AU i'm currently workshopping/pondering:

arima is a highly prolific ghoul

he was a sunlit garden child but escaped

he is apart of a group (perhaps the leader) that includes ghoul!hirako and ghoul!ui so far.... will have to add some more people to it

their group cares for the ghoul versions of the zero squad kids,,, who are not from the sunlit garden i don't think

ghoul!hairu is here somewhere idk perhaps apart of the group

arima's the same age but his hair is still blue bc he's a full ghoul and doesn't experience the rapid aging

he probably has a kakuja(?)

rize is sort of in arima's canon role here,,,, she's the CCG's strongest investigator and she's a half-human

she's shachi's biological daughter and idk if shachi is apart of the washuu clan or if he is just someone associated with them

her hair is white

she has a 'kamishiro squad' (like the arima squad in canon) but idk who's in there.......

kurona & nashiro and kuroneki and shironeki have almost completely swapped roles

more to come soon maybe....

i need to really piece all of this together cuz it's driving me insane floating around in my head i just had to get it all out!!!
