okay hear me out. what do our beloved pro players go on to do after retirement? Specifically Neil and Kevin, because I don't think these to could or want to do something that is entirely removed from exy. Sure Kevin has history but I really don't see this man ever making it his job.

So Kevin and Neil have a habit of watching exy games together and I like to think they still do it after graduation whenever they can. It's just their idea of hanging out. Over the years they start commenting on the game more and more and have silly little arguments and debates that get way too heated because it's them. Kevin needs to be right and Neil likes to start shit now and then. As a treat.

One day, at a meeting with the other foxes shortly before their retirement from exy (not out of free will) someone complains that sports commentators are way too formal, they should just let them call a player a moron if they wanted to. Let them be honest. Let them go apeshit. Someone else says Yeah I wish they were more like Neil and Kevin when theyre watching exy together it'd be way more entertaining that way. And well. It's both the worst and best idea they've ever had. Good thing wymack is already gray.

Podcast or radio or talkshow or live TV hell even twitch for all I care but they start doing live exy commentary. Neither of them can shut up about exy and the insane brainrot these two have bouncing off of eachother is unparalleled. It's perfect. Match made in hell. There's a lot of silly arguments, debates taken way too seriously and (mostly well meant) insults thrown around, which makes it VERY entertaining to watch.

They also invite other people onto their little show as guests and that just makes it even more chaotic.

Bonus points if it does well enough and finds its way on TV it would get Ichirou off their backs for another few years at least

You belly up to the wooden bar in the galley of the ship with a sigh. Killer was washing dishes at the sink when he heard you plop on a stool and turns around. 

“Long day, huh?” He asks, drying a beer stein with a dish towel.

Killer nods and takes the clean beer glass over to the keg against the wall and fills it to the rim with amber bubbles. He slides it from across the bar into your waiting palm. You grip the glass and start to bring it to your dry lips. Before the glass could touch your mouth, the door the galley swung open and slammed against the wall. 

“Hey piss-pots, I need a drink.” Captain Kid’s massive, fiery haired frame came barreling through the doorway. You roll your eyes, irritated that your moment of peace was interrupted. 

Kid stomps up to you at the bar, huge black jackboots clanging against the wooden floor. He rips the beer from your grasp.

He drank with such voracity that the beer seeped from the sides of the rim and trickled down his chin and neck. You watched as the beverage spilled down his thick neck, Adams apple bobbing with each gulp. Your eyes were drawn as the droplets traveled down to his exposed chest… so toned and wide… ew what?

He finishes the beer, slams the glass back down on the counter and lets out a massive belch. 

You grimace. 

“Fucking pig.” You sneer. 

You hear Killer sigh heavily and he grabs the glass to refill it for you.

Killer grabs two more glasses before filling one for himself and another for his captain. After handing the stein to Kid, the captain takes a few heavy gulps and drains the cup halfway before setting it back down on the counter. You scoff and pick up your own glass and move to hop off your barstool. 

“Where ye headed little one?” Kid asks and takes another drink. 

“Away from you.” You respond coldly. 

“You’ll stay and drink with me. Captain’s orders.” He commands.

You settle yourself back onto the stool and take a drink. 

“You’re an ass.” 

“I’m your captain, that’s what matters.” He says without looking at you. 

You roll your eyes again. 

“How is it you’ve gotten this far in the Grand Line acting like such an incompetent prick?” You ask before you take another gulp from your beer.

You were too busy chugging your beer to respond.

I saw someone say that Viktor constantly reaching out to Jayce and trying to get him on his side after he initially left him and after Jayce fought, rejected and shot at him makes no sense but i disagree.

Imho jayce and viktor are incredibly, INSANELY codependent, they were each others closest contact for nearly a decade, saw each other every day, single mindedly worked towards the same goal, etc. Their lives immediately take a nosedive once theyre even slightly separated from each other (viktor nearly dies, jayce kills a kid, viktor atomises sky and then nearly kills himself, jayce lands in apocalypse land and viktor starts a cult). They instinctively always act like theyre still partners, even when theyre clearly supposed to be enemies because not being together feels unnatural to them.

Jayce doesnt act consciously when reviving viktor using the hexcore and YES viktor is hurt and distressed bc he was essentially turned into rio and he feels like he needs to leave, but then what? He probably finds out about jayces disappearance a few days later and is like "oh no, oh fuck, i know I left HIM, but i didnt want this" i mean he probably thought jayce was dead.

So for a few months he builds his commune and deliberately integrates sentimental things about his and jayces partnership (his 'home' looks like the hexgates, hes still wearing the blanket, for some reason theres a forge in the commune) which, imho, shows hes mourning and missing jayce in his own way. (A special personal hc of mine is that he grew out his hair out of grief). And in the pit we have jayce sobbing and crying bc he misses both mel and viktor so much.

So jayce reappears and viktors like "heeeyyyy bestie, oh my god, i missed u come visit me!!!" And jayce is rightfully confused like "didnt YOU break up with ME?" and viktor is like "nooo, hahaha, i was crazy back then, just forget about it, pls visit me?" And is only mildly concerned by jayce killing one of his followers (and then hes also mostly concerned about jayce, not salo lol)

Then jayce arrives and shoots him and its very painful bc viktor fully didnt expect jayce to hurt him! Hes so shocked 😭

Anyways after that Viktor "attacks" (more like "does a mating dance for") jayce in the council room and AGAIN asks him to join his emo band and is AGAIN shocked and hurt when jayce genuinely fights back and rejects him. Viktor is temporarily hurt and gives singed the ok to start the process.

And then as the fully transformed herald he STILL talks about how happy he is to see jayce and doesnt really put any effort into neutralising him. Like he could have just shot him hbxhnxgkhfj

All the while we have jayce talking big talk about stopping viktor, but when it comes down to it?? He doesnt manage to take him out and still talks to him. And then he sees Viktor in the astral realm and once there is a SLIVER of hope hes immediately like "oh thank god i can stop trying to kill him, this was never going to work"

All of this isnt contradictory to me. It means that both of them actually know that they should be on opposing sides now, they start acting according to the idea that the other one is now an enemy, they make plans accordingly, but when it comes down to it theyre reluctant to actually follow through bc that would mean a life without the other and thats worse than staying enemies forever.

Viktor kept reaching out, hoping to be partners again after MULTIPLE rejections and jayce couldnt bear to kill viktor or to let him die alone. Being apart from each other is quite literally the worst thing for either of them, so the instinct to reach out to each other will always take over.

- They spent hours working on fighting strategies and technics that could mix both of their strengths

- Sometimes, after every Titan would have left their hideout and it was just them, Roy would play random jazz musics on their speakers and invite Dick to dance on the training mat

- As the only normal humans on the Titans most of the time, if not all the time, they relate to each other in a way no other members can with each of them (doesn’t mean they don’t have strong bonds with the other titans at all, but there’s just some stuff you can’t always relate with some but can with others)

- They can’t escape from the other’s knowing gaze and even if they try to pretend and hide their problems, the other always call him out

- Current dickroy dynamic would be one of an old divorced couple. They keep arguing but you can see just how much history they have together

- Before all the shits they both went through they were more like an old married couple

Dickroy’s numerous issues HCs :

- Because of the elite society Dick was thrown in, he developed a bad case of internalised homophobia as he wanted to fit in so hard and have a similar play-boy persona like Bruce’s (who definetely has had a few flings with men but Dick only ever saw how mean some people were about it)

- This internalised homophobia is what makes Dick pushes Roy away and be on the defensive with him (also because the guy can be insufferable) but it’s also what brings them closer once Roy understands Dick’s problem

- Surprisingly, Dick was the first one to say "I love you"

- They never established that they were together at any point because they’ve never discussed it either. They’re on constant on’s and off’s and even after all these years neither know where they stand with the other

- They can be the worst for each other but they’ll always come back to the other. They’re like magnets, the sun and the moon, stuck in each other’s orbits and they cannot escape

- If I had to use one word to describe their relationship it would be : bittersweet

- Theyre like a broken record, doomed to repeat the same music that slowly grows out of synch until it starts over

- Dick has that stupid defence mechanisms where he acts like a bitch and pushes people away and if at first it worked especially well on Roy, now the guy is completely immune to it so if Dick really wants to escape, he has to draw fists

- On the other hand, one of Roy’s defence mechanisms is his fists and Dick has become an expert at knowing when Roy is using it or when he just want to blow off some steam after a long day

Dickroy and Lian HCs :

- Dick helped Roy with Lian for the first few months of her life with her dad. When they would walk with Lian in her stroller people would sometimes congratulate them for their adorable baby. Neither ever corrected them, they thought it was funny as hell

- When Lian didnt want to sleep, Roy would use Dick (without his knowledge) by saying that "If you don’t go to sleep, Uncle Dick will not teach you that trick he promised to teach you the other day!" It worked everytime

- Dick and the Titans are responsible for half of Lian’s ugly shirts in her wardrobe. Roy actually tried to dress his kid well but failed because of them

- Dick and Donna were the first two people outside of the Arrows to know about both Lian’s death and return

- it eats Dick alive to know that Lian was right under his nose for all those years and he didn’t know

- Roy moved to Gotham City instead of the Titans to stay with Lian (current Roy is a fucking fraud, he told her nothing would separate them anymore and then he’s off to the titans ??? Be fr). It’s kinda how current Dick and Roy start to really reconnect after all those years they spent away from the other (and maybe they fall in love all over again who knows)

- Dick learns about Roy’s death wayyy later than everyone else because he was Ric at that time (I think ??) and once he discovers it, he’s CRUSHED. It’s like he’s re-living Jason’s death all over again because just like for Jason he missed his funeral, nobody told him and he discovers it on accident

- It’s during that time that his family kinda really understand the nature of his bond with Roy. Jason and Dick find themselves both in front of Roy’s grave and Dick is wearing an old coat he kept from Roy’s outsiders days and Jason is like "huh.. ok I see"

- When Roy comes back, Dick believes he’s hallucinating him and kinda freaks out when he realises he’s not

- Officially, Dick never blamed Wally for Roy’s death. Unofficially however… he just got that lingering anger and resentment toward him until Roy comes back (doesn’t mean he cut ties with him. They were still friends but there was this unspoken feeling floating around that used to make every of their interactions suffocating)

- Dick’s death was devasting for Roy as well. He felt terribly alone without his daughter already but this was the nail to the coffin. He was very close to relapse again because of it

- When Dick comes back, he doesn’t tell Roy or the Titans that it was Bruce’s idea first but since they know him, they push for answers and eventually Dick caves in and now everyone is mad at Bruce

- Roy was just mad about the fact that it took so long for Dick to reach out once his mission with Spyral was over but never about the fact he faked his death (even when he didn’t know the actual reason)

yourusername these past few weeks have felt like a crazy, emotional train wreck but there's nobody else I would've rather done it with than my best friend and lover💙 i usually never address anything like this but there are somethings that aren't easy to shake off especially when it comes to my relationship and my loyalty being questioned. there has never been somebody who has been so perfect for me and i would never trade this love for anybody elses. i could go on and on about it but i find it easier to communicate through music.

Chapter 17 foreshadowing/why I think Fushiguro Megumi might be in love with Itadori Yuuji

I've never understood the reason why Gege will add that line of Todo (i mean the special mention of the "it can be a guy")

The idea could've been perfectly understood even if the line wasn't added, but Gege purposefully sat on their desk and decided to draw this panel and add that specific line.

This means opening the possibility of Megumi liking guys, right?

I might be overthinking this, but text and dialogs are super important in mangas. Practically everything that it's said has (or should have) a purpose .

Dialogue scenes move the story forward, for instance, by giving important information about the characters, their relationships, the milieu, and the evolving events; they can also build suspense and reorientate the narrative.

So why then adding this?

We've seen several times that Fushiguro often thought of Itadori as a kind person—even since the beginning.

(It's literally Itadori being described)

If we go back some chapters, we can easily notice this is how Itadori is first introduced in the Manga: as a compassionate person, a good person with the intent of helping others.

In fact, Compassion its a highlighted feature Itadori has always showed through the entire series.

Even at Sukuna's final moment, he shows himself compassionate offering help to him.

Many had thought Itadori fits that description of Megumi, and now I'll explain why I think this is a possibility.

We know the relationship between them its centric in the story —it practically started because Megumi decided he wanted to save Yuuji.

We've see them caring for each other over and over again, many decisions they take are influenced by the thought of benefiting/trying to help the other.

And then we got Itadori really trying hard for an entire arc to save Fushiguro, and when the opportunity comes, he tells him it's okay if he doesn't want to live anymore, but at the same time addmiting he will miss him if he goes.

This scales to the point its practically the love they hold for each other that helps to completely defeat Sukuna

I would also like to add this panel and why I think Fushiguro was projecting himself with the desire of his sister being with someone like Itadori.

The line is Fushiguro stating he wanted his sister —a person we know he LOVES and thinks very highly of— to be with someone as good as Itadori.

He thinks very highly of the two of them.

Theyre both good persons so they deserve each other?

Therefore, he projects himself that way:

He might think it's Tsumiki who deserves to be with Yuuji because she was good, and Yuuji is good too, so logically they deserve each other, right?

He loves Yuuji, but he might not be worth his love because it was him who introduced Yuuji into the jujutsu world (a painful life full of lost and worries).

But maybe someone else might be worth, maybe his sister.

This is how he imagine a perfect peaceful life, he's trasmitng and projecting his desires.

It's not her who wants to be with Yuuji. It's you.

So gathering all the pieces together gives us the big picture, and Megumi's words might feel more like a foreshadowing of their relationship rather than simple words for introducing Todo in the Manga (tho it works in both ways). The response Megumi gives open the possibility for such feelings between the two of them.

So basically, everything we saw to this point that involves the two of them has been development and profundization in their relationship for this last punchline we got of Megumi realizing that he wants to keep trying because its worth living out of love

After all, love IS a centric theme in the story. It's mentioned several times along the series. Gojo describes it as the worst curse, Itadori thinks Sukuna acts that way because of the lack of it. And if we add this new layer, Megumi thinks its woth living out of it.

Ultimately, what's going on between them is inherently love— aside if it's or not romantic

I can't fully explain my ideas cause i can't put them in orden, sorry :/

This is just my opinion btw 🤷‍♀️ also there's only 3 chapters left so I might end up as a big fucking clown 🤡 literally anything could happen but we'll see
