Futurama LGBT

Good news Everyone! I thought about Futurama characters' Sexualities and LGBT Identities! Oh my yes!

Starting off with Bender. He is pansexual. He has shown attraction to both female humans (Amy, Lucy Liu’s Head), female robots (Anglene, Bella, Lisa), male robots (Calculon), arguably genderless machines (Bev, Planet Express Ship) and whatever his weird thing with Fry is. I think that he is polyamorous also but hasn’t fully accepted it/realized there is a term for it. He essentially lives an extremely hedonistic life and doesn't want to put too many labels on it. Him and Fry have also definitely experimented together.

Leela: Straight, but willing to experiment if it makes those she loves happy.

Professor Farnsworth will do anyone and anything. He has shown attraction to Zoidberg, Bender, Mom, and other random things, inventions, animals, clones, and everything in between.

Zoidberg: His species doesn’t experience attraction the same way we do. I think that we have no way of truly understanding what makes that wacky lobster tick. He’s been open to men (President Truman, Fry, Bender, Hermes, Farnsworth (Although under an aphrodisiac)), women (Zindy, Marianne, Jellyfish Nurse Lady, etc). I think he would be open to anything, machines, clams, oysters, clones, etc.

Hermes: Bisexual, Has probably done stuff while high and has fooled around with Zoidberg. In fact him and Zoidberg definitely hook up occasionally while Zoidberg views him as a genuine relationship, Hermes views him as his dirty shameful secret. I think LaBarbara probably knows but is also fooling around with Barbados Slim so doesn’t need to call him out on it.

Amy: Straight, but has experimented with other people/things and if other people are hooking up she doesn’t care who she ends up with.

Fry: Doesn’t give a dang.

Thanks so much! I got pretty much every shot of fem Fry from the episode, but she was really treated like a background character so not all the shots are that great. I'd also be happy to make more of Zapp/Fry I just couldn't find much. If you have a reference to an episode with some good stuff feel free to request some more and I'll see what I can do.
