every once in a while this post will get the odd note or two from people presumably deciding to watch it, so heres a year later reblog of my Propaganda Post™️ for one of my fave netflix comedy shows of all time. if youre a fan of how dimension 20 merges comedy with meaningful story moments and commentary, (or if you just like lou wilson lol) youll probably like this show, and it has THE most accurate portrayal of social media ive seen which is just so hard for so many shows to get right.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THE PROPAGANDA IS WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i actually watched american vandal before i watched d20 so when i was rewatching it and saw Lou i was like HUH

for anyone who doesn't know, american vandal is a comedy mockumentary series on netflix that's meant to parody true crime documentaries, but it instead focuses on a high school and a student who's wrongfully accused of a prank. Here's the trailer to get a sense of the vibe.

it's so funny but its SO good i feel like most shows can never accurately portray teenagers but this show GETS IT, social media and all, and it even touches on things like how the public school system unfairly judges students, plus the inherent moral complications that comes with true crime.

Also, Christa Carlyle is Kipperlilly. Love those blonde class presidents who constantly post about unfairness and inequality at school.
