I think it'd be pretty cool if the FSM was treated a bit more like religion. Like he's kinda worshiped as God and the person who created the world but some people don't believe he's real. It probably wouldn't work in the show cause of how well known Wu and Garm are but I think it would work a bit better in the movie verse if you take out some of the Garm stuff and make him more like a scary legend like the devil.

And I think it would be fuckin hilarious if one of the non believers run into like Lloyd or Morro and they say the don't believe in the fsm and they just. Fuckin laugh their asses off. The non believer has no idea what's going on meanwhile to the cousins this is the funniest shit in the world cause THATS THEIR GRANDPA. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT THINK GRAMPS IS REAL???

I am so mentally ill over Spinjitzu family and how FSM failed but Lloyd succeeded, and why that was.

Like, listen, FSM was a child soldier destined to be something great, to be the balance between the Oni and the Dragon, but FSM was born as two separate entities, even if one was just a mere shadow, and then, Garm and Wu were supposed to be the balance, but they were also born as two, because there was something missing, a common ground for the two sides to grab onto and make peace.

Then, Lloyd happened, he was born as a singular entity. Why was that?

You see, he was now different from the previous generations, he was part human, a mortal. Humanity is morally grey by default, not really going to either side, they created and destroyed equally. Lloyd holding the DNA of mortals gave the common ground needed for creation and destruction to properly coexist in this cycle of life.

His mortal side was what was needed for success, for the balance to truly be.

The first spinjitzu master and his little family

So lately I've been seeing a lot of fanart of lloyd with long hair and the more I think about it the better it is!?

Something that's been repeatedly established about lloyd is the similarities he's had to his father and while its mainly focused on personality it's clear they look alike as well. I mean garmadon and lloyd have the same haircut and it's a hair cut lloyd has for a good chunk of the show making him look really similar to young garmadon because of it. It has also been established that lloyd hates the idea of being like his dad and even gets terrified when he sees his oni form in his reflection because of that fear, which connects it back into his appearance.

This leads me to believe that he'd want to look completely different so he wouldn't have to see his worst fear every time he looks in the mirror. Growing out his hair is an Easy way to do that and it can tie back to his days at darkleys where he presumably got his hair cut the same way every time and didn't have much of a choice considering all the boys got either the same or a very similar haircut.

Lloyd growing it out long goes against both his past at darkleys and his resemblance to his father. This also makes him look more like his mother as a result and while a lot of people hate misako in this Fandom I think the relationship between her and lloyd has a lot of potential and connecting lloyd to his mother's side of the family is something I really wanted to see.

Like imagine misako braiding lloyds hair for him just like the way her mother taught her how too. They quietly talk and catch up with eachother about misako's latest exploration or lloyds new training regimen. It ends up becoming a routine for them every time they get reunited. Because hair holds memories and they want to hold the ones they make together close.

He'll even look more like the FSM!!

Anyways long rant but long-haired lloyd supremacy. Rather it's shoulder length and well kept or absurdly long like jinx's hair from arcane is it will always be famous in my heart.

Oh FSM, my beloved flawed (not very) ultimate creator, you will always be famous I mean he created multiple realms, started the main martial art and philosophical doctrine of Ninjago and then left his mortal body to bring the brightest minds of that world to his pocket afterlife. He's a great deity who has protected the world from evil forces all his life as a mortal. He's patient and kind. But being a great deity didn't make him a great human being. His neutral position didn't stop him from leaning to the dragons' side. His generosity didn't prevent... whatever the Nineko situation was. His love for his sons makes the fact that he harmed their mental health more than anything even worse. His divinity and enlightenment made him blind to many human aspects of life, and the show neither criticizes nor defends him for that? Cool. Makes me think about him as a concept and as a person even more.

The curse of the first student is even worse when you realise all three of them perceived their student as their child in one way or another and the student perceived their mentor as some level of father figure ☹️

you know there's something in how oni traditionally inhabited mountains and abandoned fortresses, and then where the FSM and the ninja chose to live.

the FSM created his home on top of one of the highest mountains in ninjago, high above the clouds. maybe something about it felt nostalgic, so much like the mountains his oni mother had raised him on, and where his dragon father would make covert visits to him. maybe something about it felt safe.

maybe something about the destiny's bounty, a once great ship being made home again, felt right to wu. maybe something in the temple of airjitzu, abandoned and left to rot for so long, felt like home to wu and lloyd. perhaps the monastery, perched upon that very same mountain, felt like a homecoming to wu and lloyd for so many reasons.

maybe when garmadon stepped foot on the mountain for the first time in years, ready to protect instead of harm, ready to build instead of destroy, he felt an odd sense of peace.
