It’s exciting!! I’ve been waiting a while for this one! I hope people have been as excited as I’ve been! Maybe sometime I’ll create a more detailed/flushed out drawing, but for now I’m happy with this drawing given the short amount of time I gave myself.

Being loosely a part of this fandom has definitely helped me in my art journey and inspired me to become a better creator.

ik and I already looked into it...... like I have no clue how to even begin to report or do anything abt it bc clearly the site is made specifically to bar actual artists from repremanding anyone. Looked through the whole TOS and help sections of the site months ago and there's nothing helpful in it at all... I've just done my best to ignore it bc like it makes me feel sooo fucking bad knowing that I'm literally helpless against it.

Def no hard feelings bc ik u just wanted to let me know, and if anyone KNOWS any ways to actually get this taken down I would be so grateful (preferrably that isn't super involved and won't require big boy stuff like lawyers and stuff bc I ain't got time for that), and once again no hard feelings but in the future I would prefer this isn't brought up to me w/o active solutions bc once again it just makes me feel frustrated and helpless all over again 😭

I am genuinely so moved by the Natlan Live Symphony music. My god it's so beautiful, so power, so sincere, so much- it's everything I could ever ask for. Hoyo-mix genuinely never disappoints I swear.

I just wished so so bad they gave the same respect and care for the characters, story, and world. If the whole of Natlan and Sumuru were done this well, I think Genshin could have really done something truly incredible in video game history, or even entertainment history.

But no, they are still blatantly racist, colorist, and such. Until then, KEEP BOYCOTTING!!! DEMAND BETTER REPRESENTATION- BECAUSE THEY CAN DO IT!!!

ok so honestly, I never thought there would ever need to be a post about this but here we go. I absolutely admire ALL fanartists that decide to draw or paint my favourite characters. love all the techniques artists use, and the hardwork they put in is so commendable.

I've seen so many arts of inej and they are all truly wonderful. but what irks me is the way her skin tone is painted. she is Suli. she has brown skin.

her skin colour, the way I remember it, is literally compared to bronze metal. and yet, I've seen so many arts where people paint her as light skinned. I've seen kanej arts where there is very minimal difference between her and kaz's skin colour (and Kaz is described to be paler than an average Kerch, which is really saying something).

I don’t know I just don’t think that letting go is the final form of love, any love! it’s a stage, and it’s a stage we have to pass through—there was a time when “To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go” was an earth-shattering revelation for me. but it’s penultimate, it has to be. because where does letting go leave you, but in a kind of indifference which is the very opposite of love? you let go to release the ache in your hands from grasping. but then you have to extend your hand again. even if the love doesn’t come back, even if you’ve let go of any hope of it coming back the way it was before or the way you wanted it to, you have to extend a hand to it and hope that it will meet you in the end—in the very end, where the good here unfinished is completed and we may laugh together yet. you have to let go, and then you have to hope for the fulfillment of heaven. I do not believe the “noli me tangere” is ultimate; I believe it is a period of fasting before the wedding feast.
