I find laughable irony in her last name btw...only the female flesh can get people this heated. Although I do recall Prince in this little number here...

It takes a lot to get more risqué than that? Why are people exhibitionists? Pleasure, shock, joy, whatever the case, it is NOT new. Its many permutations are delightful, as one can ponder on what's next? Who shall outcensor Censori?

The last time that I saw a music video that got me to consider what is feminism was Christina Aguillera's Dirty.

Knowing that that was twenty-three years ago alone is staggering. I remember doing a poll with both men and women about Dirty back then. The girls had lots to say about the 'shock' value and all the men loved it to distraction.

The fact that Nessa is able to shock in this day and age to me is a feat in itself! That is not easy to do. Perhaps it is me? I am just an old fuddy duddy now. But in my humble opinion, if those who are tasked with the role of creating cultural history do not advance or push its boundaries, then what is the point of it?

Some shock value has its purpose.It gives the compass a location. It promotes discussion about taste and body politics, relationships between the sexes and the very festival of Carnival itself.

Yuh 'feel it!'

I had old school training from Ms Archibald and Ms French at John D Technical about designing with balance, good use of negative spacing etc. You cannot just plunk a new 3D image on an old traditionally illustrated image and call that design. The addition of the pan on the coat of arms needs to be thought through really well. I am hoping that what we are seeing is not the real thing.
