Genuinely the best part of the I, TARDIS book was the many nicknames she gave The Doctor's companions!

Feng Xin and Mu Qing
feng xin and mu qing who spent their teenage years together, in constant proximity, because they were both close to someone else
feng xin and mu qing watching their nation collapse, their home ruined, their kingdom dissapear
feng xin and mu qing losing their friend, first losing him emotionally by not being able to understand what's going on and then literally losing him as he vanished for 800 years
feng xin and mu qing both ascending to godhood, constantly seeing each other as they co-ruled(?) the same area
feng xin who never wanted to become a god, who didn't know what he was if he isn't a bodyguard to the royal family, who was abandoned by the woman he loved, never forgiving himself for leaving and losing xie lian
mu qing who always wanted to ascend, who knew he had the potential to but was constantly overshadowed and wanted to desperately to prove he was not a servant to be discarded, who still never forgave himself for leaving when his friends needed him. for coming back too late
and so they take it out on each other. 800 years of pent up frustration, guilt and misery and they take it out on each other because really, who else can they take it out on? who else knows xie lian? who else rememberes xianle and its' days of glory?
yes, they're constantly at each others throats. yes, they dislike each other.
no, they don't hate each other. how can they? they're all each other has and it's been that way for 800 years
can you really hate someone when he's the only contsant thing in your long immortal life as the world shifts around you? happy and unpleasant memories, they're the only ones who know. the only ones who remember
is this anything

Personally, I think the real reason people keep insisting MDZS is told from WWX's POV, even though they admit it's third person omniscient, is because JC is addressed by his birth name 'Jiang Cheng' throughout the entire novel and not his courtesy name. So people wrongly assume it must be from WWX's perspective...
Well, those that cling to such a take aren't going to like the real answer to this... But that's still not the case. If it were from WWX's perspective, JYL would be addressed as 'Shijie', LWJ would be 'Lan Zhan' and JFM would be 'Jiang-shushu' etc. JC is addressed by his birth name throughout the novel because even the narrator thinks he is a clown.
Sorry, but that's the reason. They do not think he deserves respect, just as the rest of the cultivation world doesn't either. If you actually look at the text, you'll notice behind his back, nearly everyone calls JC by his birth name out of disrespect - it's literally in the first few chapters for all to see. He's rarely called by his courtesy name by anyone other than LWJ, WWX when he's pissed and later by JGY and XY in the extras. That's it. It's a show of disrespect throughout the novel and the narrator shows the same. JC isn't called 'Sandu Shengshou' for nothing you know, it's a running theme of disrespect for a character that doesn't deserve much if any at all.

So just to recap: Aizawa
1. Buys ugly clothes for his daughter
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Is subsequently forbidden (presumably by his husband) from buying her anymore gifts
Tumblr media
3. So his workaround for that is to send his son to get things for her instead

Post-two hats where Loop is convinced to travel with the party but is confronted with the realization that many of their abilities have detoriated from being in the loops for so long.
Walking on uneven surfaces. Hunting for food. Foraging for berries. Setting up a tent. Starting a campfire. And in the deepest of ironies, navigating by the stars. All things Siffrin now struggles with and Loop fails at miserably.
They were trapped in the loops for all of Siffrin's time as well as the many more loops they went through trying to kill the King. What feels like a vague recollection to Siffrin is another life for Loop. Those experiences with the party, beloved and useful, traveling across Vaugarde, are more distant than a dream of yesteryear. The memories of how they even gained those skills in the first place are completely gone.
It's like Loop's forgotten how to be a person. Siffrin's shadow, who slows down everyone with unsteady steps and stumbles. Siffrin's ghost, who stands uselessly as the others set up camp, desperately watching to see if they could remember anything. Siffrin's doll, only good at laying still while being clutched through the night, silent as familiar nightmares overtake them.
Loop wants to pull themselves from Siffrin's embrace. Loop wants to leave the tent, to linger in the night air and stare up at the night sky, but they don't. The stars would only remain as meaningless as the night before, as meaningless as they are now.

Ponyboy’s the kind of guy to set a movie so that a certain line is said at midnight. Curly’s the kind of guy to change the channel right as the clock hits twelve cause he’s bored.

According to an illustration from the 1985 Doctor Who Cookbook, the Third Doctor was able to gain strength by eating spinach like Popeye, though judging by the question marks above his head, he is as surprised as we are about this information.
Tumblr media
Also, thanks to TV Comic, Popeye has crossed over with Doctor Who.

(The Avengers refer to the British TV show, and not Marvel.)
