I am so mentally ill over Spinjitzu family and how FSM failed but Lloyd succeeded, and why that was.

Like, listen, FSM was a child soldier destined to be something great, to be the balance between the Oni and the Dragon, but FSM was born as two separate entities, even if one was just a mere shadow, and then, Garm and Wu were supposed to be the balance, but they were also born as two, because there was something missing, a common ground for the two sides to grab onto and make peace.

Then, Lloyd happened, he was born as a singular entity. Why was that?

You see, he was now different from the previous generations, he was part human, a mortal. Humanity is morally grey by default, not really going to either side, they created and destroyed equally. Lloyd holding the DNA of mortals gave the common ground needed for creation and destruction to properly coexist in this cycle of life.

His mortal side was what was needed for success, for the balance to truly be.

Imagine how Lloyd feels after continuing a cycle he tried breaking.

Imagine how he’ll feel when he sees Morro, someone who was a victim to this cycle much more than anyone else, again.

How does Lloyd feel, knowing he has taken the place of the Fsm, only able to watch as his two students split apart, one determined to do anything to achieve what they want, and the other hopeless as they lose one of the only solid things they had for such a long time through the consequences of their own actions?

How does he feel when he sees Wu in Sora and Garmadon in Arin? A sick play imitating the story he has heard a thousand times, of a siblings trust having broken as the other faces consequences of an actions they had no ill intentions in doing?

How does he handle the curling guilt and the regret and horror and disgust when all he sees is the face of a ghost as his student leaves him in a fit of rage? How does he deal with knowing exactly how his uncle felt when his own first student left due to his own poor communication?

Does he wonder if the Fsm, his grandfather, felt the same when Garmadon left to go join Chen? Or did the man not care, or did he also feel a weight of horror hugging him like a forgotten nightmare from childhood?

How do you cope knowing you only continued the cycle? How do you fix it when the previous generation couldn’t?

How can Lloyd comfort Sora as she sobs at night and hope for Wu to be in one piece again and hear his siblings doing their best and have his other students to comfort and feel the weight of the world carry him down again?

No Lloyd avoiding your problems and acting like everything is okay doesn’t mean it is, therapy is something i can pay for if its you.

If the symbols mean the Source Dragons, and one is calling Lloyd, "One of mine" does that mean we finally may have info on the specific Dragon and Oni that had FSM?

I mean, we as a fandom don't look at that very much.........

BUT WHAT IF?!?!?!? Lloyd, Garmadon and Wu are descended from a Source Dragon?!?!?!?! Or is it "one of mine," because Energy means Life?

So lately I've been seeing a lot of fanart of lloyd with long hair and the more I think about it the better it is!?

Something that's been repeatedly established about lloyd is the similarities he's had to his father and while its mainly focused on personality it's clear they look alike as well. I mean garmadon and lloyd have the same haircut and it's a hair cut lloyd has for a good chunk of the show making him look really similar to young garmadon because of it. It has also been established that lloyd hates the idea of being like his dad and even gets terrified when he sees his oni form in his reflection because of that fear, which connects it back into his appearance.

This leads me to believe that he'd want to look completely different so he wouldn't have to see his worst fear every time he looks in the mirror. Growing out his hair is an Easy way to do that and it can tie back to his days at darkleys where he presumably got his hair cut the same way every time and didn't have much of a choice considering all the boys got either the same or a very similar haircut.

Lloyd growing it out long goes against both his past at darkleys and his resemblance to his father. This also makes him look more like his mother as a result and while a lot of people hate misako in this Fandom I think the relationship between her and lloyd has a lot of potential and connecting lloyd to his mother's side of the family is something I really wanted to see.

Like imagine misako braiding lloyds hair for him just like the way her mother taught her how too. They quietly talk and catch up with eachother about misako's latest exploration or lloyds new training regimen. It ends up becoming a routine for them every time they get reunited. Because hair holds memories and they want to hold the ones they make together close.

He'll even look more like the FSM!!

Anyways long rant but long-haired lloyd supremacy. Rather it's shoulder length and well kept or absurdly long like jinx's hair from arcane is it will always be famous in my heart.

Zane: Not having a clear nationality this cutie can be how he wants but I mostly hc them as a person poc

Pixal: The same as Zane but I see her Dad Cyrus as south Korean

Vania: Tibetan/Nepali

Benthomaar: As much as I love him I really don't have a specific hc for him, I think he would be from the same zones where lemon sharks are!

(the Italians ones are a bit of a meme, because I'm Italian and sometimes I joke about Italian stereotypes, for example: Kai favourite football team is the Neapolitan one lol)

I headcanon that the FSM putted some kind of mechanics in the humans to identify what is not human. But, well, he and his family are not really humans themselves! So plain mortals can't see their faces and also see some kind of halo on them, to symbolize their "divine" status (none of them knows about it tho).

But there are exceptions:

-Kids before puberty can see them clearly;

-People who have been in contact with supernatural/magical things for a really long time;

-And, the most rare, people who naturally can see them for all their life;

FSM: Elaborate.

Lloyd: Like pirouettes and fouettés? Because Cole taught me how to do them and they’re really fun.

FSM, sighing: Yes, I can do those and I’m rather good at them.

Lloyd, delighted: This is the best day of my life!

Lloyd: So what was my dad like as a child?

FSM: He was a lot nicer than you’d think. Quite a lovely child, even after the venom. The venom didn’t really properly kick in until his late teens you know.

FSM: Now Wu on the other hand.

Lloyd: So if you’re half Oni and half dragon why do you look human?

FSM: Because Oni are shapeshifters and I didn’t want to spend the entire time you were here bending over to look at you and end up myself back pain.

Lloyd: Why would be you be bending over?

FSM: Because I’m 10’6.

Lloyd: What?! Why am I short then?

FSM: I don’t know but you certainly didn’t get it from me.

Lloyd: So why'd you have to divid the continent in two anyway

FSM: It seemed like a good idea at the time. Besides it worked didn't it?
