the other evening Annette and I walked around the UNC campus and I took the opportunity to immerse my class ring in the water of the Old Well (an old ritual), then I took a few commemorative shots... the Old Well is a favorite subject of mine... I had to dodge a crowd of RA's training for the incoming academic year, but got a nice shot at an angle I've never tried before... this one's hanging in my home now...

I’m directing a one-act for a theatre class I TA and one of the lines is “maybe we should start a Facebook page or something. Or a MySpace” “really? MySpace? Does that still exist?” And the kids thought that Facebook and MySpace were too out of date so we changed them to Instagram and tumblr, respectively.

Later, while performing, our teacher asks whether or not Tumblr does actually still exist to which I exclaim, “Yes!! I’m on it!!” And one of the students responds “You’re the only one”.

Really?
