Never did I think Stalag Luft III would become the ultimate romantic destination yet here we are

DEADASS ME EITHER. when i started writing for the Silver Bullets crew, i was really just working out how the OCs fit in, and who worked where — all that sort of stuff. but now, we’re in a writing period where all these sorts of connections are coming to a head (mainly, kennedy x bucky and annie x brady lmao - and ofc carrie x dougie and judy x rosie are back in thorpe abbotts but more on them later haha) and so things in the writing are now just … happening.

and of course, i would imagine they’d have to take certain precautions with even just how much of that they can express to each other in times they are in, especially if they’re constantly surrounded by people in the bunk house or in other areas. like, obviously they have all those feelings, but they’re also trying to survive, so it’s a whole mix of things going on that puts even more of a heightened ‘want to survive because of the human condition’ vibe to it and the ‘want to survive because i love this person’ also therefore, has a massive impact and role. i think a dynamic like that makes it more interesting as well, considering the situation!

i think especially considering kennedy x bucky — neither of them really ever thought of those moments back at thorpe abbotts, it was more just for some fun, some light-hearted flirting (but when is it ever really light-hearted in their situations), but now, suddenly, they’re in this camp and are spending day in and day out together, trying to survive, trying to keep people safe and alive and kennedy is realizing all these pent-up emotions that she was *very* much trying to suppress. (i really could get into it with this haha)

PLUS — you have bucky who is (1) a major and (2) a leader so he’s automatically in the mindset of, we have to protect the Silver Bullets women because they know how war is and what it means to be the enemy, so kennedy’s seeing him in this new light where he’s actually taking that care and stance moving forward and … she feels safe with those measures he’s set. it’s just a LOT of feelings. and i love it!

and there ofc there’s annie and brady with whom, are also reaching this peak in their connection, faster than kennedy and bucky though, and we’re seeing it in each piece. where it’s an obvious bit of ‘they don’t want to make the move and ruin everything but they could die any day so why not?’ sort of thing going on here. and we’ll see this continually played out as we go on here :)
