sirius was never the same after azkaban tbh. but nobody had seen him for long enough in many years to notice.

"but what about remus!" no. thats the worst part. they werent rlly friends or lovers anymore, they didnt know eachother intimately.

remus forgot that sirius had a birthmark on the lower of his back, in the shape of almost a star. one that he used to constantly run his fingers over to remind sirius im here.

in turn, sirius forgot that remus had a batch of scars on his left knee from when he fell into a rose bush in first year. these scars mattered so much to him, because they were some of the few that arent caused by moony.

they didnt know eachother any farther then names anymore. and thats what war was made to do.

The sun had long since set, leaving the Bay in utter darkness. Rain pitter-pattered on the inn roof, giving a gentle ambiance to a strangely calm night. The tiny room Harper and Noha had crammed themselves into was long empty, the patrons snoozing in their beds.

‘Well, not all of them,’ Noha thought, taking their brown hair from out of its bun and shaking it about. They tsk-ed at the sound of a couple having a… late night in the room two doors over, and their ears flicked in annoyance. ‘Maybe if I slam a knife into the wall it’ll shut them up…’
