Started on my rewatch of the 10th Kingdom because I think about it quite a lot considering I haven't seen it for 20 odd years and tumblr reminded me that I forgot almost everything about it and it deserves all my attention. So yes. Episode 1. Here are my 💫thoughts💫

-First off the opening credits did not need to go this hard. Belter of a tune from Miriam Stockley that I remember burning onto about 3 CDs for my car back when that was a thing. What business did they have doing this straight off the bat

-"All I need is a man" Virginia? Sis? Please no.

-Okay I absolutely forgot about Prince Wendell as a character. How dare past me.

-Diane Wiest! Diane Wiest! Diane Wiest!

-"I guess you get to a certain age and you realise that nothing exciting is ever going to happen to you" I just melted half an easter egg down into some milk to make an extra fancy hot chocolate so YMMV I guess girl

-10 mins in and a 30 second interaction with Wolf and this really explains a lot of my AO3 bookmarks

-Okay but walking the stray dog straight into the commercial kitchen of your work? I know this is a fantasy series but there's a limit

-I think Wolf getting distracted by food is probably the most relatable content I've ever seen

-Okay no but wait. Where did the magic bean come from? I don't remember it making as little sense as this. But also I was 10 so...🤷‍♀️

-Currently really enjoying the trolls.

-Yeah starting to remember that Virginia's Dad was consistentlythe worst. You got six wishes and you went straight for "make my boss my slave" with your first wish.

-Everyone everytime Tony makes a wish or does anything ever:

-Wait wait wait. What. This is a Hallmark miniseries. I do not remember it going this hard.

-That's a tattoo. It says "Troll Toy". Lighthearted fantasy romp through enchanted kingdoms and you're coming at me with this?

-Ed O'Neill really been playing a Dad on TV for 20 years huh.

-The world building happening here is really some shit that I definitely didn't appreciate thinking back on it. So many little details that went way way wayyyy over my head as a child.

Marvel Reveals New Comics for December 2019

Marvel revealed via Pull List some new comics coming out in December 2019.

First off is Incoming #1 from writers Al Ewing, Dan Slott, Chip Zdarsky, kelly Thompson, Greg Pak, Eve L. Ewing, Matt Rosenberg, Ed Brisson, Saladin Ahmed, Tini Howard, Jonathan Hickman, Donny Cates, and Jason Aaron and artists Humberto Ramos, Jim Cheung, and more. The cover is by Patrick Gleason.

Incoming! starts with a murder that will lead to a cosmic event. The series features the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Champions, Agents of Atlas, Valkyrie, Immortal Hulk, Jessica Jones, Venom, Ghost Rider, Masked Rider, and more. So take a good look at the cover and let’s all speculate who’s dead.

Doctor Strange: Surgeon Supreme #1 hails from writer Mark Waid and artist Kev Walker with a cover by Phil Noto.

Doctor Strange: Surgeon Supreme #1 finds Doctor Strange torn between his duties as the Sorcerer Supreme or using his newly healed hands to heal people as a surgeon once again.

Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider #1 hails from writers Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum and Donny Cates and artists Scott Hepburn and Geoff Shaw with a cover by Scott Hepburn.

Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider #1 finds future Frank Castle allowing himself to be thrown into an intergalactic prison with the galaxy’s worst criminals.  The issue also features a new short story by Cates and Shaw.

Marvel’s Avengers: Iron Man #1 is from writer Jim Zub and artist Paco Diaz with a cover by Stonehouse.

Marvel’s Avengers: Iron Man #1 is a prequel to Marvel’s Avengers, the video game releasing in 2020. The Avengers are going up against the Lethal Legion, but Tony Stark has discovered that his enemies have co-oped his technology for their own purposes.

Spider-Ham #1 is by writer Zeb Wells and artist Will Robson with a cover by Wendell Dalit. 

Spider-Ham will pair up Peter Porker and Peter Parker as they jump through time.
