anyway related to my "gullible" post i do think bonnie didn't really have a lot of friends / any good friends. i'm taking a watsonian approach to "some of the things bonnie does seem more like age 5-8 than 10-12", and a doylist approach to "everyone in this party grew up kinda lonely and feels disconnected from their peer group"

#thoughts #thoughts about bonnie #bambouche is so small no one woulda gotten away with being Mean to bonnie. and people were generally Nice anyway #they still had friends and got to do fun things with them #they just.. didn't get invited to play Every game #and the person they considered their best friend didn't consider bonnie to be even top three #yknow #lots of factors...#bonnie wasn't there as a baby/toddler - they arrived right at the age where kids start to remember and care who's already their friend #and bonnie and nille were 'the newcomers' and will remain as such for 10 or 20 years #and for the first couple years bonnie was behind in most social-emotional and academic skills due to their early years in an abusive house #and while they mostly caught up #'forming close bonds with peers' is just a rly hard thing to catch up on #bc if you're too far behind you just don't get the chance to practice and thus you fall even further behind #and then specifically some of the words bonnie needs help with i would expect them to already know / have no issue pronouncing #possible explanations could be that vaugardian is a second language or they've got some language or auditory processing issues #and either way - having trouble communicating can rly isolate you esp as a kid #also everyone in this party is autistic. to me #isat #bonnie #isat bonnie

#aw #that sounds nice #anonymous #answered #I was wondering what the aged paper is doing there but it reminded me of something #so I'm going to share a weird personal detail totally unprompted #I think I used to have pica disorder when I was a kid I would gnaw on and eat a lot of small inedible objects #pieces of cardboard rubber bands and blu tack #the plastic animal figurines I had had bitemarks on them and were often missing bodyparts like if a dog had gotten to them #also a ton of uncooked pasta #I think it wasn't a flavor thing I had obsessions for specific textures that weren't found in actual foods #I particularly craved those candy wrappers that are made of waxed paper #(finns might be familiar with pihlaja or marianne wrappers for example or those translucent inner wrappers in lehmäkarkki/ cow cream fudge)#can't say for sure when it stopped but one day I realized that hey hold on this probably isn't normal human behavior #I think I was over 10 but under 15 #and I had forgotten the whole thing but got such a vivid flashback from that line it was actually kind of alarming

idk if it means anything really, but i think it's interesting how after all their time together as a couple in a christianity-adjacent world, lucifer and lilith only had one (1) child, and it was only 200 years ago at that

#for a show based on a religion notorious for the expectation put on women to become mothers (especially at a young age)#(and in certain extreme cases the only real role of a woman being essentially that of a breeding tool/incubator)#it's a neat detail (though quite likely unintentional) that the Ultimate 1 Most Horrible Sinner Couple betrayed heaven's rules #then went on to have a long (happy? generally successful?) relationship without needing/rushing to have children #presumably satisfied with one another rather than feeling obligated to make themselves “useful”#I feel it really highlights exactly the sort of differences that came of lilith choosing lucifer over adam #like no wonder amirite.#freedom for lilith was as small and inherent a thing as bodily autonomy (👀); as getting to have a relationship where she can be loved for #who she is instead of what services she can provide #the show obviously mentions this a lot in other ways but to me a main example of this is the childlessness in their marriage #again idk if it means much but i haven't seen this talked about much i know this specifically is not talked about in the show either #but it's a pretty obvious deviation from what christianity teaches women and what lilith would have especially known to be her role at the #beginning of humanity where they needed to do a lot of ~populating~#even nowadays the expectation for women to become wifes and be subservient to their husbands & the role of sex being purely reproductive #all that time but only 1 kid & so late too just goes to show how absent those roles + rules + expectations were once lilith rejected adam #(and therefore heaven)#which. the detail itself can be interpreted in different ways as can the reaction to this particular interpretation. but personally i'm just #happy for her that she (perhaps/presumably/temporarily) got to experience a loving relationship based on mutual respect and equality etc.#so like good for her #this doesnt really have a point i just thought it was a cool detail #rant post #shitpost #kind of #hazbin hotel #lucilith #i am not trying to generalize christianity itself here btw #and when i say extreme cases i do mean *extreme* as i know it's not reflective of the religion as a whole or it's principles #but in the hellaverse specifically it does seem like those teachings and mentalities and heavily unequal gender roles *were* meant to exist #so the specific lack of their fulfillment with lucilith seems important

#spent all day with family #and these were the fun relatives okay. these are the ones who actually ask me about my life #and talk about tv shows and my writing and encourage me #and buy the best christmas presents #and their kids are at the age where they're reading books that i love!!#and i'm actually beginning to be able to talk with them which is wild #(i'm not great with little kids. when i can talk to them about books however! that's my very small niche)#it was a lot of fun #but oh stars i am Tired #would like to sleep #and/or watch a rebels #but luckily i got a solid hour and a half of jfo time on my own #so i am semi rejuvenated #still tired though

Oh yes I do! The complex tics are complex ticcing! Idk it kind of feels like a chakra thing maybe for me? My family never really noticed though (assuming they don't do it themselves)

#i have like these specific spots (back of neck middle of chest center top of forearms and wrists #center top of thighs point of knees middle bottom of feet and hinge of second toe #i used to have to go down them and press my nails on each in order #don't really do that anymore but it's still like i feel all those points existing on me #and there's like pinching and pressing a pattern of spots on my hand and fingers #stretching the toes (grace i use my heel to get the pinky toe in place)#chewing on spots inside my mouth but in a rotation #i am once again saying that if i had been kid 8 instead of kid 1 it would have been me taken in for psych eval and tourettes reveal #or maybe if my parents had paid more attention to me from ages 5-12 #(they were great parents but they had so so many small children #and i was a weird combo of super obvious and out there and super weirdly secretive #my dad did freak out about my skin picking explosion when i was 13 and the stress of moving set me off #but he did it in the way of you're choosing to do this and i just have to enforce the right penalty to make you stop #(as someone ignorant of his own neurodivergence is wont to do ...))

#the eisegesis made me want to rattle out of my bones in frustration #got corrected for trying to cross-reference because ''we only stick to our one passage'' and nearly fucking cried about it #I PHYSICALLY CANNOT NOT CROSS-REFERENCE SCRIPTURE #not only is it a shitty hermeneutical process but it's also just Not How My Brain Works!!#y'all have seen me crossreference on this blog it isn't just the Bible! I can't Not crossreference things to save my life #and I basically got (admittedly she was trying to be kind about it) corrected in front of the entire group of 20somethings #and the couple that leads it are so PARTICULAR and nitpicky and it has to be done their way or you're gonna get corrected #my first introduction to her was her coming up to me while I was working the sound booth and telling me about something #wrong with my production setup that I KNEW ABOUT and WAS AND STILL AM NOT ABLE TO CHANGE #(our camera for livestreams doesn't have a high enough mount and I don't have space to extend it higher so we catch the tops #of people's heads in the camera shot)#and the girl I went bc I want to get to know her better WASNT EVEN THERE #I spent the entire time trying not to cry or look at anyone #I need to find a different small group... sorry all the kids my age were nice but I can't handle the structure or leaders #Lu rambles #adulthood woes

Not enough about the clones being children and adults at the same time. They're 10 years old. They're fully grown. They're still little kids. They never got to have a childhood at all. They're terrifying soldiers. They hardly know anything about the galaxy except how to fight and how to take orders.

I want clones that have this childish wonder at the world, but being terrified to show it. Clones with the sense of humor of 10 year old boys. Clones who don't really understand what death is, not really. Not until they're on a battlefield and dying in droves.
