You reblogginh TWSB is funny for me because I was reading the manhwa in my totally not piracy website and just assumed like most of these it was one of those fun niche gem stories I was casually enjoying and though was cute and??? Apparently??? It has??? A fandom??? It’s actually relatively popular??? What???

So yeah thanks for helping me learn my casual little read apparently is in an entirely different tier than my other casual reads, never would’ve known otherwise because usually when I read these stories there is nothing on tumblr for me to sink my teeth into, so yay pretty fanart and a couple fics for me!!

I picked it up because tiktok (derogatory) tossed the protagonist there in a video with Cale from Trash of the Count’s family and Han Yoojin from S-Classes that I raised, so I decided to check it out! I don’t think there was actually a living breathing fandom for it either!!! So that’s really great!!!

i've only read the translated chapters of twsb so far and the little glimpses of spoilers i am getting from fanarts are killing me. does jesse go back to his own world at the end?? i want him to meet his family again but also that would break me.

i wanna know the spoilers but i also don't :(

Like. It kinda has. Its big in the korean Twitter and there's some famous non korean artists there too. But here on tumblr? There's barely any posts, especially about chapters that arent translated and in ao3 theres very few fics. The fanarts are either only from 1 popular artists and there's only 3? 5? Other fanarts that arent made by them.

Theres no analysis posts or many memes or even incorrect quotes. For me the fandom is just like me, some mutuals who once posted about twsb in the past, one person with the cedjess url and that popular artist/writer/person who carries the fandom and is a walking propaganda spreader (i love them and i appreciate their work)

It's getting a lil better. Im im this fandom since it was barely popular on twt and there weren't any fic at all or fanarts. So like i should be greatful. But still.....its too small....

(Also bc of that i still half want to change my url to cedyesechris and go full mode on spreading propaganda. Unfortunately, im too attached to my url....)

(Anyways my dream is that it becomes big as orv internationally <3 like. Its on par with orv. Its just that good. A masterpiece. It deserves more recognition)

Coincidentally, and to my shock haha, the author decided to drop the last four chapters while I was drawing this. Sitting there after reading the lovingly crafted ending and finally re-drawing the first TWSB fanart I ever made felt very poetically well-fitting for the occasion! Thank you to Sookym, and all of the friends and fellow readers that I have followed along with on this journey for the past few years!!

I'm very excited for the side stories and the webtoon that is coming back for season 2 on the 30th (and with a new adaptation team)! I hope to continue drawing art for this beloved series for longer too!! 🙌
