Season 2 isn't canon HOWEVER I cannot exaggerate how excited I was when I first saw the ending and realized that demon!Ciel meant Sebaciel for eternity. I feel like we don't talk about that enough. It may be essentially AU fanfic at this point, but it's officially distributed AU fanfic that feeds Sebaciel fans so well.

Never getting over Fulcrum being a project manager...

Idk why, but something about that is so funny to me. Not just because the title of "project manager" is inherently kinda funny for a Decepticon, but also because-

1. It's vague sounding and hard to explain irl because it technically exists in multiple fields, like healthcare or manufacturing, which surely translates into canon in some way.

2. In canon, it's simultaneously a really mundane, innocuous sounding job, yet it's also a super morally awful position to reside over depending on the context. (*cough* forced colonization and cyberforming *cough*)

And 3. It solidifies the fact that behind all the surface level militaristic work we get with both the Decepticons and Autobots, there's also Cons and Bots with "normal" jobs in both factions.

Like, sure yeah we get scientists and doctors, engineers and programmers, but usually in big important or warfront positions. (For plot reasons, understandably.) But it's also really funny and interesting to think of those that worked background positions, or minor jobs.

Like an Autobot working in their equivalent of an HR department, or a Decepticon who runs one of their outpost's or starship's kitchens.

Just all the pre-war jobs that didn't just disappear with the war, but instead evolved to exist within the factions.

It's particularly funny with the Decepticons though, because it could be a super mundane job or situation, but because it's them, it has to have an air of ~e v i l~ to it, either legitimately and/or merely for the vibes, like Tarn's "performance reviews".

“Hmm, I don’t think so,” Tommy scolded him gently, removing his hands entirely. “No touching, baby boy, you’ll be patient and wait until I’m done with you.”

“Tommyyyy,” Buck groaned, pulling his hands back and pressing them over his eyes instead.

“Try again,” Tommy said, still not touching him, and Buck froze, thinking.

He lowered his hands again, staring up at Tommy, looming tall and strong above him, looking at him like he was a revelation.

“Please, daddy?” He breathed, and was rewarded immediately by Tommy’s body pressing him down into the mattress, claiming his lips in a searing kiss.

ok but im rly into the idea of till having a new era that brings the light back to his eyes and drives him forward if he gets to escape the arena. idk where he'd go from there but i want to see ivans sacrifice both haunt him and drive him to actually live his damn life after being the captured bird refusing freedom cause of mizi. once he knows she's alive with the resistance he might be able to actually experience other things and widen his world and if that happens and he puts his personal sense of rebellion towards the human cause OR settles into finding some other way to feel fulfilment that isn't a single person that could be deeply fascinating to me i think

I think regardless of the situation red would be really stressed out by being given gifts if he's expected to open and react to them in front of others. He has the flat affect of all time and the added stress of knowing people want him to react a certain way just makes it worse.

Many ppl without flat affect already struggle to seem excited enough about things they're given but for someone like red who doesn't really outwardly react to most things it's truly dreadful. He can't stand the entire interaction of being expected to react a certain way knowing people will and often do see him as rude when he doesn't.

The only people he doesn't feel horrifically stressed about this around are like. His mom and green and leaf. Because they are familiar enough with him and know what kind of things he likes and don't make him feel so pressured to behave a certain way.

I think there would be some other ppl who sort of understand and try not to make him feel pressed about these things but red is a bit reclusive by nature so even then he can only feel totally comfortable around a few people. He sees and appreciates the effort unfortunately this is just his cross to bear.
