,) would make it just. Idk. Interesting to consider.

Executive Cucumber's thoughts on the Bad Batch episode 3×08 (spoilers after the cut)

Forgive me if these thoughts are less coherent than usually, I'm pretty freaking tired atm. Thoughts are as much in order as I can manage.

Firstly, this episode was a much needed, lower emotionally charged break from the last...seven episodes of the season. The thing about stories is that they can't be running at warp 9 the entire time. It will burn your audience out. Heck, I'm at a lower energy, transitiatory part of my long fic. So yeah, this episode didn't cause the emotional damage and stress that the last 7 did, but that's a good thing.

Crosshair's face when Omega says 'liberator of ancient wonders' I love him.

Okay, I know that a lot of people are upset about Phee not being more emotional about Tech. I've got a few thoughts on that. My expectations going into the scene with her was that she wasn't going to be mentioning Tech. So when she did, I was really happy. She doesn't need to bring him up in the conversation, but she does.

So let's dive a little deeper into this. There are only two people who have brought up Tech without any prompting so far: Echo and Phee. Omega only mentions him when it's a direct answer to Crosshair's question. Hunter, Crosshair, and Wrecker have not mentioned him once by name. Now, I think this is because Echo and Phee have both known loss and know better how to handle it. The rest of the Batch hasn't, before Tech. We have watched practically all of Echo's loss, but not Phee's. However, we know that Pabu is a place for refugees, which Phee likely is. She's lost at least a home, if not family and friends. Add on top of that Phee is just in general a world wide person, and I think we can assume that she's someone who's got a more healthy way of processing grief than our emotionally stunted soldiers.

Something that you do with people that you've loved and lost is remember them. That's what I see Phee doing here. She's managed to process her grief in the last 4 months, and she's keeping the memory of someone she cared about alive by mentioning him in conversation.

So yeah. I liked that scene and it warmed my Tech/Phee loving heart.

Thoughts about Space Everglades:

I really loved Wrecker this episode. He really got to shine. He has the most banter with Fennec, he gets to do his demo thing, he freaking curb stomps space alligators, and he's the MVP in getting the bug man. It was really nice. Also, 'YOU HEARD ME!!!!' Let Wrecker go feral.

Bro, I really liked the bar music. I like seeing more of the music that plays in universe.

Wrecker and Hunter are definitely having flashbacks to Cid this entire episode. Except Fennec gives them more intel.

Fennec is a delight as always.

My prediction to who she's selling them out to? Ventress. And I don't think Ventress' intentions are bad.

So yeah, a solid episode! I'm honestly probably going to leave a lot of the star wars subreddits just to avoid everyone and their dog complaining about filler. Which this was NOT.

And as the next episode is called the Harbinger, I feel like this might be one of our last breaths before the plunge and everything goes sideways.

obx season 4 spoilers!!

Losing jj like that was devastating. He made it, he had everything he wanted, the love of his life, his friends turned family. He gave up the opportunity to live like a king, to never worry about his home being taken from him again or going hungry, and he gave it up happily because he he made the realization that he already had everything he could ever wish for and more than he dreamed possible, and he lost it all just as quickly.
